I just realized that my Dragapult is a girl while Leon’s is a boy. I remembered this when I battled him. I wondered if you could make a fluffy story about Leon and his S/O’s dragapults falling in love-either before they started dating or afterwards
This is a great ask! I have a handful of ideas for it too. Don’t let me name things fyi
“Why are there eggs EVERYWHERE?”
Female reader, mostly fluff, Leon and reader are dating
Perhaps the two of you had bonded over your love of Dragapults. Whatever the reason was, you were completely happy with your boyfriend, Champion Leon.
You both had a Dragapult on your team too. They seemed to be best friends, which made you and Leon giggle.
At least… You thought they were friends.
You were upstairs working on breakfast, when you heard Leon SCREECH from downstairs. You put breakfast on pause, and raced to see what was wrong with your boyfriend.
As soon as you appeared, Leon pointed at your two Dragapult’s curled up together, with six eggs accompanying them.
You blinked in surprise.
“Did they… Did they have babies?”
Leon nodded.
Your hands went up to your hair.
“We can’t take care of this many baby Dreepy…”
Leon practically whimpered, “But babyyyyy… Can’t we just look after them for a little while?”
You sighed.
“Fine.”
The next few days were mostly spent caring for the eggs. Leon even took “paternity leave” from his job as Champion, which made Rose question if you two expecting a child.
Your Dragapult’s were proud parents the entire time, patiently waiting for their children to make their appearance.
One day, early in the morning, the eggs began to jitter and shake. You and Leon gasped, leaning in closer to the cluster.
One by one, the eggs each cracked, and baby Dreepy slid out of the shells. Leon was cooing at each baby as they were born.
Once each baby was corralled by their parents, you finally got to naming the babies. The eldest was male, so Leon named him Smog. The second born was also male, and frankly, was serious from birth, so his name was Mr. Business. The third was a girl, so you agreed on the name Lochness. The fourth was also male, and he was named Creature (you were starting to run out of ideas). The fifth was called Banjo, also male, for no particular reason other than you both found it funny. And the last one was female, so you called her Cannoli.
With six baby Dreepy, all named and squealing, you and Leon quickly realized you weren’t ready for parenthood. So naturally, they were all given to your friends as gifts.
Banjo went to Hop, and it was love at first sight. Leon gave Mr. Business to Sonia, who immediately made him a helper around the lab. Lochness went to Nessa for obvious reasons, and Gloria got Smog. Raihan plucked up Cannoli, and you gave Creature to Allister, who was immediately attached.
Everyone loved their new pets, and you and Leon were happy to have an emptier house again. The parents were still able to go visit their babies often, and watch them grow up.
Your Dragapult’s were neutered the next day.

Go ahead and freely use this ask to infodump on your Pokemon SWSH sexuality, gender, or other headcanons :3
Hehe Hop: -Hc name is Hop Arce Laventon, Arce is his father's last name -Speaks both spanish and english, could not help making him a lil hispanic -Youngest of his friend group, he's 15 and a few months younger than Gloria and Victor -Looks more like his mother, also has a name very similar to hers (I hc their mother's name as Hope) -I hc he goes by any pronouns but mainly uses He/him. He's non binary to me, a little butch, overall pretty comfortable in his own body. I think he'd get more social gender dysphoria (being misgendered, not called by the right name, etc) rather than body dysphoria -I also like to hc him as an asexual Biromantic, no preference -He and Gloria are very close, considered platonic soulmates. They camped together all the time during the gym challenge. They met when they were kids, around 4? Leon introduced them. Hop didn't have any friends as a kid, he also struggled to speak and spent most of his time playin with Leon or just playing alone, it worried him a lil so he tried to introduce him to some of the kids in postwick. When his mom was out, Hop often stayed at Gloria's and Victor's home. -Hc that he got scorbunny. When Gloria was picking, he was silently hoping she wouldn't pick it. Hop wanted scorbunny not just because of Milo, also because fire types are the rarer type between fire, water and grass -Salty over Marnie and Bede getting growth spurts and getting taller than him. He's the second shortest of the group
-Likes to bully Leon a little
-Holds grudges and remembers them. He still has a grudge over Raihan grabbing his wooloo plush and holding it over his head like 10 years ago, main reason he doesn’t like him today.
-I also think that when he gets angry (actually angry), he acts passive aggressive instead of yelling. He does this with a smile on Gloria: -Hc name is Gloria Knight -Shortest of the group (5'2) -Younger than Vic by 30 minutes, both are 15 -During the gym challenge, loved to run off and bite more than she could chew by fighting pokemon way above her team's level. When she got hurt, Hop was usually the one to patch her up, she'd get scolded but always try again -Got through the gym challenges rather easily, the only one she struggled with was Gordie's, she's rather impatient and found the whole mechanic annoying. She still does not shut up about this -Ended up becoming Champion. She has Zacian as her legendary, though she tries not to lean to much on it during her battles. She absolutely steals the cape idea from Leon, he's salty over it
-I think that personality wise, she’d be very chaotic and energetic, jumping from one place to the other. She’s also the impatient one of the group. -She loves to gossip, she's also obsessed with love stories, ironically enough. She's nosy with everyones lives except Victor, -Overprotective of her friends. After Hop lost to Bede in the gym challenge, Gloria death glared at Bede up until the 5th gym, when she joined her when she was camping (Gloria was not invited) and kind of passively-aggressively asked what Bede's deal was.
-Pushed Victor off a small cliff just to see what would happen, he has a small scar on his leg. She also likes to playfully bully him. I hc her as aromantic and ace, she loves love stories but does not want one of her one. She figured this out after Hop's mom kept teasing about the possibility of Gloria n Hop being a couple and they decided to (awkwardly) give it a go. I don't think she'd care much about gender, or even view it as an important concept tbh. She's just Gloria. I think she'd go by She/He pronouns My Hc team for her: Inteleon (starter, she chose sobble) Braviary Runegirus Magnezone Haxarous Victor: -Hc name is Victor Knight -Second tallest -Definitely the more anxious of the twins, unlike Gloria, who tends to run head first into danger, he prefers to be cautious. -Is somehow the luckiest of the group, he finds rare pokemon all the time, he's found a few shines too, he's only caught one though. He also found a dreepy sleeping in his hat when Leon was stayin over at the start of the game, he might have accidentally stolen one of Leon's dragapult's dreepys lol -Has a shiny cinccino he babies, he spends around 30 minutes every morning brushing it's hair. Refuses to let Gloria battle with it because he knows she would not take care of it's fur. His cinccino loves to play with Marnie's morpeko -He falls in love with every pretty face he sees. He was gushing about gym challengers all throughout the gym challenge and Gloria was tired of it. He's probably had a small crush on Marnie, Bede and Hop at least once -I like to think he likes to help his mom out with her garden, as well as helpin with her flower shop. -Gloria likes to mess with him by refering to him as her little brother. Gloria and Victor bicker a lot -He goes through the Crown of Tundra dlc, and he's the one who catches Calyrex. He also catches the galarian legendary birds (with some help). After this, he decides he wants to stay at freezington to study the tundra and why the birds decided to stay there, he stays there for years. (Gloria is definitely not emotional) -Got a few scars from his time at the tundra. He also visits once a year, he uses that week to catch up with Gloria, Hop, Marnie and Bede.
I have no interesting gender headcannons for him sorrry, he's a he/him although he doesn't mind what he's called. I do think he's pansexual, maybe a lil polyamorous
My hc team for him:
Rillaboom (starter) Dragapult Cinccino Salazzle Gastrodon
Marnie:
Hc name is Marnie Cameron -Going with gender headcannon first cause of pronouns. I hc Marnie as a transmasc bigender, he/him. He doesn't really care much about how he dresses; he doesn't get much dysphoria either. I also think he'd be bi -Second oldest, he's 16
-Sonia used to babysit him when he was younger when Piers was busy. Marnie goes to bother her sometimes when he's bored
-Definitely a foodie, loves to eat, he'll often drag Victor, Bede, Hop or Gloria to a new food place just to check it out. Somehow appears out of nowhere when one of them is making curry
-Plays guitar, he has a red electric guitar, looks like a flying V. He doesn’t let anyone grab it
-Has nicknames for almost everyone. (Hop = Hoppip, Bede = Cotton, Victor = Vic, Vicky, Gloria = Glo, Champ)
-Has accidentally stolen clothes from the rivals. He has two of Hop’s shirts, one of Gloria’s skirts and one of Vic’s hats.
-Sends his morpeko to steal Bede’s food when they eat together. He also likes to bully Bede, jokes that being blonde is a sign there’s something deeply evil going on
-Closer to Victor and Hop. Also likes to bother Victor by messing with his hat and pullin it down to cover his eyes -Lives with Piers, mother is out of the picture. Bede: The hc name I use for Bede is usually Bede Hibaru cause that's the last name i hc his bio parents to have. I use Bede Poisonmaker (Oleana) or Bede Roseary (Rose) sometimes though Gender hccc, I think Bede is transfem, He/She, doesn't really care what pronouns you call him as long as you don't refer to him as a guy. Gets a lot of body gender dysphoria. I also think she'd be sapphic -Oldest, 16 and a few months older than Marnie -Born in Kitakami, lived with parents for a few years before bein abandoned. He only has foggy memories of his parents, he doesn't care much about them, she does remember their pokemon though -Closest to Gloria overall, she's the one who helped her with the Rose stuff. She's also the one who makes sure Bede gets out sometimes and doesn't stay all her time at the gym. Gloria loves to take him shopping. They get matching earrings when they're older -Bickers with his hatterenne a lot. Has a few bite marks because his mawile chews on his arm, he got used to it. He also has a few scars on his hands from when she was looking for wishing stars -Raihan keeps bothering him (I think Raihan is very chatty and likes to get to know new gym leaders) -Hop's dubwool hates him, Bede has gotten stuck in a tree cause it would not stop trying to tackle him
-Dislikes bitter stuff, loves sweets. Hates coffee in specific. Sometimes he’ll dump spoons of sugar into his drink. She loves to go to random cafés.
Sonia: Hc name is Sonia Sparks -Raised in Spikemuth, dad is from there. Lived there up until she was 12, she then went to live with her grandma -Childhood friends with Piers, when Sonia went to live in Postwick they lost touch, met again in the gym challenge -Had trouble defeating Kabu back during the gym challenge, almost quit, her ninetales comes from his challenge. She quit after the 4th gym
-Disastrous love life. Dated Leon before her transition as kids, broke up after she quit the gym challenge. Was in a relationship with Nessa before deciding they were better off as friends
-Takes naps during the afternoon and stays up late (usually until 2 or 3 am). Definitely not a morning person, very grumpy if woken up. Wakes up late too.
-Loves to drink coffee, has a yamper mug. She saved up for a coffee machine in her kitchen.
-Her n Raihan sometimes share clothes since they have the same body shape.
-Goes on a girl’s night with Nessa (n sometimes Raihan) every month. Leon is not allowed to accompany anymore.
-A few months younger than Leon, both are 25.
-Was very mean as a kid (I like to imagine she was exactly like Bede as a kid). She was very angry too.
-Used to be taller than Leon during the gym challenge. He had a growth spurt after becoming champion.
-I hc Sonia as a trans girl (she/her), realized a few days before she quit the gym challenge. I also think she’s a lesbian.
-Has a ninetales, rotom, yamper and (gigantamax) butterfree. There’s also a few pokemon she keeps in the lab to study, Victor gifted a dreepy to the lab
Raihan:
Hc name is Raihan Everfrost
-Used to be very shy as a kid, clung to Sonia all the time. Didn’t speak that much either. Sometimes hid behind Leon, even though he was taller.
-Raised in freezington, used to wearing warm clothes, so when he visited the mainland he was shocked by the weather. Had an orange scarf gifted to him by his dad. Adoptive dad is the mayor of freezington. Even after moving to Hammerlock, he still visits his dad at least once every 5 months, texts him often.
-Raihan found Leon in freezington a few months before the gym challenge when Leon got lost and somehow ended up in freezington. Raihan met Sonia when she came to pick Leon up.
-Leon was the one who suggested Raihan try the gym challenge.
-Raihan’s vision isn’t the best, his duraludon helped him with navigation back at freezington and during the challenge. After becoming a gym leader, he got contacts to help him see better (still not a perfect vision) but they’re uncomfortable if worn for a long time so he only uses them in public. His contacts also make his eyes seem very blue, his natural ones are a grey-ish color.
-Very social person, doesn’t like being alone, he also feels lonely easily. He visits Sonia and Leon when he can, usually when they’re working. If Gordie’s free he also visits him.
-Has scars from when he got too close to some of the pokemon in freezington, the more recent ones are from accidents during battles. His duraludon also likes to bite. He also has a scar from when Leon’s charizard bit him.
-Has a small pokemon daycare at the gym where he takes care of injured pokemon, usually has a few dragon types.
-While visiting his dad he found an abandoned pokemon egg. He refused to let it out of his sight until it hatched. A shiny snom hatched from the egg and he brings it everywhere. The snom likes to shoot icicles at him when it wants attention.
-Very common Raihan hc but I like to think he has fangs
-A year older than Sonia and Leon (26)
-My hc is that Raihan’s genderfluid, usually doesn’t mind pronouns but on days where he does, he wears colored bracelets that Sonia made for him. Goes by He/She. He’s also a disaster bi in my mind.
Leon
-Hc name is Leonel Arce Laventon
-His fashion sense are just t-shirts, snapbacks and jeans. Maybe a jacket or two. Has an unhealthy amount of snapbacks, at least 40 different designs. Raihan is getting a little worried.
-Lives in Wyndon, his apartment is there. Hop goes to visit him sometimes. -His first name is Leonel (which is what he's called in the spanish version of swsh, fun fact) he just doesn't bother by telling people. Raihan only found out years after knowing Leon. Sonia always knew.
-His hair is naturally black; he just dyes it purple so that he can match Hop. Also reminds him less of his dad
-Takes at least 15 minutes in the morning to comb through his hair, it gets tangled easily.
-Has very good eyesight, as long as he isn’t too close. He’s a bit far sighted. He does have glasses for this but he doesn’t like wearing them.
-Lightweight drinker, gets drunk easily. In contrast, Sonia has a high tolerance.
-Doesn’t like talking about his dad, gets quiet whenever he’s mentioned. He also looks a lot like him, which is the main reason why Leon made some changes to his appearance after he left.
-Wants the best for Hop, but sometimes he’s a little overbearing. He always thinks he could do better.
-Almost got lost in the slumbering weald as a kid because Hop convinced him to go in. Hop has also told him many lies as kids, some he still believes today. It doesn’t help that Sonia did the same during the gym challenge
-Like Sonia, has a disastrous love life, most of the time he doesn’t act
-Honestly, I don’t have a set gender hc for Leon, it’s just. I don’t know. I mostly go with the hc that he goes by any pronouns and doesn’t really care for gender. I do think he’s some flavor of trans. He’s also a disaster gay in my mind, falls for every pretty boy he sees.
TY FOR THE ASK!! i'm goin to add some hc doodles in the reblogs cause it will not let me ‹/3

The Summoning (ch. six)
FT. Leon x Gym Leader!F!Reader
series m.list
WARNINGS: This chapter seems all over the place, but I promise it’ll come together towards the end. I made some interesting choices when it came to certain characters, but I believe that each choice works well with the story. I didn’t proofread this too well, so if there’s any major mistakes, please let me know!
Hammerlocke stadium towered over Gloria as she stood before it. For some reason, this gym seemed much more intimidating than the others. She had to stop and make sure that she was ready, despite training nonstop since she left your gym. Hop didn’t, however, and had run along to challenge the gym’s leader. Marnie was nowhere to be found, but Gloria didn’t mind. She had mentioned a while back that she was set to be the next gym leader of Spikemuth. Bede had gone missing too, but she thought he’d be fine. He seemed independent enough anyhow.
The battle against you had shaken her some. She knew her strength, but fighting against you made her doubt herself. That’s why she was apprehensive about facing Raihan. If you were able to make her question her every move, then what would Raihan do to her? She shook her head, hesitating to take a step forward. To the untrained eye, she looked like an anxious gym challenger, yet to those that she challenged, they’d recognize her resolve crumbling. Up until now she had sailed through the gym challenge, simply due to observing those around her. But you… you had honestly frightened her.
Seeing that video of you battling the Kommo-o had just unnerved her further. She was thankful she didn’t witness it, seeing as she would’ve been to paralyzed by fear to escape. You were just that powerful.
She sighed. She didn’t have the time to think about that right now. She needed to defeat Raihan. Gloria looked down at the Pokéballs strapped to her waist. She could feel that things were going to gradually get more intense, she just didn’t know how. She thought back to the stories her mother would tell her before she passed. Each region has had a crisis with its legendary Pokémon in recent years, which Gloria believed to be part of a bigger picture. The most recent one was a few years ago when the Alolan region had things called ‘ultra wormholes’ open up. Researchers and trainers from all over jumped at the opportunity to see the phenomena, including her mother. Different wormholes led to different worlds, some that were even inhabited by human-like beings and Pokémon.
Gloria sighed. She was getting ahead of herself. She needed to defeat Leon before she could do anything about Alola. Her mind wandered off to her encounter with Zacian back in the Slumbering Wield. For whatever reason, Hop hadn’t seen it. Instead, Zamazenta had been the one to reveal itself to him. But why? How had those two legendary Pokémon picked them? What had led up to that decision? She sighed again. Her bloodline meant something to them. Hop’s too. Could they have possibly fought alongside them in a past life?
Hop suddenly rushed out of Hammerlocke stadium, running straight for her. She jumped at the sight of him. If only he were aware that he was a small piece in a much bigger puzzle.
“He beat me! He beat me!” He wailed, throwing himself into Gloria’s arms dramatically. She chuckled before pushing him away. Hop himself was a strong trainer, it was his emotions that he let run him. That’s mostly what caused him to lose. “He’s really strong, Gloria! Make sure you’re prepared!” She shook her head. She was always prepared.
She began to sign out her words. Her hearing aid hadn’t been working for quite some time, which made it a struggle for her to get through the gym challenge. She planned on getting a new one with the money she saved up from her gym challenge, but that wouldn’t be for another month or so. It was unfortunate.
‘What is his trial like?’ She signed out slowly, since Hop wasn’t exactly too quick with his Galarian Sign Language. She stopped and looked at him, glancing at his lips every now and then as he formulated a response.
“Oh it’s simply awful!” Hop whined, grabbing her by the shoulders and shaking her. “He drags out three of his gym trainers and makes you prove your worth! That’s it! But they’re soooo strong!!!” He groaned and hung his head. He was such a character. Always dramatic. Gloria smiled, nodding in response.
‘See you on the other side,’ she responded, grinning at him. Hop frowned and pouted at her.
“You’ve got this, Gloria! Kick his butt on my behalf!” He waved her off and ran in the direction of the PokéCenter. She watched as he left, gripping the straps of her bag tightly. She then turned to face the looming building that was Hammerlocke stadium. She swallowed nervously. This was simply just another step in her challenge.
She began to walk across the bridge, taking her time with each step. This battle would be easy. Hopefully. According to sources, Raihan wasn’t in it for the game, but for the thrill of battle. If she could throw him off with strategy, then she’d continue on undefeated. Gloria pushed past the doors to the gym lobby. Raihan met her there.
“Yo! I’ve been waiting for ya!” He grinned, showcasing his weirdly sharp teeth. She cringed. “Follow me.”
꧁ ༺ ─── ˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ ─── ༻ ꧂
You sat in your living room, your head between your hands as you stared down at your floor. Piers had since gone back to Spikemuth, promising to return later to check in on you. Leon however, was sitting across from you, his eyes full of worry. He didn’t know what to say or what to do that could make you feel just a bit better. He felt… guilty.
“Leon. Eternatus is clearly trying to get ahold of me,” you started out, “but why? Why is Opal’s family connected to it? What connections did they have to the Darkest Day? And…” you looked up slowly, your eyes meeting his. Realization had struck you. “It’s not just me,” you muttered in awe, your mouth slightly agape.
“What do you mean? Is Eternatus reaching out to people other than you?” He cocked his head to the side, racking his brain to make sense of the situation.
“That child, Gloria, and your brother Hop. They encountered the sword and the shield Pokémon in the Slumbering Wield a day or so ago, right? Those Pokémon hadn’t been seen in nearly two hundred years before that. Think about it, they must be able to sense that something dangerous is happening in the region,” you got up and walked over to the bookshelf that stood in the corner of the room. Dozens of history filled books lined the shelves, each of them provided by Opal. You scanned the shelves, your eyes landing on a book that you had seen many times before. You just hadn’t been aware of its significance up until now. “There must be something important about the both of those children that caused them to show themselves…” you slowly opened up the book, skimming through its pages manically. There was something in particular that you just needed to confirm. Sure enough. There it was.
A drawn out family tree of Opal’s bloodline took up two full pages, and two more families followed it. Opal’s handwriting was at the bottom of the page, drawing you into the generation. On the next set of pages was a tree of names that you couldn’t recognize. The last name added to the tree was a child, descendant of Adriana, named Gloria.
“Leon…” you whispered, turning around with the book in your hands. You continued to scan its contents, your eyes reading over each name on the tree. You hesitated to turn the page. Another, slightly shorter family tree met your eyes. The latest addition to the line was a child, descendant of Cedrinne, named Hop. Opal had documented their births, which ultimately connected them to you. “Look…” you passed off the book to him. You weren’t quite sure what this meant. And you couldn’t remember if you had any more of Opal’s old books that explained the significance of it all. You looked back at the bookshelf and then back at Leon.
If Opal’s ancestors were worshippers of the being that was Eternatus, then what were Gloria and Hop’s? Were they firm believers in the sword and shield Pokémon? Had they worshipped them? Were there hidden statues in their honor? You felt your heartbeat grow faster, now pounding within your chest. What did this mean? The world spun around you. This felt horribly surreal. Two fifteen year olds and a twenty something year old had been picked by Pokémon that were powerful beyond belief and for what? Was it them that would save the region?
“I…” Leon looked up at you, his eyes widening. You looked pale, and you had broken out into a cold sweat. “Are you alright?” He asked slowly. Setting aside the book, he got up and reached for you, to which you rejected.
“We need to go to the clearing,” you blurted out. “I’m going to see if I can get answers. I need answers.” You pushed past him, grabbing your coat and sliding it over your arms. You struggled to put on your shoes, your hands shaking terribly. Leon rushed to follow you.
“How are you even going to do that?” His tone was filled with nothing other than worry as he copied your movements. Once he had his coat on, he waited for your next move. You seemed frantic, and it was bothering him. He wasn’t sure why, but it was.
“I’m going to reach out to it this time. The last time I saw it, I was shown the true importance of that area. If I can just get it to show me more, then maybe I’ll be able to piece some of this together and have it finally make sense. And maybe then we can formulate a plan to deal with Eternatus and Rose.” You walked briskly, pushing past various tree branches that blocked your path. This plan needed to work. If it didn’t, then you’d be at a total loss. Everything would have been for nothing and Eternatus would then be unstoppable.
“Y/n…” The man behind you stammered, holding his phone in his hands. You payed him no mind and continued on. “Y/n!” He raised his voice slightly, which caused you to jump. Slowly, you turned around to face him. “Hop and his friends… they beat Raihan…” Your expression fell. Shit! You thought that you would have more time to figure out a plan together. Now… now he was leaving. Now you’d be back to square one.
“Damnit,” you huffed, looking at him with a pained expression. You didn’t want him to leave. Not yet, anyways. You needed him. After all he had done to help you, you needed him! “Well, I suppose you ought to get back to Wyndon,” you frowned, hanging your head slightly. “I’ll let you know if I come up with anything, alright? I don’t doubt that they’ll want me to participate in the competition, so I’ll be seeing you soon enough,” you paused, “just don’t get lost.”
“Got it,” he nodded, giving you a wide smile. A heat rose to your cheeks. “Just be careful out here. I’ll…” he cleared his throat, “I’ll see you soon.” Leon turned his back to you and began heading back to your house.
You continued on to the clearing. It somehow looked much more dead than the last time you were here, as if the life had been drained from it entirely. The statue stood before you in all its glory. You felt the strength of its presence. The hairs on the back of your neck rose. An overwhelming feeling washed over you, and suddenly everything went black.
Your eyes were wide open, yet you couldn’t see anything. Scared, you called out, sticking your arms out to feel for something you could lean on. There was nothing. In fact, you couldn’t even hear the ambience of the forest anymore. You turned around and your sight returned. Eternatus was in front of you, seemingly restless. It was as if it wanted something from you.
Hesitantly, you stepped forward, hoping to touch it. Your hand was a few centimeters away when the scenery changed. The two of you were back in the clearing, right next to the statue, which appeared to be in pretty rough condition. The creature let out a cry.
“What do you want from me?” You asked, frustrated. It wouldn’t give you answers. It couldn’t. The thought upset you. If it had been putting you through all of this, then why couldn’t it answer a simple question? Eternatus stood still, its silence eerie. The sound of footsteps made you redirect your attention. Your eyes widened. “Opal…”
The woman appeared to be a bit older than the last time you had seen her, and behind her followed a teenage version of yourself. “I’ve told you before that this is our history, but I’ve never told you why,” the older woman smiled, her eyes focused on the statue. She turned to face the younger you, gesturing for you to come closer. She had a far off look in her eye that made your heart clench. Oh how you missed her.
Opal cleared her throat before sitting down gently on the grass. “Come now, child. This story is quite a long one.” You looked at Eternatus. So this was its way of responding to you. You looked back at Opal and yourself. It had been here all along. A gasp escaped you at the sudden realization.
“A very long time ago, an event called the Darkest Day took place. It caused the Pokémon in the region to dynamax randomly, which led to chaos. That statue right there is a depiction of the creature that caused all of that chaos. It fed off of the energy that dynamaxing provided up until the two kings defeated it. With the help of the sword and the shield Pokémon, they were able to save the region and capture the creature. But they didn’t know what to do with it. Would they bury it? Would they turn it in? Well, they didn’t do either of those things. The brothers chose to pass it off to the region’s strongest line of psychics,” she grinned, “those psychics, dear child, are my ancestors. They entrusted them to properly handle the situation, to which they decided to trap its soul within the statue. Since then, it’s been a tradition to prepare the next in line for the responsibility of their choice. We look after it.
“You see, each of the women in my bloodline has had a connection to this being. Some have even reported to see it in their dreams,” she sighed and placed a hand on your shoulder. “I’m not sure if you’ll be able to do the same, due to your situation and relation to the family,” Opal paused, her eyes searching yours, “I believe that if it wants to reach out to you, then it will find a way. I’ve no doubt that it can sense that you’re now a member of the family. And while I understand that this is very exciting for a child your age, I need you to understand that this is a dangerous being. The statue must never break, or its soul will return to its body, do you understand—“
The memory faded away slowly. Opal had been the last thing to dissolve, which only hurt your heart more. Vast nothingness now surrounded you and Eternatus.
“You…” you muttered, staring at it in awe. “You want to be freed of this curse…” you trailed off slowly. “But… if you’re still in the statue when Rose awakens your physical body, then what? Won’t you just go anyway?” The Pokémon roared at your question. “I’m guessing that’s a no…” A sudden shock ran through your body, causing you to gasp.
“Save… me…” a deep and powerful voice echoed within your head. It sounded incredibly raspy, its words hardly intelligible. Shivers ran down your spine. You had no clue that it could communicate.
“But… I can’t!” You took a step back. “You’re stuck here for a reason! How am I supposed to believe that you won’t go with Rose when your body is awakened? This is dangerous. You’re dangerous. I refuse to put my region at risk.” It roared. Opal’s voice suddenly met your ears.
“You misunderstand… child…” each word was choppy, as if Eternatus was sifting through its memories to get to you. “I’m… right here. Rose… won’t… have me.” You groaned and covered your ears, shutting out the voice.
“Stop that! I’m not letting you out!” You shouted, taking another step back from it. You stumbled and fell. When you landed, the void around you had disappeared, the original sight of the clearing greeting you. The statue’s aura seemed much more intense than when you had gotten there, and it unnerved you. Slowly, you rose to your feet. You did your best to dust off the dirt from your rear before inspecting the statue. Everything seemed fine. No cracks or anything.
A loud, shrill cry suddenly met your ears. The sound was followed by a few thunderous footsteps. Each one shook the forest floor, and each one brought it closer to you. Horror struck you as you stared. Above you towered a dynamaxed Espurr, a Pokémon that was said to not have any control over its psychic abilities. You panicked as you felt around for at least one of your Pokéballs. Quickly, you threw out the first one you could find. Polteageist.
The Espurr cried out and stomped its foot, causing a few of the nearby trees to fall. Your heart sank. The trees weren’t the only thing that had fallen. The statue was now on the ground, reduced to nothing but tiny pieces. A black cloud flew from the rubble and into the sky. That must’ve been Eternatus’ soul. It vanished in an instant, taking the dynamaxed energy away from the Espurr and knocking it unconscious.
“Oh no…” you muttered, looking up at the sky.

There was nothing more Leon feared than losing. Without his title as the champion, he'd be nothing. He sat in his private locker rooms, his head hung between his shoulders. From everything that Hop had told him, Gloria sure was a force to be reckoned with. Even Raihan admitted that he had a tough time battling her. He was proud of the girl for making it so far into the gym challenge, but he had a nagging feeling. If Gloria was strong enough to take both you and Raihan out on the first go, then what did that mean for him? Would he too struggle and inevitably lose?
He frowned. Being the champion was all he had ever known. He had remained undefeated since the tender age of ten, taking down the former champion at eleven. All he had ever really gotten the chance to do with his life was fight. Now he regretted it. He wished he had chosen something different as his passion. It was too late now, however. Leon was doomed to repeat an endless cycle of repetitive winning.
The intercom crackled as the speaker called for all of the challengers to make their ways to the locker rooms for further information. The first round of preliminary battles were about to take place. There were four singular challengers. Only one, if any, would be able to claim the title as champion.
Leon sat up, turning to look at the wall beside him. He wondered if you had managed to discover anything in reference to Eternatus. He couldn't help but worry. You had seemed so sure of yourself when he left, plus you had yet to send him any kind of message-
His phone suddenly began to ring. He picked it up immediately, holding to his ear as he waited for you to begin speaking.
"Leon this is bad," you sounded out of breath, as if you had been running. His heart sank. "Leon this is so bad. Eternatus' soul was trapped inside the statue! It wanted me to free it, and I told it no, but right after that a dynamaxed Espurr appeared and fucking knocked it over!! Leon! That accursed thing broke the statue!" your voice wavered. You were panicked, and now, of course, Leon was too. "If it get's back to its physical form, then we're done for! All of that research, all of that hard work we put in- wasted! Leon Galar is fucking doomed!" He heard you let out a sob. "It's all my fault..."
"Hey hey hey- wait- um," he choked on his words. Fuck. Eternatus was free. That meant that he and you were staring the inevitable doom of the region in the face. "You need to tell Rose. He needs to know what's going on. Where are you? I'm heading out. Hey, take a deep breath. We'll put a stop to this."
You sniffled, holding your breath to prevent you from letting out another sob. "I'm at my place... the boys are out at the gym... if they found me like this I- fuck..." You mumbled, simply verbalizing your current thoughts. Leon sighed and stood up. You hung up, leaving him alone with his thoughts. If he wasn't scared before, he definitely was now. He grabbed his cape and threw it over his shoulders before briskly walking out into the lobby. Several fans stopped him, but he pushed onward. Oh if only they knew the amount of trouble they were in.
He managed to grab a flying taxi and head out to Ballonlea. He tipped the cabby and rushed towards your house. The sky was dark. A storm was coming.
Dread filled him as he set foot in Ballonlea. The weight of his current situation was just now beginning to hit him. He was at a loss. If Eternatus was free, then what did that mean for Rose’s plan? His heart sank. If the soul and the body had been separated, then there was a chance that Eternatus was trying to get back to stop the use of its body. Unfortunately, the chances of that being the case were slim.
You came into his line of sight, your eyes puffy from crying. Without warning, you ran up to him, wrapping your arms around him and burying your face in his chest. A sob escaped you. Leon could feel his own eyes begin to water. He couldn’t tell if this was the end and it scared him. He hesitated to return your embrace. His heart throbbed in his chest. The moment felt so incredibly bittersweet that he didn’t know if he wanted it to last forever or not. Having you so close to him reminded him of how much you meant to him. You were everything.
After a few minutes, he let you go, taking a step back so you could collect yourself. It didn’t take you long to catch your breath before you led him back to your house. You stared down at the ground the whole time, your eyes focused on nothing in particular. It hurt him to see you in such a state. You looked broken, and there wasn’t anything he could do to help fix that. He frowned and looked away.
You opened the front door and let him in, avoiding looking directly into his eyes. You feared that he would get mad at you. Actually, you hoped that he would. You wanted him to put the blame on you and accept things as they were. If he did that, then maybe it’d be easier for him to handle it. Oh what were you thinking. You’d fall apart if he blamed you. Yet you felt you deserved it.
With a sigh, you sat down onto the couch. Bede and Allister were still out, blissfully unaware of what was soon to come. Your lip quivered slightly as you thought about what to say. Was there even anything you could say? ‘Sorry I fucked up and now the region is done for.’
“It’s not your fault.” Leon’s words pulled you from your thoughts. You turned to look at him with teary eyes. “How were you supposed to know that was going to happen?”
“But I—“ you sniffled, looking back down at the floor. He walked over and sat next to you, wrapping his arm around you. “Opal chose me to watch over it… and I—“ you cut yourself off with a sob. Leon pulled you closer to him and rested his head atop of yours. He wished he could offer you some advice. He really wanted to be able to tell you that everything would be fine.
But he just didn’t know.
He pulled away and grabbed you by the shoulders. His eyes searched yours in silence, as he was too awestruck by your beauty to form a sentence. He swallowed nervously. “I don’t know if this is the end or not, but I wanted to tell you that I’m so glad that I got the opportunity to know you better,” he took a second to gather his thoughts, “I wouldn’t want it to be anyone else…” he could feel himself beginning to tear up. If only he could tell you just how much he loved you. But now wasn’t the time. It would never be the time.
“I…” you sighed. Suddenly you were at a loss for words. Your heart ached, and you longed to tell him how you yearned for him, but you knew you couldn’t. You feared that now wasn’t an appropriate time. But if not now, then when? “Leon… I never thought I’d grow close to you. But… I’m happy that I did. I… I’m not sure if it’s all going to end soon, so I wanted to say—“
He leaned in and gently placed his lips against yours. When he leaned back, he saw your widened eyes and panicked. He quickly scooted back, looking away out of embarrassment. He could feel his face burning.
“S-Sorry! I-I thought that— and uh— um…” he trailed off, his voice rising in pitch the longer he spoke. It had been so long since the last time he had felt this embarrassed. He wanted to disappear.
“Can you do that again?” You asked slowly, reaching out and placing a hand on his arm. His head whipped around, his eyes wide as he stared at you. He couldn’t believe that you were serious. In fact, he was overjoyed. Forget about the world possibly ending, the one he’s in love with just asked him for another kiss. He could actually die in peace now.
Experimentally, he placed his hand on your cheek, his thumb caressing the skin gently. He then leaned in, planting another kiss on your lips. You leaned into it this time, placing your hand atop his. You could feel him smile before he pulled away.
“I think I might—“ Leon was interrupted by the sound of the door practically being kicked open. Instinctively, he scooted away from you, his eyes widened.
“Y/n!” Bede screamed, nearly tripping over his own feet when he saw you in the living room. He was horribly out of breath, and his eyes were wide with fear. You rushed over to him. He grabbed you by your shoulders and let out a choked sob. “A-Allister’s Mimikyu dynamaxed while we were out! I t-tried to stop it, but it t-took out my team so fast a-and… he said he’d be able to handle it b-but…!” You stopped him, your expression serious.
“Stay here with Leon,” your voice quivered slightly. Allister didn’t have any other Pokémon besides Mimikyu, so how was he going to take it down? Wait a second… you recalled seeing another Pokéball in his room, but you were sure that this mystery Pokémon wasn’t strong enough to take down Mimikyu. You looked back at Leon briefly before rushing out of the house.
Thunder rolled in the distance, nearly covering up the loud cry of a Pokémon that came from the Glimwood Tangle. You ran off in the direction, making sure you had Chandelure ready. You hoped that you’d be able to reach it in time, and feared what would happen if you didn’t. The world flew by as you ran, the cries gradually growing closer.
A soft groan met your ears, causing your heart to sink. You ran out into a clearing where the enraged Mimikyu had settled. To your left stood Allister, and in front of him was a tired looking Dusclops. You ran over to him and pushed him to the side. In the same movement, you brought out Chandelure, giving it free rein over the battle. You grabbed the child, looking at him with teary eyes. His mask was broken, hanging off of his face and revealing one of his eyes. He looked horrified, as did you.
You got up and turned around, watching as Chandelure fought off the Pokémon. You began to aid it, calling out moves and commands. Now that you were between it and Allister, you could rest easy. But not too easy. See, the thing with Allister’s Mimikyu was that it was by far one of the strongest Pokémon you had ever seen. You had just made sure to keep him unaware of that fact. It had always been an issue for you while training with him, unfortunately, but you knew that having this secret was for his own good.
With your body in between Allister and Mimikyu, you were practically a shield. At this point, you were willing to take a hit from the thing if it meant that he would be safe. You winced as Chandelure was attacked. Its pain was your own, and you could feel it gradually growing weaker. A pained expression crossed your features. Your knees began to weaken. You weren’t sure if you and your partner could keep this up for much longer. You frowned, bracing yourself for the inevitable.
But it never came. In fact, Mimikyu had returned to its normal form all on its own, now laying on the forest floor unconscious. You looked at it in shock before turning to face the child. He had been frozen in terror, a sight that shattered your heart.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt? What happened?” You asked back to back, moving him as you inspected his current state. You shook him as you spoke. The absolute fear in your voice would grow to be something he’d never forget. You pulled him into your arms and held him as tight as you possibly could, not giving him room to breathe. Tears welled in your eyes. Oh you were so worried. It made you more than happy to know that he was alright. “Let’s get you back to the house, okay? I’m sure Bede will be happy to see you,” you finally stepped back, fixing his mask with a smile. You gathered Mimikyu and carried it, walking alongside the Dusclops that Allister had summoned.
It was a miracle that it had withstood Mimikyu’s attacks so well. You couldn’t help but be amazed. How had he managed to find a Pokémon as strong as this one? Did he just get lucky? Surely not.
“We’re almost back to town,” you turned to look over your shoulder, giving him another soft smile. You froze. “Allister?” You turned around, your eyes wide. “Allister?!” You called, panic washing over you. “ALLISTER??” You raised your voice in hopes that he would respond. Yet you heard nothing. “Shit shit shit…” The Dusclops beside you sensed your worry, trailing alongside you as you walked deeper into the Glimwood Tangle. He had been right behind you the whole time! How had he vanished so quickly?! Your heart raced and you handed off Mimikyu to the Dusclops before breaking out into a full sprint on your search.
“ALLISTER!!” You shouted, out of breath. No response. You stopped. Your running had led you to the clearing where the statue of Eternatus once stood. Dread filled you. It was no coincidence that you would up back here, you were sure of it. You looked around the area frantically, stopping when you saw the child sitting in front of the base of the statue. He turned to face you as you got closer.
“My premonition…” he took off his mask and set it to the side. “I-It’s going to be fulfilled soon…”
A nervous chuckle left your lips. Fuck. “Come now Allister, let’s get you out of here and back home,” you extended your hand for him to take. He stood up and you picked him up, carrying him on your back carefully. It had been quite a long time since you had done this, but you figured the timing was right. You frowned as you carried him back to the house.
“Y/n..?”
“Yes?”
“What was that place?”
“Just an old shrine for the two kings, Allister.”
“Alright.”

“Those trainers that are fighting in the wild area are getting killed.”
“You think I don’t know that?!” Rose slammed his hands down onto the table, causing some tea to spill. Oleana flinched, her eyes widening slightly before she cleared her throat. He sighed and stood upright, fixing his tie in an attempt to maintain professionalism. He turned around and looked out at the large window. “What I meant to say was, I’m already aware of that unfortunate fact.”
“Is there not anything that you can do?” She gave him an exasperated look. She wasn’t sure if her love for him was worth it anymore. “Can you not issue a warning? This is a serious matter!”
“They knew the dangers when they signed up to take those Pokémon down,” he retorted. He couldn’t do this much longer. “It’s no one’s fault but their own, do you understand?”
“But Chairman the—“
“Do you understand?!” He whipped his head around, giving her a serious glare that caused her to wince. She frowned, hanging her head in shame.
“I understand.” She mumbled, rising from her seat in silence. She turned to leave, but stopped. There were so many things that she wanted to say to him, but he wouldn’t listen. He would never truly listen to her. Sadness filled her heart. He was so horrible to her. She hated him. But oh, what would she do without him?
The sound of her heels clicking on the marble floor echoed as she made her way to the door. Once again, Rose was alone. His eye twitched. His plan would be executed soon enough, and then he wouldn’t have to worry about anything anymore.
He grabbed his teacup and threw it across the large room in a fit of rage. Watching it shatter gave him a small feeling of satisfaction. The little glass pieces shined on the floor, each one reflecting a different perspective. He watched it in awe. Each piece reminded him of the different stages of his life. First his family, then his gym challenge, and then his rise to fame as the Chairman. His heart ached at the sight.
There simply was no escaping the path that he took to get there.
It seemed that he couldn’t go anywhere or do anything without being reminded of how much he had lost. And he had lost so much. He swallowed thickly. If his plan worked, then he wouldn’t have to lose ever again. No one would. In fact, the Galar region would simply be a thing of the past.
Rose laughed bitterly. He found it ironic that he feared death, despite having nothing more to lose. He thought of Oleana and sighed, hanging his head. The thought of her made his knees weak. He found her to be utterly annoying, and yet, she had been the only person to stay by his side since he had taken on the position as chairman. A tear rolled down his cheek. Confused, he wiped it away. He didn’t care for her that much, did he? He shook his head. There was no way. She was insufferable. But… was she really insufferable or was she simply just trying to help him.
He froze. Everything he ever thought about her he began to doubt. When was the last time she had smiled? He had no clue. Another tear fell, and then another, and then another until he was fully crying at the thought of someone caring about him that much.
He wrapped his arms around himself and shuddered. Maybe he did have something to lose.

Piers had booked a room at the Rose of the Rondelands so he could be with Marnie for the Champion Cup tournament. The final rounds between the final challenger and the gym leaders was set to commence tomorrow. Both he and you were set to battle in it, as well as Raihan. It was sure to be an interesting series of battles. If Gloria were to win each of her battles and move on to the next round with Leon, then that battle would commence immediately after the final round ended. It would be a back to back event, with fans from all over tuning in to see the challenger Gloria fight.
The sound of knocking tore him from his thoughts, causing him to jump slightly. “Oh, come in.” He called weakly. Marnie opened the door, followed by Gloria and Hop. The children’s worried gazes made him frown. “What’s wrong? Did ya not get t’ the dessert bar in time?” Hop shook his head and frowned.
“Do you know where Lee is? He promised he’d meet us for dinner, but we can’t find him anywhere!” He sighed, hanging his head. Gloria placed a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
“I don’t. Have you tried lookin’ around? He really could be anywhere,” Piers stretched as he rose to his feet. “Come on, let’s go lookin’ for ‘im. I’m sure he’s not too far from here.” He led the way out of the room and to the elevator. “So when was the last time you saw ‘im?” Hop furrowed his brows in thought.
Gloria began to sign. ‘He appeared right after we finished the first round.’
“Oh yeah! That’s right! He looked like he had gotten there in a hurry, and he seemed real desperate to spend time with me and Gloria over here!” Hop paused and frowned once again. “But then he vanished. He told us that it would be a late meal, but we had no clue it was going to be this late!”
“They were telling me about it, an’ I figured that you might know somethin’ since you’re in kahoots with him,” Marnie shrugged. “I don’t wan’ t’ send you on a wild goose chase just because.” Piers nodded understandingly.
The group walked out of the hotel lobby and into the parking lot. For some reason, despite it being about nine pm, the area was rather busy. They walked through the crowd and headed towards the plaza, where they were greeted by even more people. Piers looked around, growing more and more suspicious of the situation. He looked at Marnie, who returned his look. So she could feel it too.
“Why don’t you go check th’ station?” He looked at Gloria, who nodded in response. “And you, purple hair, why don’t you check the other end of th’ plaza. Marnie, I need you to go get some of the nearby Team Yell members.” She nodded and ran off. Each of the children went their separate ways, which gave him some time to think before he executed a plan.
His eyes scanned the crowd. An unusual amount of league staff members were in the crowd, doing their best to blend in by interacting with the crowd. Odd. Usually there was one by the station, but now there were at least five or six mixed into the cluster of civilians before him. Come to think of it, those civilians hardly seemed… well… to be normal. Piers was a well known celebrity in the region, and not one of them had turned to acknowledge him. He hated to seem selfish, but he found it incredibly strange.
Gloria rushed up to him, signing frantically about some guy in the station that had battled her and ran. She said that he was working for Macro Cosmos, the company that Rose owned. Piers scowled. Of course.
“Where did he go?” He looked around, looking for something— anything suspicious. If he could get a lead, then he’d be set. All he needed was a hint. He looked over at Gloria. She informed him that this staff member had a different set of sunglasses than the usual ones did. He smirked. That was all he needed.
Marnie returned with the Team Yell members, each one of them eager to help out. Piers quickly explained their situation to them before sending them off in search of the staff member. He instructed Gloria and Marnie to stay together in the plaza while they looked. He’d rather they face off this stranger side by side than them be alone. There was no telling how far this guy was willing to go.
It didn’t take them long to find that son of a bitch. When they did, Piers had stepped up to battle him head on, but Gloria offered herself up instead. Her raw talent never failed to amaze him, and apparently Hop felt the same way, seeing as he watched the battle very closely.
“Hey kid, you’re staring,” he elbowed Hop with a smirk, resulting in the kid’s face turning a bright shade of red. He chuckled and directed his attention back to Gloria, who had finished her battle and was now facing them. She told them that they could now use the monorail, but they’d have to be quick. Apparently Leon was at Rose Tower.
“You guys go on ahead,” Marnie took a step back from them. She looked apprehensive. “I’ll deal with these numbskulls and join you over there,” she turned around and headed off in the direction of the hotel. Gloria turned to Piers, gazing up at him expectantly.
“You expect me to lead this mission?” She smiled slowly and he sighed. “Alright, come on you two. We’re in this together.”
When they got to Rose Tower, they stopped. After all, Piers didn’t really know what to do. It’s not like they could just rush in there and demand that they see Leon—
“I’m gonna go right on in there and demand that they let me see my big brother!” Hop huffed as he began marching toward the tower’s entrance. Piers rolled his eyes and Gloria held him back.
“That’s a bad idea. You need t’ work out a plan,” he crossed his arms and sighed. This was difficult alright. And it sure was strange.
“I have! I want to see my brother!” Hop raised his voice, glaring daggers at Piers. “And you can’t stop me!” He turned on his heels and stormed into the building. Gloria ran after him, worry painting her face. Children. Leave it to them to make poor decisions. He sighed. He was going to keep his happy ass right here just in case those two needed anything. He doubted it though. They were quite the duo.
“Gloria, you didn’t have to follow me.” Hop crossed his arms inside the entrance, turning his head away from her. She sighed and shook her head. At this point she really didn’t have much of a choice.
The two children took a few steps into the lobby of the tower, where they were immediately confronted by staff members. Naturally, they had to battle them to get past them. Once they got past that, they were free to use the elevator to the top.
She turned to face him, looking deep into his eyes before reaching out her hand for him to hold. He blushed and took it, giving her hand a gentle squeeze as the elevator continued to go up. He could feel his face burning, but he didn’t mind. He was living the dream in this moment, and he was content with that.
The elevator came to a halt, and Hop froze. “There’s no way we’re already at the top…” he mumbled, bracing himself. Two doors to his left opened, a pair of staff members joining them on the platform.
“That’s right, kid. We’re gonna take you down!” One of them taunted with a smirk. He pulled out a Pokéball and looked over at his partner.
“We’ll see about that!” Hop grinned, bringing out Dubwool. Gloria nodded and sent out Inteleon.

“Do you understand the magnitude of this plan?” Rose asked the man beside him as he stared down at the city of Wyndon. He folded his hands nearly behind him. He had called Leon in to inform him of his new job in this plan.
“I’m afraid I don’t…” he frowned, following Rose’s gaze. “You say that me taking down Eternatus would save the region from imminent destruction… but how do you know that’s true?” His brows furrowed. He really didn’t want to agree with him, but it was looking like he had no other choice. And after everything that he had worked for too… it pained him.
“It’s called faith,” Rose’s tone grew serious. “And I have faith in you, dear champion. You’ve never failed before, so what makes you think that you’ll fail now?”
“I—“
“LEE!!” Hop’s voice echoed throughout the room. The sound surprised Leon so much that he gasped loudly, his eyes widened with shock. Gloria ran up beside him, a soft grin on her face.
“Hey there Hop,” he forced himself to smile, “how did you make it all the way up here?”
“Oh it was horrible! They were all ‘you’re not gonna get past us!’ and we were all ‘think again suckers!’ and then we faced off against Oleana, who was simply mad!! I told each and every one of those people that all I wanted to do was see my brother, and they wouldn’t let me!” He huffed and crossed his arms. “Plus you still owe us dinner! It’s been hours since we saw you last! I was so worried, Lee!” Hop whined and pouted dramatically.
Leon forced a chuckle, shaking his head as he did so. “I’m sorry Hop, I really am. I had every intention of taking you two out for dinner tonight, but I got caught up with important champion matters. Listen,” he squatted down some to look him in the eyes, “why don’t we go out for breakfast tomorrow before the final round of the Champion Cup begins?” Hop nodded excitedly. He was practically jumping up and down at the thought.
Rose frowned. He had never noticed that Leon and Hop were so close. He envied them.
“Why don’t you just go on back to the hotel?” Rose asked, resulting in a confused look from Leon. “Yes, you too. You’re all going to want to be properly rested before to tomorrow, so just go ahead and get your rest.”
“You heard him,” Leon chuckled again. “Alright let’s get going.” He ushered them out of the room, still grinning. Rose felt his heart ache.
He missed his family.
He missed his brother.
Rose hung his head, biting the inside of his cheek so hard that it began to bleed. Oh how he envied Leon and Hop. And Piers and Marnie. And you and Allister. Each of you were so close to one another, and it hurt him to witness. It wasn’t fair. He had worked for everything he had, and he couldn’t have a family? Even before they died, his parents wanted nothing to do with him. It just wasn’t fair. He brought an unreal amount of money to their name that they had never seen before, and all he got in return was cut off.
It wasn’t fair.
None of it was fair.
His knees buckled and he fell to the floor.
If only his mother were still alive.

You didn’t want to, but you had no other choice. You booked a suite at the Rose of the Rondelands, guaranteeing that Bede and Allister would have enough space to be comfortable. You refused to leave them home alone after the incident with Mimikyu. Naturally, Bede was reluctant to go back to Wyndon, but he knew he couldn’t argue with you.
It was late when you checked in, and the person at the front desk was half asleep. Thankfully she recognized you, otherwise you would’ve been there for a while. Once you made it up to the suite, you put the boys to bed and then rested in the open area. Everything seemed like it was moving fast, and to make things it didn’t even feel real.
Every time you thought about Eternatus, you couldn’t grasp that it was a real being. But it was. And it haunted you. Ever since that statue had been destroyed, bad things had continuously happened to you, as if you were cursed. You shuddered at the thought. Eternatus may’ve been a powerful creature, but it surely wasn’t powerful enough to place a curse on you. You weren’t even sure that Arceus was capable of that, and Arceus was the being above all beings.
You sighed, rolling over onto your side with a frown. You had a splitting headache, and wanted nothing more than to rest, but you couldn’t. What if you closed your eyes and Eternatus found you again? Or what if you dreamt about what happened earlier with Mimikyu? You feared what might come for you in your sleep. It seemed slightly irrational, but you knew it wasn’t. A groan escaped your lips. Secretly, you dreaded participating in the matches tomorrow. You never cared for them in the past, so what made them think that you would now?
It was probably to make it more challenging than the round prior. Which made sense given that they usually brought in Raihan and Melony to make a show of it. When they brung you in is when things tend to get much more serious. You’re a challenge in and of yourself, and that’s exactly what the board is looking for.
You can’t help but cringe at the thought. Why not call in someone like Piers or Kabu? Why did it always have to be you and Raihan? You groaned again. Exhaustion washed over you. Unfortunately, you planned on forcing yourself to stay awake. You just didn’t want to risk seeing Eternatus again. Not after the encounter from earlier. That was going to bother you for a while.
A rueful chuckle left your lips. Maybe you should look into therapy after this mess gets cleared up. Arceus knows you need it. Oh well. That was a discussion for a later date. You yawned. Your eyes felt heavy. You didn’t want to go to sleep.
You yawned again. Your eyes closed.
You dreamt of nothing.

Hello!! can I req Raihan x Female Reader where reader is a Ice/Grass specialist and has a Glaceon and Leafeon who protects her because she gets picked on a lot Maybe some angst to fluff Thank you already!❤️
Sure thing.
Lonely Without Friendship
Raihan x F! Reader Angst/Fluff
Growing up you were always bullied. You didn't do anything to cause the bullying. It's just that kids are mean. You didn't have any friends because of this, so your parents ended up giving you a Glaceon and a Leafeon to help and protect you. They were your only friends throughout all of your school years. That was until you moved to Galar to continue studying.
So far your only friends were Hop, Milo, Marnie, Gloria (Fairy Gym Leader), Nessa, Melony, Sonia, and Bea. Your two Eeveelutions didn't like men all that much since boys were the main bullies from your younger years. Hop and Milo were the exceptions since Leafeon and Glaceon could tell that they had good intentions and wouldn't hurt you in any way. There were some people in Galar who would bully you and they would either wake up to a yard full of leaves or a yard full of ice that was covered in snow.
Raihan wanted to befriend you, but your two friends wouldn't allow it to happen. You would always have to put them into their Great Balls in order to talk to him. You couldn't blame them because Raihan is an intimidating-looking man. Towering over you and his fangs were a little scary at first. Leafeon would give him cuts by using razor leaf and Glaceon would purposely make the surrounding area cold by using snowy terrain.
It has been two years since you came to Galar and your two partners have eased up a little bit. They now like Kabu, Leon, Bede, Gordie, and Piers. Raihan was close to giving up on becoming friends with you entirely because he still isn't liked or even remotely close to being liked. That was until he was sitting with you on your bed while you were crying. You were crying because your boyfriend of three years broke up with you over text. Leafeon and Glaceon were laying their heads on your lap trying to comfort you. You were leaning your head against Raihans chest in a way that he couldn't see your tear-stained face.
"Y/N, I am going, to be honest with you and you may not like what I am about to say."
You sniffle and hiccup before responding
"What is it, Rai?"
"Your boyfriend was a complete jerk. He didn't deserve you."
You remove your head from his chest and look up at him.
"What do you mean?"
"What I mean is that you deserve someone who will treat you like you are the queen of the world."
You giggle a little bit before sniffing again
"I am no queen, Raihan. You know that."
He gently takes your hands in one of his and puts his other hand on your cheek.
"You are a queen, Y/N. You may not see it. But you are a queen to your Leafeon and Glaceon."
The two Pokémon nuzzle against you making happy purring noises agreeing with Raihan.
"And if I am being honest. You are my queen. I would do anything to see you smile. I will embarrass myself in order to make you laugh."
After telling you that he kisses the top of your head and you smile.
"Thank you, Raihan. I appreciate that. I really do."
"You are very welcome. Now, why don't you lay down with Leafeon and Glaceon and take a nap because I bet you feel tired after letting out all those emotions."
You nod and lay down. Glaceon and Leafeon lay down by your feet. Raihan gets off the bed and heads towards the door until you grab his hand.
"Could you cuddle with me, Raihan? Please?"
He looks at you and then at the two Pokémon for their responses. They nod their heads, yes and he lays down next to you putting your head on his chest. You and Raihan smile knowing that Leafeon and Glaceon finally accept that he would never hurt you. Ever.

Posed -Raihan x fem reader- pokemon CH1
Note: I decided to go with the head cannon that Nessa and Raihan are cousins and all characters are around 21, except hop and gloria they are around 17/18
Word count:1658
Warnings: drinking mentioned Stalking? (if you squint)
*Check out the chapter before this marked teaser for a better understanding of this chapter, the teaser just gives background.*
Synopsis: Being a pokemon contest idol wasn't easy, it's even harder when you've been an idol since your childhood. Being raised in the Hoenn region and being forced to travel around to participate in contests made it impossible to make any friends since you never stayed anywhere long enough, this all changed in the Kalos region. After making a name there and finally separating your name away from your overbearing parent you decided to move to the Galar region looking for a different life but of course rumors follow and the internet is cruel
Chapter 1: Gossip is old news
My morning photoshoot went well, luckily leaving me with extra time to enjoy the Hano Grand Resort till my final photoshoot of the night. Hopefully I'll have some left over time to enjoy the Alola region for the few days left in this beautiful island, maybe even catch some new pokemon. After saying my goodbyes to the other models and crew, a girl grabs my attention by calling out my name, “Well if it isn't my favorite pretty girl” I turn to see none other than the gorgeous Galar model Nessa. “Nessa, it's been ages! Are we set for a photoshoot tonight?”
After catching up with the famed model and finished our last photoshoot for the night we agreed to get dinner and catch up more in the restaurant of the Hano Grand Resort. “I’ve decided to move to the Galar region actually, im looking for a change and hopefully a better life, the Kalos region is nice but is just a never ending life of fashion, and of course as you know my mother still lives there and I’d much rather be as far away from that woman as possible.” I explain to Nessa who is as excited as a yamper upon hearing the news of me moving to her home region. “Have you already found a place?” I nod showing her the location and pictures revealing a cute and comfy cottage on the outskirts of Wedgehurst. “Ah that's not so far from Sonias, I’ll introduce you two when you move. maybe I can even set you up with someone when you move.” Nessa laughs as she makes this joke knowing I don’t focus on relationships, always thinking about my pokemon or work.
After a few drinks and laughter later we decided to call it a night but just to my luck Nessa was never the best at holding her alcohol, leading the drunken girl to her room which luckily was just down the hall from me since the modeling agency had booked them for us all in advance. As I walk up to her door and drag the card from her handbag and help her change out of her dress and heels and place her on her side and put a glass of water and ibuprofen on the bedside table, “You know Y/N I feel like you’d like my cousin he’s a nice guy” Nessa slurs out right before passing out I giggle at the girls interesting commentary and turn the lights off and head to my room. As I walk out of the room and down the hall I run into a tall man wearing a dress shirt “I’m sorry miss im in a bit of a rush” and leaves before I could even apologize, I watch the man walk away. I turn my head to the sound of several camera snaps, dismissing the sound knowing this resort is filled with models for this event and paparazzi is inevitable whether I like it or not.
Waking up early was a given sinceI had more shoots in the afternoon and an interview at 10 AM but at the time my phone was blasting I can’t help but think it’s much too early, ignoring the constant buzzing was almost impossible. I grab my phone to see my PokeGram being tagged in a post from the Galar Gossip gram, at first I think they must have been posting about Nessa and I drinking together last night but then I see the picture and see the man I ran into last night. The caption saying the Dragon Gym leader Raihan and I are dating, the post even calls itself out stating that the two of us have never interacted. After quickly finishing getting ready for my interview that was still two hours away, I make my way over to Nessa’s room to try and get an understanding why I’d be suddenly paired with her colleague.
As I go to knock on Nessa’s room, the door suddenly opens to reveal the very man I'm rumored to date. Before I can process what's happening the male looks around and drags me into the room where I see a very amused Nessa watching the scene in front of her, “I was just about to call you, I need to introduce you to as you've probably heard of your rumored boyfriend and my cousin, Raihan.” Nessa immediately starts laughing at my dumbstruck face, I hear the male besides me sigh as he scratches the back of his neck. “Y/N right? Nessa told me a bit about you sorry about this whole mess, I should have found it a bit suspicious when I received an anonymous text about Nessa being black out drunk in the hall. Thanks for getting her back here last night.” he reaches out to shake my hand. “It wasn’t a problem, definitely wouldn’t be the first time, though knowing that someone planned this makes me curious what would a gossip blog get out of starting such a rumor. I mean most people by now know that while short my love life has always been transparent.” I state as I go to sit down next to nessa. “Exactly why choose Y/N out of all models she's basically untouchable, everyone knows creating false rumors about her will lead you to get blacklisted from any big social events.” As the conversation continues my alarm informs me that I have 30 minutes before my interview. “Sorry Nessa I’ve got my last interview in 30 and my last photoshoot after and I still have to get Gara ready, I can probably set the story straight about this whole rumor situation.” At the mention of Gara’s name my Garchomp comes out of its pokeball curious and noisy as always, I see Raihan immediately intrigued and pull out a pokepuff and hand it to the ever food motivated Gara. “A dragon type? I never would have taken you for a dragon type of girl” Raihan says showing full interest in me. After saying goodbye to the two I head to my interview on the way to the location provided in Konikoni city, I see a woman with purple hair holding what looks to be a shiny alolan Vulpix and a young blonde haired boy. The woman immediately notices my presence and calls out to me, “Excuse me miss i'm sorry to bother you but would you happen to have anything to heal this pokemon she’s in critical condition and we can’t bring her to the poke center out of fear that moving her will cause more damage.” I immediately pull anything that can help the small pokemon out, the woman introduces herself as Wicke and she voluntarily introduces the young boy as Gladion. Once the vulpix starts to wake she curls into my lap, the sight saddens me thinking of the ninetails I used to do competitions with that my mother retired stating that she was “getting aggressive” which was a total lie the ninetails only ever defended me from her abuse. “I think she likes you, she’d definitely be safer with you than anywhere else.” Wicke said, handing me a premier ball to catch the small fox-like creature, before I could ask the Vulpix if it wanted to come with the pokemon nudged its head clicking against the ball to catch itself. The two said their goodbyes and left as I rushed off to go to my interview now with a new friend in my team.
“Now Miss.Y/N on your social media you posted that you’d be taking a break from modeling and pokemon contests?” The interview processed exactly as I thought it would, I sat across the interviewer with a very comfortable Lila on my lap. “Yes, after this trip I’ll be moving to the Galar region and working on myself for some time, of course I’ll get back into the modeling scene in Galar after some time to adjust.” At the mention of the Galar I see the reporter sit up in interest. “So does this move to Galar have anything to do with Galar Gossips' post about you and Gym leader Raihan allegedly dating?” Even if I expected this question, it still shocks me to hear it out loud. “Sadly I’ve only met Raihan recently though I believe he is a fine gentleman. We don't know each other, other than our mutual connection with Nessa. Maybe if fans really want it we could do some collabs but other than that Raihan and I have no history. The picture of us that the Gossip post posted was simply a picture of Raihan in a rush and accidentally running into me” After finishing the interview up and heading to my final shoot, immediately after I get on a plane heading to my new home in the Galar region.

How Did You Know? A RaihanxLeon Fic
I wanted to write two ship fics involving Raihan having a bonding moment with the younger siblings of his boyfriends. One with Marnie and this one with Hop.
This fic has Leon planning to help Hammerlocke after the Eternatus battle, not wanting to nap, and Hop asking Raihan how he knew he loved Lee.
“So I was thinking the center piece should be a replica of Gigantamax Duraludon. It’d look sleek and modern while reflecting your biggest asset.”
Papers were sprawled on the ground like blankets after a nightmare. Sketches of outfits, decorations, and layouts were carefully drawn and meticulously thought out. Each piece matching a dragon theme with colors reflecting Raihan and his city.
Since the battle with Eternatus, Leon was trying to find a way to make it up to Raihan. The Pokémon damaged his gym and terrorized Hammerlocke. So, in order to help out, Leon decided to throw a charity banquet. Leon wanted to give the people of Galar hope after the Darkest Day was brought upon them. He also felt bad that he had inadvertently dragged Raihan into a situation caused by Rose’s impatience.
The proceeds would go to repairs for the gym and the adjacent buildings first and foremost. There would also be a fund set up for anyone needing relief. Anything left over, should they go over their goal, would go to the school and aid a research facility Sonia planned to set up.
Currently, Leon was trying to get the final touches in order. Inviting Raihan over for lunch, it gave them the perfect time to review everything. As for the mess, Leon assured he’d clean it up. Lest his mother throw a fit.
“What about Hop and Gloria?” Raihan inquired. “They should be a part of this as well considering they helped.”
“I’m way ahead of you.” Leon looked around, pulling out a concept sketch. “They’re invited, of course, and I’m going to be giving them a dedication during my speech. I was also thinking we could have the entrance set up to make guests feel like they’re walking into the battle. With Hop and Gloria fighting Eternatus alongside Zacian and Zamazenta.”
”Sounds like you have things figured out.” Raihan flashed a smile as he scanned Leon’s concept. “I think this will work out perfectly.”
“I hope so. I feel awful for how things turned out.”
“You shouldn’t.” Raihan shrugged. “It wasn’t your fault.”
“I know, but I should have done more to stop Rose when I had the chance.”
There was a brief, silent pause as the statement set in. Leon let out a yawn, rubbing his eyes. He leaned against Raihan for a moment, zoning out as he watched the wall. Realizing ot was more than a yawn, and Leon actually having dark circles under his eyes, Raihan wrapped an arm around him.
“When was the last time you slept?”
“I don’t know…” Leon trailed off, “yesterday… maybe the day before.”
Flinching, Raihan glared at Leon. “Damn it, Leon. Why? You know you need sleep.”
Leon shook his head. “I can’t. Not until I get this done.”
“But you won’t be much help if you pass out.”
“I won’t. My will won’t let me until this is all set and ready to go.”
He staggered slightly as he stood up. Purple hair flopped as he looked around at the paperwork, twitching as he seemed to find what he was looking for. As Leon went to grab something, his wrist was grabbed and yanked back with the rest of Leon’s frame.
A stunned squeak escaped Leon as Raihan picked him up. Carrying him up the stairs, Raihan ignored Leon’s embarrassed demands to be put down. Once they got to Leon’s room, Raihan plopped Leon on the bed.
“Raihan!” Leon whined. “I need to get back to work.”
“No, what you need is sleep.”
Leon sat up, pouting. “I don’t wanna.”
“Too bad.”
Flicking Leon’s forehead, Raihan gently pushed Leon down. Raihan proceeded to crawl over Leon and flop next to him on the bed. Wrapping his arms around Leon, Raihan held him, preventing Leon from getting up.
Squirming around, Leon faced Raihan, annoyed and unamused. It’d be intimidating if Leon weren’t so cute. Raihan knocked bangs off of Leon’s face as he made sure he was comfortable.
“We can continue later.” Raihan promised kissing Leon’s forehead. “An hour nap is all I ask for. Or else you’ll lose hugging privileges for a week.”
Leon grumbled in defeat. He rolled around slightly, one leg sprawling over Raihan’s as he laid his head on Raihan’s chest. An arm draped over Raihan, as Leon finally found a comfortable position.
Two Hours Later
“Mom always said he was a cute sleeper.”
Feeling that things had gotten too quiet, Hop decided to check up on Leon. And when he found Leon sleeping, clinging to Raihan like a Grooky on a tree, he was both confused and amused.
Since he was awake, Raihan managed to sit up, miraculously not disturbing Leon in the process. And he enjoyed interacting with Hop. Plus, he wouldn’t be going anywhere anytime soon, so he appreciated the company.
“She’s not wrong.” Raihan agreed, stroking Leon’s hair. “He looks like a giant, purple Wooloo.”
Hop chuckled, picturing the comparison. “I was going to say Yamper, but that’s a lot more accurate.”
“Especially like this.” Raihan snicked. “Arceus knows he needed the sleep.”
Leon let out a sigh, hugging Raihan tighter as he continued to sleep. As silence set in, Hop fidgeted, hands tensing and eyes flinched. He looked at Leon then Raihan then back to Leon.
“Can I ask you something?” Hop inquired.
“Sure. What’s up?”
“How did you know you loved Lee?”
Raihan tilted his head. It was a question he hadn’t thought Hop would ask. It had happened so naturally and gradually that Raihan hadn’t reflected on recently. He glanced at the ceiling.
“I think it was after Eternatus was released.” Raihan recalled. “I mean, I had feelings for him before that. Probably after our second or third Championship Cup match. And we did start dating after that. So I think that’s when I subconsciously knew.” He softly chuckled before turning grim. “Then he got hurt, and that’s when I realized just how deeply I loved him.”
He paused, remembering the scene. Charizard was almost feral as he stood over Leon. He was willijg to let Hop get close to Leon, but not Gloria. Presumably because she had caught Eternatus and Charizard didn’t want Eternatus near Leon. Captured or not.
It took a little crisis adverting to get Charizard to calm down, but Raihan managed. The starter had calmed long enough for Raihan to grab Leon. Despite not technically being a dragon type, Charizard seemed to cooperate with methods Raihan typically used on the dragons he raised.
In the end, Leon had fought his hardest and went down defended the kids. Which was in character for Leon. However, he did so at the cost of almost dying. And that’s what really made the encounter worse.
”I know I wasn't the only one concerned, or the only one who cares about him, but I felt like I almost lost a part of myself, ya know?” Raihan noted as his hand pet the back of Leon’s head. “I may have always known subconsciously, but that day set it in stone.”
Hopping off the chair, Hop approached the bedside with a soft smile. He sat on the edge of the bed, eyeing Leon fondly.
“It’s funny, I think we expected him to ended up with Sonia. Childhood friends and all.” He chuckled. “But in all honesty, he’s so happy with you and I would never change that.” Hop gave Raihan a wide smile. “Thank you for loving him.”
Raihan smirked. “And here I thought you were mad that I stole Leon from you.”
“Of course not. Lee’s got plenty of love to spare.” Hop chuckled. “I will warn you though, Wooloo are known to attack people on rare occasions. I once saw them trample a guy for threatening their farmer.”
Snickers echoed, amused by such a threat. Knowing Hop, he would find away to follow through with it. Keeping a smile, Raihan let out a slow, relieved sigh.
“I needed to hear that.” Raihan stated. “I was so worried that I’d mess up and lose Leon and I needed the reminder that we’re not alone. Thank you, Hop.”
Snickering, Leon shifted around so he could see Raihan. Purple hair blanketed over Leon’s back as he gazed at Raihan with a soft, amused grin.
“Aw, you got the Hop seal of approval.” He kissed Raihan’s cheek. “He’s deeply invested when it comes to my happiness.”
“That he is. Not that I can blame him. You’re very easy to worry about.” Raihan’s arm slithered down, wrapping around Leon’s waist. “As for you, my scruffy oversized Wooloo, you aren’t getting out of sleeping.”
Leon whined. “But..”
Hop lightly smacked Leon’s head. “Lee, if you don’t sleep, ma will have your head.”
Pouting, Leon glared at Hop. “Not you too.”
“Please.” Grabbing a nearby throw blanket, Hop covered Leon. “If you sleep a little longer, at least until supper, I’ll make sure ma makes those lemon scones you like.”
Plopping his head on Raihan, Leon whined. Getting ganged up on wasn’t fun, even if it was in good faith. However, the offer of one of his favorite sweets was tempting. Eyelids sagged, closing as Leon nodded in defeat. The last thing he saw was Hop smiling as Raihan’s voice echoed in his ears.
“Sleep well, sweet prince.”

A Champion Time For The Heart Ch39 Pasio Adventures P2
(This is just a compilation of the events that happened with most everyone on Pasio Island in Pokemon Masters EX with all the substories I can remember. If I miss any I apologize. Will be labeled with time skips and Months to keep track of time. The time everyone's away is one year. If I get any of Pasio's city or landscape described wrong in this story I apologize.)
-JANUARY TO MARCH-
Leon had arrived.
That's why there had been such a big fuss this morning, everyone on this side of the region was leaving their homes in waves towards thee docks and Pasio's Star Arena to await the arrival of the famous unbeatable Champion. You had arrived a month earlier in January along with Bea and the guys at Leon's insistance. He had to prepare a few things before he left and didn't want his brothers and sister to be running around Pasio by themselves or Allister for that matter and you agreed since it meant keeping these guys out of trouble as well. So he had quickly gotten you a passport and cruise ticket, made sure you were fully packed, explained everything to your boss, helped set up your rotomi phone with your new rotom you decided to name 'Sparky', given you his phone number, and had sent you on your way with Hop and the twins. Sonia wasn't too far behind and you had met up with Bea and Allister at the Hulbury docks, and one seasick cruise later arrived in Pasio where you were set up in one of the hotel's and Allister was handed over to you to start watching over for the next ten months you'd be here. ....Sigh. How did you get yourself into these things. A few things had happened while Leon was gone. You ran into Bede as he finished chasing off a couple weird people with masks when walking around with Allister. Team Break if you recalled it right. You were more surprised Bede was picked to come here without Opal. Then again he did make it very far in the Battle Tower, it must've impressed Prince Lear enough to invite him along. Gloria and Victor started training together and had ran into Raihan and Gordie for a battle before Nessa and Melony decided to jump in and spar a three on three boys vs girls battle. Hop and Victor went hanging out with that boy Scottie they seemed to become quick friends with. And Gloria met Scottie's twin Bettie, while training in the Pasio woods not too far from the hotel you all were staying at. Having two pairs of scottish twins made it a bit much but you were glad they were making friends, meanwhile you were keeping an eye on Allister and helping the shy boy navigate the crowds. Until the news that Leon had arrived with Piers and Marnie that is. Gloria had practically busted down your doors and immediately demanded you get up and meet them at the stadium while she went off to fetch him. ..Which lead to you now sitting in the arena stadium with Allister sitting to your left nervously looking around at the crowd and Hop and Victor to your right who were excitedly cheering on the exhibition matches at hand. You were used to big crowds by now and only watched with a smile as they played. But they sure made you wait long enough, they had to unpack and get situated with Sync Stones before they could even get to the arena. So it went. Gloria vs Alder and her winning. Marnie vs Karen from the Johto Elite Four, Karen winning. It seemed Piers chose to not fight, and then it was Leon vs another Region's Champion, Blue. When it was all over you knew it'd be a while before Leon even got away from the crowds so you decided it would just be best to take Allister to get some lunch away from the big crowds to help with his anxiety. You expected Allister to cling to you as you both left the stadium but what you weren't expecting was Sparky to come flying out of your pocket with a buzzing sound and incoming call.
"*PZZZT* Incoming call from Leon! Do you wish to Accept or Decline?," the rotom asked with your phone ringing.
Leon was calling you from the middle of the arena? Holding Allister's hand you smiled. "Accept call, Sparky."
Soon enough a familiar voice came through the phone. "Hello? Y/N!?"
"Hi, Leon," you answered back with a smile and there was a relieved sigh through the other side. "Oh thank goodness I can here your voice. Where are you? I can't find you in the crowd."
"Allister needed some food." Said boy was holding your hand and excitedly pointing at a nearby hot chocolate stand, being January it was still fairly chilly outside so it made sense he'd want some. "And I think he was overwhelmed in there so I wanted to give him some space."
"O-Oh," the voice now sounded a bit sad. "Oh I understand. Did uh-...D-Did you see me win?"
"Of course I did! Great job out there by the way! I think you did a great job getting the crowds excited."
"Thanks! I think so too....Hey. Listen. There's a few things I need to do here as a part of my deal to come here with Prince Lear so it's going to be a little bit before I can actually see you again."
That stung a bit, after all you all hadn't really had time to see one another for almost a month by this point but you understood it was just his duties as a Champion. "Hey. No worries. I have my own hands fully taking care of Allister. Just do what you have to, and you can always call me."
He again sighed relieved. "THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I promise I'll try to get everything finished as soon as possible. When we get back together I have a surprise for you!"
"Oh?"
"Yeah. There's someone I want you to meet. But I can't tell you because it's a surprise."
A surprise huh? And he wanted to introduce you to someone? Well guess you were going to have to wait and find out who exactly it was. Well almost four weeks went by again and you still didn't see him. Gloria made more friends with two girls called May and Leaf, and Leon made sure to keep in touch by calling you and making sure everything was going ok and kept you in the loop of what had been going on. He got lost on his way to a pokemon center and got seperated from Charizard, luckily he ran into Scottie who helped him out. Scottie ran into him again battling a different Champion, Steven Stone, and the two almost caused a rock slide with their battles and almost getting lost again trying to find the Pasio woods. You facepalmed twice at that. And then he did a few promotional things for Galar, probably for the Chairwoman to help straighten out Galar's good name. And he got into a debate with two other Champions, Lance and Mr. Stone again, over...Capes?? You shook your head at that one and had to assure him his cape was in fact very dapper on him. Which made him super happy. Then February came and the holiday called 'Palentine's Day' arrived. It was essentially a Pasio holiday similar to Valentine's Day but it was less heavy on the romance aspect and was more about showing love towards your friends and family. So you received a few Palentine's Day treats from the trio and a couple wild flowers from Allister he picked for you and Bea. In the mean time you busied yourself with just caring for Allister and met a couple other people from Pasio and different Regions, some you remembered from the previous games you met some you didn't. Cynthia was very nice when you ran into her at a local ice cream shop and Allister bumped into her legs...Oh. There was also a couple villains chased off the islands. Giovanni was one of them. Yeah. After all your adventures, you weren't surprised in the least that one of the game villains was here. Unfortunately it meant pushing some plans for the Master's League. Sigh. Luckily by the time the end of February came around you were FINALLY able to meet up with Leon when he called you and asked to meet him at a cafe close by to the current hotel you were staying at. Quickly agreeing you gathered Allister and made for the cafe that he mentioned. The stone streets flew with your quick steps, holding Allister's hand to keep up pace until you came to the small cafe called 'The Lazy Rockruff' and walked on in. Already the cafe was PACKED with locals and trainers alike chattering and eating food and there you spotted Leon when he stood beaming that smile and waved over towards you both! Two people were next to him. One was Hop who looked as excited to see you as Lee was, and across from then was a girl who looked to be around the same age as Leon.
"Beauty! Over here," he called out beckoning you to come over.
Smiling you headed on over with Allister and the first thing you did upon reaching Leon was embrace him fully throwing your arms around his neck and felt him practically crush you with how close he pressed you to himself.
"Oh thank Arceus." He breathed relieved with a sigh and smile. "I missed you so much! I'm finally able to see you again."
"Hey!" You spoke back beaming pulling away from him. "I missed you too. I hope you don't mind me bringing Allister along."
"Of course not!," he quickly clarified shooting a smile to the boy holding onto your pants leg and he perked up seeing a familiar face. "Hey, Al! It's so good to see you again! Are you hungry?" Allister quickly nodded making the Champion chuckle, "Then you're in luck! This cafe happens to have some of the best food in Pasio! Oh! That reminds me." Smiling back to you Leon stepped aside and threw a hand at the woman sitting there smiling at Leon amused. "Y/n. I want you to meet someone special to me. This is our cousin, Iris. She's the champion from the Unova Region. She's here competing in the Masters League too!"
His cousin!? You blinked surprised over to her and were surprised to see how similar this woman looked to Hop and Leon. She had her hair up in a styled ponytail that was a darker shade of purple than Leon's, but her skin tone was the same. Her eyes though were a dark brown instead of that shiny gold that all of Leon's other family had. On her head was a small golden crest with green emeralds and she wore a pretty pink and white Nessa would've loved.
"Your cousin?," you asked surprised before smiling. "Um. Hi. Nice to meet you. I'm Y/n!"
"Oh I know," Iris said happily glancing at Leon, "I've heard all about you. Mostly because someone wouldn't stop gushing about you the entire time." Leon froze...before his face lit up a red and he rubbed his neck making his cousin chuckle. "I swear you're such a kid! You haven't changed one bit since I last saw you."
"H-Hey! I was just twelve then! I'm much better than I was-"
"You still get lost on your way to the bathroom!," she stated back more amused making Leon squawk an embarrassed noise before she turned to Hop and reached up to pat her younger cousin on the head. "But not you! Look at you all grown up saving Galar and becoming a professor!" She cooed making Hop groan. "But when are you gonna stop really being a kid and ask that Gloria girl out already?"
And it was Hop's turn to light up red face. "IRIS!? DON'T SAY THAT OUT LOUD!! SOMEONE MIGHT HEAR!!"
"So you're a Champion too huh?" You asked catching her attention, which was your plan to give these two boys a break. "Wow. I knew Lee and Hop would have impressive positions but I didn't know it ran in the family."
She shrugged at your compliment but still smiled. "It wasn't just handed to me so you know. I had to work for it same as them, but I don't think you're here to compete either right?"
You shook your head gesturing to Allister climbing on a chair. "I was hired to be Al's caretaker since he's too young to be by himself."
"Oh, how cute!" She gushed at Allister who sat down and looked at you expectantly. Oh right. He was hungry. "How are you enjoying Pasio so far?"
"It's a beautiful region," you answered sitting down by Allister and picking up a menu, "I've been having a fun time meeting all the different people and seeing so many pokemon!" You handed the menu to Allister so he could read over it to see what he wanted. "Some of the mini events the Prince put on have been entertaining too-"
"Oh wait!," Leon interrupted you two, making you look at him as he fumbled with something in his pockets, before pulling out a small pink box and shoving it towards you with a nervous smile. "H-Happy Belated Valentine's Day, Y/n!! I-I-I know it's late b-b-but I don't know when I'll see you again with the events coming up and I wanted to make it up to you for missing the holiday! I-I hope you like chocolate."
You blinked at his gift for a moment before smiling pink cheeked and taking it. "I do...Thank you."
Leon smiled. "Anything for you Beauty!"
"Beauty..You called me that twice. Is that your new nickname for me?"
He nodded. "Of course! Because you're beautiful to me.~"
Now it was your turn to light up red faced at his woods, but a small slam of Iris's hands against the table startled you both and Hop and Allister into looking at her determined face as she inhaled and pointed at you two.
"OK! SPILL! I want details on these two! Tell me all about your traveling and how you two got together! And don't leave out a single detail! I need to know how you two got together so I can help Hop overcome his dating crisis!!"
"IRIS!! DONT SAY THAT!!"
Well to say Iris was excited to meet you was an understatement. She was a lot like Hop in some ways and Leon in others with her own personality slipped in. Oh well. At least Allister was able to get something to eat. And Leon wasn't lying when he said he was going to be busy for a while either. There was going to be a Festival of Champions, a.k.a all the Champions coming together to entertain the masses until the actual major events could happen taking place later this March. Leon wanted to take this chance to be with you and introduce you to some more of his family before you both had to part again. Can't say you didn't enjoy the time...but it was funny to see both the brothers get flustered by their cousin's antics.
-APRIL TO JUNE-
It was fairly warm now and things were starting to pick up this month especially with all the events scheduled in the next two and a half months. Leon was training hard after the Champion event to train with Raihan for the Time Trials. You managed to convince Allister to join a couple harmless but fun events like a fun little easter egg hunt and a small Tea Party held by these two Twin Subway bosses running into Marnie and Sonia there. You also ran into Gloria battling Bettie in her old dojo suit from the Isle of Armor, apparently she had been wired the urshifu to care for a little bit and she wanted to try her luck with battling with it. Then there was the New Stars of Pasio Tournament and the Friendiversy surprise Raihan and Leon planned for the Prince who was busy running around planning the main event and trying to control everything. You didn't blame the two for trying to get the Prince to relax. Seemed Lear had a lot on his plate as it was with all this planning for the end of the year with the few villains pushing everything back by two months and spontaneously coming up with these smaller events to keep everyone entertained in the meantime...But you were glad he wasn't pestering you like he did at the party. But SOMETHING happened halfway through June. The Time Trials event had just ended and you thought you'd be able to see Leon after he took a break from the events, but that wasn't meant to be. Imagine sleeping in the middle of the night and feeling the entire earth suddenly shake with an earthquake under your feet. It was so hard you fell off your bed and onto the floor with a loud yelp and cry of pain as the ground continued to shake and the fair off cry of multiple loud dynamaxed pokemon reached your ears-...Making your eyes pop open in panick because the only other time this happened here was because those goons were forcibly dynamaxing pokemon. But...THIS COULDN'T BE HAPPENING HERE!! There wasn't any natural dynamax particles in Pasio! And no one brought their dynamax bands with them on the trip over here. You had just gotten up as the shaking stopped, the distant sounds of giant pokemon getting more distant ready to go see just what the heck was going on but those plans were dashed when your door was suddenly thrown open and in ran Allister who immediately ran straight for your legs throwing his arms around you and burying his face into your pants leg.
"Y-Y/N!!," he wailed clearly terrified and shaking, "What's going on!?"
"I don't know." You flinched and turned your head towards the ceiling as a far away pokemon cry was heard. "...But let's just stay inside until everything calms down, ok?"
Safe to say neither of you got a wink of sleep that night staying awake for the rest of the night and waiting for morning to come before daring to venture outside again at all and when you did everything seemed-....Normal?? Well normal-ish. There was lots of other people walking around confused and looking around at seemingly nothing. There wasn't any signs of giant pokemon anywhere and after a couple hours most everyone just went back to their normal lives and seemed to shrug off last night's events. But you and Allister were still on edge. Was there another villain visit? What even HAPPENED last night? You tried calling Leon to no avail and you couldn't find Hop or the twins anywhere you searched! You were getting worried at this point asking around but it seemed like no one saw any of your friends or boyfriend. You got your answer later that day when the sun was just going down and Sparky again alerted you to something.
"*PZZZT* Incoming call from Leon!", he called out flying from your pocket, "Do you wish to Accept or Decline?"
"Accept!," you answered immediately and Sparky accepted the call to which you rose a brow at. "LEON!! I've been trying to get ahold of you all day! Did you feel that shaking last night?! I can't find anyone anywhere!"
There was silence from Leon's end of the line before he finally answered. "U-Um...Eeeeh. Oh. Uh-...YYyyeaaaahh. About that-.." He started out in a low tone making you raise your brows. He sounded EXTREMELY nervous and stuttered as he spoke. "Um...I-Is Allister with you?''
You glanced to the little boy who was currently holding you hand with one hand and drinking a soda with the other watching a nearby pokemon battle (probably because one of the battling pokemon was a Haunter-) and not paying attention to you at all. "Of course he is...Why do you ask?"
"Could you meet Bea at the Lazy Rockruff cafe so she can watch him for a b-bit?" Your brow rose higher.
"...Why?"
"I- Uh-...G-Got something important to show you. Can you meet me by Pasio's woods? Please? I promise I can explain everything!"
Your brow rose higher? What was this so about? And so close to the end of the day. Well can't say you didn't want answers and Leon did ask you. Sigh. The things you got yourself into for the people you cared about. Well you did drop off Allister with Bea who thankfully took him before you made your way for he woods...Except Leon didn't say WHERE in the blasted forest to meet at!! By the time you even got there in was dark and you spent twenty mintues now just walking around shouting his name and straining your eyes to search for him in the growing dark-
"Y/N!!" You screamed and whipped around arm swinging on instinct and Leon ducked at JUST the right moment your fist went flying over his head but knocking his hat off and onto the ground with a thud. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Cease fire!" He quickly snapped back up holding his hands with a panicked expression. "It's just me!!"
You froze arm still raised staring at Leon...before sighing in relief. And slowly lowering your hands. "ARCEUS LEE!! DONT. DO. THAT!!" The man chuckled nervously as you frowned and crossed your arms. "Where have you been!? I've been looking for you all over this creepy forest! And what are you even doing here in the middle of the night?! It's creepy out here!"
"Uh-...Ye-Yeah. Um-..." His hand rubbed the back of his neck. "Hey, Y/n. Do you remember when you met Iris?"....Your brows furrowed more as he slowly and shakily reached down to pick up his hat and smile nervously. "W-Well-...I want you to meet someone else, but I know a lot of people would freak s-s-so I asked ya to meet me here."
"....I'm sorry. You lost me there. Can you start from the beginning?"
He opened his mouth and closed it multiple times, moving his hands around as he gestured at nothing and anything and went between fiddling with his hat and rubbing his neck between those gestures as he went between stuttering and silently opening his mouth seeming to try and form words. Meanwhile you stared at him harder trying to figure out what the heck he was trying to say before he just froze...Like literally just froze as if someone pressed pause on him. Gold eyes going wide and going behind you panickily, sweat forming on his face. What was- You froze as a breath of warm air suddenly hit the back of your body and a shadow blocked out the moonlight behind you. The hair on the back of your neck stood on end feeling the presence behind you as something VERY large towered over you-...and every SO SLOWLY you turned your head to look behind your shoulder. And your jaw dropped in a silent terrified scream!! Standing above you was a MONSTER!! A glowing black and red reptile snake skeleton thing floated just above you taking a few curious sniffs at your iced form. It made some kind of rumble grunt noise before tilting it's head at you curiously like a curious yamper. Meanwhile Leon continued to sweat furiously and smile even more nervously.
"U-Um...So! Uh-..S-Surprise! Ahaha! Um. Y-Y/n, you remember Eternatus right? Wo-Would you believe he crash landed here on Pasio!? HAHA!! F-Funny coincidence right!?"
You continued to stare at the thing above you before you took the deepest and loudest inhale of air you ever took, and slowly turned back to your boyfriend. "Leon." Leon flinched. "You have exactly ten seconds to explain what the frick frack snick snack in Arceus's name is going on before I lose my crap and scream!"
-JULY TO SEPTEMBER-
Well you took the news that not only did Eternatus survive but was now a permanent member of Leon's team well-.....Eventually. He had to explain everything and then had to have Hop and Gloria RE-explain just so you could wrap your head around it. Oh and apparently Steven Stone had requaza so Leon said there was nothing to worry about because if one Champion had a legendary pokemon then surely he could handle it. You however took a while to come to terms with that fact and decided to keep your distance from the thing for now. Of all the luck in the world right? Sigh.
How did these things keep happening to You of all people?
Leon begged you to give it a chance and that he'd make sure it was kept in safe hands and to not hate him for this. Sigh. You could argue with the puppy eyes he was giving you and agreed but said he had better keep a close eye on it. He couldn't stop hugging you and thanking you for over an hour. Sigh. Oh well. At least the thing was contained by the strongest trainer you knew. There was comfort in that at least. In the meantime you had others things to keep you busy. Taking care of Allister 24/7 was one of those things. He had a tendency to wonder off in the middle of the night to search for ghost pokemon so you had to keep an extra close eye on him. But today seemed like a normal day. You were able to see Leon for a bit before he had to leave since he agreed to meet up with some trainers that day to practice some battles before you gave him a kiss good bye on the cheek and going on your way. Everyone you knew was busy this day. Marnie and Gloria were running some kind of beach cafe stand with some new summer outfits Nessa slapped together for them and asked to borrow Silver for one of their games, Victor was training with Nessa for the Masters League, and you were pretty sure Hop was collecting some fur samples from some native Pasio pokemon for Sonia today. Everyone else was doing something else or competing in the new mini event the prince announced over the TV today. It was called The Battle of Gold or something like that, you were too busy taking care of Allister to pay much attention to it. So it was just you, Allister, and Zen after he finally decided to not sleep in and follow you around today. After seeing Leon at the center you got some breakfast, and decided to go on a walk to the woods today. It was the last month of summer and it'd be a good idea to get some fresh air and enjoy the nice weather before it got too cold. Plus it was a nice way to let Allister play around without bumping into a whole lot of people or lose him in the big crowds. Which was why you were smiling and watching as Allister ran in front of you zigzagging between a couple trees in a mix of tag and hide and seek with his Gengar who harmlessly chased after the boy popping in and out of the shadows making him let off rare high pitched laughs you otherwise wouldn't hear out of him. You were expecting him to have fun. What you weren't expecting was to run into someone while out here while you were just watching Allister and turned hearing the sound of something rustling through the brush, only to blink when a head of fluffy white hair and familiar pink coat came walking out of the woods and seemed just as surprised to see you standing there too. Before he gave his usual huff and frown.
"Hmph. It's just you." Turning his head he looked off to the side, "What are you doing here?"
"I'm taking Allister out for the day," you answered brow raising, "What are you doing in the middle of the woods?"
"Training for the Masters League of course! What else would I being with my time?," he stated matter of factly making Allister pause and look over towards the both of you for a moment...before his gengar tagged him making him squeal and give chase again. "I have to practice if I'm going to challenge Leon and every other champion here with my superior fairy types! Is it a crime to want to train where I won't be disturbed?"
"No. I was just surprised to see you out here is all."...You gave a smile before holding out your hand to him to shake which seemed to startle him making him flinch and blink at your smile. "Congratulations on making it into the competition! You did a great job battling back in the Star Tournament and the Battle Tower."
He still continued to stare at you dumbfounded before huffing again keeping his hands in his pockets. "Hmph. Not good enough. I still didn't win-"
"It doesn't matter if you win or lose, Bede," you interrupted him making him blink at your firm frown, "You can't expect to win every battle. Not even the Champions expect to win every battle they have. Even Leon lost some. But it doesn't matter who's the strongest or has the better pokemon. All that matters is that you try your best." He blinked when your hand patted his shoulder with a smile. "You're better at me with battling, and you were good enough to catch Prince Lear's attention to come here and compete. So don't be so hard on yourself. You're going to become strong, but at your own pace."
Bede's purple eyes continued to get wider and wider until he looked away embarrassed. "...I-I see. ...W-Well then I suppose one's own pace would best for d-discovering one's strength."
You smiled wider. "There you go. Don't worry about it too much. Just go at your own pace and everything will be ok."
While you talked to him Allister's gengar disappeared behind a giant bush and of course the little boy pushed some branches out of the way to follow him before he paused, masked eyes blinking at something behind the bush, before he excitedly hurried his way through the bush disappearing to the other side after the thing he saw. Meanwhile Bede hesitated when you pulled your hand away from him and looked back forward before looking back up and blurtin something out.
"Thankyou!''
You blinked at him. "...What?"
"I-I-I s-said-," he stuttered before clearing his throat and taking a breath. "I said. T-Thank you. For-...Blocking Oleana from me. I never got to thank you so I-I'm saying it now because I hate owing people things and I no longer w-want to owe you a thank you!"
You still stared at him for a moment but smiled as he embarrassedly looked away. "Hey. No problem." Your head turned back to Allister, but froze when you saw he was no longer in your line of sight. "ALLISTER!?" You suddenly shouted startling Bede and making Zen look up from the random tree he was sharpening his claws on. A spike of panic and fear spearing into your brain and down your spine-
"O-Over here." A small voice called and you heads turned to a movement in a bush before the limbs moved and a masked head timidly poked it's head out revealing Allister. ..He timidly waved at Bede. "H-Hi."
You breathed a sigh of relief. "Allister, don't run off like that. You scared me for a second....What are you even doing inside that bush?" You assumed playing hide and seek with his gengar.
He perked up and motioned for you to follow him. "Come see! I-I found something fun."
He disappeared back into the bush and you and Bede exchanged a look before following him, pushing through the giant bush and knocking off a few leaves before coming out the other sides. On the other side was Allister and his gengar, who was holding a giant yellow ball. The gengar was having fun throwing the giant yellow ball up and down in the air and laughing as it easily bounced on the ground. It looked like ones of those giant exercise balls you'd see yoga instructors use. Again you and Bede looked at each other in a confused manner. Well THIS was strange. What was a giant toy ball doing in the middle of the woods? Your head looked around the woods, but there wasn't anyone else around so where did this ball come from?
"I-Isn't it cool?," Allister asked happy to have found such a neat thing in the middle of the woods. His Gengar chuckled and softly bounced the giant ball to Allister who stumbled one or two steps catching it considering it was bigger than him, but he only giggled and easily held up the light weighted toy up. Giving you a hopeful look. "C-Can I keep it?"
"Well-..." You again looked around seeing no signs of anyone between the trees other than you three. Until eventually you shook your head no. "We better not. It doesn't belong to us and someone's probably going to come back looking for it."
"O-Oh..." He sadly shuffled his shoulders before looking back up. "C-Can I still play with it?"
"Sure. Just remember we have to put it back before we leave."
Allister nodded. "Ok! I will!" You smiled at how cute he was and Bede half way rolled his eyes before something large and yellow was softly rolled into his legs. Bede blinked at it before following the golden thing to Allister who nervously shuffled half way behind it. "U-Um...D-Do you wanna pl-play with me?"
The question shocked the both of you staring at Allister stunned before Bede blinked. "W-Well I-..*ahem* Well that's certainly a question. I-..'' He glanced between you and Allister looking lost. "I-I-I suppose... so?"
Allister seemed as surprised as you before he perked up. "R-Really?! Ok!" Before Bede could say anything Allister grabbed the golden ball and began pushing it towards a small opening in the trees within your eye sight. "C-C'mon! Y-You can watch Gengar juggle me and the ball!"
Bede blinked before a half alarmed look came over him. "Did you say 'juggle you'? Now wait a minute! Don't you consider that unsafe?" He quickly walked after the boy holding up a hand. "Let's not do that! We can play catch instead! A nice safe game without heights!"
You laughed at the sudden worry on Bede's face and decided to stand there and watch the two play around. There was just something so amusing about watching Bede fumble about to try and be gentle with Allister, and you laughed when the gengar spooked him by popping out of Bede's shadow. But to your surprise Bede didn't go off on any rants or say anything that might've made Allister feel bad. The two seemed to be getting along pretty decently. Opal did a good job with getting Bede out of that negative mindset Rose put him in. Yeah. He'd be alright. You stood there for a good twenty five minutes watching the two interact before something caught your attention. Hey. Wait a second. Where was Zen? You turned back to the bush before looking back at the two kids, they were both currently softly rolling the ball back and forth between them. It'll only take a moment to pop back through the bush and see where your zangoose went. Everything should be alright. So you turned and stepped back through the bush for just a second looking around-...And sighing when you spotted the zangoose lazily laying by the now clawed up tree from earlier in a patch of sun, but he did look up to you upon hearing the bush rustling. A smile graced your face seeing your boy yawn showing his large fangs off- and then a shriek pierced the air making you freeze and Zen immediately jump to his feet fur bristling down his back-
"Y/N!! Y/N!!! Y/N!!", Allister's usually meek voice wailed like he was on fire splitting the air open like a knife.
Your body moved on it's own on instinct at this point being used to protecting kids from danger and your instincts were on high alert as you literally came flying through the bush on the other side and stopped in your tracks at what slapped your vision. A stranger with black and white hair was standing there. A VERY tall man that would've even towered over Leon if he was here, he was staring at Bede eyes narrowed, and he was wearing some kind of weird red samurai suit that made clacking noises when his body moved. In front of him Allister was crying into his Gengar's side as the poor pokemon patted his back in a poor attempt to console him and Bede narrowed his eyes right back pointing at the strange man and yelling at him, and you understood why when you spotted a familiar golden ball held over the man's head.
"Listen here you uncouth fiend!," Bede hissed at the man, "You give that toy back this instant or else! Who are you to even take from a tiny child!? At least have the decency to battle him for it first!"
The man gave a grunt before leaning over Bede making his purple eyes shrink just as he now realized the major height disadvantage. "And who're you, lil punk? I bet yer part of Diantha's team aren't'cha? Tryin' to keep the sphere for your team I bet!"
"I-I-I-...W-What on earth are you even talking about!?" Bede shook his head and made an attempt to look threatening back. "Now see here! T-That toy doesn't even belong to you!"
"Oh yeah? Well it does now. What're you goin' to do about it, Cottonee Brain?"
Bede looked lost again staring up at this man and visibly gulped under his menacing form-
"HEY!!" Both looked over as you felt your anger rising. Your hands balled into fists and your face twisted into a scowl as you marched up to the man who stared not expecting another person to be there either. "WHAT IN ARCEUS'S NAME IS GOING ON HERE- OOF!!" You stopped almost tripped when Allister snapped from wailing into his gengar's side to hugging your pants leg instead stiff sniffing.
A shaky hand pointed up at the man. "H-H-He- *HIC*" Your heart broke at the small broken voice. "H-He took the b-ball."
..Well- Your broken heart was quickly replaced with anger as your face snapped back to the man with a scowl of hatred faster than a pokemon's quick attack. "What the heck is your problem, Man!? What grown butt adult steals toys from a little kid!?"
The man blinked before slowly standing back up to his full hieght. Well Bede immediately retreated from his spot to behind you glancing from the safety of behind your back. "Yeah? And who're you to butt in!? Mind your own business, Girly!"
"It IS my business if you're scaring my kids!?," you blurted back out not even backing down from him looking at you, "And who the heck are you!?"
"I'm the big bad boss that beats you down and beats you down-", he spoke up narrowing his eyes more lowering to glare you in the eyes, "-and never let's up! I'm destruction in human form! And if you think I'm lettin' you and a couple little punks walk away with my victory then you're in for a bad time!"
...You rose a brow and looked at Allister who still hiccuped clinging to you. Then over your shoulder at Bede who looked scared. Then you inhaled and looked back to this man. "Ok. I'm only going to say this once. Give us back the toy and I won't tear you to shreds."
The man blinked...before he threw his head back and laughed loudly. A smug smile on his face as you rose a brow. Oh well. Can't say you didn't warn him. Casually you bent down and picked up Allister. Bede yelped as you suddenly turned to him and practically shoved the boy into his arms.
"Here. Hold him. I want you to take the ball and just go over a little bit and play ok?" You smiled at both of them. "This shouldn't take too long."
"Take the ball? HA!," he spoke coming down from his laughing fit and smirking. "That's a good one! I'd like to see you do that. Why don't you do us a favor and go window shoppin' or sniffing flowers or somethin' girls like. That kid needs to learn to share anyways."
Bede's purple eyes widened before he glanced at your silent form. "....Oh no."
The man rose a brow-....
!?
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hey! What are ya doin' with that stick- AH!!"
Meanwhile in a different part of the forest two full teams of purple stood facing one another in silence waiting for one of the team's leader to return. Some wore fancy costumes for the occasion some didn't, some had their pokemon out already to begin battling. Each team having two giant golden spheres to guard. ....Eventually the awkward silence got to them and someone spoke.
"*ahem* So...I do not suppose your team has seen Guzma yet?," a woman in silver armor asked.
Another woman on the other team shook her head. "Sorry, Diantha. But I'm sure he'll be back any minute now!"
"Where on earth did he go?," Diantha questioned raising a brow. "We're supposed to battle to decide the winning team since no one can find the fifth sphere."
"That's just the thing. We don't know. He said he had to get something important and that he'd be right back....But it's been nearly an hour now."
Diantha hummed. Well that was odd. She didn't know Guzma well but she knew well enough to know this was strange for him. He couldn't be planning an ambush on her team, if he was he would've done it an hour ago, and they couldn't battle to decide the winner unless both teams had all their members. So where in the world could he have gone-
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
Almost everyone flinched when a loud man's yell pierced the air and made everyone jump as flying type pokemon scattered into the air at the high pitched yell. Making everyone look up at the sky.
"What was-"
"THAT'S GUZMA'S VOICE!!," someone cried looking horrified. "He must be in trouble! What if he's being attacked by a wild pokemon!?"
"EVERYONE REMAIN CALM!!," Diantha shouted before pointing to the ground and swiveling her body towards the direction of the scream. "I'll handle this! Stay here and guard the spheres!"
Her armor clanked as she sprinted off into the wooded trees and vegetation. Guzma must well be in trouble, but she wouldn't risk it being some kind of trick to get them to abandon their sphere for the other team to take. But she had to make sure he wasn't harmed in any way. As the Kalos champion disappeared into the brush the other team members looked at one another unsure of what to do without either of their team leaders until someone spoke up.
"So...Anyone know what's going on?"
Diantha's heart pounded in her chest, footfalls heavy as she ran towards the sounds of the yells of pain. That was most definitely Guzma's voice. She wasn't sure what was going on but she knew Guzma must've needed help! Her right hand squeezed her fateful partner's pokeball ready if need be-
"AH!! HELP!! SOMEONE COME HELP ME ALREADY!! OW!! OWOWOW!! HELP ME!!"
There he was! Just behind that giant bush up ahead! Picking up her pace, Diantha launched herself through the bush and raised her hand ready to throw the ball-....And stopped.
"AH!! OW! OW!! YOU'RE FREAKIN' CRAZY LADY- AH! LET GO O' ME!!"
"NOT UNTIL YOU APOLOGIZE YOU GIANT RED DUNG BEATLE!!"
"I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!!"
Diantha slowly blinked...before slowly lowering her arm and staring at the strange sight in front of her. Guzma was there alright....On the ground stomach first. With a woman on his back. The woman looked absolutely furious sitting on his back and forcibly pulling one of his arms behind him to keep him painfully on the ground with one of her feet braced against his shoulder blades in a way to make it impossible for him to reach around to yank her off him. No amount of kicking or rocking his body was able to throw her off either. Leaving him with no other choice but to cry out for help. His face was twisted in pain but turned desperate when he saw her.
"DIANTHA!!," he cried out his free hand banging the ground over and over, "GET THIS RABBID AIPOM OFF O' ME!! OW!!"
"NOT UNTIL YOU APOLOGIZE!"
"M' SORRY OK!! M'SORRY!! NOW GET OFF!!" You did let go at that point- He gave off a squeal when you suddenly lurched forward and both hands slammed themselves next to his head as he stared sideways at you from the ground. Eyes going wide as you scowled down at him from his back holding him down.
"If you ever try doing something like that again, I'll make sure to make you cry more than Allister did! This is going to be the only time I warn you about this."
Guzma said nothing as you got up, dusted yourself off, gave a curious look over at Diantha...before giving Guzma another scowl and walking off. Both team leaders stood there in silence as you walked off and disappeared through the brush, and still continued sitting in silence until Diantha looked at Guzma. His red suit made a couple clacking noises as he slowly sat himself up onto his behind rubbing his sore arm just-...silently staring at the direction where you disappeared off into. Before Diantha sighed, pocketing her pokeball and walked over to him.
"Honestly Mr. Guzma, what were you doing? Is this where you've been this whole time? We've been waiting for you for over an hour!"...She rose a brow when he said nothing. "Guzma? Are you alright? Your face is red."
"....I think m' in love."
"...WOT?"
Meanwhile you jogged and managed to catch up with both Bede and Allister who had by now calmed down completely and continued playing pass the ball back and forth with Bede, Zen trailing behind you. Your anger melted away to smile at the two and Allister perked up seeing you again.
"Y/n!" He ran up and you smiled sweetly as he hugged your legs. "D-Did you make him go away?"
You nodded. "Yep. I talked to the bad man and he said he's not going to bully anyone anymore." You patted his head. "And he's not going to take your ball again."
The purple eyes behind the mask widened. "MY BALL!?"
You nodded. "Yep. I don't think anyone else is going to try and take it so you can keep it."
"YAY!!" Allister through up his hands and you couldn't help but chuckle at him and the relieved look Bede gave you.
In the end Allister got to keep the giant golden bouncy ball and he seemed really happy to get ice cream afterwards when it got too dark and you walked both boys home. Allister happily rolling the golden ball next to you back to the hotel although it would be a bit of a struggle to fit it through the door, you were sure you could squeeze it in. You had JUST gotten back to the hotel when you ran into a certain lavender haired man. Making you smile widely at the Champion.
"LEON!!"
The champion perked up before turning around, wet hair plastered to his face before he lit up beaming seeing you there walking towards him. "Y/N! Hey! Where have you been?"
"Babysitting and talking sense into a bully, but everything's alright now."
"I found a ball!," Allister spoke up happily holding up the giant golden ball to Leon, "Y/n said I can keep it! I can't wait to show Bea tomorrow!"
"You did!?" Leon smiled happily spitting a few grains of beach sand out of his mouth. "That's great! Sounds like you had an amazing day."
"Hey, Lee." he turned to you with a hum. "...Why are you all soaked? I'm pretty sure it didn't rain today."
"Huh? Oh. I got lost and ended up on the ocean floor so I had to swim up onto the beach. Just my luck the people I was battling today was right there so it all worked out in the end! So no worries!"
You stared at him. ".....How did you end up walking out of the ocean!?"
-OCTOBER-
Well it turns out the Masters League was pushed back far enough that it wouldn't even take place until the very end of the year after Christmas. Sigh. So you were going to have to spend another two months here on Pasio. Well it wasn't all bad. Halloween was rapidly approaching which made Allister all excited because it was his favorite holiday! It was cute seeing him get all excited and happily say he was going to get the biggest bad of candy of all the kids trick or treating!! He was even more excited when Nessa one day showed up to take his measurements to make him his very own costume! So he was very much excited. When he wasn't excitedly seeing all the halloween decorations he was playing with the new ball he got or having Nessa come and take double measurements or showing him pictures of designs she had in mind or some fabric she wanted his opinion on. At one point he lost a few of his masks after the cleaning lady of the hotel misplaced them while cleaning his hotel room. Allister freaked out and what was worse was that it was Halloween and Bea wanted to take him for Prince Lear's plan for the Midnight Spookfest. Oh yeah. You remembered eyeing the Prince who showed up out of the blue to talk to Allister about being the surprise opponent to his haunted house attraction. You think Allister only agreed because he felt guilty about saying no...Well guess where all those masks ended up? YEP! Turns out someone from the hotel found the abundant of masks just sitting in the hallway and decided to use them to decorate one of the rooms in the Prince's manor where most of the festival's activities were taking place. It took you FOREVER to help his gengar remove all those masks from the walls to give them back to Allister. Luckily it seemed no one minded you were taking them down and handing them back to Allister or didn't want to approach you with the scowl you wore trying to carry all these masks at once all the way back to the hotel. Sigh. But on the bright side Allister seemed to enjoy himself for the night and was able to go trick or treating after the Prince's small battling event ended. Thank goodness he didn't try flirting with you again because he was so busy manhandling the event. By the time you got back to the hotel arms full of masks, Nessa had already dropped off his costume and it was absolutely ADORABLE!! He looked like a cute little pumpkaboo when he eventually put it on and hurried you out the door into the streets. There was already a lot of kids and teenagers in the streets going from house to house with bags full of candy, and you were surprised Allister was able to drag you around with one hand excitedly from house to house asking for candy and being followed by multiple ghosts pokemon giggling his head off. But you weren't complaining. Let him have a good time. You ran into Leon's cousin and Iris joined you both to trick or treat at a couple houses before saying good bye before complimenting Allister's Costume. All in all it was surely a Halloween you'd not soon forget for a while.

i'm not sure if you got it bc i sent it during class, but i would like to hear about the horizons swap au with leon!! full permission to gush btw :)
HI thank you for indulging me ahhsjdd. I didn't see a previous message so it probably got eaten.
SO the working idea is that Horizons and SwSh characters are swapped. Not all of them because SwSh cast is bigger and I have favorites.
I'll be honest in that I haven't fully fleshed out the SwSh cast side, so have only Leon for now.
Leon is the leader of the Blazing Brave Birds. Hailing from Postwick, at a young age he became more interested in traveling around to see what laid beyond his hometown than participating in the Gym Challenge. It wasn't hard to accidentally discover new places given his tendency to get hopelessly lost, and he often made the most out of his time there. To say that he pretty much (accidentally) explored almost the entirety of Galar wasn't a stretch. Eventually he set his sights on seeing the entire world, and through connections he's made over the years, he'd become the proud owner of a souped up blimp that would carry him through skies beyond his home region.
He's accompanied at least by Hop, Gloria, Marnie, Sonia, Raihan, Kabu, Milo and Nessa. The Explorers is led by Rose, where Bede comes after Gloria for the pendant she has.
Alright so for the Horizons cast:
Friede is the undefeatable Champion of Galar. He's been Champ since he was 15 years old and has been holding onto the position for nearly half his life now. His fans have split opinions on who his ace is: either Gigantamax Charizard or Pikachu. He's cheerful, friendly, super helpful but has the tendency to forget things. Like he'd arrive at a spot and forget why he was supposed to be there in the first place. He's got a Rotom Phone that sets constant reminders for important business or else he'd forget to attend.
Professor Lucca is the regional professor. She and Roy's grandfather helped Friede a lot during his teenage years before he became Champion so he agreed to help give starters to Liko and Roy when they reached the age to become Pokemon Trainers. Liko picked Sobble as her starter while Roy chose Scorbunny. Initially Friede didn't consider endorsing them for the Gym challenge but changed his mind once he saw their potential. These kids were rough around the edges but he can tell that with time and polish, they could shine.
Liko and Roy are neighbors in Postwick! Initially Liko didn't really thought about participating in the Gym Challenge but Roy went on and on about wanting to become Champion himself some day. After Liko received her starter, that sent her down on the path of discovering what kind of Trainer she actually wanted to be. Roy and Liko would end up becoming rivals that helped each other become stronger.
The Chairman of the Galar League is Gibeon, president of Macro Cosmos. He saw potential in Friede, choosing to endorse him. He's a rather mysterious guy. Gibeon himself doesn't make much public appearances. The times he did were in holographic form and even then, his true look remained a mystery to the general public. Still, thanks to his generous contribution to various aspects of Galar--such as making the Galar League famous by introducing Dynamax phenomenon into the Gym battles--he's got positive ratings with the people.
Most of Friede's interactions with Gibeon is through Spinel, his secretary. Deep down, Friede never got along with Spinel. The guy was polite and affable but at times, he felt like that wasn't his true self. Something about him rubbed Friede the wrong way but he kept those thoughts to himself. He worked with Spinel when needed, accepting whatever task given.
Currently, Gibeon is sponsoring Amethio for the Gym Challenge. Amethio highly respects Gibeon, that much was easily seen with the near reverent way he addresses the man during the few times Friede came across him. Friede could tell that Amethio doesn't particularly like him for one reason or another. Whenever they crossed paths, Amethio would say that he'd be the one to beat Friede and take the Champion position. Friede simply encourages him to do so, much to Amethio's annoyance. The Pokemon that Gibeon gifted Amethio is a Honedge that's now an Aegislash.
Orla is Friede's childhood friend. They started their respective Gym challenge around the same time (Orla getting endorsed by the current Motostoke Gym Leader). While Friede was the one who ultimately won and became Champion, Orla was always close behind him. Friede appreciated the challenge that she gave him, pushing him to always do his best for his greatest rival. Currently she's the Motostoke's Steel-type Gym Leader with her ace being her Metagross.
Ludlow is Friede's actual grandfather and the Dragon-type Gym Leader in Hammerlocke. He's part of the reason that inspired Friede to actually take on the Gym Challenge in the first place. He and Opal were some of the longest running Gym Leaders in the Major League. Despite their differing specialization, Ludlow and Opal are really good friends. They often share a cup of tea together and reminisce about the good old days, also discussing about the potential of future Galar Trainers. His ace is a Drampa.
Mollie is the Normal-type Gym Leader in Turffield. Being the first Gym Leader that budding Gym challengers take on, she's quick to show them that Normal-types are not to be underestimated. She looks a little cool and serious when battling but outside of it, she's kind and gentle, even offering to help heal the Pokemon of her challengers. Her ace is Blissey.
Murdock is the Rock-type Gym Leader in Spikemuth. Seeing as its the only leg in the Gym Challenge without a stadium or power spot, he works hard to improve the town's image even if he gains a reputation for being a rough, scary looking guy. He's a pillar in the community, someone who Spikemuth would rally behind. Whenever challengers actually get to beat him, he'd hold celebrations with them and the town where he'd cook something up for everyone to enjoy. Win or lose, it's always an occasion. His ace is Midday Form Lycanroc.
Dot is Murdock's niece that lives with her mom (Murdock's little sister). She's a single mother after Dot's dad left the family so Murdock stepped up to take care of Dot throughout the years. She became reclusive, not having many friends until she chanced upon making friends with Liko via their shared love for a streamer that they watch. Dot was encouraged to take the step of taking on the Gym Challenge too despite not being a battler. Dot wears a mask when out in public since she finds it easier to pretend that she's someone else when she wears it. Her starter is an Impidimp that Murdock gifted her (he also endorsed her for the Gym challenge).

GALAR
GLORIA: An enthusiastic and well meaning girl from Postwick. Grew up playing lots of board and card games with Hop and her family, and is very open about her more niche interests and how she can implement them into her new Champion role. Plays a Pockets and Monsters campaign with her family in Unova and Alola every other week that she GMs. A big crybaby and will shed tears at anything remotely emotional. Tries to see the best in everyone and everything, and tries her hardest to show kindness and patience even with those who don’t reciprocate. Gets embarrassed about how loud she can be without noticing, but those around her appreciate her own high-energy presence. Loves to cook curry and would spend hours testing out different recipes.
Traveled with Victor over the course of their gym challenge after he helped her and Hop find the first gym challenge. Hop would travel with them some days when he'd run into them, which made Gloria happier than she'd admit to her best friend (Victor always sees through her and encourages her about her crush on Hop). Gloria also looks up to Sonia immensely and sees her as the big sister she's never had, which Sonia also loves.
ZACIAN: Entrusted Gloria with her care during the confrontation of Castiel and Brant.
VICTOR: Raihan's little brother. Grew up seeing Marnie a lot since their brothers started dating, and is close friends with the girl. Comes across as a smaller presence in battle and in public persona than his brother, but he doesn't mind it much. Eventually makes a good name for himself through the gym challenge, making it far and only being bested by Bede before he went on to fight Gloria. A gentle and understanding, yet straightforward, boy who sticks firmly to his beliefs and morals. Quick to speak out over injustices he sees, he was the one that confronted Bede after what he said to Hop. Enjoys cooking with Gloria, and likes seeing how outrageous he can make dishes. Though no matter how odd the recipes and ingredient lists end up being, they always taste amazing, with top notch presentation.
Watching his brother's matches, he grew interested in the technical parts of battle: like using terrain effects or battle items to confuse the opponent. Has crafted his battle style to be just as confusing with items and moves, one of the traits that impressed Leon and asked him to work in the Battle Tower with him. His starter was also a Grookey gifted to him after helping a lost Leon find his way back to the city.
GALARIAN BIRDS: Upcoming
KUBFUS/URSHIFUS: Gifted to Victor and Gloria by Mustard. Evolved them into the Water and Dark form, respectively.
HOP: Studying under Sonia, and has officially earned his entry white coat from his two years of study- but is still working hard towards becoming a full fledged pokemon professor. Has had a rapid growth spurt, and is now taller than Leon, and even Victor. Sadly outgrew his old denim jacket (though it's still stashed away safely in his closet out of sheer sentiment) but has since received a new denim jacket from Gloria that he wears almost every time he's out and about. Has nearly called Sonia his sister on many occasions since she and Leon had recently started dating.
ZAMAZENTA: Trusted Hop with his care during the confrontation of Castiel and Brant.
MARNIE: Spikemuth gym leader. Is a big softie for all things cute, and has a large plushie collection that only Gloria and Victor know about. The tabloids are constantly trying to guess who Marnie's "elusive girlfriend" is, as she's always seen out with someone- but they've never caught her significant other on camera.
BEDE: Ballonea gym leader. Has grown more tolerable since becoming friends with the others. Once broke down crying in laughter alongside Gloria on live television when a reporter asked them if they were a thing (their laughter lasted for 3 whole minutes straight- embarrassing the reporter for the tabloids the next day). Sees Opal, Rose, and Oleana as his odd immediate family- which leads to some interesting family dinners.
PALLA: Gloria's mum who is also the creator of the tabletop RPG "Pockets and Monsters". Originally from Unova, she studied abroad in Hoenn and Sinnoh, focusing on the study of ancient titan pokemon. Her research brought her to Galar, where she met a fellow researcher who would end up being Gloria's dad. Her research trail of the Titans drew cold for a time in Galar, but she had recently gotten reason to believe there may be truths to her old research than she'd thought.
CONAN: Gloria's dad and good friend of Peony's. Worked part-time in a pokemon center cafe when he met Palla, but eventually went back to the field in his study of Galarian mythos and history full time. Landing a position in his hometown in the Crown Tundra where he monitored and studied the max raid dens there, he began noticing odd things happening there in the recent year.

My interpretation of Pokémon protagonists (Galar)
The Galar kids :0 Very underrated duo imo
-Gloria chose Scorbunny and Victor picked Grookey
-they both participate in the gym challenge but Victor decided to quit after defeating Raihan while Gloria continued to challenge Leon
-they're 13
-Gloria and Victor are both mutual friends of Hop's, but while Hop and Gloria have been friends for years, Victor only became part of the group shortly before the game's events take place
-the three of them travel together for a while until the point Hop grows insecure of his battling skills. Gloria and Victor decide to stick together because they get along well
-Victor is super talented at cooking curry and will often make enough food for both his and Gloria's teams to eat for days
-Gloria is motivated and can have a short temper at times, Victor by contrast is more easy going and loses interest in things quickly
-Gloria has 3 rivals (Marnie, Hop and Bede) and loves battling them at any given opportunity
-the both of them stop Dynamaxing their Pokémon during the gym challenge after defeating Piers, out of solidarity with Spikemuth. Gloria only Dynamaxes again during her battle against Leon
-Victor is surprisingly strong despite looking so scrawny because of the huge backpack he carries around every day -Gloria's favorite curry is burger-steak. Victor is a cheese-covered kinda guy
-Victor notices that Marnie has a crush on Gloria but that she doesn't realize it. He tries setting them up but accidentally causes Gloria to friendzone Marnie every time
-Gloria feels a lot of guilt throughout the journey for unknowingly making Hop feel inferior to her. They don't have a chance to make up until the Eternatus fight
-Gloria has a connection with Zamazenta and Victor with Zacian

Daddy's little "Monster" Part 2/?
(Tw: Mentions of bad past, gore, weapon)
(Kaida's POV)
Papa Raihan and I were in a new Place called Wyndon, buying me comfy clothes. I saw a cosy bow and ran towards it. "Kaida, you find something you like?" Makua asked, to which i nodded, showing him the bow. "Awe! it's your colour too dear" he said, lifting me up onto his shoulders as we went to check out. The workers knew i was a hybrid and made me feel as comfortable as i could be. After Papa payed and left the mall, he let me off his shoulders and I held his hand. "Wanna get changed into your new clothes? or do you want to meet my friends?" He asked, kneeling to my level. "C-change" I said, snuggling into his arms. He chuckled and took me to his stadium.
(Raihan's POV)
I walked with Kaida back to the stadium to get dressed up in the new clothes i bought with them. "Makua, Who are your friends? Are they mean, or kind?" Their shy voice asked, a bit of worry in their voice. "Kaida, they're really sweet, some of them can be quiet but otherwise they will adore you" I replied, now opening the stadium's doors. "Go get dressed hon, you can keep the hoodie." I said, letting their hand go. After five minutes, they returned wearing the bow around their neck, a white sweatshirt, my hoodie, light blue jeans, black socks, and white tennis shoes. "I'm back, Makua" They exclaimed, hugging my leg. I was texting the gym leaders to meet in Turffield stadium along with leon, my dad Ryuko, Avery and Klara, hop, victor, and gloria when i looked down and saw their adorable face. "My friends will absolutely adore you, you are way too cute" I said, holding them in my arms(Note: Kaida's short for an Eleven year old). "Yay! Where are we gonna see them?" They asked, looking into my eyes. "Turffield, it's not far in flying taxi, i already called one" i said, ruffling their hair. "W-wheres turffield?" They asked, scared. "Don't worry, its not near your old fathers house, you'll be safe." I replied, now walking towards the flying taxi.
(Kaida's POV)
Makua and I landed in yet another new place called Turffield, where there was a gym at the bottom of the hill. we both walked down and near the gym, walking in. "Hey guys!" Makua said, waving at the many people. "Awe, that child is just precious!" A man with pink hair and a farm hat said, crouching to meet my level. "Hi cute thing! My name's milo, im the gym leader here"the man said, making me comfortable. "H-hello....m-mr. Milo" I stuttered, letting him touch my feathers(Another note: Kaida lets people they are comfortable with touch her wings, but while one of their wings are in recovery, its mainly the right wing). "Kaida's never much of a talker when meeting new people, wow milo!" makua said, Milo smiling. "well i've rescued an injured articuno before, hence why its Bede's ace for his team" He said, staring at an older man who was dressed in a towel, a soft brown turtleneck, black jeans, and tennis shoes. The man came over, sat on his knees, fluffing my hair. "My name's kabu, child. You're perfect for a cute eleven year old." He said, hugging me. "Careful kabu, they were hurt at their old home...that's how i found them in the wild area" makua said, kabu letting me go. "May I ask how it happened, if it's not too personal is all dear" The male asked, looking into my eyes. "H-his name was Colress, i was born like this from makuahine's makuahine, which means mom's mom, my grandma. She was a hybrid of an articuno like me, and he killed mama in front of me, he stabbed my wing where there are bandages, i ran away after that, that's how makua found me" I said, hugging milo and kabu, who were shocked, along with the others, even makua. "H-he always called me a monster, even though i was born this way..." I added, now crying. "Shhh...Kaida, its ok!" I heard makua say, hugging me tight. "Rai's right, dear. Your perfect in your own way, no one can say otherwise, not even that idiot named Colress, we all know him alright, and he's not fit to be your father, raihan on the other hand, he's an amazing person" someone with a female voice said, sitting on her knees. another male came next to her, sitting on the soft grass. "My mom's right, Rai is a perfect fit for a father, not Colress" The person said, ruffling my hair. "Are you more calm now sweetie?" Papa said, looking into my tear stained eyes. "Mhm..." i nodded my head, now looking at the two new people. "Awe! Raihan shes so adorable!" the female said, snuggling me. "Mom be careful! their wing is injured" her son said, trying to grab me.
(Raihan POV)
Gordie and Melony were fighting to hold kaida and i was laughing along with Milo. "Gordie! Melony! Stop fighting over them, let them choose who they want to see" Milo exclaimed as Kaida covered their ears. "Thank you. Kaida, choose between ms melony and mr gordie ok?" I said, Kaida looking at the two. "They seem more focused on Gordie, that's just so cute" Kabu said as Kaida crawled to Gordie, staring into his sapphire eyes. "We have the same eyes!" They said, giggling. "We do indeed, Kaida, my name is Gordie." He said, holding Kaida like they are his child. "Gordie they may be a bit drowsy, so if you feel them lay against you, let them, they haven't slept in a while i guarantee" I said, rubbing Kaida's back. "Ok raihan, can we let our ace pokemon out? I wanna see if they have a pokemon, if not, i've seen galarian Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres flying around as of lately, as if they're protecting Kaida" Gordie requested, to which i nodded. Milo's Eldegoss, Nessa's Drednaw, Kabu's Centiskorch, Opal's Alcremie, Bea's Machamp, Allister's Gengar, Melony's Lapras, Gordie's Coalossal, Piers's Obstagoon, my Duraludon, Leon's charizard, Avery's Galarian Slowking, and Klara's slowbro all came out, but no pokemon for Kaida. "Which one does Kaida like Raihan? So i can catch it" Gordie asked, grabbing a master ball. "Kaida? Which of the three birds do you like?" I whispered, they looked at me with a sleepy look. "M-Moltres is nice...B-but zapdos too...I can't decide between those two..."They whispered back, snuggling closer to gordie as they drifted off. "Well they like both moltres and zapdos, i believe i have extra master balls, here, take this one, that way you can get both" I repeated to gordie. He nodded, gently put Kaida in my arms, and walked to the wild area. "I think they're sleeping now." Piers said, sitting in front of me. "Yea, they may need this nap, i haven't seen them sleep since...well, ever!" Hop said. Kaida and hop had a big friendship when growing up was all i knew, he helped her throughout her old life in galar and alola, as he was there researching about different forms of pokemon. "It's been a while since ive seen them all cozy in soft clothes! that bow on their neck is from wooloo wool" He said, sitting next to milo and Piers. "Can i hold Kaida?" Piers asked, to which i nodded and handed them over.

Heya, Raihan (Pokémon) here, me and my Leon are trying to find some friends. Anybody from SWSH is welcome to interact!
We’re partially looking for Hop, Piers, Allister and Sonia, since we were closest to them, but anybody and everybody we’re open to talk to :)
Also, if it helps, our canon primarily followed the games, rather than anything in the anime, and Victor and Gloria both existed- being twins.

8 and 14 for Clover and Laurel?
Thanks for the ask @ihopethisendswell ! I love talking about my fan kids from my favourite swsh ships. This might be long... I like to ramble, lol.
8. What was your OC's most embarrassing moment? Does it still bother them, or are they able to shrug it off?
Well, Clover's most embarrassing moment happened when she was a toddler. She was 3 years old, and it was her very first public appearance at the Post Champion Cup Gala. The night was going well, and Clover was enjoying the festivities up until she bumped into a reporter. The reporter made a comment about how Clover is cuter than a Wooloo. Upon hearing this, a 3 year old Clover broke down into a sobbing mess. She cried into her father's arms while shouting, "I'm not cuter! Wooloo is cuter than me!" It took Hop and Gloria over an hour to console Clover. To this day, there's video footage of little Clover's outburst on the internet. Now, at age 16, this embarrassing moment doesn't bother her. Clover laughs it off as she knows that her love for Wooloo has no bounds.
Regarding Laurel's most embarrassing moment, it would be her struggle on mastering her father's Charizard pose. At age 6, Laurel wanted to welcome her father home with the Charizard pose. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get it right. When Leon came home, he saw his daughter crying on the sofa and asked what was wrong. Laurel responded with, "I wanted to show you that I could do your Charizard pose, but I just can't do it right!" Leon comforted Laurel and then taught her how to do the pose correctly. Sonia made a home video of this exact father-daughter moment. Now that she's 18, Laurel isn't bothered by her most embarrassing moment. She looks back at it fondly.
14. How important is friendship to your OC? Do they prefer to have one or two close friends or a large group of casual friends? Or do they prefer their own company over that of others?
Both cousins highly value friendship, even going as far as treating their friends as if they're family. Clover prefers to have one or two close friends. She has a sister like dynamic with Bede's daughter and a very close friendship with Marnie's son. (I don't have names for Clover's friends yet, but I'm very sure that Clover's much closer with Marnie's son. She met him first and has a crush on him.)
Now, Laurel also prefers to have one or two close friends. She has a strong friendship with Raihan and Piers' daughter. (I don't have a name yet, though.) They are inseparable and love to tease their respective cousin about their crushes. (Clover and Marnie's son get so flustered with their constant teasing.)
