📚 Wherever Saturn is, you are denied by the themes of that house. Ex: Saturn in the 4th house natives may feel like they have no family supports, be homeless literally or metaphorically. Saturn in the 7th house natives may be single for a long time. Saturn in the 8th house may help a person avoid injuries and delay death lmao.

📝 6th house placements may struggle with physical and mental health issues 😷. Ex: Vincent Van Gogh (Moon, Jupiter, and Chiron in the 6th house)

✒️ The danger of Neptune is to make you believe there's no danger in order to lure you in or get you addicted to it. An unknowingly happy death.

Mars in the 2nd house is very possessive

Moon Aquarius is easy to sympathize with those around, although they may have many bad qualities, they will often be ignored by people because of their support in the team. Some in this group when they don't like someone and hate openly can easily recognize their feelings, these people can play bad tricks like using crowds, councils to bully

Here are some of the positions that I don't like very much, doesn't mean they will all be the same and I hate everyone with this aspect, it just brings some difficulties and disadvantages, takes a lot of time time to recognize and transform it:

1. Moon Square/Opposite Pluto: often emotionally volatile and explosive, has difficulty controlling anger, may experience more bad luck with women

2. Moon square / Opposite Uranus: actually this is one of the most horrible corners for me because as far as I know and actually it means about their separation from the mother physically or mentally

3. Venus square/opposite Mars: causes sexual attraction but often changes partners too quickly and gets nowhere

4. Mars Libra: passive in problem solving. The house in this position plays an important role, like the one who moves the pieces tactically. I think it is necessary to add other angles to strengthen this position, especially Pluto to increase ambition and determination.

5. Venus Gemini: often emotional, easy to play emotional roller coaster with others, unpredictable, interesting, but for me this is not a very good position in love, they easily find it difficult. hard to find the right person

6. Moon square/Opposite Saturn: often encounters problems in childhood such as abandonment, working in a difficult, deprived environment, shouldering responsibility, loneliness; They have quite a lot of psychological damage, rarely share, confide, and find it difficult to open their hearts to others. When they learn to be less strict with themselves and learn to accept and love themselves, the door in their souls will lead them to the good things that are waiting for them on the other side of their hearts.

❣️Venus conjunct Moon

I cannot stress enough how much I love Venus conjunct Moon aspects in synastry. It's so so wholesome. You instantly trust each other and there's so much of care and understanding between the two of you. Even in my close friendships, this is a really beautiful aspect to have because there's so much of empathy and love and something just clicks between you two, especially a tighter orb. Venus person sees right through the Moon person and the Moon person can express themselves freely and openly, being at their most vulnerable without worry about judgement.

❣️Moon opposite Moon

So hear me out... I know this might be controversial but I love this aspect so much. Two people who are so different in so many ways but at the core, they're the same. They can learn so much from each other, especially if they both have the patience to. This is a ride or die pair who are super drawn to each other and constantly find themselves in the other person's presence. My personal favourites that I've seen are cancer/capricorn and libra/aries. This can also work well for Sun opposite Sun.

❣️Venus conjunct Pluto

So this might also be a controversial one lol. It's tethering dangerous territory, honestly because it can get obsessive really quickly and as a result turn toxic but, if both individuals are mature enough, this is unconditional love and devotion to each other and a magnetic attraction, where the couple cannot keep their hands off of each other. This can work really well imo if as I said, two of them are mature enough and there are other good aspects to support this.

❣️Venus opposite Uranus

I call this one my "love at first sight" aspect. It's so so magnetic and the two are so drawn to each other, there's a pull they can't explain and they're completely fascinated by the other person. It can get unpredictable especially with Uranus being unpredictable paired with Venus who wants stability. I do like this aspect though especially, again, if paired with other good ones because it can be so exciting, constantly keeping the other person on their toes.

❣️Mercury trine/sextile Mars

The two bond over common interests and can stimulate each other's minds comfortably. They're the adventurous couple, always coming up with new and random dates where other people would be like??? seriously?? I remember having this with an ex and our idea of a fun date was reading our books together, which other people found strange but it's because we bonded over a common interest. This couple rarely falls into a monotonous routine and always tries to keep life exciting.

❣️Sun sextile/trine Jupiter

This couple loves being in each other's presence and always finds themselves in a good mood when the other person is around, especially for the Sun person when Jupiter person is around them. They're understanding of each other's flaws and can focus on the bigger picture rather than being too nit picky and irritating the other person.

❣️Jupiter sextile/trine Neptune

Apparently this is rare? I'm not entirely sure as I've only heard that recently but I suppose it's because Neptune spends a while in each sign? In any case I did have this aspect once with a partner. They're so generous and supportive of one another's goals and dreams, jupiter constantly uplifting and encouraging Neptune and Neptune inspiring Jupiter. Lovely spiritual and idealogical growth can be achieved with this aspect.

❣️Saturn trine Sun

Having good Saturn aspects in synastry is very important in my opinion because Saturn does dictate the longevity of a relationship and it represents karma. It's not to say if there's bad aspects, the relationship won't work out, but it certainly wont help, which is why Harmonious aspects here are important. There's a good balance with this aspect and mutual effort towards the relationship, paired with loyalty and confidence. You see this aspect a lot with married couples.

❣️Ascendent conjunct Sun

They find a lot in common with each other and have a lot of respect and admiration for the other person. Also something I see in either longer friendships or romantic relationships. I have this with my best friend as well. There's just similar goals and mindsets and the two can work in beautiful harmony together. There's strong physical attraction too in romantic relationships and some people also call this one the "love at first sight". They both wish to be like each other.

❣️Venus conjunct Mars

Talk about sexual attraction... this is Instantaneous "I want to rip your clothes off right here right now". There's strong romantic and sexual attraction and this aspect ensures sex life can never get boring between the two especially paired with other Harmonious aspects. This can work well platonically too because it can be exciting. This is a classic aspect for synastry I think a lot of astrologers love.

THE YOD ASPECT PATTERN

I know there isn’t a lot of information out there on Yods (AKA- Gods pointing finger, Finger of fate, etc) and I’ve had a heap of requests to make a post on this fairly rare aspect pattern. I plan on going further in-depth with Yods at a later date but for now, this is what I know…

The Yod in astrology is often found in the charts of people whose lives are colored by intensity and constant adjustment.

Yods symbolize patterns in families that have lasted for generations. Carriers of the “Finger of Fate” can also feel insecure or have trouble expressing themselves and they may often find themselves in unusual situations. People with Yods in their chart have a restlessness, like a sense of their unique purpose and a calling to be their authentic selves at any expense.

The discomfort of a Yod tends to manifest more in the mental and emotional realms. Yod people may always feel like some crucial understanding or piece of information is missing—one that would help transcend the irritating sense that things are not quite as they should be.

April 2025 Important Dates

AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's April forecast. This month's forecast notes are a little late, due in no small part to the eclipse at the end of March--Chris and Austin wanted to record as far away from the eclipse as they could for electional & mundane reasons, and I in turn was too busy to sit down and take notes on the 31st itself or the following week! As such I'll be skipping the March recap for this month (interested parties can watch the video linked above).

We entered the month fresh off the Aries eclipse, with its effects lasting into around the 5th of the month. The energy of major endings and beginnings in our lives is strongly in effect. Neptune has also just entered Aries after about 14 years in Pisces. Here's a visualization of "eclipse season" below:

April 4th - Saturn sextile Uranus Experimental Uranus and careful Saturn rarely work together well, but a sextile might be the perfect aspect to help us balance new endeavors with what's tried and true. Mercury and Venus's stations next week in late Pisces will reactivate this sextile as well.

April 7th - Retrograde Venus opposes Saturn, Mercury stations direct Mercury and Venus have started stationing direct and have just barely begun to be visible after sunrise (after they were being obscured by the eclipse!). Venus will emerge from the underworld to a place of power in her sign of exaltation, while Mercury isn't in as good shape--Pisces is their fall and exile, so if communications clear it's still a lot of work. Austin says Mercury "returns from the underworld confused and hungover to a bunch of weird emails."

April 12th - Full Moon in Libra, Venus stations direct The first lunation after eclipses will really start to bring things back to normal, especially with Venus going direct into a place of power in her exaltation. With Venus ruling the Moon, things should be set up for going forward and healing, but Mars in Cancer is still throwing a tantrum in the background, firing some warning shots before he enters Leo. Here's the chart:

April 16th - Mercury enters Aries

April 17th - Mercury conjunct Neptune

April 18th - Mars enters Leo Mars was last here back in the fall before retrograding into Cancer and bringing a cranky, childish, conservative mess to us the last few months. Conjunctions ☌

conjunctions are your shadow.. its right there but its behind you, you sense that something is there, that something is wrong but you can’t really see it.

in traditional astrology, conjunctions involving the sun are known as combust and said to burn up // overpower the energy of that planet. natal sun conjunct mercury means the mind is on fire 🔥 and the native can rarely shut off their own mind and nervous system. conjunctions have a more negative connotation in traditional astrology but in modern western astrology, it’s more about a major blind spot — similar to how a horse can’t see its own nose.

someone with sun conjunct mars is just as defiant, intolerant and over confident as someone with sun square mars but they do not receive as much (if any) push back. they do not get confronted about their behaviors but rather people avoid them.

with conjunctions we are a permanent werewolf and we might not ever realize how we’ve been acting until we look at the wake of our actions and the people we’ve hurt.

people with a lot of conjunctions can only see what they’ve done wrong in retrospect. they are not good as self reflection because there is nothing reflected until enough people have left our lives and we are stuck wondering why we have a lack of connection.

Energy Update: Solar Eclipse 21° Libra, 10/14/2023

Note: I've talked about eclipses many times before. I am going to make reference to past posts but try not to cross over too much of the same ground again. Please reference this post for more information.

On Saturday 10/14, we will experience a partial solar eclipse at 21° Libra. This is our first solar eclipse since the lunar nodes switched to the Aries-Libra axis during the month of July. In this way, this is a highly significant lunar event that will set the tone for the eclipse seasons to come over the next two and a half years.

The Set Up

October is an "8" month in a "7" year. During the eclipse, the Sun, Moon, and Mercury will be conjunct in Libra, Venus will be in Virgo, Mars in Scorpio, retrograde Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, and Pluto in Capricorn. The asteroid Chiron is sitting in conjunction with our North Node in the sign of Aries. All of our outer planets will be in retrograde motion except for Pluto who stationed direct the Tuesday beforehand.

There are a number of transits in play during this lunar event:

Stellium: Sun, Moon, Mercury, and the South Node in Libra (5° orb)

Solar eclipse square Pluto in Capricorn (6° orb)

Mercury in Libra opposed to Chiron in Aries (01° orb)

Venus in Virgo opposed retrograde Saturn in Pisces (04° orb, exact Tuesday)

When determining the significance of transits, one should consider the most exact transits and all transits involving the lunar event to be highly significant. Second to that, we take into account aspects to our personal planets. Outer planet aspects will color the general feel of the day but will, for the most part, not impact our individual lives.

In this way, we should note a strong opposition between the stellium of our Sun, Moon, Mercury, and the South Node in Libra and Chiron and the North Node in Aries. Additionally, both Venus and Mars are in aspect with Saturn, our planet of restriction and boundaries.

The Nitty Gritty

This solar eclipse will have mixed energy as it combines the energy of new beginnings from the new moon with endings due to its conjunction with the South Node. There is a lot of pain close to the surface which may be stopping us from stepping forward into the new beginning that we are looking for (Chiron conjunct the North Node). This is your cosmic reminder that pain isn't always the STOP sign that we think it is, but instead is more of a check engine light.

Pain tells us that there is something that needs attention.

You may be holding on to something too tightly. Both Venus in Virgo and Mars in Scorpio will be in tight aspect with retrograde Saturn all week. Saturn is often known as the planet of restriction, but this is because he is Father Time. Saturn, like the lunar nodes, is closely associated with the concept of fate - but fate very rarely means what you think that it does. Time is relentless, always marching onwards. If the old adage is the only inevitabilities are death and taxes, Saturn controls both. Saturn is the reminder that as time goes on, some of the options that we kept on the back burner slip away.

Every opportunity in your life has a limited half-life. We just can't do everything. Eventually, we need to choose.

That's where the lunar eclipses come in. Everything is a choice; but eventually, if you don't make a choice, the world moves on. There is an element of analysis paralysis at play here (Libra's greatest weakness) - somebody needs to shit or get off of the pot, metaphorically speaking.

Eclipses are the Big Hitter transits of the year - they tend to feel so far beyond us that it can be overwhelming. Sometimes it can feel easiest to run from this energy or to disassociate and hide your head in the sand. That's not an option when Saturn is in play - Saturn demands that you put in the work in your own life.

It won't feel comfortable for anyone, but those who are showing up, who are trying to make changes, who are keeping their eyes wide open and witnessing their own life - those are the people who will shine through this lunation.

This isn't to say that they will be able to control how the eclipses show up in their lives. Eclipses are wild card energy; the best we can do is enjoy the ride. But if you've made right in your life, if you know what you need to let go of and what you need to draw in - you may recognize it when eclipses give you what you need.

The same old eclipse advice is in play here: Stay VERY AWARE of what doors open and close for you during the upcoming eclipses and the two weeks between these lunar events. Eclipses have a way of aligning you toward your life path (astrology is, in essence, a study of who you are and what you were born to experience in this lifetime). This isn't as restrictive an idea as people would like to believe: there is no one way to walk your "life path" - you always have free will and choice. Still, the natal birth chart especially does highlight the parts of life where you will find the most rich and meaningful experiences.

As the eclipse falls on the Aries-Libra axis, we all - collectively and personally - are struggling in some fashion with the conflict between being true to ourselves (Aries) versus being part of the collective (Libra). With Chiron so tightly in play, we can see that pain is close to the surface. You may find yourself questioning some things you were taught as a child by your family, religious group, or culture - especially if you are undergoing a Saturn return, square, or opposition.

Aries teaches us that it is right - even holy - to be our own true selves. The pain of this individualization process is being highlighted by Chiron and the North Node's conjunction in the sign of the Ram. Chiron shows us that it hurts while the North Node reminds us that we should do it anyway. The one person that you always need to be accountable to is yourself. (Libras especially may find that idea triggering)

In a very triggery week, it is worth remembering that triggers can be sacred things too - they show us the parts of ourselves that need attention. If you are in a space where it is safe to do so, try leaning into the pain rather than away from it. There is a lot to uncover in the weeds during this time.

There is no easy this week. Life is just like that sometimes. Practice your very best self-care if you need it. This energy will lift at the end of the month after we go through our eclipsed Scorpio full moon the weekend before Halloween.

Transiting Mars enters Sagittarius

You know - there probably is no placement with better intentions than Mars in Sagittarius. They always mean so well! But we all know what the road to hell is (said to be) paved with, right?

This whole transit seems to me to be all about showing us where we’re being officious, interfering, and meddlesome - where we tend to jump right on in without checking first - where we skydive (and not merely jump) to conclusions. If we’re on some high-faluting cockamamie quest, too, it is likely to be pointed out to us during this time. How it manifests in Mars’ areas:

Physical strength - maybe we think we gently shut that door, but the broken window pane says otherwise. Or, we aren’t realistic about how much we can actually do, and quickly burn out &/or injure ourselves.

Energy levels - as with Mars in any mutable sign, this will fluctuate. At times we’re raring to go; at other times we drop in our tracks from exhaustion.

Sexuality - can be very gallant and chivalrous and romantic, but watch out for those stamina levels.

How we go after what we want - we tend to make a big deal out of it. Always more into the pursuit than the actual capture. Now that you have it, what are you going to do with it?

Wednesday, January 3 - Mars/Sagittarius semi-sextile Pluto/Capricorn, 29°26’. These two are approaching their conjunction (which aspect happens about every two years). We have some intimations about how our Mars expression will “power up” a level.

Let me add that Mars’ next transit, though Capricorn, has plenty of blessings and opportunities - and, Mars works very well when he’s in Capricorn, the sign of his exaltation.

Ok so this is interesting! The con is October 12th-13th which is a Friday the 13th! But get this, this is what’s projected for the 13th: mars trine Saturn rx (Scorpio-Pisces 1 degree).

A perfect day to sign a contract, and in so doing, solidly a new relationship that is likely to grow to be productive, stimulating, lucrative and enjoyable.

AND the next day:

October 14th- new moon solar eclipse in Libra at 21 degrees.

A new partnership or collaboration can be now possible- in love (marriage) or career. Details may take time to iron out. Venus will take center stage and will oppose Saturn so the alliance will grow slowly. Mars, friendly to Saturn, promises progress. Uranus + Pluto also in rare agreement. Suggest a surprisingly strong financial outcome.

So I’ll take a minute to do a little post on this, since you’re inspiring me. It’s really important when you’re looking at transits that you’re not just looking at what this sky is doing with itself, you also need to look at what it’s doing with someone’s chart- whoever’s chart you’re looking at -in this particular case the eclipse is happening in libra in the 12th house whole signs. You can see it on the left there; an eclipse is when the full moon or the new moon is conjunct the nodes. In this case it’s the new moon conjunct the south node there in libra. Mercury is also there and so is Mars, so these are also significant and will play a factor in the interesting things going on with his chart. The first thing I see is these transit are right on top of his Pluto and Juno. They are trining his Sun and they’re sextile his Neptune.  The important takeaway here for this eclipse is that it’s going to give positive influence to who he is in his Sun, and who he’s seen as in his Neptune; he’s going to have a light shown on these aspects of him and they’re going to ignite his desire to be seen authentically, and in particular with Uranus sitting on his Chiron like that, it’s gonna matter a lot how he’s seen online. Uranus is inconjunct his Juno-Pluto so he’s not happy right now with the perception of him online as it particularly relates to his choices in partner. 

The Pluto Juno conjunction that he has in Libra, I have always read as the transformative nature of either his wife, or search his for his wife and the harmony it has with who he is- his Sun -and his public image- his Neptune. The transiting eclipse is going to ignite that, so this is a significant moment for him in his journey to meet his partner.

When doing these calendars, frequently the astrologers will just put one thing going on for the day but you need to remember that usually, unless it’s the Moon, the thing you’re talking about is going on for more than a day. Like the interactions with Saturn and Mars; it’s going to be going on for a while because Mars doesn’t move that fast to fall out of the trine in a day. As you can see, there’re a lot of other things that these two are hitting in the position that they’re in. For instance, Mars is also square in his south node, which Pluto is sitting right on top of and has been for a while. It’s forming a trine to his mercury, it’s squaring his north node, it’s ‘bending the nodes’, and Saturn in turn, is squaring his Mars, squaring his Uranus and ascendant, and trining his mercury. So there are a lot of things going on in his chart specifically that aren’t happening just with this Saturn-Mars interaction here. The most important thing is that they’re both positively aspecting Mercury. Which means that he’s going to get a boost and a drive to speak his truth, to think about his passions and his karma positively. Saturn squaring his Mars and his Uranus-AC conjunction is going to really drive him to be himself and to be authentic in who he is and the way that Mars is bending the nodes is going to really get him thinking and acting towards his purpose, which Pluto’s already doing also by sitting on the south node, but this is gonna be a more agitating factor versus Pluto’s transformative control of the south node that’s a more supportive, stabilizing thing.

Libra in particular is a sign about fairness and balance. It’s not a coincidence that Justice in reverse came up in that reading that I did. The concept of fairness and balance is a very big thing for him right now.  justice is some thing that he wants in his life and will seek out. This is the time for him to be himself, to come in to his purpose, to be authentic in who he is and how he’s perceived, to move forward with what he wants and what drives him into coming to his transformation. All of the major, supporting planets are set up to help him do that and to agitate him so that he will want to do that.

conjunct mercury~ moon: This is a pretty amazing aspect to start off with! It indicates that you and Ricky will have excellent communication in your relationship, most of this comes from the fact that you understand each other on an incredibly deep and intuitive.
