[A present for my girlfriend, @abominationimperatrix. As you may be able to tell from the art, this OC started life as a Houndoom in a Pokemon setting. So we talked about how to fit her into Pathfinder, particularly my take on Pathfinder, and settled on the gerulfus. Theres definitely a tradition, possibly more in line with fakelore than folklore but still, of relatively benevolent dog-headed humanoids, like the wulver or dwayyo. Plus, I’m still awfully proud of digging up “gerulfus” as a generic name for dog-headed humanoids.]
Priscilla CR 19 N Outsider (native) This humanoid appears to be an anthropomorphic hellhound, with curving horns and a spade on the end of her tail. Her fur is a dark magenta hue, and growths like an external spinal column and ribs stretch along her back and sides. She wears mismatched leather armor and a spiked collar.
Before there was Priscilla, there was a gerulfus in the Sanos Forest. Created by the fears and anxieties of the people of Sandpoint, Wartle, and other nearby communities about everything from goblins to ghouls to the Sandpoint Devil, this gerulfus was determined to make the Sanos Forest its territory. Unfortunately, there was already a powerful monster occupying the forest—a phouka witch named Gigi, who considered herself the “Scary Fairy Godmother” of Varisia. Time and again, the gerulfus threw itself at Gigi, and time and again, Gigi repelled her with tricks and spells. Eventually a combination of fatigue and curiosity got the gerulfus to ask, “Why haven’t you just killed me?”
Gigi explained that she was impressed by the gerulfus’ tenacity and zeal, and thought that those qualities could be turned to more productive use. That was enough to start a friendship, which eventually blossomed into a romance. They talked of Gigi’s patron, Mormo the Goddess of Predators, and about how Golarion in general and the Inner Sea region specifically was plagued by demons and on the verge of ecological collapse. They also talked of identity and presentation, and Gigi helped Priscilla to decide on her new appearance, gender and name. Now reborn as her better self, Priscilla is Gigi’s right hand monster, and one of Mormo’s most powerful servitors in Avistan.
Priscilla is the bogey’s bogey. She hunts monsters that cause undue suffering and ecological catastrophe. Priscilla’s favorite prey are demons, as they are tactically challenging, worthy opponents, but she has fought an entire codex of creatures and lived to tell the tale. Prisciilla might be the foremost authority on monster biology, behavior and abilities in all of Avistan: certainly in Varisia. She has sworn her service to Mormo, and combines divine spells with her natural cunning in combat to eradicate Lamashtu cults and powerful monsters. Varisia is her most frequent hunting ground, but she can and does use her gerulfus magic to open portals to travel across the globe and into the First World.
Priscilla is a tenacious combatant. She may stalk prey for hours, even days, in order to observe their strengths and weaknesses. Her spells are primarily used to enhance her tracking abilities and to bolster the strength of her and her allies. Priscilla often fights alone, but may also lead commando raids of other Mormo worshipers, or work with local monsters and people who want to fight back against greater threats. Although she carries a bow and arrow for flying enemies, Priscilla eschews the use of melee weapons—she still likes to get her teeth and claws dirty. Against weaker foes, Priscilla uses stealth to take them out with a single decisive strike, but she does enjoy a good old fashioned, knockdown brawl now and again.

On all fours, its move speed is 60 feet, but it cannot make claw attacks any round in which is uses its gallop ability. Legendary Priscilla’s statistics are built with 25 point buy, and she has the gear of a 19th level player character. This raises her CR by +1 Scourge of the Enemy (Ex) Priscilla treats worshipers of Lamashtu as if they were her favored enemy (as the ranger class ability), gaining a +2 bonus on the appropriate rolls. Terror Shield (Su) A gerulfus gains a deflection bonus to AC equal to its Charisma bonus. Creatures immune to fear effects ignore this bonus, and a creature that casts remove fear on a gerulfus can make a DC 23 caster level check to suppress this ability for the duration of the spell. Variant Gerulfus Priscilla loses the spell-like abilities of a typical gerulfus, and gains a breath weapon instead. Zealous Surge (Sp) Once per day, when Priscilla is reduced to 0 or fewer hit points, she heals a number of hit points equal to her inquisitor level + her Wisdom modifier.

So when did you become interested in espeon? That pink thing has been your icon for a while, what do you like about it?
i ramble.
can't abandon my roots. i came to tumblr with rhea being my main (and only) pokemon oc at the time. she opened the gates for the likes of sara and nia and aldith so she sort of holds a special place in my heart.
that's actually pyxis in my profile picture. i asked jazz a really long time ago if xe could draw rhea for some oc requests. didn't think xe'd actually draw her though
Tumblr media
back then i didn't give her a proper design in my head. i hadn't thought that far since my ass didn't like using picrew ("you can draw just do that. stop being lazy") and i hadn't properly found my art style with humans, let alone learned how to draw her in it. and i still haven't really drawn her, outside of fourish instances.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
that last one is my favorite of the bunch. ft bellatrix
"but sleepy why are you talking about rhea" that's because pyxis is rhea's ace. i chose it over all of her pokemon at the time because, well...
espeon is very dear to me. i played insurgence before i got into reborn, and i didn't care about the delta forms at all. so i chose eevee for my starter.
it started trying to evolve sometime before the.. second or third gym i believe. at the time i also had a riolu. i was constantly soft resetting and trying to figure out where day turned into night, but i just couldn't get my eevee (named delta) to evolve into an unbreon. which was my favorite at the time. what i didn't know was my riolu was also close to evolving. so, in one of my attempts, it evolved. and right after that the eevee turned into an espeon.
i gave up because i didn't want to go out of my way to get riolu to evolve too.
Tumblr media
as i used delta i realized how well it fit how i played. so i just slowly came to appreciate it more.
i'm not a fan of its bogos binted shiny, but i adore it's design and the lore behind it. i like how eevee evolved because it wanted to protect its trainer and i'm a big fan of the forked tail
it's been my favorite for 3 years. i don't think it's gonna stop anytime soon, seeing as absol has been my favorite for four.

Sorry for the Wall of Text but hey! List of Future Fics in the works? :D
Okay so... I've been working on SO MANY stories for a while now (plot bunnies drag me around from one to the next, through new stories, while I still work slowly on my current Ao3 fics), but decided to post a little here about everything (story wise) that's been going on with the fics being mainly worked on!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Plot Bunnies Currently Making Me Their Bitch:
MCU - No Title yet, but is going to be an absolute TITAN of a story and series spanning from around 2007 pre-Iron Man 1 to Secret Invasion, with a lot of changes and a lot of additions (including Timeline event changes, Infinity War being an actual 3 to 4 month long war instead of 24hrs, PIETRO SURVIVES without Clint and the kid dying, Ultron is gonna be a far more badass boss fight with a moment of Avengers going "...Why do I hear boss music?", a handful of characters are going to be added to spice things up) and so much more! OC is gonna be Nat's kid via Red Room science (made in a lab) which will go over more in the fic (also other DNA is Yelena's, however there will be ZERO Nat x Yelena here. it will be Platonic "this is my child so i will cut a bitch if anyone hurts them" sort of parental situation. Yelena tends to be Aro/Ace in my fics being written, majority of the time, though there is an idea for an Ace!Yelena and Kate fic i have in mind, but that's for another story) - (OC -intersex afab- x Wanda Maximoff, and a lot of background pairings) - Inspired by "Smells Like Teen Spirit" version by Malia J, "Set It All Free" sang by Scarlett Johansson, and "Can't Help Falling in Love" version by Haley Reinhart
MCU - No Title Yet, a possible series of oneshots jumping around of Venom!NonBinary!Reader, Yelena Belova, and Kate Bishop platonic besties spreading some chaos and even possibly accidentally helping couples get together - (Background Wanda x Natasha, Pietro x Steve, Sam x Bucky, Tony x Pepper, Carol x Maria Rambeau, Peter Parker x MJ, Maria Hill x Sif, Thor x Jane) - Inspired by "Oath" by Cher Lloyd ft Becky G, "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga, and "Raise Your Glass" by P!nk
MCU - Waking Wanda - a Dark started story intro that leads to OC being reborn as Wanda Maximoff (though doesn't get flashes of memories until a young child of around 5ish and it's only enough to sort of let me give a reason for character changes Wanda will have, also no "MCU knowledge"). Story will toe the line with Dark status every so often (Wanda has very little problem being an Antihero right off the bat when around Teenage and that carries on as she ages, and has no problem literally killing to protect, more so when it comes to protecting Pietro). Sort of a test story for Darker writings, but ultimately will have a happy ending because i'm a sucker for happy endings. Technically the OC is just a placebo spark for me to change Wanda up a little for a story idea, and the OC stuff itself means very little beyond those "sparks" to induce change which will butterfly effect over time. (Wanda Maximoff x Natasha Romanoff, with background Pietro x Sam, Steve x Bucky, etc, etc) - Story was inspired by "Vicious" by Halestorm, and "Sweet but Psycho" by Ava Max
MCU - No Title Yet, and a smaller fic (and closer to the MCU timeline of stuff, though still plenty of changes and yes, Pietro lives along with Clint and the kid here, too). Will also toe the line with Darker stuff like Waking Wanda will (i'm very fond of writing antiheroes lately...), and OC will have Animal Shapeshifting powers. OC is also a brother to Wanda and Pietro via triplets instead of twins. - (TransMale!OC x Natasha Romanoff, with background Wanda x Darcy and Pietro x Monica) - Story was inspired by "Insane" by Black Gryph0n and Baasik, and "Wrong Side of Heaven" by Five Finger Death Punch
MCU - No Title Yet, this story will be a fic that doesn't heavily dip into fighting battles at first like the other stories, and instead will be set where Reader will end up in the MCU and steps in where possible (healing ability and also has wings, though you can hide them into a scar on your back) to try to encourage change to bring a bit less pain and suffering to our Avengers. Wanda and Natasha end up dating Reader (triad poly) during Civil War era (bigger changes here, and yes, Reader saves Pietro, there is deff a pattern here for me, i think) after Reader sort of gets pulled in via sticking around after Lagos to heal any wounded (Wanda yeets Rumlow a little more viciously so it clears it just enough to only cause a little bit of roof damage) - Wanda x Natasha x Female Reader - Inspired by "If Today Was Your Last Day" by Nickelback, and "Soldier" by Gavin DeGraw
MCU - No Title Yet, possibly a small series of oneshots about Wanda and Reader being a Soft!Couple, but also has Wanda and Vision being besties, and Reader and Natasha being besties. Literally just a "feel good" series - Wanda x Female Reader (Reader and Nat being Platonic besties, while Wanda and Vision being Platonic besties) - Inspired by "You and Me" by Plain White T's, and "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves
MCU - No Title Yet, set after Endgame. Natasha comes back via Steve's stone exchange, but she's not really healed from it. Scars, recovering from broken bones, and honestly feels lost. While Clint is dealing with Kate stuff (Yelena goes to help him at Natasha's request, and because she's become fond of him like an older brother as well), Natasha meets Southern!Reader who is a friend of Laura's, visiting from Texas (was also a Marine). Reader and Natasha are a bit awkward at first (Natasha because she's still recovering and unsteady from retiring, thus not really sure what she wants to do now, and Reader due to just being a shy awkward person who still doesn't really understand how people "people"). The two end up helping each other. Natasha helping Reader with moments of night terrors spawned from PTSD of war/battles against other humans and other skirmishes with Thanos' army during the blip era. Reader helps Natasha stop pushing herself so hard during her recovery (physical and mental), and start to stop and just breathe, along with the fear of a truly unknown future. - Natasha x Autistic!Female Reader - Inspired by "Stuck In a Moment You Can't Get Out Of" sang by Scarlet Johansson, "Rise Up" by Andra Day, "Shatter Me" by Lindsey Stirling ft Lzzy Hale, and "All I Know So Far" by P!nk
MCU - No Title Yet. IM SO WEAK for Vera Farminga that it's unreal (dare i say Wanda Maximoff levels)?! That held my existence hostage and spawned this one here, of Eleanor Bishop x Reader. Reader is gonna be Wanda and Pietro's slightly older sibling (Marvel can pry Pietro's survival from my cold, dead hands) and has powers much like Magneto of the X-Men movies, but also cannot be harmed by metal objects, and has a resistance (read: resistance, not immunity) to more extreme cold and hot temperatures, as well as the abilities extending to Vibranium.
Conjuring Universe - No Title Yet. read above about weakness, RIP. Anyway, Reader will be Ed's sister who portrays a masculine build/clothing (and yes, binder! inc history research of binders and what was common and uncommon in that time era). Will happen around the main 3 Conjuring movies, as well as dabbling in The Nun 2 post credits scene (and extended), and the Curse of La Llorona getting a lil bit of a rewrite.

Update!: Oath of Penance
Formerly called the Oath of Reformation, I have edited a few things about my homebrew Paladin oath and you can find the new version below! If you end up using it, please let me know with your feedback.
Oath of Penance
The Oath of Penance is to many only a bridge to a greater calling, but for some it is their calling. The followers of this path often have lived lives in which they inflicted pain, hurt the innocent, or made choices that harmed themselves and others. Those who choose this Oath are sometimes called Reformers, Penitents or Scarred Champions. Penance Paladins are often more down to earth than their counterparts, and swear themselves to deities with simple, straightforward goals. Often they experience a spiritual epiphany, sometimes even interacting with a deity directly and as such are a subject of envy and occasionally derision to their fellow paladins. They are not champions of great, abstract causes, but of the tangible. Their morals are simple, but they are willing to see shades of grey.
Tenets of Penance
The Tenets of Penance are set out in order to build on the ideals of the pasts that these Paladins have lived.
Defend Your Own. Keep those safe who have helped you, and repay them in kind. Defend those who have been hurt by those like you.
Earn Your Keep. Repay those who have given you shelter, offered you guidance, and shared their lives with you. Give more than you are given, and share of yourself.
Never Stop Moving. Even when the world grows dark, and the future is grim, you move forward. The most powerful thing you can do is stay alive, and keep on fighting.
Stand Your Ground. Be fierce in your convictions, and stand between the innocent and those who would willfully wrong them. Choose your battles carefully, but be steadfast to the end.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin level listed.
Tumblr media
Channel Divinity
When you take this Oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Wrath of the Divine. As an action, use your holy symbol to call upon the strength of your deity, combined with your dark past to create an intimidating presence. Choose one hostile creature within 30 feet of you. The creature must make a wisdom saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failure, the creature is frightened for 1 minute and cannot move closer to you and all attacks against you are at disadvantage. On subsequent turns the affected creature may attempt saving throws at the end of their turn to end the Fear effect. On a successful save the effect ends. On a successful initial saving throw a creature cannot move closer to you for the next round, and only its next attack against you has disadvantage. Frightened creatures also cannot take reactions against you for the duration. You must take a long rest before you can use this Channel Divinity again.
Defend the Blameless. As a bonus action, you give friendly creatures within 30 ft of you who have not yet caused damage to any hostile creatures a +1 to their AC for 1 minute or until they successfully attack a creature or they move out of the 30 ft range. You can use this ability once per short rest. This bonus increases to +2 at level 10 and +3 at level 17.
Aura of Renewal
Beginning at 7th level, the strength of your dedication to your rebirth as a force for good is so strong that you exude an aura of life through sheer willpower. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you are resistant to necrotic damage.
Defender’s Strike
Beginning at 15th level, when a friendly creature within ten feet of you is struck by an enemy in your melee range, you can use a reaction to make a melee spell attack against that enemy to deal 2d6 radiant damage. You can use this feature a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus.
At 18th level, the radiant damage increases to 3d6.
Reborn Champion
At 20th level, you are able to transform yourself into a true Champion of a divine force. You can take this transformation as an action and it lasts 1 minute. You gain the following benefits:
You are resistant to nonmagical piercing, bludgeoning, and slashing damage.
When you take the attack action, you can make an additional melee attack as a part of that action.
When you are struck by an enemy, the power of the divine flows through you and deals radiant damage equal to your strength modifier x2, minimum of 2.
You can use this feature once per long rest.

With the help of his other fireteam members, Rocky and Isaac, he defeated Oryx and brought temporary peace to the Last City. He’s since then become the “official” greeter of all the new Guardians who come to the Last City. In his original life, he was a soldier who was devoted to protecting the Earth from potential invaders. He had a fiancé who wanted to travel the rest of the galaxy, but couldn’t convince Matt into leaving with her. She ended up leaving on the ship that would cause the creation of the Awoken while Matt stayed on Earth and witnessed the Collapse. His name was teasingly given to him by some other Guardians who were bullying him when he first came to the City as a Guardian (they called him a floormat due to his tendency for falling on his face).
Family: No living relatives, but he considers his fireteam his family
Best Friend: Roq-5 AKA Rocky; these two are so close, some people mistake them for a couple LOL
Significant Other/Love interest: Suriya Hawthorne, girlfriend
Friends, Enemies, Acquaintances, and Colleagues: The leader of Fireteam Misfit. He has respectful relationships with Isaac and Marvel, a strong platonic sibling/soulmate relationship with Hannah, acts like an older brother to Ace and Lunaa, and is quite supportive of Uldren. Good friends with Fon (@tobestik’s OC). Highly respects the Speaker and the Vanguard. He’s friends with literally everyone in the Last City and beyond, and one of the biggest supporters of the friendly relations between the House of Light and Caiatl’s forces. His only enemies are the ones presented as such (Ghaul, Oryx, Savathun, etc.) and anyone who fully aligns themself with the Darkness (Guardians who wield Darkness abilities were hard for him to get used to at first, but he’s made peace with it; however you will never see him doing anything of the sort)
Phys. Health/Mental Health: Perfect physical health; has minor PTSD from when Isaac died
Education: He knows a lot about all the different alien species in the galaxy (it’s a special interest of his). He’s also well-versed in all the different weapons and weapon types that exist; he’s basically a major nerd

Favorite phrases: “Welcome to the Last City!”, “I can help!”, and *crashing noises*
Favorite color(s): Red and bronze
Favorite food/drink: Coffee
Favorite music: Country and soft rock
Favorite quote/saying: “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”
Weapon(s) of choice: The Sunshot and Huckleberry; most pistols and hand cannons honestly
Role model: All of the Vanguard, but mainly Zavala
Important personal item/Prized possession: His cloak, which was gifted to him by the Speaker after he first came to the Last City
Creator trait(s): The ability to dance, Midwestern accent, PTSD due to loss, love of coffee, being the voice of reason, natural older sibling nature, getting awkward around romantic interests, collecting and displaying trinkets
Inspiration for creation: When I first started playing Destiny, I wanted to make a character that looked like McCree from Overwatch, but I ended up making him just straight up look like Matt Mercer instead LOL. My reasoning was further supported by the fact that the og voice for male humans was in fact actual Matt Mercer haha
Featured in: Anything related to my main Destiny AU staring Fireteam Misfit

Story is set when Oden first joins the Whitebeard pirates)
Name: Quincey
Nicknames/ title: Quince, Quinn, Carp (Whitebeard), Charging Ram Quincey (Epithet)
Race: Half Fishman Half Human?
Age: 13-14
Pronouns: She/Her
Height: 5.7 ft
Orientation: Aro-Ace
Devil fruit: Ushi-Ushi no mi: Model Qilin
Weapons: Falchion Sword, horns/antlers, tail, teeth and claws.
Personality traits: Sarcastic, stupid lovable idiot, jokester/prankster, blunt, cheerful, no self-awareness, what's personal safety? Will tell you how it is, punch go brrr, depressingly lacking in self-worth, annoying.
Facts:
Quinn was reborn in One Piece about a month ago, in that time she has done several dumb things:
Such as accidently eating a devil fruit, losing the ability to swim, a very stupid thing to do as a Fishman... she can breathe under water still, but she will sink like a rock and won't be able to move or do anything other than sit at the bottom of the sea floor.
Antagonised a Prime Garp, which ended badly for her, being caught and thrown into a cell on his ship.
Decided to escape onto Whitebeard's ship as some kind of entertainment, finding great pleasure in annoying the whole crew. However she just gets stuck on the ship, unable to leave...
She gets on well with 15 year old Marco and Nekomamushi, Vista is tired of her shit, Oden finds her amusing and at the same time annoying, Toki is like her helpful big sister, Jozu and Inuarashi find her weird.
She has no clue what she is, but her guess is a Fishman. Don't even try to ask her what type of Fishman she is, Quinn will say: "a scaley fish"
She likes to wear 'cool' stuff, the trench coat in particular is one of her favourites, Quinn will often stand in the wind and let it blow behind her... makes her feel like a badass.
Quinn found a Falchion sword, which at the time she thought was awesome, swords are really cool, especially in One piece... but now greatly regrets taking it with her, all the Swordsmen on the Moby Dick have decided to try and teach her how to use it. Spoiler: She has no talent.
Her poor swordmenship skills make everyone cringe, she will swing her sword around like a baseball bat, she will hit people with the flat side of the blade and will even throw it at people sometimes.
When Quinn fights its lacking in the safety department, she just wants to have fun, throwing herself into dangerous situations without fear. Because of this, Quincey is unfazed by guns or swords and will dive on an opponent without a care.
The girl figures out pretty quickly that she's stronger than a regular human and her head is hard, like rock hard, Quinn will charge into enemies, headbutting is her favourite technique. Her tail makes a good blunt object to hit people with and she has no problem biting or punching her way out of situations... whether that actually works or not is dependent on who she's fighting.
She is often asked why she has horns, Quincey of course has no clue. In our world she obviously just a human, while in One piece Quinn's appearance is very similar to that of her real world self , only she has the added bonus of the fish features and the blue hair.
She can't talk about the future to anyone, well with the exception of Toki that is... As for the rest, when she speaks about the events in the manga, they will hear something cryptic or creepy, almost like a riddle or rhyme. Something that isn't very understandable. When she learns about this little ability, Quince finds it all very fun and enjoys messing with the crew. Her favourite target is Whitebeard about his hair loss in the future.
Despite her rashness, jokes and brave foolish behaviour, it is hardly for the right reasons. She does these things, simply because she doesn't care whether she lives or dies. This lack of fear stems from literally not giving a damn. "What's the point of trying to survive in a world like this, its not like it matters. If I die, I die. I'm gonna do whatever I want, might as well have fun while I'm alive."

Giff -- SpellJammer Race for Pathfinder
Giff -- SpellJammer Race [19 RACE POINTS] for First Edition Pathfinder
Known to the gnomes of Markovia as the nilski konj vojnici, to the Hin plantation-owners of Covington Farms as los mercenarios gigantes del río, and to the human field-workers laboring near New Arvoreen most-often simply as “those big goddamn bastards,” the giff -- as they are called in their own guttural, roaring language -- represent a recently-contacted species of huge, violent, powerfully-built, terrifyingly-focused, and dangerously cagey combatants.
In the little-over-a-century since their discovery by the Hin, platoons of giff have already carved a bloody name for themselves across the wilds of Verdura -- and far beyond -- as unparalleled river-guides, rowdies, strike-breakers, mob debt-collectors, private enforcers, heavy-weapons units, siege engines, bodyguards, and elite soldiers of fortune.
Brought to you absolutely free to enjoy, to test & to share – as always – by the fine folks of my Patreon.

Type: Monstrous Humanoid (3 RP)
Ability Score Modifiers: Mixed Weakness (-2 RP)
+2 Strength, -4 Dexterity, +2 Constitution, -4 Intelligence, +2 Wisdom
Size: Large (7 RP)
Giff gain a +2 size bonus to Strength and a -2 size penalty to Dexterity (already included above). Giff also suffer a -1 size penalty to their AC and a -1 size penalty on all attack rolls; they gain a +1 bonus on combat maneuver checks and to their CMD, and suffer a -4 size penalty on Stealth checks.
A giff takes up a space that is 10 feet by 10 feet and has a reach of 5 feet.
Base Speed: Normal speed (0 RP)
Languages: Standard (0 RP); giff speak their own eponymous, curiously poetic language, and most are -- in the modern day -- also conversant in Low Kozah-Talosii (usually spoken with a thick, pompous Verduran accent).
This bastardized dialect, the so-called “Common tongue” favored across Pyrespace for use in international, intercultural, and interplanetary trade, is a degraded mongrel variant of High Kozah-Talosii: the ancient root-tongue of both Arvorean and Brandobarin, still employed by the Church of Yondalla for use in sermons, hymns, and in all official records.
Big Damn Guns: Giff are treated as gnomes for purposes of the Experimental Gunsmith Archetype. (0 RP)
Darkvision: Giff have 60 ft. darkvision (0 RP); giff have relatively poor eyesight while out of water, which is easily corrected with simple lenses -- such as a monocle -- for use while reading. This vision is not poor enough to impart a mechanical penalty on Perception checks or attack rolls made by the giff.
Natural Armor: Giff have +3 natural armor (4 RP)
Natural Attack (Headbutt): Giff receive one natural attack, which is treated as a gore attack that deals 1d8 bludgeoning damage. (1 RP)
Natural Swimmers: Giff have a swim speed of 30 feet and gain the +8 racial bonus on Swim checks that a swim speed normally grants. (1 RP)
Powerful Charge (Headbutt): Whenever a giff charges, it deals twice the standard number of damage dice with its headbutt plus 1-1/2 times its Strength bonus. (2 RP)
River-Sense: Giff can sense vibrations in water, granting them blindsense 30 feet against creatures that are touching the same body of water. (1 RP)
Slow On Land: Giff often select the Clumsy, Easy Target, Magically Inept, Nearsighted, and Slow Reflexes Major Drawbacks (0 RP)
Spell Resistance (Greater): Giff have spell resistance equal to 11 + their character level. (3 RP)
Sporting: The species-wide love of warfare exhibited by the giff draws a sharp line of distinction between “sporting” and “unsporting” combat (see below). (-1 RP)
Sporting combat includes arm-wrestling, fisticuffs, darts, cards, dice, checkers, chess, billiards, cricket, rugby, skeet shooting, tennis, and golf, alongside tests of boasting, carousing, headbutting, toast-giving, swimming, push-ups, and a complex, ritualized sort of thunderous, unarmed mixed martial-art performed solely while stripped down to breeches & undergarments, usually in ankle-deep to waist-deep water, ending in pin or submission, which -- up to a point -- also serves as a type of flirting.
The military mentality of the giff even makes special allowances for a variety of “sporting” duels to the death. Establishing a proper duel requires a huge number of complex ritual elements that -- in the end -- mostly boils down to both giff formally acknowledging that:
Both giff are armed with approximately the same quality of weapons & armor (warhammer, combat knife, pistol, full plate, etc.)
Both giff have equal access to military support, including healing
Both giff have a grievance, no matter how petty
Both giff are suffering approximately the same level of injuries
Both giff have made arrangements for their estate, and for the treatment of their body after death
Once a “sporting” challenge to the death has been agreed-to by both parties, anything up to and including outright murder of one’s opponent is considered fair game.
Several major holidays each year celebrated by the giff include a “violent dueling festival” as part of their celebration; to outsiders, these events have a very bizarre, genteel, 1800s-Victorian-Teddy-Roosevelt-meets-The-Purge sort of feel to them:
“Happy holidays, friend; best of health this year to you and to your kin. And I say, old chap, don’t suppose it’s high time for a kukri-duel, eh, wot wot? Seeing as you got drunk on my finest brandy, made a pass at the missus, wiped your prodigious buttocks with my table linens, and micturated in my hedge-row as of Christmas last, well ... in lieu of an apology, what say I have Jenkins fetch the carving blades, eh? See which of has the moxie, shall we? Cheerio and have at thee then, old sport?”
If this formal challenge to a lethal sporting-duel is declined, the challenger must make all possible accommodations to guarantee the immediate physical safety of the giff she just challenged (at least until such time as the two giff part ways once more): providing the giff with weapons, armor, food, water, medicine, reading materials, a place to sleep, liquor, smoking tobacco, and anything else a gentleman or lady of high breeding could reasonably expect to have access to (even while imprisoned).
In short: if the challenged giff dies immediately after declining a duel, it is considered very embarrassing for the challenger.
For his own part, the declining giff must treat her challenger with the very utmost level of respect ... or risk being guilty of unsporting conduct, a fate far worse than mere death.
Any giff who finds herself about to violate the terms of properly “sporting” conduct instantly becomes aware of the error, just as if she were wearing a phylactery of faithfulness and, at all times, actively contemplating the thought of doing bodily harm to another giff: this behavioral limitation is not built as a trap for players to accidentally stumble into, but -- instead -- as an interesting roadblock to navigate around.
If two or more giff find themselves forced into a position of armed conflict against one another on a battlefield, both groups traditionally retire for at least a day of drinking and sorting-out ranks; on rare occasion, one platoon will join the other; more likely, all giff involved in any part of the operation will quit their current hirings and look for work elsewhere.
Any giff who engages another member of her own species in any type of unsporting combat -- attacking another giff with a weapon, for example, or with magic -- immediately suffers a -2 penalty on all skill checks, ability checks, attack rolls and saves; she continues to suffer this penalty until such time as she is able to make amends: presenting her victim with a formal written apology, or seeking our her victim’s family to beg their public pardon.
Each month, this penalty increases by 2. Guilt is a poison that grows by degrees, after all: ever-gnawing.
While she is suffering penalties in this way, if the giff is presented with the chance to punish herself – or a non-giff opponent! – while presented with something that reminds the giff of her betrayal, she may find herself compelled to do so regardless of the consequences:
Any time her betrayal is directly brought to her attention, the giff must make a Will save (DC = 10 + her character level + the Charisma modifier of the wronged giff). Failure means that the giff falls into a rage of abject self-loathing, completely focused on her own guilt for a number of rounds equal to the DC, above. Until she has finished with this exercise in hate, the giff can take no action other than to harm the reminder of her failure or enable herself to harm it: grappling a human shipmate who mentioned her old friend so that she might headbutt the human while strangling them, for example, or calmly loading a shotgun so that she might shoot the human dead in cold blood.
Note that the giff, while wracked with guilt & grief, is not required to do anything or harm anyone: she may simply stare at an old photograph and feel sad, for example, ignoring everyone around her.
During the fury of this black tempest, the giff suffers a -2 penalty to her AC.
Once the giff successfully makes amends, either with the wronged party or with the victim’s next-of-kin, all of the above penalties are removed. Entire subsets of giff society -- mediators, arbitrators, and negotiators -- are explicitly adapted to making absolutely certain that any errors in sporting conduct among giff are resolved quickly, and to the satisfaction of all parties.
Should she fail to make amends before her death, any giff who has harmed another giff in an unsporting way invariably rises again as an undead horror of some kind (often a blood knight or graveknight): reborn as a rotting, lurching mountainside of infinitely destructive hated.
Note that the Sporting Racial Trait is not purely social, but rather acts as a species-wide ingrained psychological virtue: two giff living on Fenris who never expect to see the wide rivers of Verdura again are still bound by the rules of “sporting” conflict; neither could shoot the other in the back any more than either of them could grow wings and fly to the moon.
Undead giff do not possess the Sporting Trait, which is seen -- by living giff -- as the most abhorrent and disturbing quality imaginable.
Note, also, that the desire to behave in a sporting manner extends only to fellow giff: Chaotic Evil giff will routinely massacre unarmed non-giff by the thousands, bellowing with laughter as they do so, and even a Lawful Good giff will rarely think twice before sucker-punching a crude human making drunken threats and impolite remarks at the bar.

Giff Ranks: Lieutenant, General, Colonel, Major General, Lieutenant General, Lieutenant Colonel, Captain General, Brigadier General, Field Marshall, Major, Captain, Sergeant Major, Commandant General, Wing General, Lieutenant Colonel General, Staff Sergent, Master Sergent, Master General, Grenadier General; note that “Lord” may be added to any military rank, alongside the designations of “First” and “First Class” (for example, “First Lord Brigadier General First Class”)
Giff military ranks are, effectively, meaningless noise to everyone except the giff themselves: every member of the species is a decorated officer of some complex rank within some elite military company or another, but such ranks are largely ceremonial and may be inherited, purchased, or passed through elaborate, bombastic ritual.
Further, the only thing preventing a young giff from forming an entirely new military organization & immediately naming herself -- of example -- Supreme Acting Field Commander and Secretary General of the Armies and Navies at Wartime is -- up to a point -- her own willingness to do so.
Male Giff Names: Any invented male Hin name.
Female Giff Names: Any invented female Hin name.
Giff Family Names: Any invented male Hin first name
Society
The giff are military-minded, and organize themselves into squads, platoons, companies, corps, and larger groups. The number of giff in a platoon varies according to the season, situation, and level of danger involved.
A giff "platoon" hired to protect a gambling operation may number only a single soldier, while a platoon hired to invade an illithid stronghold may number well over a hundred.
The giff pride themselves on their weapon-skills, and any giff carries a number of swords, daggers, maces, and similar tools on hand to deal with troublemakers.
A giff's true love, however, is the gun. A misfiring weapon matters little to the giff (occasional fatalities amongst soldiery are simply to expected); it is the flash, the noise, and the damage that most impress them.
Even unarmed, the giff are powerful opponents. Against non-giff, they’ll often wade into a brawl just for the pure fun of it, tossing various combatants on both sides around to prove themselves the victors.
Once a weapon is bared, however, and the challenge becomes “unsporting,” the giff consider all restrictions off: the challenge is now to the death.
The giff prize themselves as top-quality mercenaries, and to that end take great pride in owning -- if not always wearing -- elaborate suits of full-plate armor. These suits usually include massive helms featuring hyper-detailed, semi-realistic images of exotic monsters on the crests, inlaid with ivory and bone along the largest plates.
Armor repair is a major hobby among the giff, although great skill at the craft is surprisingly rare.
The giff are deeply suspicious of magic, magicians, and magical devices; their legendary foes, the Five Tiger Princes, are despised for their esoteric abilities as much for their wicked deviltry.

Family
The giff are, for the most part, happiest among fellow members their own race, intermingling broadly with the Ghoran -- whom the giff utilize as an edible, inexhaustible workforce -- and the Tengu: another unofficial “servitor race” of the giff, most often used as messengers and household servants.
Ghoran living on giff lands are stoic: dutifully tending the fields of the giff in exchange for protection from ten-thousand other, vastly more predatory dangers. For all that giff treat the ghoran as disposable -- a ghoran living on Verdura produces one seed each year, and can grow a new member of the species in a single month -- the giff do not want the ghoran hunted to total extermination. That, for the ghoran, is saying something,
Tengu, on the other hand, are deeply prized by the giff as staff, usually in the roles of personal assistants, groomers, decorators, butlers, bartenders, man-servants, attaches, major domos, and maids. Since all giff are “wealthy land owners,” to one degree or another, the true power & prestige of a giff can be accurately measured by the number of tengu he employs.
Giff otherwise consider anything larger than them deeply threatening, yet also complain bitterly -- in private -- about the fragility of the smaller races. Outside their own platoons, the giff are happiest among military organizations with a strong chain of command.
For this reason, giff hold the Church of Yondalla in exceptionally high regard.
Giff especially despise the catfolk: although they don’t speak of it to outsiders, a century ago the giff were on the verge of extinction: hunted for sport and trophy by servants of the Five Tiger Princes, their people nearly cut to nothing and their lands held by only a few remaining families. Since their acquisition of firearms -- and the arrival of the Hin -- the catfolk have broadly retreated.
Every giff -- male, female, and giffling -- has a rank within their greater society, which can only be changed by a giff of higher rank. Within these ranks are sub-ranks, and within those sub-ranks are color-markings and badges. The highest-ranking giff gives the orders, the others obey. It does not matter if the orders are foolish or even suicidal: following them is the purpose of the giff in the universe. A quasi-mystical faith among the giff -- who claim to worship, in a vague way, the Golden General Bahamut, who was killed and eaten by the cowardly Five Tiger Princes in order to steal his strength -- confirms that all things have their place, and the place of the giff to follow orders.
This makes the giff very happy.
Giff platoons can be hired from their sprawling, palatial riverside plantations and mountain hunting-lodges by anyone looking for muscle. The social leaders among the giff are contractors: these specially-trained giff review prospective employers according to ability to pay, then make a recommendation to powerful warlords and famous adventurers among the giff. The leaders, in turn, consider the danger of the job, and whether taking it will enhance their giffdom.
Giff jobs are usually paid in firearms & gunpowder, though they often will accept other weapons and armor. Aboard ship, the giff require their own quarters, and will often request to bring on their own large weapons. They favor fire-projectors and bombards for ground work, and will happily blaze away at opponents regardless of the tactical situation.
The giff require the ships of others because they have -- for the most part -- no spellcasting abilities among them.
Giff of both sexes serve in their platoons, and both fight equally well. Giff young are raised tenderly until they are old enough to survive an exploding arquebus, then are inducted fully into the platoon.
The giff practice equality among the sexes in battle and in childrearing. They live about 70 years, but do not take aging gracefully. As a giff grows older and begins to slow down, he is possessed with the idea of proving himself still young and vital, usually in battle.
As a result, there are very, very few old giff.

Cinderspawn
This tall, gaunt, coal black humanoid flickers with a blue-white flame. It’s bright white eyes gleam with menace. It is crouched down, right arm reaching forward.
Artwork by David Martin, copyright Wizards of the Coast. Accessed from the Libris Mortis art gallery here.
Even elemental beings can die and yet still have their essence carry on beyond that death. While some rebuild their elemental spirit over time, others become infused with negative energy until they are reborn as something living yet dead, a twisted and vengeful remnant of what they once were.
Cinderspawn are fire elementals that guttered out and perished, when they lost one of the three key things a fire needs to survive: heat. Despite abundant fuel and air present to burn, their own burning bodies could not fend off the environment around them and they died. Now they’re reborn, dragging themselves forward in a constant hunt for the heat that wasn’t present at their death, drawing it out from living creatures they encounter in the vain hope that with enough, they’ll be able to live again.
Combating a cinderspawn usually has a stunning twist to those who don’t know what they are. Despite the dreadful chill they radiate and the painful frostbite their touch causes, they actually hate the cold. The chill they produce is from draining away the heat of their surroundings, and in fact heat and fire can invigorate them. To drive off a cinderspawn, you must sap away what little heat is has managed to store, freezing it to its core and destroying it yet again.
5th Edition
Cinderspawn Large undead, chaotic evil Armor Class 15 Hit Points 110 (13d10 + 39) Speed 50 ft. The cinderspawn is treated as both an elemental and an undead creature by spells and other effects. Fire Absorption. Whenever the cinderspawn is subjected to fire damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the fire damage dealt. Frostfire Shield. A creature that touches the cinderspawn or hits it with melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 4 (1d8) cold damage. Actions Multiattack. The cinderspawn makes two touch attacks. Touch. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 19 (4d6+5) cold damage and the target must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or have disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks for one minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
13th Age
Cinderspawn 3rd level troop [elemental and undead] Initiative: +9 Vulnerability: cold Chilling touch +8 vs. PD - 10 cold damage Natural 16+: The target is dazed (save ends). Melee freeze: When an enemy makes a natural odd melee attack roll against the cinderspawn, that attacker takes 1d8 cold damage. Resist fire 18+: When a fire attack targets the cinderspawn, the attacker must roll a natural 18+ on the attack roll or it only deals half damage. If the attack roll is a natural 10 or less, the cinderspawn heals for 1d6 damage before taking any damage from the attack. AC 18 PD 18 MD 14 HP 38
At the height of his power, the Lich King can corrupt the very elements. Whatever their nature as spirits of nature or magic harnessing aspects of the elements, when infused with the magic of undeath they can yet again return, as is the case with the dreadful cinderspawn. Thus far only the weakest of elementals have been reanimated in this way, but if the Lich King can figure out how to create more powerful cinderspawn this could be dreadful for the High Druid and the Emperor.

Parame talk! (since my madd had been so loud lately I might just introduce one of them)
Saoirse H. Jørgendottir
The recent parame I have because Fairy Tail and AC Valhalla heat collided.
She's one of the perhaps, the longest silent family dynasty ever lived on which over 1000 years, doing their own stuff.
The reason I named her first name an Irish name and her surname a Nordic name because she's from a made-up Nordic tribe that is equivalent of Viking that migrated to Ireland way before Viking founded Dublin.
If you're familiar with the tattoo, yes. She's a Jellal counterpart. The thing is, she ain't no ordinary counterpart, she's our world counterpart. Real world counterpart.
She's aware of Fairy Tail and its fandom (Don't ask how she felt.)
And so does other counterparts because every acquaintances of them gonna be like,"hey this person looks like you! "
She's basically a crackhead compared to his other 2 counterparts because she's do something that other 2 can't do.
10 years older than Mystogan and Jellal (other 2).
Taller than the other 2 (About 5 inches taller).
The tattoo is a tradition for the tribe to have and every adolescent will get it when they are 9 years of age. But EU declared a ban on the tribe to ever have the tattoo on their face (Child Abuse they said). Saoirse is the last generation to have it.
Paracosm setting
It was set in 2038 where Saoirse is 38 years old but her face says opposite.
The world: Our world. Real world. They existed somewhere and they are good in hiding.
Somewhere in small town in Ireland in Connacht province. (again made up)
Paras
Unlike her counterparts, the timeline in Real-World is frenzy little bit when it comes to social circle. All Fairy Tail characters/members are all appear in the same time right? For Saoirse, very unlikely. Due to the consequences of time, events, places they are in, all of them are not appeared at the same time.
That means, your Jerza ship ain't gonna sail this world. The Erza's counterpart or I called her Kassandra(because Irene is a gamer) ,are nowhere exist until year 2036, two years ago in the timeline setting. Or more likely, almost none of the big 4 are gonna sail in this world because? Consequences of time and events.
-I think that's all from my parame,Saoirse. She was reborn during AC Valhalla heat and the adrenaline of FT I had a month ago. She's not supposed to be someone whose tribes is equal to Viking. She was a pure Irish person at first but then AC Valhalla happened and Fairy Tail adrenaline I had and it happened at the same day so it was collided and Saoirse was reborn.

Who can relate? #2
So people always tell me that I rant too much, and I am not that prideful to tell them wrong, because I am.
My main issue with Natsu from Fairy Tail is that his character is bland and pales in comparison to his peers, both in the anime itself and in the world of shonen. Why? Because of his ridiculously cliche backstory that can be seen in 50% of movies and shows nowadays (albeit their foster parent wasn’t a dragon or anything, but you get the idea), and his lack of struggle as an individual.
First, let’s talk about his backstory:
Tumblr media
I don’t like how his backstory seems more relevant than the other characters simply because he’s the protagonist. He was basically just left by his foster father FOR HIS OWN GOOD! Erza had that traumatic experience at the TOH, and Gray witnessed the death of his parents and his teacher/foster mother, while the main protagonists themselves have the typical parent issues of being left or neglected and it just seems so redundant compared to the others. In the scope of the 4 members of Team Natsu alone, Natsu’s backstory has already been overshadowed and it makes his background dull compared to legendary shonen MCs like Naruto (messed-up townspeople who treated him like shit and the circumstances that led to his parent’s death), Ichigo (his mother’s death), and Luffy (Ace’s death). I know that basing the suave of a character’s backstory based on trauma involving death is just low, but it certainly is more interesting than a father who left you to protect you. Heck, isn’t the whole show about his bonds with his “new family”? If you think about it, if Igneel hadn’t left Natsu to his own devices, Natsu wouldn’t have joined FT and lived an even more holistic life there. Suddenly, Igneel leaving him doesn’t seem so bad anymore, but it is made to look that way just to spice up this decrepit backstory more. I am not trying to discount or degrade the issues of child neglect or abandonment here, but in the context of a supposed “world of adventure”, this seems very realistic and it lacks character. I would’ve liked to have seen the backstories of other characters instead, maybe like the other Spriggans, or the Raijinshuu. This would’ve put things into perspective more for me.
I know that he has a history of being reborn as a demon, but did he really suffer any emotional scars from that? He did die in his previous life, but he doesn’t even remember that anymore. His backstory with Zeref was introduced a little too late. By the time it was exposed, fans had already been burnt out and riddled with so many other more pressing events. Heck, Natsu isn’t that special if you factor in the fact that 4 other dragon slayers are as old as him. Usually, authors would try to flesh out or single out a special feature their MCs have so that their protagonist would be more likable and respectable since the anime should revolve around them (that’s why they’re the MC), but everything special about Natsu gets downgraded. Left by his foster parent? He’s not the only one. Died once and was reincarnated as a monster? Redundant and didn’t really feel it; Irene’s backstory was more interesting than the entire build-up for Natsu’s.
Tumblr media
I know it’s arguable that Natsu is not the MC of Fairy Tail, but FT does satisfy typical shonen tropes, and I don’t buy for one second that Lucy is the MC. I see her more as the deuteragonist, in the sense that while the story does its best to revolve around her, it’s Natsu who Mashima focuses on more. Hey, every shonen needs to have a poster boy. It wouldn’t be an action series without adhering to the stereotype of guys being more action-inclined than girls.
It just seems that for every achievement Natsu does or every interesting backstory he has, it immediately gets overshadowed by another character’s. Most common example of this is Erza. Her backstory and trauma easily trumps Natsu’s and when she does something awesome, the whole world stops spinning to congratulate her and praise her as the “mightiest woman in FT” or the “Queen of the Fairies”, but when Natsu defeats the final boss, we didn’t see him get recognized by the Magic Council at least, or revered as a formidable mage. In the 100 YQ sequel, praise may be thrown his way, but not as much as one would expect from the MC who finished off the final boss. He still has a habit of being overpowered by big enemies and even those guys from the dragon-slayer guild were able to make him look insignificant for a moment there. Coming from the guy who beat Zeref and controlled the power of 7 dragon slaying magic to defeat Acnologia, you would’ve expected him to easily wipe the floor with normal mages, right? I mean, if it was Zeref or maybe even Neinhart (who Natsu also beat) who fought those dragon slayers, it’s highly unlikely they would get overpowered, right?
In the end, he just seems so dull as a character and would have been better off playing a minor role. At least that way he would be more respectable if he is subjugated to a less series-revolving role.
I know this rant just seems like I am trying to get attention here, and I can’t say I am fully denying that, but I just really wanted to let this out of my chest, no matter the backlash I receive. I just want some sort of validation, it’s human nature, y’know. This is JUST MY OPINION, so if you have a problem with it, please tell me instead and don’t just simply roast me like a troll. Let’s be civil here, yeah?

Runclus Malevol
Tumblr media
“Druid” © Vladimir Matyukhin, accessed at his ArtStation here
[The last of my menagerie of Malevols for now. My PCs never encountered Runclus, but were definitely tempted to explore the Indoornesse when they found the portal. Maybe some day.]
Runclus Malevol CR 12 NE Humanoid This humanoid figure is clothed in flowing robes and leather armor. He wears an elaborate crown of leather and bone, all but obscuring his face.
Runclus Malevol, the Man of the Woods, is the most powerful living Malevol, although “living” has an asterisk in this case. Runclus is one of Aristide’s children, and he has died and been reborn repeatedly—whenever he survives long enough to become very old, he ritually kills himself and is reborn into a young body. Runclus has lived 23 lives so far, and this latest body is actually close in appearance and build to his original. Still, he typically conceals his form with flowing robes and a great mask, the better to cast doubt on whether he is alive or dead, both or neither.
Runclus is usually found in the Indoornesse, a pocket dimension accessible primarily through Castle Xyntillian’s extensive basements. Runclus knows other paths in and out, and uses them to collect up a cadre of sinister druids, and to introduce new monsters into the ecosystem. Once these monsters have been thoroughly vetted in the Indoornesse, some of them move up into the Castle grounds proper. Runclus is a devout follower of Lamashtu. He has successfully converted several of his family members to the worship of the Mother of Monsters.
In combat, Runclus typically uses his spells to inflict debilitating diseases or curses on enemies before killing them outright. Although he is a decent melee combatant in his own right, he rarely fights hand to hand unless bolstered with spells, having used his wild shape, or both. Runclus does not fear death in combat, as he has died before; if he is slain, however, he pivots to a more cautious strategy, and remains hidden until his many lives ability has recharged.

If he is killed during these 7 days, she remains dead and does not reincarnate. The many lives ability does not function if the reincarnated druid is slain by a death effect. A reincarnated druid cannot be raised from the dead or resurrected, though he can be reincarnated. Mysterious Stranger (Ex) Runclus Malevol adds +6 to the DC of Sense Motive, Diplomacy, and Knowledge checks to learn about him. Resist Death’s Touch (Ex) Runclus gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against death effects, energy drain, and necromancy effects, and on stabilization checks when dying.

Lucy Heartfilia: Fairy Tail's resident Celestial Spirit Mage who is currently in love with the Guild's own Fire Dragon Slayer.

Suberashi: A ancient, powerful, and fabled Guild straight from legends. Only, now, it's no longer fabled, nor does 'just a children's fairy tale' quite fit the reality of their sudden presence.

Bonus Prompt 1 of FT Angst Week: Ever After/ Perfect Disaster Once upon a time there lived a star that had seen it all, and boy who could see the stars… Who would’ve thought that their paths would cross?
what’s the big deal? (Explicit) by julamei
Natsu's sexual awakening is... clumsy and awkward, obviously. The poor boy has purposefully remained ignorant of these more mundane, human miracles. that is, until something happens he can't ignore and things between him and Lucy being to grow. Here is my headcannon on their journey around the bases (hopefully this reflects more our own experiences than just our need for fulfillment for these characters).
Hunter (M) by Freyjabee  (No longer available?)
Natsu and Lucy follow some dangerous hunters into a city housing sin. While one is desperate to leave, the other can't help but stay.
A Lesson for Natsu (M) by aeotae
Despite the injustice of it all, the men of Fairy Tail endeavor to prepare Natsu for his new manly duty as Lucy's boyfriend.
I have a lot more so let me know if anyone wants more recommendations.

Video
CADENZA - NO DRAMA ft. AVELINO, ASSASSIN from pussykrew on Vimeo.
Our aim was to create a piece beyond the standard performance video. We presented the artists as 3D scans and fused them with digitally created environment. The vibe of the track is intense, bit aggressive. We were trying to recreate this atmosphere as a visual experience and produce powerful imagery, where the invisible violence is transformed into personal strength. The video may seem dark at first, but this darkness is not hopeless, it’s a state of matter where one can be reborn and reclaim their mastery. We were envisioning an aftermath of a battle, some sort of weird cathartic occurrence. We decided to put the strong female characters at the front of the piece, as we thought they would be the best at translating the energy of the song and convey the message we wanted to communicate through the video. We feel that our work reflects the nature of current times in many ways, filtering everyday experiences and global issues into painting-like scenes.

What the hell!  I’m just going to start another FST Analysis since I dropped them last year.  This one is one I’m just putting the finishing touches on and is a bit of a massive one due to all the moving parts and me being too lazy to try and cut!  As in, a massive, 30 song FST!  And I might add the bonus tracks or do another FST for them as they tangentially relate but not exactly.
The name of the FST is “Reborn Love” and it’s for Lufia and the first game’s hero.  Who I will call “Max” for all of these because I want to give him SOME name and no matter what references were made, neither Neverland nor Taito gave him one!
You know the drill by now!  Today I post a nice little list of songs and what they relate to in the game’s story.  Tomorrow, I start actual lyric analysis.
01.  Enrique Iglesias--Hero 02.  Bangles--Eternal Flame 03.  Genesis--Follow You, Follow Me 04.  Garth Brooks--She’s Every Woman 05.  Blake Shelton ft. Gwen Stefani--Nobody But You Some general love songs that fit at a point BEFORE Lufia lost her memory.  I started with them because you can think of this as their peaceful life in Alekia before Gades crashed down in Sheran and started blowing things up!
06.  Vance Joy--We’re Going Home 07.  Dragonforce--Dawn Over a New World 08.  A Newfound Glory--Glory of Love 09.  Coldplay--A Sky Full of Stars 10.  Pillar--Frontline Some general songs that make me think of them while on the journey, both romance and the actual battles they face!
11.  Ace of Base--Edge of Heaven 12.  Backstreet Boys--As Long as you Love Me 13.  Breaking Benjamin--Dance With the Devil 14.  Evanescence--Bring Me to Life 15.  Evanescence--My Last Breath Lufia’s memories, her entrapment by them, her rescue, and her death.  And while I don’t like having two songs by the same artist right next to each other, I feel “Bring Me to Life” is the perfect song for the part of her that remained while Erim nearly overwhelmed her, which was calling out to Max, thus it needing to be the penultimate song.  While “My Last Breath” just fits well with the scene post-Guard Daos as she’s fading away.
16.  Avril Lavigne--Slipped Away 17.  Lady Antabellum--What if I Never Get Over You 18.  Vertical Horizon--Forever 19.  Evanescence--My Immortal 20.  Maroon 5--Memories 21.  Breaking Benjamin--Without You Max in the year between final battle and ending.  Notice the plethora of sad songs (in fact, I was having a Lufia moment while supervising a gym class when I first heard “Memories” and it kinda kickstarted the idea for the FST as I’d had my mind on “Max is depressed due to losing her” at that moment).
22.  Creed--My Sacrifice 23.  Phil Phillips--Home 24.  Skid Row--I Remember You 25.  Snow Patrol--Chasing Cars 26.  Stained--So Far Away 27.  Savage Garden--I Knew I Loved You 28.  Nikki Williams--Glowing 29.  Ed Sheeran--Perfect 30.  Shaniah Twain--From This Moment On (duet version) The songs after Max is reunited with his beloved.  Those feelings in his heart, how she knows he’s the one despite her amnesia.  Full of feels!
I might afterwards put together a short one full of bonus tracks that I felt were more from Erim’s POV than either Max or Lufia.  Because hey!  I have my joke of her thirst for redheads and I’m sticking to it!
