If your willing to open your little heart pt4.
The girls laughed as I struggled with sissy’s clittie pumping back and forth !..
Mistress Elaine told me to look up at sissy patty to show her I was enjoying the gift she was about to give me !..
I could see sissy through the pink lenses smiling down at me as I gave her eye contact..
A few minutes later I settled into a rhythm that sissy seemed to enjoy..
“Clever Baby girlie that’s the way …Mmmm !…. Mommy Susan she is quite the wee cock sucker, please can I feed her now ?”
Mommy lent into me ..
“Ok baby Stephanie you will circle sissy patty’s clittie with your tongue and do Not swallow or spill one drop out !
Mommy wants to see you hold All of it for her and Mistress Elaine to inspect princess !”
As I felt sissy withdraw for me to play with her clittie I could feel her swelling up more ! Pushing my gum shields wider apart…
As I circled best I could I felt her twitching in my mouth…
OMG I was about to get my first ever cream cummie mouthful !..
The thought had no longer filled my mind as suddenly it rushed into my mouth !
Over and over again as sissy squealed out loudly !
I was choking on it there was so much ! But I held on as sissy spoke to me..
“My my Mommy she is going to be such an addition to your home !
Now baby girlie follow me with your tongue and open nice and wide so Mommy and Mistress can see you have been a clever baby girlie!”
As I did both girls clapped seeing my moth full of sissy’s gift ! …
Mommy kissed my cheek ..
“Clever Baby girlie your suite the wee smelly girlie !
Mommy has another gift for baby from Mistress Elaine !”
Mommy started push a pair of soiled pants into my cheeks then my mouth !
Wedging it open wide as Mistress Elaine brought over a rubber “bit gag” I could just see it through my pink haze lenses !
This was fastened on tightly !
I could now not swallow the gift as it had soaked into the soiled pants !
There was no escaping it now till Mommy took the pantie gagging back out !
Mommy lifted her mobile ..
“Hi Nana that’s Baby done at Mistress Elaine so she is all ready to start her new baby life ! So if you cold get the theatre ready we will be home soon for her first surgery….
Perfect see you soon Nana !”
Mommy patted my head let’s get you home baby Stephanie Mommy has quite a day planned for you baby we’re going to start your transition to being a Baby girl completely in every way !
And baby I do mean every way !”
Sissy pulled the chair back as Mistress attached a wheeled frame to the chair !
I was pushed towards the door by Sissy..
Mommy opened the door in front of me…
“Don’t fret Mistress Elaine and her sissy will be joining us to watch your first surgery darling !”
As the door opened Aunty Anna smiled at me !
“Has she been a clever baby Mommy ? “
Why yes Aunty Anna she gave all her big rights away and even has a mouth Full of sissy baby juice so we are all ready for her to start her “Transition” Nana is getting the theatre ready as we speak !”
Aunty Anna giggled as I was wheeled past her by sissy grinning ear too ear !….
What did Mommy mean surgery ??…
I started crying…. What had I gotten into my old life was gone…
I had always wanted to be a baby 24/7 but this ?
Mommy broke me from my trance ..
“Baby Stephanie..Wet’wet’s…. Clever girlie baby!”
I wet my diaper as I was taken to  a black van, a ramp was already set out.
In the back was a frame that they locked the seat into closing the doors.
I was shut in the dark crying !…
As the van burst into life and drove off….
A one hour journey later we reached a stop …
I blinked past the lenses as sissy patty pulled me out from the van, I instantly recognised it to be Nana’s house !
Inside Nana met us …
“ Hello baby Stephanie Mommy tells me your ready to be a “Real Baby Girl”..
and live as our baby, a part of our Very Special Family.
Am so glad as like Mommy I think your adorable ! ..
But darling we do have to get this ridiculous Big Boy things taken care of as your going to be a baby Girl to the Fullest Cutie !..
I will  take her from here Sissy Patty thank you.
Go and join Mistress Elaine please !”
Sissy did a curtsy to Nana then spoke ..
“Thank you Nana !”
Nana pushed me forward…
“Let’s get you into the theatre baby girlie Mommy is waiting..
We are all set up and ready for You !”
As the door opened I was wheeled into a white room the lights were very bright !
On the far wall a projector was playing a film of me that had been taken by my home cameras and film of everything leading up to this moment,
It was on a loop !!…
But that was not what had me whimpering…
Mommy and Aunty Anna were dressed in green surgery gowns !
Mommy was in front of a theatre bed all set up and ready it had lots of white strapping hanging at the ready …
At the bedhead was a yellow head restraint the type used in an accident to immobilise the head and neck !
Aunty Anna was at it with a trolly it had two large gas bottles and I could see a gas mask in on it !
Mommy came over to me..
“Now baby Stephanie Mommy will explain what’s happening…Mommy hasn’t been entirely honest with her new baby girlie..
This is Mommy’s home and Nana stays with Mommy.
I have never told baby what I do for a living ..Mommy is a plastic surgeon !
So today we are going to start your transition to being a full baby girlie for Mommy, so that you can become part of our Very Special family….
So let’s get you up and strapped in !“
Sissy patty and Mistress Elaine appeared dress also in gowns !
As they Un-strapped me from the chair..
Mistress Elaine spoke to me..
“ Best behaviour baby girlie or things will get Very unpleasant do you understand ?”
Wess Mistress Elaine
Mommy looked right at me ..
“Clever Baby girlie But Louder as we can’t hear past your pissie commie gagging young Lady !”
I squealed out my reply..
As they hauled me up onto the operating table ! Strapping me down ..
As Aunty Anna pulled the strap over my forehead then one under my chin..
Mommy was setting up a wee cloth gate at my neck so I couldn’t see….
She looked down at me then spoke very softly…
“Now Aunty Anna is going to help you relax as Mommy works on you baby, she is Mommy’s Anaesthetist at work so listen to her instructions baby girlie !”
Mommy disappeared as Aunty Anna held up the gas mask…
“Now baby Stephanie am going to hold this rubber gas mask over your face I want you to breathe nice and deeply am not going to put you to sleep, just let you relax so you can feel what Mommy is doing without fretting..Off we go !”
She pushed the mask into my face as I got my first whiff of the gas !
“Ah ah don’t struggle baby just breathe Deeply ..that’s the way off you go and be in your happy place ..”
Mistress Elaine appeared over my face..
Smiling down at me as Sissy Patty joined her to watch…
I could feel Mommy tugging at my dress then something cold being put on my chest….
Mommy smiled behind the mask pulling the trolley closer !
On the trolly were scalps, swabs, sutures and two clear orbs at the ready they were not too large but were quite rounded with a nipple bulge..
Mommy lifted the Scalpel and a swab, her first cut brought a quiet whimper from her charge…
“Hush hush now little one Your ok Mommy has you !”
Susan cut into the chest making a cavity for the new breast implant !
Pushing it in she positioned it to best advantage quite high up, then started sutures that were dissolving in the chest cavity, this was followed by a line for perfect outer stitching !
She lifted a new scalpel cutting the other side ! …
God she loved this part !
Modifying her play things for her amusement and most importantly Financial Gain ! ….
Baby Stephanie would be put to work as a Babyslave !
But not for a while yet, as Mommy had so many more surgeries to perform first…
They all looked a baby tears falling down each side of her soon too be beautiful high cheekbones…
But that was for another day !
Sissy Patty was so hard in her cage at the thought of her new little sister to play with ! ….
Why was she excited ? Baby Stephanie was suckling on Mistress Elaine’s dirty seed filled pants like a three year old what’s more they all laughed as baby soiled herself ! ! ! ….

wow I totally forgot to post the fantastic dream i had this morning. I was having a really good Sparks dream and then got a phonecall from my aunt telling me extended family were coming over and being the only person home i needed to be the host, so it ended possibly before it ever even got to the meat and potatoes. but as it was...
I was with my family in our old family van, which is technically my car now, but back then it was the family van. anyway, here comes a recurring theme from many past Sparks dreams: the boys were set to play a venue close to my old hometown, so we needed to give them a lift for some reason, although I guess Russell already got to the venue so Ron was riding with us.
We got tremendously lost. I meant to tell my mom to circle around to a different parking lot to redirect us and instead we drove to like...a whale exhibit (?) and the whales were huge and splashing overhead with no glass or anything while we walked up a ramp to get to the next part of town. didn't make much sense but ron liked the whales. It was really surreal seeing him just sitting upright in a carseat i'd sat in many times, completely blasé to the whole situation as if he were just a random man we picked off the street. i always look at him then look away quickly in my dreams. he would sometimes reply to situations in a very drab and matter of fact way that we found amusing.
anyway, guess what our mystery venue was? my childhood church, although as is typically the case in dreams, it looked nothing like the real thing, yet by dream logic nothing seemed different. Russell plus the band's entourage were there setting up equipment, i think russell was kind of like "what took you so long?" as there were a lot of mishaps along the way (including us accidentally hitting a kid on his bike while parking but don't worry he was fine). I asked ron if he ever considered reversing their roles and doing the singing while russell played the keyboards. he said he could probably sing but russell only knows how to play one note on the keyboard. they both snickered at this. I do not know what this means.
in the church auditorium with my family + the audience, there was an opening act of a magic show that involved. eggs? it went on for too long and impressed nobody. And then there was like...a free-for-all act where we voted on Simpsons characters. I don't know either. this briefly fused into a family guy segment before we were like "its 11pm can we please get Sparks onstage" so we did. but i don't remember anything about the show and i'm not even sure there was a show, because for all the talk of playing and equipment, apparently tonight's event that we reserved tickets for was actually the premiere of a brand new sparks BIOPIC.
it opened with 70s-esque footage of a teenage girl talking into the camera from her bedroom reminiscing about the band from her perspective until "amateur hour" kicks in and pretty decent-looking actors portraying the boys are shown playing onstage during the 70s. i'm thinking, this is pretty cool, i always wondered if a movie like this would happen. and then...
through some sort of stylized shot transition, the band are being played by kittens, singing and prancing around onstage. russell doing all his usual movements but in feline form. Haha what a funny and oddly stylish bit, i'm thinking to myself. what a fun way of depicting their personalities. but it just...continues like that? punk russell in 1976 singing "i wanna be like everybody else" while twirling around with the microphone but as a kitten, thrashing about? everyone is laughing. it's so good.
the movie truly does continue on in this fashion yet for as confounding as its sudden shift in direction is, we become oddly immersed in its storytelling enough not to even notice the boys are still being played by kittens, in a stroke of auteuristic magic a la todd haynes' superstar: the karen carpenter story. a sequence depicting "girl chasing" in their younger years in the form of kittens climbing onto the legs of girls who are walking away from them up some stairs while they mew desperately has the audience both cackling and aww'ing. another scene that stands out is a roadie saying "you guys don't eat enough!" and putting both ron and russell kittens in a bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy.
I was under the impression ron and russ were really proud of the film and likely had direct involvement themselves, but had kept it so tightly under wraps that no one knew what was coming. I wish I could tell you more but then i got that phonecall.

I'm helping organize this fundraiser for a good friend who's in a major bind. Her van, which was modified to be wheelchair accessible, has failed. It costs upwards of $75,000 to replace, upfront.
Right now, she has no transportation. Please donate and share this post to help spread the word. Thank you!
NEW WHEELS FOR HANNAH
Back in August 2022, Hannah’s van shut off by itself in the middle of a busy street. The computer system that allows her to drive the van with hand controls had failed. She was stranded.
Hannah has Muscular Dystrophy, and uses a power wheelchair full-time, meaning that she needs a wheelchair-accessible vehicle to commute or travel anywhere. For the past 12 years, Pequod, her fully modified van, has allowed her to get anywhere she needed to go. Hannah drove it through college and grad school, to and from her teaching position at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and across state lines to her new house in a small town outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she lives with her husband, Jared, and a ridiculous shepherd-corgi mix named Pumpkin.
Tumblr media
Despite the van's most valiant efforts, these vehicles are only designed to work for 10 years, and while Hannah and Jared were grateful to see it last an additional two years, they now find themselves without reliable transportation. They do not live in a city with public transit, so without an accessible van, Hannah is essentially homebound.
As her friends, we have decided to help her ask for help, because a new van with the modifications she and her chair require (a lowered floor, a ramp installation, and EZ-lock restraint system) costs upwards of $75,000. The vast majority of that will have to be paid upfront. For a variety of reasons, Hannah and Jared have decided not to get a van with the computer system and hand controls this time, which would have added another $35,000 to the total cost. This will not be one she can drive, but they have weighed the pros and cons and decided they can make it work.
The service that helped Hannah get Pequod 12 years ago said they’d only ever finance one vehicle. Another won’t help because she is married and her husband is able to go out for groceries and necessities. Medi-transit services can take her to the hospital and nothing else is considered a necessity.
Hannah has dedicated a huge part of her life to disability advocacy. Her heart is enormous and through knowing her we have all come to see how much of her desire to help others informs her everyday life. Much of our time together is spent discussing ways to open eyes to a new way of seeing the world, the realities of living with a disability, and how the system has failed others less fortunate than herself.
When we heard about the dire straits Hannah was in with her van, we knew we had to do something. Unfortunately, we cannot do this alone. Your donations would change Hannah’s life, and would also allow the people who care about her to stop worrying so much.

Day 11 | Track 11: “ ‘tis the damn season” by Taylor Swift
Tumblr media
People make mistakes - it’s a fact, a constant of the universe, a steady truth. Even you weren’t immune to the intense mistake making the holiday seemed to bring out in everyone - a last hurrah of stupidity before the new year. The mistakes build and count down to your demise without you realizing it.
Ten.
Returning to Hawkins for the holidays - this mistake was simple, easy to define, undeniably preventable, and the fuel which filled the mistake filled fire that consumed your transition into the new year.
You knew why you made the trip home, the truth there, although buried deep - a thread you could easily pull out of the air and unravel to reveal it all. But perhaps you were denying what was right in front of you, running from it for as long as and as far as you could. Yearning for a past you’d left behind for a reason you couldn’t remember suddenly.
You were seeing it all through rose colored glasses as you made your way down the familiar snow lined sidewalk to Steve Harrington’s house.
It looked exactly the same as it had every year of your childhood - the Christmas lights still strung up perfectly, the sounds of laughter and music echoing from inside, the splashes coming from the back of the home and its heated pool, the cars overcrowding the entire street.
It really was all the same, right down to the vehicle in your sights now. Everyone in Hawkins showed up to the Harrington’s for New Years Eve, so the sight of the familiar van shouldn’t have been a shock to you.
Stopping on the sidewalk with your hands in your pockets, you look inside the passenger door window - the window that used to be yours - and you quickly turn, shoving the past behind you where it belonged.
You rationalized with yourself that it was a big house and you’d probably not even run into each other tonight, stepping over the threshold and into the party.
Nine.
After making the rounds and hearing how your friends were doing the same things they had been, or getting married and having kids already, the party started to ramp up a little. Dumb jocks sticking their tongues down girls' throats, red solo cups littering the floor and a smoky haze filling the room, you were starting to remember that reason for leaving.
And then 'Don't Stop Believing' started playing and you watched the house full of drunk and high idiots lose their shit as the clock ticked closer to midnight.
Leaning against the doorway, you rolled your eyes but had to laugh at the drunken belting out of the lyrics and shenanigans of all the party goers.
Feeling a pair of eyes on you, you turn to find the source, a smile still twitching at your lips as you lock eyes on those familiar brown ones and you see him, mirroring your stance completely in the doorway across the room, the lyrics screaming overhead, "For a smile they can share the night...."
He smiles and knocks his head backwards, the message clear, 'wanna get out of here?'
And you do.
So you go.
Eight.
Finding each other again at the front door, he’s exactly the same, just like everything else in the town. From the same long, dark hair falling in waves over his leather clad shoulders to his dirty white Reebok's.
He opens the front door, bowing slightly as he gestures outside, "Ladies first," pressing his palm to your back as he follows.
Your stomach spinning in a knot as you pull away from him, "Eddie, I don't think-"
He's holding his hands up in surrender, brown eyes a little brighter than when you last saw them this close, smiling as he blows out his breath, "Sorry babe, old habits die hard," he opens the passenger door for you, the same rusty spots screeching through the quiet night. You smirked as he mimes crossing his heart, "I promise I'll behave."
You smile, hand touching his on the door as you whisper, "Don't make promises you can't keep Munson," climbing into the van and holding your breath as he leans in.
"But those are the best kind to make," winking and closing the door gently.
Seven.
Eddie's van was exactly the same, stepping into a part of your personal history that seemed to be frozen in time. Stickers on the dash, cassette tapes littering the floor, and the smell - the cigarettes and weed mixing with the leather of the van and hints of his cologne. The smell that should smell terrible but was pulling you back in like an old friend you’d never left.
He hopped in the driver’s seat, hands searching his pockets and you picked up the lighter in the cup holder as he pulled a cigarette from his coat and began the search for it.
Holding it up and flicking it, his eyes dart up to you. Sticking it between his lips, he leans forward and lets you light it for him, inhaling slowly without his eyes ever leaving yours as he offers it to you.
Staring at the glowing orange tip, you close your eyes and Eddie whispers, “Ah, should have guessed you don’t smoke anymore.”
You pull the cigarette from him and narrow your eyes, “Tonight I do.”
Eddie smirks as you nod towards the road, placing your feet up on the dash like you’d never stopped and inhaling as he moves the car into drive.
Six.
The chains of the swing creak as the wind whistles through them and you groan around the bite in your mouth, “Fuck me, they don’t make burgers like this anywhere else, I swear.”
Reaching your hand into the bag for a stray fry, Eddie kicks the rocks under his feet as his body slowly kicks the swing he’s on back and forth, throwing his head back, “And yet, you still left.”
Your eyes dart over to him and your breath hitches. The moonlight casting him in a soft glow, you follow the column of his outstretched neck, his jaw line and to his lips twitching as he sings, “You-re stare-ing.”
You turn abruptly back to your burger, kicking your own feet and then look around, Hawkins Middle in front of you and you smile, “Hey, do you remember-”
“Don’t.”
You stop in the middle of your reminiscing to see his bleak face staring at the building, like you’re not seeing it the same at all, like you’re not remembering it the same.
You sigh, “Eddie, please don’t-”
He turns his sweet brown eyes to you, his lips and chin trembling, “Why’d you leave me here?”
You close your eyes and whisper, “Did you get my letter?”
He laughs, a dark and cold one that isn’t the laugh you remember at all as he jumps out of the swing, “Yeah, yeah I got your letter alright.”
He clenches his hands in fists at his side and when he turns his eyes to you again, you take in the boy you left behind two years ago. In some ways, he’s the same - the clothes, the mannerisms, the car, the same hang out spot. But he’s changed. You’ve changed. His voice is deeper, he’s got the hint of some facial hair, and he’s got a sort of confidence about him that he always had, but somehow even stronger now. And you were missing him, thinking about the person he’s become in just two years and who he would continue to become after this.
You weren’t swinging anymore, but it felt like you were in that spot, right before you fall backwards, like you could fly away and be free of the gravity of earth and responsibilities if you just let yourselves pretend that’s the way it could be.
You stand and step towards him, grabbing his hand. You speak softly, pleading with him, “If you got my letter, then you know why I had to leave. And to be honest, I don’t know why you’re still here, Eddie.”
He laughed again, palm pressing into his eye, “Didn’t ya hear babe? Your ex boyfriend is repeating his senior year…again,” dropping his hand he shakes his head, “But, you know, ‘86 is my year - I can feel it.”
His voice falters on the last sentence, sweet eyes melting you and you lean in, hands finding his cheeks and his your waist. Your breath mingles with each other before your lips press together in a kiss that was two years too late.
Five.
Getting back in the car with Eddie and letting him drive you to the familiar trailer, kiss you more as you both clumsily made your way to his bedroom that looked exactly the same.
Four.
Kissing that wandered from each other’s lips, brushing over spots that had yearned for his kisses every day for years, bruising and buzzing fingertips that made your back arch off the bed - convincing yourself it can work this time, maybe you could stay.
Three.
That moment, right before it all crashes over you and you’re there, holding each other like you used to - arms around his shoulders, his around your waist and he kisses you like no time has passed and you’re calling out his name over and over again until you’re too far gone to care about why you shouldn’t be doing it.
That is, until he falls asleep and you’re still awake, knowing it will never work, knowing you’re delusional as you see the metal lunchbox, the corroded coffin flag, the room that hasn’t changed and will never change next to the boy who didn’t follow you out of that town.
Maybe he’ll follow you this time.
Two.
Quietly slipping out of the trailer, you steal his keys, driving yourself to your parents house. Leaving the keys on the dash with a note that says ‘86 is your year Eddie, come find me this time’.
You don’t even say goodbye to your parents, slipping into your car, windshield fogging up, or maybe it’s your tears blurring your vision, as you drive over the town line, leaving Eddie Munson for the second time.
One.
Happy New Year.

How to Choose the Right Vehicle for House Removals?
Tumblr media
Selecting the right vehicle for house removals ensures smooth, efficient, and stress-free moving. The right choice can save you time, effort, and even money. Whether you’re moving across town or to a different city, understanding your needs and matching them with the appropriate vehicle will make all the difference in house removals in London. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you make the best choice.
Assess the Size of Your Move
The first step in choosing the right vehicle is evaluating the size of your move. Consider the following:
Number of Items:
Do you have a few boxes, or are you moving a house full of furniture?
Type of Items:
Larger items like beds, sofas, or appliances may require more space.
Distance:
A larger vehicle is often better for long-distance moves to minimize trips.
Vehicle Recommendations:
Small Moves:
A van, such as a cargo or transit van, is suitable.
Medium Moves:
A box truck or medium-sized moving truck works well.
Large Moves:
A full-size moving truck or large lorry is ideal.
2. Consider Accessibility
Think about the physical layout of your current and future home:
Narrow Streets:
A smaller vehicle might be necessary if either location is in an area with narrow roads.
Parking Restrictions:
Check for parking regulations or permits needed for large vehicles.
Driveway Space:
Ensure the car can fit into your driveway or near your home.
Choosing a vehicle that can easily access your property reduces the risk of delays or added costs.
3. Evaluate Your Budget
The cost of hiring a vehicle for house removals depends on its size, fuel consumption, and rental duration. Professionals provide a package of loading, packing, and transporting. So, it’s always a great decision to hire them and stay relaxed. If you do it separately consider:
Fuel Efficiency:
Smaller vehicles are more fuel-efficient but may require multiple trips.
Rental Costs:
Larger vehicles typically have higher daily rental rates.
Driver Costs:
If hiring a driver, larger vehicles may incur additional fees.
Strike a balance between size and affordability to keep expenses within budget.
4. Check for Professional Drivers
Hiring a professional company that excels in house removals is a wise choice. They have a vast collection of vehicles for relocation. Large trucks and vans can be challenging to manoeuvre, especially on highways or in urban areas. They know that and select the car accordingly.
When hiring a driver:
Ensure they have experience driving the selected vehicle.
Verify the company’s insurance covers driver-related incidents.
Check reviews for trustworthiness and professionalism.
5. Factor in Loading and Unloading Requirements
Ease of loading and unloading is another vital consideration in house removals. Features to look for include:
Loading Ramps:
These make it easier to move heavy furniture and appliances.
Hydraulic Lifts:
Ideal for particularly heavy or bulky items.
Doors and Access Points:
Ensure the vehicle has wide doors and adequate access for more oversized items.
These features can save time and reduce the risk of injury during the move.
6. Account for Fragile and Valuable Items
If you have delicate antiques, artwork, or electronics, ensure the vehicle has appropriate storage capabilities:
Securing Straps:
To keep items stable during transit.
Padding Options:
These are for added protection against bumps and vibrations.
Climate Control:
Necessary for items sensitive to temperature and humidity changes.
A vehicle equipped to handle fragile goods ensures your belongings arrive safely.
7. Think About Multiple Trips
You may have the flexibility to make multiple trips for local house removals. In this case, a smaller vehicle could suffice. However, for long-distance moves, choose a larger vehicle to complete the move in a single trip, saving time and fuel.
8. Consider Professional Moving Companies
Professional relocation companies offer a stress-free alternative. They provide:
Expertly chosen cars based on your move size.
Packing and loading services to optimize space and protect your belongings.
Drivers are experienced in handling large vehicles and tight spaces.
Hiring professional house removals may cost more. However, the convenience and expertise can be worth it.
9. Plan Ahead
The best vehicle for your house removals may not always be available at the last minute. Reserve a reputed moving service in advance to secure the ideal car. Early planning allows you to compare options, get better rates, and avoid the anxiety of last-minute arrangements.
Final Thoughts
Picking the right vehicle for house removals in London requires meticulous consideration of your needs, budget, and the logistical challenges of your move. From evaluating the size of your belongings to ensuring safety and accessibility, each factor plays a role in determining the best option. If in doubt, consult with professional movers from Scope Removal. Their expertise can guide you to the perfect solution, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and stress-free move to your new home.

How to Safely Transport and Set Up Gym Equipment Bought at Auction
Tumblr media
Purchasing gym equipment at auction can be a cost-effective way to outfit a fitness space, whether you’re creating a personal gym or upgrading a commercial facility. However, items bought through gym liquidation sales often require careful handling to ensure they are safely transported and set up without damage or injury. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you move your equipment from the auction floor to your gym space with ease.
Assess the Equipment Before the Transport
When participating in gym liquidation sales, inspect the equipment thoroughly before purchase. Look for signs of wear and tear, loose parts, or structural damage. Knowing the condition will help you plan the safest way to transport and set up the items. Pay special attention to larger machines, such as treadmills and weight stacks, which may require partial disassembly for safe handling.
Gather the Right Tools and Supplies
Transporting gym equipment isn’t a task to improvise. Ensure you have the following:
Dollies and Hand Trucks: Ideal for heavy or bulky items like treadmills and ellipticals.
Furniture Sliders: Help move items across floors without scratching or damaging surfaces.
Moving Blankets and Straps: Protect delicate parts from scratches and secure items in place during transit.
Tool Kit: Includes wrenches, screwdrivers, and Allen keys for disassembly and reassembly.
Disassemble When Necessary
Large gym machines are often easier and safer to move when partially disassembled. Remove weights, detachable arms, or screens. Keep small parts like bolts, screws, and washers organized in labeled bags to avoid misplacement during reassembly. Refer to the manufacturer’s manual or look online for instructions if needed.
Use Professional Moving Services for Larger Equipment
Items like squat racks, cable machines, or heavy treadmills can weigh hundreds of pounds. For these, hiring a professional moving service familiar with fitness equipment can save time and prevent accidents. Many moving companies also provide insurance coverage in case of damage during transit.
Ensure Safe Loading and Transport
Loading the equipment onto a truck or van requires care:
Use a ramp for heavy items instead of lifting them, which can lead to injuries.
Secure all equipment with straps to prevent shifting during transport.
Avoid stacking heavy items on top of smaller, delicate ones.
Plan Your Gym Layout Before Arrival
Before unloading the equipment, plan the layout of your gym space. Consider the following:
Space Requirements: Leave enough room for movement and safety zones around machines.
Flooring: Ensure the flooring can handle the weight, especially for heavy-duty equipment like weight racks. Rubber mats or interlocking gym tiles are ideal.
Power Outlets: Position cardio machines like treadmills near power sources.
Reassemble with Care
Once you’ve transported the equipment, follow the manufacturer’s assembly instructions closely. Use the labeled parts from earlier disassembly to avoid mistakes. Test each machine after reassembly to ensure it functions properly.
Prioritize Safety During Setup
Anchor Heavy Equipment: Machines like power racks and cable systems should be anchored to the floor or walls to prevent tipping.
Inspect for Damage: Check for any dents, misalignments, or malfunctioning parts caused during transit. Replace worn-out cables, grips, or other components before use.
Regular Maintenance After Setup
After your equipment is installed, commit to regular maintenance to extend its lifespan. Clean and lubricate moving parts, tighten bolts periodically, and check for wear and tear. This is especially important for items purchased through gym liquidation sales, as they may have already seen significant use.
Final Thoughts
Buying gym equipment from gym liquidation sales can be a smart investment, but transporting and setting it up requires proper planning and attention to detail. By using the right tools, enlisting professional help for heavy items, and prioritizing safety, you can ensure your equipment remains in top condition and ready to support your fitness goals.

I Remember May 17, 1974 (SLA Shootout)
I grew up in a different time. A time before van pools, cell phones, and play dates. The term for me then was a latchkey kid. Meaning, that I walked to and from school and was unsupervised until my parents got home from work.
Officially, upon arriving home, I was supposed to do homework and study. Unofficially, I turned on the tv and semi focused on homework until it got close to the time my mom would come home.
So it was, on May 17th 1974, when I arrived home at about 3:30. I likely got a drink and a snack, settled down behind the coffee table with my school work and turned on the television. On a Friday afternoon in ‘74, my options would have been limited, to reruns of Gilligan’s Island, the Banana Splits or Bugs Bunny, but on that Friday in 1974, all the channels presented, without preamble or permission, the shootout between the Los Angeles Police Department and a leftist terrorist group called the Symbionese Liberation Army.
Let me say, that Los Angeles, back in the day, had a staggering number of broadcast channels; 7 VHS and at least 5 or 6 UHF. Beyond the major affiliates, NBC (4), CBS (2), and ABC (7), there were local channels, KCOP (13), KTLA (5), KHJ (9), and KTTV (11). To give you a perspective, I lived a couple of years in Wisconsin, where only one channel, NBC, had a clear signal. On a good day you could get CBS in from La Crosse, some 80 miles away. For a kid raised on TV, it was like a prison sentence.
Also, it was the early 70s, was when local TV news came into its own. The innovation is portable cameras allowed for Mobile news crews to canvassed LA, and news choppers to roam the skies.
Interesting side note, Gary Francis Powers, the U2 pilot that the Russians shot down in the early 60s. He died in ‘77 while flying a news chopper for LA’s NBC affiliate.
But, on that afternoon in ‘May ‘74, when I turned on my TV, I found to my dismay that the Local News teams had taken over the airwaves. Every channel was showing different images of the same event. I know this seems commonplace now, when channels will break from their regular programming for a random police pursuit, or a hot bit of celebrity gossip. And yes, to be fair, breaking news was not new. The assassinations of JFK and others had impacted viewers in real time. But back in ‘74 live on-scene video coverage of events as they were unfolding was relatively new territory for both news crews and for we the viewing audience.
For one thing, all the channels jumped to cover the event. The only other option was to switch off the TV. Also, the rules of engagement for live TV coverage was in its infancy. Today’s live broadcasts are time delayed and crews are trained to switch to wide shots and ready to cut away to avoid transmitting horrific scenes to an unprepared audience.
We want to see, but don’t be gross.
In the golden age of television we had already witnessed Jack Ruby shoot Lee Harvey Oswald. But that was presented in fuzzy black and white. Over time the resolution improved. In ‘95 a man in San Diego stole a National Guard tank. He went on a rampage crushing cars before being shot by police, all captured live on-air.
I can’t back this up with any fact, but it’s my belief that the death of Daniel Jones in April of ‘98 was the tipping point for live broadcasts. Jones had been diagnosed with HIV. Upset with his treatment, or lack there of, by his health organization, he stopped his pick-up truck on the transition ramp between the 110 and 105 freeways, again in Los Angeles. To get attention he wanted, he began waving a shotgun at cars as the passed. The police were called and shutdown freeway and, while a squadron of TV choppers circled overhead, the Police tried to reason with Daniel. Sometime near 4PM, after setting his truck a blaze and with news cameras zoomed in tight close up, Daniel suddenly shoved the shotgun under his chin and pulled the trigger.
The public’s reaction to the images splashed across their screens was immediate and intense. The real concern being that it had been broadcast in the late afternoon, during peak of Children’s viewing. The latchkey kids were traumatized.
It was also late afternoon back in ‘74. While I too, watched unsupervised. As every available channel had their cameras focused on a small house in south LA. Over the next few hours, I watched spellbound as the Los Angeles Police department laid siege. Flipping through the channels I watched from multiple angles as the LAPD fired somewhere near 5000 rounds and dozens of tear gas canisters into that small building. While the people barricaded inside responded with improvised grenades and 4000 rounds of their own.
At some point, some two plus hours in to the battle, the house caught fire. I remember thinking now, surely, the people inside would surrender. The reporters said as much. My cadre of journalists were in agreement. But instead, we unflinchingly watched as six members of the Symbionese Liberation Army perished in the flames.
Last May 17th, 2024, was the 50th anniversary of that shootout. From time to time, whenever a channel I’m watching cuts to “Breaking News” I think of that afternoon in ‘74. The bouncing images, the plumes of smoke and dancing tendrils of flame that poured from the windows of that small house. The reporters and their random descriptions, perspectives and conjectures. Clearly indicating they had no more idea what was going to happen next than I did.
I think about how innocent I was and maybe how naive the news crews were, having so little experience as to presenting and curating that unplanned exhibition of violence. We drank from the visual fire hose without any semblance of restraint. Like combatants dealing with the fog of war we took friendly fire from our very own trusted TV.
Today, when I see a stand off or a barricaded suspect I’m aware of the nuances. Today’s news crews are now seasoned professionals. The slow cautious move in to close up and the sudden shift to wide shots. The quick panning away of the camera or abrupt cuts back to the studio. We’ve all grown up since then. Our media, at least from a technique and procedural standpoint, have greatly matured.
I, unfortunately, still have the images in my mind of the burning house and the knowledge there were people inside. Strangely, I still know nothing about the SLA, other than they kidnapped Patty Hearst, the newspaper heiress. I don’t know anything about their ideology. I could not tell you what they fought and died for all those years ago.
That is to say, I know more about how and why I was able to watch them die, than what fleeting ideals they died for.
Though, I guess I’m applying some noble purpose to their actions. Maybe they were just misguided bad people. Otherwise, I might know more. I mean, when I think of Hearst, I think of Citizen Kane. Still, a part of me wants to believe that what I witnessed had some meaning or purpose.
I’m left with one question. Did they knew they were on live TV? Did they know about the portable video cameras and the tele-choppers in the skies above them, capturing their last moments? Could they conceive of their massive audience, many children like myself, watching with a glass of Kool-aid and a PB&J as they burned to death?
Had the SLA shootout happened today, would it be different? In as much as they would be aware of the cameras and their audience? It’s been said, on 9/11 the second plane hit the South Tower sometime after the North Tower to allow time for news cameras to be set to capture the impact.
We may never know about 9/11, but I highly doubt media was a consideration back on that day in ‘74, but as I said on the outset, it was a different time.
