Punjab government takes big action against corruption, 52 policemen dismissed
The Punjab government is adopting a zero tolerance policy against corruption. In view of this, on Wednesday, Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav announced the dismissal of 52 police officers and employees on charges of corruption.

The Punjab government has announced to take a big action against corruption. 52 police officers involved in corruption have been dismissed, this includes employees from constable to inspector rank. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav gave this information in a press conference on Wednesday.
He clearly said that the police is adopting a zero tolerance policy in corruption cases. Corrupt people will not be tolerated in the police. Along with this, the process of filing e-FRER on the lines of Delhi Police will start in a month.
Muktsar DC was suspended two days ago. The Punjab government is continuously taking action against corruption.
Police will now expand the scope of online services
He said that along with this, Punjab Police is implementing a citizen-friendly system. Earlier, 43 services were provided online by the police. Along with this, its scope will also be increased now. About 60 services will be included in it. People will be able to avail these services from the common center or from home.
EFR system will be implemented
He said that apart from this, like Delhi Police, the police is also going to start e-FIR system. This will solve the complaints related to motor vehicles. Therefore, a state level e-police station will be notified. From where people's complaints will reach the concerned police station.
He said that if the complaint is not resolved within 21 days, an unrestricted report will be filed. For this we need the approval of the High Court. We have applied for it. He said that apart from this, if anything comes out during the investigation, its information will also be included.
DC of Muktsar Sahib was suspended
Last Monday, the Punjab government took another big action against corruption. In this, Muktsar Sahib DC Rajesh Tripathi has been suspended. The government took big action after receiving a corruption complaint against him. Earlier, the government had removed the head of Punjab Vigilance from his post.

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute, along with the School of Nursing, concluded the annual sports meet Ranbhoomi 2025 with full grandeur.
Over 1200 participants from Red, Green, Yellow & Blue House took part in over 2 dozen sporting events.
On the last day of this 4 days sporting extravaganza, we felicitated the winning team & players by gifting them trophy, medal & certificates.

In this context, young participants from Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School, Education City Jawanga of Geedam block, Dantewada District, Chhattisgarh, excelled in various disciplines at the District Level Youth Festival and Women’s Sports Competitions 2024–25, organized at Dantewada Indoor Stadium and Sports Ground.
On the orders of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Government of Chhattisgarh Raipur, the Dantewada District Sports and Youth Welfare Department and Nehru Yuva Kendra Dantewada, Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Government of India, organized the District Level Youth Festival and Women’s Sports Competitions in collaboration with the Education Department Dantewada.
Under the guidance of lecturer Amujuri Biswanath, young participants from Aastha Vidya Mandir Jawanga participated in science exhibitions, literature, and art competitions in group and solo disciplines. Under the guidance of PTI Mamta Dubey and Music Teachers Mukesh Kashyap and Girija Shankar Dewangan, students participated in sports and cultural events respectively.
Winners were selected for the Chhattisgarh State Level Youth Festival 2024–25 Raipur. Students Rajesh Kunjam and Hem Maurya were awarded Rs. 10,000 cash cheque for securing first place in the science model exhibition group category, while Pappu Bhardwaj and Manish Sahu received Rs. 7,000 cash cheque and prize for securing second place. Nitesh Madvi secured first place in the science model exhibition solo category, Ayush Jain got second place, Kashish Durgam secured first place in poetry and textile categories, Preeti Netam got second place, and Surobati Baghel secured first place in the handicraft exhibition. Kareena Nag secured first place in solo singing, Priyanka Korsa got second place in solo dance, Aditya Shivhare got second place in story writing, and Kavita Maurya got third place in agricultural product events. In singles events, first, second, and third place winners were awarded cash prizes of Rs. 1000, Rs. 700, and Rs. 500 respectively. The volleyball team of Aastha Vidya Mandir Jawanga secured first place, Suhani secured first place in wrestling, Pooja Mandavi got second place in badminton singles, and Sheetal Kudiyan and Lalita Gawade secured second place in badminton group events.
District Education Officer Dantewada SK Ambasta, District Mission Coordinator Harish Pratap Gautam, Sports Officer Pradeep Singh, District Youth Coordinator Officer Kumar Shivam, Block Education Officer Geedam Sheikh Rafiq, Assistant Block Education Officer Bhavani Punem, Block Resource Coordinator Geedam Jitendra Singh Chauhan, Aastha Vidya Mandir Principal Gopal Pandey, Music College Principal Suresh Yadav, Rajneesh Oswal, Cluster Coordinator Nitin Vishwakarma, Superintendents Ravi Prakash Thakur, Krishna Tekam, Vice Principals Pramod Gupta, Rabindranath Panigrahi, Prakash Gupta, and teachers congratulated and wished the student participants. In this program, lecturer Amujuri Biswanath, PTI Mamta Dubey, Hemant Sahu, Surendra Kumar Soni, music teacher Mukesh Kashyap, Girija Shankar Devangan, and Nathuram Anant contributed to guiding the children and running the event smoothly.
