To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show, a lyrical version was staged at the Wilfrid Pelletier Hall in Montreal before moving to the Palais des Congrès in Paris, then returning to Canada at the Festival d’été of Québec and the Grand Théâtre

For the first time Starmania will be performed in Korea in Seoul for three performances (The Korean audience followed with subtitles)

Performed from 2004 to 2008 this version will return with the same performers in 2016 (without making too much noise or publicity)

Now, only a miracle can keep the club in contention for a top-six finish—something which they have never achieved since their inception in the ISL. The Red and Gold Brigade began the season with high hopes, making some big moves in the summer transfer window. In fact, they were the second-most active club in the window. Among their key signings were Dimitrios Diamantakos, the top-scorer of the previous ISL season, and Madih Talal, the league’s highest assist provider. However, neither has lived up to expectations. As the ISL league stage nears its conclusion, East Bengal finds itself languishing in 11th place with just 18 points from 19 games. If we look back to analyse their underwhelming campaign, one of the biggest takeaways is the underperformance of their foreign recruits. In the ISL, foreign players are brought in with the expectation of making a difference, supported by the domestic squad. However, none of East Bengal’s overseas signings have met those expectations. Unfortunately the overseas players of East Bengal weren’t up to the mark. “The Indian players are playing really well. We all know foreigners are the key to any team. So, as your foreigners are not doing well, the whole team is suffering” Former Brazilian footballer, Douglas Silva, who also played for East Bengal, commented on the foreigners in the side, after the game against Chennaiyin FC. Diamantakos: The Greek striker has scored just three goals in ISL 2023-24. This is a stark contrast to his previous two seasons, where he was a lethal goal machine for Kerala Blasters, scoring 23 goals and providing 6 assists. Despite high hopes, his impact at East Bengal has been minimal. His only real success has come in the AFC Challenge Cup, where he has netted four goals in three appearances. But in the ISL, he has struggled to find his rhythm. However Oscar Bruzon is still optimistic about his comeback “Diamantakos is a box player, he has to be there, and the moment he scores one goal, I’m sure that he’s going to turn it around, change the luck, and get a good run of goals.” Cleiton Silva: Another foreigner who has suffered a drastic dip in form. Cleiton, a fan favorite, had scored 20 goals in the last two ISL seasons. However, in the current campaign, he has failed to score a single goal, registering just two assists. His struggles, combined with Diamantakos’ poor form, explain why East Bengal is struggling near the bottom of the table. To address these woes, East Bengal brought in two new foreign attackers: Richard Celis and Raphaël Messi Bouli. Celis, who primarily plays as a winger, has already featured in four matches. Messi Bouli, the Cameroonian striker who had an impressive spell with Kerala in the 2019-20 season, is yet to be fully tested. He played only a few minutes against Chennaiyin, but the team will be heavily reliant on him to solve their goal-scoring issues. Defense: Big Names, Bigger Disappointments While the attackers have struggled, the defensive unit has been equally disappointing. Retour sur l’exposition “Moto poétique” au MAC LYON

Retour sur l’exposition de 2014, “Moto poétique” au Musée d’art contemporain de Lyon, c’est ancien mais toujours intéressant par rapport à sa véracité à être toujours d’actualité. “Éloge de la sensation, l’exposition Motopoétique présente, avec plus de 200 œuvres, l’art contemporain dans sa relation à la culture moto et une poétique de la moto, une culture visuelle.” disait Paul Ardenne, commissaire de l’exposition et passionné de moto lien sur son blog et qui a écrit « Moto mon amour ».

Je ressens encore les sensations éprouvées en découvrant l’expo et les mises en scène. Moto sensuelle, moto pratique, moto carton, moto vitesse… Un panorama artistique sur la vison de l’usage de la moto dans le monde et tout son aspect poétique et fantasmagorique.

Honneur aux femmes avec l’artiste Brigitte Zieger (Allemagne) et Janet Biggs avec ses performances sur le lac salé de Bonneville et d’autres que nous suivrons dans les prochains articles.

Elle a également été l’occasion de remercier et de promouvoir trois sous-officiers à un grade supérieur et six chefs de section. Samedi 10 juin dernier, une matinée de formation complémentaire liée au matériel spécifique de notre région a mis un terme à la formation de base suivie au centre de formation de l’Etablissement cantonal d’assurance et de prévention (ECAP) et à l’interne du service de défense incendie et de secours du Val- de-Travers (SDIS). En 2023, un nombre important de recrues incorporées en début d’année ont suivi ces cours, il s’agit de : Laureline Anderegg, Maxime Aubert, Yannick Balisson, Alice Boileau, Antonio Gavinhos Marques, Maria Inês Da Silva Pereira, Lucas Ellenberger, Amélie Huguelet, Séverine Jacot-Descombes, David Koller, Anaïs Reboux, Léa Robert-Tissot, Raphaël Schaffo, Launora Sejdiu, Vanessa Vaudel et Piotr Zimoch. Deux nouveaux sapeurs-pompiers déjà formés, Lydia Tajes et Bastien Vaucher, ont également été incorporés samedi dernier. Trois personnes doivent encore accomplir la formation ECAP en 2024 pour être pleinement opérationnelles : Ylan Daniel, Jonalphy Lopez Pereira et Kerian Lüthi. Les 21 nouveaux sapeurs-pompiers ont été informés de la gestion des alarmes et de leur comportement en intervention. Cette cérémonie a également été l’occasion de féliciter et de remercier les appointé·es Meri Besson, Gilles Besson et Arnaud Zumstein qui ont suivi avec succès le cours de chef de groupe et qui ont été nommé·es au grade de caporal. A la suite d’un processus de sélection, plusieurs personnes ont également été nommées à la fonction de chefs de section à savoir : le premier-lieutenant Kevin Brocard, le premier-lieutenant Pascal Isler et le lieu- tenant Laurent Gossauer au sein du détachement de premiers secours 2 (DPS 2), le caporal Damien Walther et le premier-lieutenant Cédric Matthey au sein du DPS 3 de La Côte-aux-Fées et des Verrières et le premier-lieutenant Jean-Marc Vaucher au sein du DPS 3 de Travers.
