was Oscar's move good? Yes. But God damn, why did he have to dive bomb his fucking teammate in lap 1?? And then lando had to avoid the collision between them and then leclerc got the slipstream. I wanna whack that bastard, my goodness. It was going good but then suddenly he had to be a little bitch. It was quite risky too. He could've taken both of them out and dnfed. Team player my ass. Next time lando has to fucking push him out.

Amazon delivery drivers and dispatchers walked out of their delivery facility on Thursday to demand that Amazon bargain with them. The 84 drivers currently on strike have held picket lines before, but this is the first time Amazon drivers have walked out in the U.S., according to a Teamsters press release.
The drivers, who work for the Amazon delivery service partner (DSP) Battle-Tested Strategies in Palmdale, California, unionized with the Teamsters in late April, and are demanding that Amazon come to the bargaining table to negotiate a contract. Drivers have already negotiated and ratified a contract with the DSP, which voluntarily recognized their union.
Amazon has previously stated that, because the drivers don’t work directly for Amazon—they work for the DSP, which is then contracted by Amazon—that the company is not obligated to bargain with them. For the past month, the union has been trying to prove that wrong, saying that, despite Amazon placing all responsibility onto the DSP, it is in fact in “complete control” of the DSP’s operations.
“We are on the picket line today to demand the pay and safety standards that we deserve,” said Raj Singh, one unionized driver on strike, in a statement. “We work hard for a multibillion-dollar corporation. We should be able to provide food and clothes for our kids.”
The drivers’ contract with the DSP guarantees a higher wage, protections against the extreme heat of California summers, and the right to refuse unsafe deliveries. Heat is an industry-wide hazard for delivery drivers. Motherboard has previously reported on how UPS drivers must deal with temperatures of over 120 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. Earlier this week, the Teamsters won a tentative agreement with UPS guaranteeing improved heat protections and air conditioning in trucks...
“Amazon has no respect for the rule of law, the health of its workers, or the livelihood of their families,” said Randy Korgan, the director of the Teamsters Amazon Division, which has been working to organize Amazon facilities to protect workers and maintain wage standards in the delivery and logistics industry. “Workers are on strike today because the only thing this corporate criminal cares about is profits. We are sending a message to Amazon that violating worker rights will no longer be business as usual.”

How to Request :
Make sure to state what you would like in the imagine/story and what genre (?) Like angst, fluff, smut (sometimes). Also what character or person you would want in the imagine. 🙃
*Disclaimer*
I write for all of these characters and their actors and if you have someone else you would want me to write for be sure to put that in your request these are just the characters I could think of off the top of my head
P.S. I also do some ship imagines like Nick x Charlie (heartstopper), etc. So if you want ship imagines be sure to send them in and I will try and get to them.

Average Smash Rating
Week 1: 52.7% Week 2: 57.7% Week 3: 54.4%
First things first, thank you so much for voting, reblogging, liking, following, and sending in requests. This blog passed 250 followers this week, which is very cool. It is so fun to see how you guys vote, and going through your requests has been a great way to learn a little more about wrestlers that I'm often not super familiar with. My pinned post has been updated with links to the results table and a CSV for my fellow spreadsheet nerds.
Thank you also for being cool about my request regarding violent tags. I haven't had to block anyone yet, and I hope it stays that way.
As for this week's polls, it is VERY amusing to me that you all prefer regular Kane to Corporate Kane by 31 points. That is a LOT. Corporate Kane scored lower than The Boogeyman, who will probably always be my yardstick for smashability. Are you doing better than The Boogeyman? Then you can't be doing too badly.
Around 1/4 of you are clown fuckers! Sinn Bodhi scored 27.3% smash, while a couple weeks ago, Doink the Clown scored 28.3% smash.
Wheeler Yuta tied Orange Cassidy, with both of them getting 77.1% smash. OC received more votes overall (and therefore more smash votes). Looks like Best Friends truly is the most fuckable faction.
Max Caster got 59.2% smash to Anthony Bowens' 74.8%. I'm curious to see how they do as a pair, and what happens when Billy Gunn enters the arena.
And now for some of my favorite tags and comments
@booboo-eyedbambi on Christian Cage (Brood variant): #he looks like the fakest realest vampire#like he looked at the trends at the time and went bet#anyway im kissing him on the mouth with tongue#stumble ur way through a conversation talking about how ur just playing vampire while i stare at ur real fangs
@booboo-eyedbambi on Max Caster: #he has to rap about getting in my pants before i smash him tho
@mancewarner on Christian Cage (Brood variant): #outta the way gayboy im about to see what else he can suc- [i am carried away by bats]
@mancewarner on Tony D'Angelo: #my beautiful mob husband he gives me $300 for my nails every week and we have matching his and hers velvet tracksuits
@bratchristiancage on Dave Bautista: #that's my dad#still smash tho i have eyes
@sequentialprophet on El Desperado: #I wanna know why ZSJ is always yanking on his lil ears 😏

Note
going off his post from when he announced his extension as ceo, most people who dislike him seem to claim it's either because he's american and shouldn't be involved in european motorsport (which is already wild considering f1 is an international competition and not a european one), like this is an exact word-for-word critism that i saw more than one person use. or they're australian and feel that zak/the team unfairly favor lando at the expense of aussie drivers. just look at any mclaren affiliated social media after the australian gp. i personally think both are pretty irrational excuses and like don't get me wrong, i am all for people hating for the purpose of being a hater but if you're going to try to justify your hatred with reasons at least find one based in some sort of logic. or even reality.
anon a person after my own heart i too love hating for the purpose of being a hater but this isnt that, its a more widespread and vitriolic fandom phenomenon that clearly different from, say, me hating on clement novalak bc his eyebrows freak me out, ykwim?
i do think his obnoxious americanism is kind of hard to swallow and thats fair if u find him annoying but it rly doesnt explain to me y ppl immediately label him a villain? maybe bc he has that rich man in a black and white hollywood movie vibe abt him or smth but like surely its smth more serious than that. idk i think its just the american salesman core of it all... he's slimy and slippery and persuasive and he does it VERY well
also like i do think the idea that he mistreats oscar is frankly silly - mostly bc oscar keeps yapping on and on abt how much he likes having a team where hes finally wanted and appreciated, but also bc its clear zak loves the guy. i think ur right in that i do think some ppl think that: i keep seeing ppl on twitter saying that the fact that lando has done a couple factory debriefs that oscar wasnt there for means they clearly favour lando. but like.... if i were renowned introvert oscar piastri i would WAY prefer not having to fly 12h to speak in front of a crowd and instead be allowed to spend another couple days w my family in melbourne. like bffr please
also also can i just say re: team orders bc i think thats the other reason ppl think oscar is mistreated - do ppl not realise that last week oscar literally got the priority strategy? they helped cover him against russell instead of helping lando cover against leclerc, which is how lando ended up losing second place - he wouldve kept it if he'd pit on lap 9 with charles or even maybe lap 10 just after him (if the oscar pitstop was unplanned). and also, in general, lando and oscar often end up on diff strategies where lando shows up behind oscar with fresher tyres (and hence has to b let by w team orders) because lando is better at managing tyre wear. thats y he often gets the stay long - overcut strat (germany situation beloved), whereas oscar is often on the undercut - defend strat, and they'll often meet in the middle. the fact that we get these kinds of strategy team orders is GOOD. it means the team has enough faith in both drivers' skills to give them diff strategies and trust them both to execute them well. it also means the drivers r next to each other on track - id take lando team-order-passing oscar any day over lando blue-flag-passing daniel.... oof.
sorry a defense of zak brown turned into a defense of randy singh but like im just saying that the idea that the entirety of mclaren hates and mistreats oscar is rly quite laughable if ur actually engaged in the strategy game or like if u have eyes idk. im very very glad that oscar has become kind of a people's princess character and ppl rly do seem to universally love him but i find it so infuriating that they have to do so at the expense of mclaren. if u wanna find an enemy to hate on behalf of oscar carlos sainz is literally right there

How to Use Select Quote
Select Quote is a platform that allows customers to compare insurance policies from multiple carriers at once. Here is a breakdown of how to use Select Quote:
Getting a Quote
To get started with Select Quote, customers will need to fill out a simple online form with their basic information, including their age, gender, and health status. After submitting the form, customers will receive a list of quotes from different carriers, along with information about the policies.
Policy Selection
Once customers have received their quotes, they will need to review the policies and decide which one is best for them. Select Quote offers a variety of policies, including term life, whole life, and universal life insurance. Customers should consider factors such as coverage amount, premium cost, and policy length when making their decision.
Application Process
After selecting a policy, customers will need to complete the application process. This typically involves answering additional questions about their health and lifestyle, as well as undergoing a medical exam. Once the application is complete, the carrier will review the information and decide whether to approve the policy.
Overall, Select Quote is a convenient tool for comparing insurance policies from multiple carriers. By following these steps, customers can use Select Quote to find the best policy for their needs.
Comparing Select Quote
Select Quote Vs Traditional Insurance
Select Quote is an online platform that allows customers to compare life, auto, and home insurance quotes from multiple carriers. Traditional insurance involves working with an agent or broker who represents one insurance carrier. Here are some key differences between Select Quote and traditional insurance:
Number of Carriers: Select Quote works with a variety of carriers, allowing customers to compare quotes and choose the best option for their needs. Traditional insurance agents typically work with one carrier, limiting the options available to customers.
Convenience: Select Quote allows customers to compare quotes and purchase insurance online, without the need for in-person meetings or phone calls. Traditional insurance often involves multiple meetings or phone calls with an agent or broker.
Cost: Select Quote's online platform allows customers to compare quotes from multiple carriers, potentially saving them money. Traditional insurance agents may not have access to the same range of carriers and may not be able to offer the same level of cost savings.
Select Quote Vs Other Online Platforms
Select Quote is not the only online platform that allows customers to compare insurance quotes. Here are some key differences between Select Quote and other online platforms:
Specialization: Select Quote specializes in life, auto, and home insurance. Other online platforms may specialize in a different type of insurance or offer a wider range of insurance products.
Number of Carriers: Select Quote works with a variety of carriers, allowing customers to compare quotes and choose the best option for their needs. Other online platforms may work with fewer carriers or only offer quotes from one carrier.
Ease of Use: Select Quote's online platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. Other online platforms may be more difficult to use or require more steps to compare quotes and purchase insurance.
Overall, Select Quote offers a convenient and cost-effective way for customers to compare insurance quotes and purchase coverage online. However, customers should also consider traditional insurance options and other online platforms to ensure they are getting the best coverage at the best price.
Potential Drawbacks of Select Quote
Select Quote is a life insurance agency that can save you the hassle of comparing insurance plans from multiple companies. However, using Select Quote may also come with some potential drawbacks that are important to consider before making a decision.
Limited Insurance Providers
One potential drawback of using Select Quote is that they work with a limited number of insurance providers. This means that you may not have access to the full range of insurance options available in the market. Select Quote works with around 20 insurance providers, which is a relatively small number compared to other insurance agencies.
It is important to note that the insurance providers that Select Quote works with are reputable and well-known in the industry. However, if you have a specific insurance provider in mind that is not included in Select Quote's network, you may not be able to get a quote through their platform.
Potential for Bias
Another potential drawback of using Select Quote is the potential for bias. Select Quote agents are paid on a commission basis, which means that they may have an incentive to recommend certain insurance providers or policies over others.
It is important to note that Select Quote agents are licensed and trained professionals who are required to act in the best interest of their clients. However, it is possible that some agents may prioritize their own financial interests over their clients' needs.
To mitigate this potential bias, it is important to do your own research and compare quotes from multiple insurance providers before making a decision. Additionally, it may be helpful to ask your Select Quote agent about their commission structure and how it may impact their recommendations.
In summary, while Select Quote can be a convenient and efficient way to compare life insurance options, it is important to consider the potential drawbacks before making a decision. These include a limited number of insurance providers and the potential for bias from commission-based agents.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Select Quote is a reputable insurance agency that provides a variety of insurance policies to consumers. The company has been in business for over 35 years and has a strong reputation for providing excellent customer service.
One of the benefits of using Select Quote is that the company works with multiple insurance carriers, which allows consumers to compare policies and prices easily. This can help consumers find the best policy for their needs and budget.
Additionally, Select Quote has a user-friendly website that allows consumers to get quotes and apply for policies online. The company also offers a mobile app, which makes it easy for consumers to manage their policies and make payments on the go.
Overall, Select Quote is a good choice for consumers who are looking for a reliable insurance agency that offers a variety of policies at competitive prices. The company's commitment to excellent customer service and its user-friendly technology make it a top choice for many consumers.
