Star-Crossed by Choice: Chapter 3
Yandere Raihan & Leon with Champion Darling
Pokemon SwSh and SV Crossover
<< Chapter 1 | 2
Masterlist
apologies for the sudden hiatus yall ;-; i've been pulling midnight days almost every day for the past month for work on top of dealing with quite a severe writer block - things has been calming down somewhat so I look forward to ramping up my writing again! thank you for your patience :3
Tumblr media
“You ungrateful little whore,” Raihan all but snarled out, the whites of his gritted teeth glinting in the dim street light as he stared you down.
Your body instantly reacted, attempting to stumble back and away despite having collapsed on the ground, your trembling gaze all but locked on Raihan’s icy teals, unable to turn away. If looks could kill, you wouldn’t be dead, no - the fate that awaited you was so much worse than the kind embrace of death. Your Cinderace let out an uncertain trill as it looked back at you, quickly followed by an annoyed one as it shifted to block your view of the gym leader. The astute Pokemon you had the honor to call your partner was more than well aware of the situation, though its efforts did little to stop the shivers that wrecked your body as you tried and failed to force yourself to get up and move.
Raihan was hardly deterred. “After all I’ve done for you, after all you’ve put me through-” The taller man took a step forward, his towering shadow falling over you, eyes almost seeming to glow in the dark and he stared you down. “This is how you repay my love?”
It was as if your Cinderace barely existed between the two of you, those narrowed eyes piercing straight past the Pokemon and into your soul, a shot from a harpoon that hooked into your flesh and froze you in place. There was no right answer to his question, even if you could muster the words to reply, because there wasn’t supposed to be one; you were never right. Only wrong.
The town of Cortando was predictably quiet at this time of the night, with residents and student visitors having long retreated into their beds to prepare for the coming day. You envied them - and you always had - having the freedom that the new dawn would bring to look forward to. And even though you treasured every day you could roam the rolling hills of Paldea, free from the shackled throne you were forced to sit upon in Galar, it wasn’t without needing to constantly look over your back for the monsters that lurked in the shadows.
And now, the freedom you had so carefully constructed for yourself was threatening to shatter before your eyes.
You gulped, pleading eyes sliding to glance at Nemona, who was still staring blankly at the whole ongoing shitshow. What now? Could you simply give all this up? Go back to the safety of what you knew? You had to, your mind screamed at you. Concede now, surrender and return peacefully before it’s too late, and you could maybe still enjoy some semblance of the miniscule comfort you had before your abrupt escape.
But it was your heart and the sinking feeling in the base of your gut that told you the truth. That it was already too late for you: you had forced the Hammerlocke gym leader into giving up all pretense of playing the persona he was so loved for, and like an awakened dragon, the man you faced was now one usually reserved only for you and your transgressions against him. Allowing others to lay eyes on such a private side of him would hardly be kind to you if Raihan got his way.
“Hey! Eyes here while I’m talking to you,” the man snapped, and your gaze immediately jumped back to meet his, the hair on the back of your neck standing as you realized that you had been too obvious in allowing your attention to waver away from Raihan. If Cinderace hadn’t been between the two of you, you were sure around your neck was exactly where the other’s hands would be at this precise point in time. “Do I mean so little to you now, princess? Just trash to be cast aside, huh?”
What now? What else?
Yet that was hardly the whole sum of your issues at the moment. Allowing your eyes to slide away from Raihan once more as the man continued to vent and rant to himself, and there in the dim yellow light waited another patient pair, Leon looking deceptively relaxed from where he was leaned against an unassuming lamppost lazily scanning his surroundings, just a stone’s throw behind the hoodie-touting gym leader. And as if he could feel your wide-eyed stare, the ex-Champion looked up, catching your eyes lingering on him. Smirking as he dropped whatever it was that he had been tossing from one hand to the other, the purple-haired man leisurely strolled over, clapping one hand over an unusually agitated Raihan’s shoulder. “Calm, Raihan,” Leon smirked, golden eyes having never left yours. “She’s still here.”
Raihan let out an annoyed tsk, shaking Leon off of him, though the gym leader did take a deep breath and calmed down.
I’m still here, you repeated mentally. So close where they could almost grasp you, your eyes flickering between the two as their shadow only seemed to grow longer and longer, swallowing you up and dragging you further from the light, yet so far away. Your chances to get away were only getting slimmer with every passing minute. Having to shake Raihan off was one thing, with the blue-eyed man’s seemingly dragon-like senses and his ability to read you like an open book, but adding Leon into the equation was a whole different ball game.
But you had to try. Giving up and returning to that life that awaited you, it simply wasn’t an option, if not for you, then for your beloved Pokemon friends. You’ve already beaten them once, you tried to reassure yourself. All that time ago, when you had become Galar Champion, and then again and again every Championship. Slowly, painstakingly slowly, you shifted your hand, dipping into your pocket to pull out a small clicker, all the while wrecking your brains to come up with a plan. You just had to beat them again this time. Give up, those nagging voices at the back of your mind urged again.
Far from the rage that Raihan had worked himself into, Leon was still calm and collected, the tanned man with a mob of purple hair reaching out towards you, offering one ungloved hand as if an olive branch. “It’s time to come home, love,” he reassured. “It’s not too late. Everything’ll go back to normal, same way it always was, if you come home with us now. I promise.”
A lie. You know better to fall for those honeyed words - that hadn’t been a question but an order. You closed your eyes, letting out a shuddering breath. It was all too much for you.
Those amber eyes moved to lock onto your Cinderace. “And you. Return to your Pokeball.”
Your partner pokemon bristled, letting out a warning growl.
Leon had always frightened you, more than Raihan ever did. The Dragon gym leader had always been very obvious, very deliberate with his actions, never bothering to hide his intentions, to the extent of making it public to his leagues of fans the moment you were in his grasp. But you hadn’t even noticed the once-undefeated Champion’s claws wrapping around you until he already had you trapped.
The glimpse of purple hair you kept catching from the corner of your eye had you momentarily thinking of Hop, your oldest and dearest friend that you had left behind in Galar. You wondered how he was doing, whether he still thought of you like you did of him. Whether he had already achieved his goal of researching rare pokemon. Whether he still looked up to his older brother after what Leon had done to him the day you toppled Goliath and became reigning Champion.
You thought about writing to him from time to time, especially during those lonely nights when you camped out in the far corner of some field, stoking a crackling fire under the twinkling stars with your Pokemon fast asleep around you. You remembered when Hop would join you to feast on curry when the two of you were kids, when neither had any worries beyond homework and whether the channels would have the latest episode of your favorite show. But you had always decided against it at the end of the day, worried about being tracked down should Leon get a hold of one - and you could only offer simple wishes up to whatever deity was listening that Hop was doing well.
Fat load of good that did you.
Your hand moved fast, tapping away on the converted morse paddle key hidden to the side of your body: non-verbal instructions to your Cinderace. Not only was it a system that both you and your Pokemon were well accustomed with, having practiced it again and again throughout the course of the Galar Championships and beyond, but it also took advantage of Pokemon’s natural heightened senses and your two self-established “guardians” inability to understand. And you knew your partner heard you loud and clear, the bunny Pokemon’s ear twitching in acknowledgement despite keeping its back turned to you.
Though despite your best attempts, your unspoken communication didn’t go unnoticed. Leon’s face darkened, in step with Raihan snarling. “Not going to use your words?” “What did I say about clicking?”
Fortunately, right on cue, Cinderace took a quick swipe at them, forcing the two men back a few paces to avoid the tip of its feet before your partner retreated back to stand guard in front of you.
The breeze had picked up once more, carrying with it the calls of Hoothoot and the rustle of grass from outside of town, the fields alive with nocturnal Pokemon. You shivered in the warm wind, your mind racing. One step down, countless more to go. Could you pull it off?
It was far too obvious that you weren’t giving up the fight just yet, Raihan mused, sharp eyes lasering in on you as you kept your gaze downturned and focused on the ground, his grin only seeming to lengthen with the shadows that danced in the night. Sure, you had always been on the timid, shy side, even to the point of being a selective mute, but he could tell this was one of those rare times where your instinct to struggle against the current bubbled to the surface. You had always been a crafty little thing when you needed to.
Yet the scales were still tipped in his favor.
“Fiery,” the Hammerlocke gym leader all but purred out, pulling your attention out from your thoughts. “You sure you wanna do that though?” He reached into his pocket, and you flinched on instinct. Good.
Pulling out an all-too familiar Pokeball, the orb was clutched in one tanned hand held halfway out, just enough for the light to catch its top.
You turned pale, staggering to your feet immediately, your eyes locked on that ball. No doubt you would easily recognise the Pokeball he now held as your own: the once-glossy red surface painstakingly decorated with cute little details that he imagined you carving with the tip of a knife in the light of a campfire once upon a time, far out in the Wild Area and away from prying eyes. “You know who this is, don’t you, lil champ?”
You couldn’t tear your eyes away, tears beginning to well in the corner of your already swollen eyes as you tried to shake your head, attempting to plead silently to spare you the pain.
Ah that helpless, what a sight for sore eyes indeed. If only you could voice that plea.
And with a quick toss, it was clear to the hooded trainer that he had only confirmed your worst nightmares, Lapras bursting forth and manifesting before Cinderace with a cry. Back when he had let his guard down and allowed you to escape from his grasp back in Galar, you had managed to slip away with just six of your Pokemon - your prized Pokemon to say the least, given those six formed the core of your Championship team. But, Raihan smirked, casually sliding both hands into the pockets of his hoodie, it was no secret you cared deeply for all your Pokemon, and those you left behind were still in his and Leon’s possession.
Even your Cinderace seemed uncertain of the evolving situation, breaking its fighting stance to glance between you and its former ally.
Now, what were you going to do next?
Your world felt like it was on the brink of imploding, the very air just a wrong touch away from collapsing around you. That wretched thick black collar that hung from Lapras’ neck, one you were all too familiar with - you could barely bite back the whimper that you felt threatening to escape from your throat. Whatever you did, one wrong move and you would once again be the sole cause of the world of suffering Lapras would be put through.
You shaking met Lapras’ eyes, to which the Pokemon let out a mournful sigh, and Cinderace returned a sad trill. It wasn’t the first time both had found the other on opposing sides since you had your living arrangement forcibly updated at the end of the Galar Championship, but neither liked the outcome. Maybe Leon and Raihan were right. Maybe you should just give in and end the pain.
“Just leave her alone already!” A sudden interruption that sliced through the silence of the night like a hot knife through butter, and Nemona came stomping over from behind him, an uncharacteristically furious expression painted across the usually cheery girl. “She doesn’t want to go with you!” With a distinct lack of fear in her eyes and a lack of care for who your two pursuers were on the world stage, your friend marched past them without a second glance, putting herself squarely on your side and in your corner.
The Champion-ranked trainer turned to you. “Don’t get me wrong, I most definitely want to have a battle with you once all this blows over,” she declared, pausing for a moment before continuing on. “And I want to know everything. But I’m on your side. Got it?”
You simply nodded.
There was little question that Raihan and Leon would be angry, and you didn’t need to look to know just how downright pissed they were. Instead opting to turn your gaze to Nemona then to the ground, it was as if your mind had connected the dots faster than you could have realized, and you had to take a second look at the uniform-clad girl. Right before it hit you like a charging Rhyhorn, the sudden realization instantly shaking your entire perspective and turning your world upside down.
You were no longer in Galar.
Yes, there was no doubt that Raihan and Leon were still Master Class trainers that have conquered the World Coronation Championships, and were most definitely famous even here in Paldea as the famous Dragon Gym Leader of Hammerlocke and the former Galar Champion. But missing were the leagues of women who would throw their weeks away to comb every inch of grass for signs of you on Raihan’s command. And gone were the nosy trainers who would be more than happy to turn over information on your location just for a word of praise from Leon, or the crowds of your self-declared fans who could recognize you turned inside out from a yard away.
They were as good as nobodies here, and so were you.
And now all the wheels began to turn. The modified morse paddle key that served as your clicker went into overdrive as you tried to get your thoughts out to Cinderace as fast as your fingers could go.
You could get away. There was still a way out for you.
Raihan seemed to have caught on to the sudden hope that surged in your veins, the toothy grin on his face dropping as he narrowed his eyes. “Lapras, Hydro Pump,” he ordered.
Lapras resisted, letting out a defiant cry as it rebelled against his orders. Your countdown has started.
Two clicks, and your Cinderace leapt forward, foot extended to land a Double Kick.
You didn’t look to see if the attack landed, attempting to turn out all external sounds from your buzzing ears; the butterflies in your chest already made it hard enough to keep breathing. Instead, you cleared your throat, your mouth moving as you tried to force a word, a sound, anything from your vocal chords. “S-St-” You exhaled, shuddering, your efforts going unnoticed amidst the chaos of the moment.
The Dragon Gym Leader had withdrawn a small remote, a promise, not a threat. “Lapras, use Hydro Pump,” he ordered again.
It wasn’t enough. A full word. All you needed was a single full word. If not for yourself, then for the hell that your Pokemon had been through - there was no other choice. You had to do it.
Nemona’s eyebrows were furrowed as she watched the battle go down, the other three trainers paying little attention to you as you carefully tiptoed over to retrieve your backpack off the ground, the clock in your head ticking down slowly but surely. Tick tock, the nagging voices in your head whispered to you. Tick tock.
There was little time to decide what the right move was, whether you did the right thing; you simply rationalized that you should pick whoever you wouldn’t mind being stuck with again should you have to return to Galar. Raihan did treat you like royalty whenever he wasn't angry at some unspoken rule that you unknowingly broke, and would only increase should you pick him, with the downside being the numerous eyes and constant spotlight that followed the popular trainer around. While no doubt that Leon’s treatment of you would improve greatly if you picked him, the man had always been very demanding, holding you to an impossible standard.
Reaching into your backpack right for your Pokemon as Cinderace dodged the jet of water aimed at him, everything that happened next took but a blink of an eye.
All you could muster the strength to mutter was a single word, yet it was enough. A broken whisper of a single syllabus, mumbled by a hoarse voice that didn’t seem to see much use. “Raihan-”
Both men instantly startled, amber and aqua eyes snapping straight to yours as their jaws dropped. But it was all the distraction you needed.
Click. Your Vileplume manifested, instantly using Stun Spore, with both Vileplume Cinderace being recalled to their respective balls before the yellow dust even touched the ground.
You grabbed Nemona’s arm, yanking her backwards with surprising strength as you clutched your backpack tight to your chest. Another shrill song as Gardevoir manifested, the Psychic pokemon lightly touching its green sleeve-like arms to you, using Teleport.
And in under a minute, your little group was gone, vanishing without a trace from Cortondo.
“She-she said my name,” Raihan mumbled again and again, sounding very much star-struck. “My name. M-”
“Shut the fuck up,” Leon snapped back, annoyed.
Being left sprawled on the ground waiting for the effects of the paralysis to fade didn’t help much with the former Galar Champion’s mood, even less so when you had been just an arm’s length away. One grab away from going back to how life had been with you. And now, Leon had to live with the fact that after years and years of patience, waiting eagerly for a chance to hear your elusive voice. Soft and gentle, like the trickle of a river, your voice had been everything he ever imagined and more - and it was his rival’s name that left your lips first.
It must be her, the purple-haired man fumed, a soft glow of red as an equally paralyzed Lapras was recalled to its ball by a giddy, giggling Raihan. That stupid Champion-ranked girl with the green highlighted hair. All his time and effort, taming and training you into his love - and she had broken his perfect you the moment his back was turned. All his work for nothing, gone like sand art at high tide.
Letting out a groan as Leon finally felt control of his body return, he could only slam the back of his head into the dust once in frustration before standing.
Raihan had won this fight, but Leon sure as hell was going to make sure he wins the war.

Champion Night Terrors
Another attempt at Truerivalshipping (leonxRaihan/Leohan). This time a little angstier.
CW for light violence/abuse. Link to it on AO3 at the end.
Tumblr media
“I thought we were making progress. He was eating, and he was starting to smile again. He’s been sleeping through the night and finally remembering that he is safe.”
Raihan pinched the bridge of his nose, eyes tightly closed. His free hand tightly clenched the mug in his hand, shaking. Across from him sat Leon’s mother. Worn eyes watch Raihan, listening to him with patience and attentiveness.
His visit, though unexpected, was welcomed. And his concerns heartfelt. And given who his concerns were for, she couldn’t be more appreciative.
“It’s not your fault.” She assured as her hand lightly held his.
“I know,” Raihan released the bridge of his nose, letting his hand rest, “but last night he woke up again screaming and crying.” He shook his head. “Something’s going on in that fuzzy head of his and he refused to tell me.”
“He doesn’t want to worry.” Leon’s mom stated, knowing that all too well.
He shrugged. “Unfortunately, it’s too late for that, mama champ. I’m worried sick.”
There was a pause. One long enough for the sound of the door opening and closing to sound off. Picking the mug up with both hands, Raihan took a sip of coffee.
“Ma, I’m home!” Hop’s voiced greeted as footsteps honed in on the kitchen. “Is everything alright? Why is…” Realizing Raihan was in the kitchen with his mom, Hop’s demeanor shifted. “Oh! Hey Raihan.”
“Hey, Hop.” Raihan greeted. “It’s good to see you.”
Hop smiled then looked to his mom. “Is Lee okay?” He inquired. “He always said he hated sleeping on the couch because it was too firm.”
His mom smiled, comfortingly. “He’s alright. You know you’re brother. Runs himself ragged when left unchecked. Leon’s just a little under the weather and Raihan wanted some tips.”
“Oh… okay.” He looked to Raihan as he headed for the stairs. “He likes lavender tea. He likes the smell of it and it always makes him happy.”
Raihan smirked, appreciating the suggestion. “I’ll keep that in mind.” He watched as Hop went up the stairs, only turning to face the boy’s mother when he heard the door close. “Is it okay to lie to him like that?”
“He worries about Leon enough as is.” She noted. “And I think I speak for all of us when I say Leon wouldn’t want Hop to worry about this.”
“You’re not wrong. It just doesn’t feel right.”
“I appreciate the concern, but if Hop does find out, that should be up to Leon.” Raihan gave her a resigned and understanding nod. “Now, you said you might have a theory.”
“Right.” He readjusted his position. “So… it seems like this started up after Rose tried to trigger the Darkest Day. Between that and his loss, I thought that maybe he was just having a hard time processing the emotional stress. However, last nights night terror sparked after watching the court case and former chairman Rose yelling at the judge. Leon flinched when he did. So I suspect there’s something more sinister to Rose than I previously thought.” He paused, leaning forward. “He was sponsored by Rose, yeah? Do you know if he ever got… aggressive with Leon?”
Eyes curiously moved around as Leon’s mother thought for a moment. She tried to recall whatever she could about the sponsorship and Leon’s journey to becoming a Campion. She folded her arms as one hand rested beneath her chin.
“If he was I never saw it.” She admitted. “Nor did Leon ever say anything about it. During Rose’s sponsorship him, Leon always appeared happy. He still carries that demeanor to this day. And Rose always seemed kind to Leon until recently.” She nodded at the memory. “He treated Leon like his own son. Praised him for his hard work, stating how Leon was just the champion Galar needed.” Her head tilted. “If he did do anything, I could never read the signs, which I’d deeply regret never realizing. Rose never gave me a reason to suspect…”
A frightened whimper echoed from the other room, silencing her statement. The dragon specialist felt a chill go down his spine as another, slightly louder, whimper emerge. Raihan jumped from his chair running to the living room. Leon’s mom wasn’t too far behind, stopping at the doorway, watching in panic as Raihan helped her son.
Leon’s body was tightly curled, despite it’s anxious shaking. His eyes were tightly shut, tears forming. Approaching the couch, Raihan shuffled around. He sat Leon up as he sat on the couch and pulled the champion on his lap. Arms wrapped around Leon as Raihan’s hand rested on the back of Leon’s head, gently stroking purple hair.
“Leon, it’s okay.” Raihan whispered. “You’re safe.”
Shaking his head unconsciously, Leon hissed. Low mumbling escaped Leon. Scrambled jumbling of what sounded like words. Leon unconsciously thrashed in Raihan’s grip, letting out a fearful cry.
Raihan said nothing, holding Leon tight. He didn’t care if he got hurt, knowing that if he let go of Leon, the man would unintentionally hurt himself. A scream escaped Leon then a gasp as he regained consciousness.
Wide amber eyes scanned the room, confused and anxious. His mind slowly started to collect itself as Leon realized he was home. And as he focused on his mother, his eyes started to water as he realized he had frightened her.
“I’m sorry.” Leon apologized, covering his eyes.
Leon’s mother let out a soft sigh, lightly smiling. “It’s okay, honey.” She sat down on the couch. “Everything’s going to be okay.”
“But I’m the… champion. I can’t be afraid. And I’m certainly not supposed to cry.”
Leon felt his body being constricted as Raihan tightened his embrace. “Leon, if you think we care about that, you’re wrong. Champion or not, you’re human like the rest of is. You’re allowed to show emotion.”
“But-“
The sound of a door swinging open alarmed the trio. Leon’s head bobbed trying to locate the sound. His mother was the first to realize it came from upstairs.
“Mom?!” Hop shouted as he started moving.
Horrified that Hop possibly witnessed any of this, Leon frantically looked between Raihan and his mother. She and Raihan exchanged glances. She got up, heading for the stairs.
“Everything’s alright, Hop!” She replied as she walked up the stairs.
There was a moment of agonizing silence until they no longer heard Hop or the duo’s mother. Shoulder’s deflated as Leon leaned into Raihan. The smell of bonfires, soothing him slightly.
“I’m sorry, Raihan.” Leon apologized.
“You don’t need to apologize.” Raihan stated, brushing bangs off of Leon’s face. “I just… I’m just… Leon, I’m worried about you. I want to help you, but I feel like you're shutting me out.”
Sitting up, Leon looked up at Raihan, guilty and scared. “I didn’t mean to make you feel that way. I just don’t want to worry you by burdening you with my stupid trauma.”
A hand clasped the side of Leon’s face. “I AM worried! You’re not a burden. And your trauma is not stupid.” Raihan gently kissed Leon’s forehead. “Please… let me help you.”
Taking a deep breath, Leon shuffled off of Raihan’s lap. Sitting on his knees, Leon sat on the ground in front of his boyfriend. Amber eyes refused to acknowledge Raihan. Not even when Raihan joined him on the floor. Fists clenched on Leon’s lap, as he tried to find the right words.
Raihan watched him in silence, not planning to force a response out of Leon.
“I thought he was a good man.” Leon stated. “He saw potential in me and thought I would go far.”
Leon stumbled back, a fresh bruise forming on his cheek. His Charmeleon ran over to him, concerned. Leon tried not to react, but his shock and pain were undeniable. He winced, looking at Chairman Rose for answers.
“You got cocky.” Rose lectured.
”I won, didn’t I?”
“Only after you nearly caused your Axew to faint against a Hatterene. You know Fairy types beat it.” He approached Leon with disappointment and annoyance. “Then you got in a fight with that trainer all because you let his insults get to you.”
”He called me a shit trainer and a waste of space.”
Rose’s voice raised. “I don’t care! He could have said you smelled like a Skuntank for all I care. Champions do not let crash words get to them. I’m very disappointed in you.”
Leon gasped, faltering. His shoulders slumped and he took a few steps back. Holding back the urge to scream, he bit his tongue. Rose’s demeanor shifted, softening with a smile. Approaching Leon, he pat his head.
“I’m sorry, Leon.” He apologized. “You have to realize that the world is watching and I’d hate to see you’re reputation sour. Especially this soon. So takes this as a lesson in how to be humble.”
Hands clenched Leon’s pant legs. “I was only sixteen and he hit me like I was a grown man. It was the first time he hit me, but not the last.”
Raihan leaned towards Leon, hands holding Leon’s. Amber eyes gazed at Raihan, holding back tears.
“There’s more.” Leon admitted as one of Raihan’s hands held his arm.
“You don’t have to-“
“Please… I need to tell you. I need to let this go.”
Bruised hands slammed on a locked closet door. How long had he been in there? Minutes? Hours? Days?
“Let me out!” Leon shouted.
He was terrified. Tears streaking down his face. Leon lost a battle. The first in since he started his journey.
“You need to learn that your actions have consequences.” Rose stated from the other side. “I hate punishing you, Leon, but after today, I might have been wrong in sponsoring you.”
Footsteps shuffled, leaving Leon alone on the dark. The sounds of screams echoing behind him.
“He left me in there for so long, multiple times.” Leon recalled, holding back tears. “He wanted me to learn to ‘overcome the solitude’ I would face as a Champion. But I was afraid. So very afraid.”
Thumbs lightly rubbed tears away as Raihan’s hands cupped Leon’s face. “You don’t have to tell me anymore.” Raihan whispered, heart aching for Leon.
Hands grabbed Raihan’s wrists. “One last confession.” Leon pleased. “For me. Please. I can’t hold onto it anymore.”
He did it. He finally did it. Leon was now the Champion. Yet, everything was not as it seemed. Something off.
Leon had lost weight. Though he had muscle, he was leaner than he should be. His attire was neat and and his stance was confident. Yet, his smile, warm and welcoming, hid exhaustion and pain.
Retiring to his hotel room, Leon cleaned up. Washing his face, a bruise and scratch on his cheek emerged from their concealer shield. Dark circles rimmed his eyes as he sighed.
“You did wonderful out there.” Rose applauded, entering his room with a spare key. “The crowd loves you.”
“Mhm.”
Leon continued on. He wasn’t meaning to come off as standoffish. He was just tired from the celebratory ceremony.
SMACK
Leon yelped, stepping back as the scratch on his face started bleeding. Amber eyes flashed, dilated as they watched Rose. Hands grabbed him, shaking him violently.
“Don’t you dare ignore me, young man.” Rose lectured. “I made you. You are nothing without me.”
“I’m sorry.” Leon apologized, his voice weak and tears forming. His cheek stung as he was hit again then went numb.
“And don’t you dare cry. Champions don’t cry. Smile!” Fearful, Leon listened. “Good. Now, freshen up. The dinner starts in thirty minutes.”
He pushed Leon back, throwing him against the wall. A light thud could be heard as Leon’s head lightly bounced off it. Leon leaned forward, face hidden beneath hair as his gaze fell to the ground. Rose left him there, opening the door. He looked back at Leon with disgust.
“What do you have to say, young man?” All Rose heard was a mumble. “Speak up!”
“Thank you.” Leon softly replied.
“You’re welcome. Now wear that red suit and you better happy when I come back.”
Rose slammed the door behind him and left. Leon, now alone, slid down and sat on the floor. Curling up, he hugged his legs, silently crying.
“I couldn’t say anything.” Leon admitted though tears. “He was right. Without his sponsorship, I wouldn't be where I am today.” A choked gasp escaped him. “I may have pretended to be happy for my safety at times, but I was genuinely happy about becoming the Champion.” Shaking his head, Leon looked away. “He’s been there for me since the beginning and I admired him. I couldn’t just forget years of kindness because he hurt me.”
Leon was now sobbing. Choked cries scratched his throat and heavy tears flooded his sight. His body shook like a branch in the wind. Fear bleed from Leon, finally releasing buried violent memories.
Arms wrapped around Leon, pulling him close. Blue eyes closed as Raihan held Leon tight. He said nothing, knowing nothing he could say would help. Leon buried his face in Raihan’s jacket, wrapping his arms around Raihan.
His mind wandered processing what he had just learned. All of the abuse Leon endured under the guise of a smile. How bad it must have gotten. An image of Rose drawing blood because he was annoyed… strict… downright abusive. It made Raihan’s blood boil.
But Raihan couldn’t worry about that now. Now with Leon in this state. Resting on Leon’s head, Raihan took in the scent of vanilla and lavender. He gently rocked back and forth in an attempt to soothe Leon. His frame lightly vibrated as Raihan began humming.
Once Leon calmed down, Raihan loosened his grip. Instead of backing up, Leon stayed put, latching onto Raihan like a Mankey to a tree. He melted as Raihan ran his hand through Leon’s hair.
“Do you want to press charges?” Raihan inquired.
Leon shook his head. “He’s already been arrested. Even if it wasn’t for what he did for me, he’s already being punished. And I still believe that there’s a good man in there somewhere.”
Though he did not agree, Raihan nodded, respecting Leon’s choice. “What about therapy? For you I mean.”
Leon rested his head on Raihan’s shoulder. “Mhm. Not today, but I’d like to soon. Could you help me?”
“Of course. I might have a recommendation or two that’ll suit you.”
Leon nodded, closing his eyes. He hummed a little, comfortable and relieved. Exhausted too.
Thinking back to how he felt, now with a clearer head, Raihan sighed. ”He’s never going to hurt you again.” He promised. “If he even thinks about getting near you, I’ll kill him.”
Leon smiled. “Thank you, my little Axew, but that won’t be necessary.”
“We’ll see about that.”
Leon shifted slightly, kissing Raihan’s cheek. “Right now, I think we could use a vacation. You think we can go to Sinnoh? I hear they have this fancy restaurant where people like to double battle and I think you’ll like Cynthia. She has a Garchomp and knows all the best ice cream shops.”
Raihan chuckled. “Sure. Why not?” He softly kissed Leon. “But first, you need to get some sleep and set up a therapy session.”
“Deal.”
~
When it had gotten too quiet too long, Hop and his mom went downstairs. They hoped Leon and Raihan hadn’t left. Or didn’t get into a fight.
Turning into the living room, Hop’s mother smiled, chuckling. Raihan and Leon were sprawled out on the ground, fast asleep. Leon’s head was resting on Raihan’s chest, purple hair wildly covering the ground. Raihan, meanwhile, had one hand wrapped around Leon’s waist and the other on Raihan’s stomach.
Hop, having ran back upstairs for a moment, entered the room with two blankets. His mither joined, taking a blanket and unfolding it. Once unfolded, they covered the sleeping duo. Neither awoke, unconsciously shifting slightly under the blankets.
Knowing they weren’t going anywhere, Hop and his mom let them be. Whatever happened, it would seem that Raihan had helped, and Leon on the mend. And for that, that deserved the rest.

could you make one by raihan x adoptive younger brother teen male Reader That he is a fire-type and rock-type trainer and that his partner Pokémon is a ponyta kanto Please …ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ
Raihan With An Adoptive Younger Brother
A/N: I'm surprised I'm actually getting requests lol. I'm writing this half sleep deprived because I just saw spiderverse and it's currently taking over my brain
Male teen reader, platonic
Tumblr media
Be prepared for many, many selfies. Like he doesn't go a half an hour without taking a picture for his fans
He thinks your ponyta is so cool considering they look different in the Galar region than Kanto
Unicorn or flame haired horse, take your pick on which one's cooler, but we definitely know which one Raihan is choosing
He constantly wants to battle, fun sibling battle after all
He records them and posts them on all of his socials because look how cool his little brother is
if you loose to him he'll joke about it but comfort you if you're genuinely upset
If he looses he'll be really pouty about it and then it's your turn to tease him
He'll make ambiguous sad posts on his story because he's that dramatic
Do you exercise? No? Too bad because now he's dragging you no his morning jogs
Need to exercise to be a good trainer according to him (don't look that up)
Can he ride ponyta? Pretty please? He's gonna do it anyway even if you say no, sorry
He'll learn the hard way that trying to ride a horse with fire for a main isn't the best idea
Sad posting to his story again because he burnt his hand
Because of his status as one of the highest ranked gym leaders, you grow pretty popular too
Now literally everyone wants to see and touch the fire horse
You'll also probably have to deal with fans and paparazzi trying to talk to you/get photos
If you're ok with it he'll be more lenient, but if it clearly makes you uncomfortable he'll shoo them away or take you somewhere else
His little brother needs to train so he can finally beat him in a Pokémon battle after all! (he's actually the one who lost and is pretending that it didn't happen)
The two of you probably have the joking-sibling fights all the time
Back and forth fake insults that leave the both of you dying of laughter
While he can drive you absolutely crazy sometimes, he's your brother and that's what brothers do
Tumblr media
Currently trying to work on more requests, just a little busy <3, ty for reading and have a nice day

leons assistant (raihan x leon
tw: smut, semi public sex
working as the chairman's secretary was surprisingly easy, maybe Chairman Rose was a more demanding boss or Oleana was just intimidating because of how professional she was. maybe both
I did some extra training to prepare for the promotion from receptionist to secretary, it was pointless since it was not as hard as I expected but I'm not going to complain that a high paying is easier.
chairman Leon hasn't been a champion for some time and settled into the position as chairman with relative ease. at the start, it did take some time for Leon to understand what he signed up for but he got into the flow, i didn't even need to hold his hand much to teach him how things around the office worked
ever since Leon took over Rose it has been a calmer environment, probably because Leon is more relaxed with other people in the office, maybe it's that he is too busy to care, or maybe he doesn't understand enough to know what to get mad at or maybe he just a nice relaxed person
it might be one or the other but he certainly is relaxed enough to just let gym leaders barge in.
usually, gym leaders would have to make appointments as well when Rose was around. but Leon just lets them barge into his office without a care. it's probably because he's friends with most of them. milo just walks by the security guard like he wasn't there whenever he comes in. Melanie bothers to ask but one time the security guard said no and she just walked by him anyway. Kabu bothered to make appointments but when Leon sees him sitting in the waiting area, he tells him he can come in anytime he wants. They're nice for the most part, even piers weren't too much of a hassle. the problem is that one of them takes up a lot of his time
on any week there are 5 gym leader visits per week, that doesn't mean they visit a lot it just means raihan specifically visits every other day.
That's it, the hardest part of the job. leon is easy to handle it's just that raihan distracts him a lot. One time I walked in on Leon's bench pressing raihan and later that day walked in on raihan bench pressing Leon.
I'm pretty sure they are childhood friends so I guess that's why they're so comfortable but letting raihan sit in on meetings seems a bit far. nobody has complained, including the people actually in the meetings but he shouldn't be in there, right?
he does even just come in to give a coffee or say hello, whenever he comes in. It usually lasts between 3 hours or the rest of the day.
I don't care about what they're talking about in there but he would prefer it if he would stop distracting him, leon is rarely behind on work but when it happens I'm the one that has to deal with it.
I check the clock and it's almost 3 pm, I look over my desk to see if the contracts has meant to sign are not on my desk. I know he likes to read them over himself to not miss anything but there were only three and I gave them to him yesterday.
I had a doctor's appointment in the morning so I wasn't here for the first quarter of the day. but if it's taking this long, I'm guessing raihan is in his office with him.
the deadline is the end of the workday so I think I can justify barging in. I got up and walked towards the doors leading to his office. I knocked but didn't hear a voice giving permission. to come in. I hesitated for a bit, but I still think I can justify barging without permission.
I open the door. "Chairman, I don't mean to barge in but we have a deadline for the wi-"I stop myself
Leon isn't in the office, the massive office is fully open space so unless he is hiding behind his desk the office is empty
well, except for raihan sitting behind his desk like he was the one this office belonged to. I walk towards the desk. I would have celebrated in my head for guessing raihan was here if I wasnt now confused
"raihan, sir, can you tell me where Leon is, there is a deadline he must meet by the end of the day"
"hmm,… sorry don't know," raihan said wheeling forward a bit and leaning back into the chair
thinking back to it, I haven't seen Leon all day, I just assumed he was in his office but I sent people into his office for meetings and they came out later without anything to say. he has to have been in here if they didn't complain about him being missing.
I get close enough to the desk to see the papers on it, for some reason it's messy. Leon's organization is clean and simple so I'm now only more confused.
as I stare at the desk I see a colorful seal on a scattered but still stacked pile of paper. I recognise it as the one for the corporation that sent those contracts. I lean over to see that they have been signed, usually, he calls me in to collect them once he's done.
I would try to just collect them but the desk is too big for me not to do it awkwardly, i would have to climb over the desk just to reach it
"Sir, may you pass me those documents with the yellow and pink seal on them please" I asked holding out my hand at the simple ask.
raihan looks at me then looks down, then gets a weird smirk out of nowhere. is he looking at the confused dumb look on my face?
"Sure," raihan says, he leans up but then suddenly juts his hips forward to propel his chair forward. his waist hits the edge of the desk and he stays there. he picks up the documents and hands me them. his arms are long enough that he could have given me them without moving his chair.
okay? Isn't he known for being suave and charming, i don't know why he's being weird.
"thank you sir" I take the documents and leave the room, I rush a little as the silence is getting awkward
=---------------------=-=-=-=-==========-
the door shut behind Leon's assistant leaving raihan and Leon alone. raihan stared at the door making sure they were alone.
he pushed his chair back and looked under the desk.
"you're getting good at deepthroating Leon, I think you deserve a reward for managing to stay silence," raihan said
the sight under the desk was glorious. half-lidded eyes blocked out by tears streaming down his face. his pretty mouth stretched taut to accommodate the veiny coke can thick cock halfway in his mouth, helped by the drool and precum lubricating it into Leon's mouth. his hair pulled into a ponytail to let raihan see his ruined pretty face.
his naked flesh looked good, raihan hated how the marks he worked on weren't that visible under the desk
raihan pulled out by pushing the Wheely chair backwards, making sure to do it as slowly as he could to see Leon sit still as each inch left Leon's mouth. the head went out with a pop and commenced Leon gasping for air.
raihan wrapped his hand around his and slowly jerked it, loving the way Leon's eyes focused on the meat in front of him.
Leon huffed for a few more seconds before saying
"i want your cock back in my ass," Leon took a moment to breathe again "You know what to do"

Hi, I'm the Raileon anon from a while back. Thank you for answering my ask! I loved reading your thoughts, and I hope you don't mind if I ask you for some more. You mentioned Leon and Raihan were both fascinating characters to you separately as well, and I wanted to ask why you felt Raihan was fascinating? I have my own reasons ofc, but I'd be delighted to hear yours as well.
I absolutely never mind, thank you for the ask!! (even if it takes me a while to answer things sldjfksjf). genuinely I love talking about these characters, all the SWSH characters (and SuMo) really, and talking about Raihan is top tier for me. under the cut because it's both long and I have included images from the manga as little Raihan treats :3
in regards to Raihan, what a character, yeah? when I got this ask I immediately went into chat with @beammeupbroadway and we had the following exchange (she's the Furby icon, I'm the first message):
Tumblr media
and to elaborate a little, we're all introduced to Raihan in the framing of him being Leon's rival, and we're not really reintroduced to him until midway through the game. so for a while we're left with this impression that Raihan is the hotheaded rival to Leon, setting them up with the same sort of framing as like Hop vs Bede (which is more a rivalry than with the player I argue) or even Red vs Blue (certainly with the Charizard and the color imagery at play with both Raihan and Leon's designs). Raihan is, at his core, a peek at what someone looks like when they grow up in the shadow of someone else.
it's stated in game he has different interests, hobbies, a career, but he's still Leon's rival Raihan. where his job as a Gym Leader and his work with the Hammerlocke Vault serve the narrative purpose of bringing the player closer to Leon and closer to solving the mystery of the Darkest Day, rather than things that allow us a better view of Raihan. not to discredit those moments, because they absolutely do allow us as to see more of Raihan, but I guess I want to argue that the game just uses them as a jumping off point to get to Leon. even Raihan's accomplishments as a Gym Leader and battler are framed within the context of him being so good he could be Champion of another region, but he can't beat Leon. from a world building and audience perspective I think it's interesting to see, but man, picturing that as how he's painted in Galar, in universe? where all of these insanely amazing accomplishments are pushed aside to market himself as Leon's rival I think genuinely ruined his self image, his self esteem, and the way he views anything he does. Raihan's social media presence got started because of Leon, even if he sometimes takes random pictures of sand storms, and the only thing removed from Leon is his love of fashion and history, but we don't even get to see a lot of that as the audience/player of the game because it's not relevant to the story in most cases, and definitely isn't relevant to Leon. this was definitely a little rambly, but at least right here I just think that like Raihan being literally overshadowed by Leon makes him fascinating to rotate around like a rotisserie chicken, because you take one whiff of that guy and you can tell he was spiced up with self loathing and angst strong enough to turn the average character into a straight up villain
ties to Leon aside, the little things about Raihan I adore ARE those little hobbies he has. fashion, history, social media all are super interesting, and ignoring the Gym Trainer battle with WEATHER EFFECTS INSIDE THE TAPESTRY VAULT aside it's clear he is a trusted expert on the matter. Sonia goes to him, even if it's a way to get the player closer to Leon Raihan is the one who grants access to the vault, and anyone who loves tapestries is immediately boosted in my books
his characterization in the manga is really cool, and I adore manga Raihan a lot. it's actually when I really fell in love with his character because he's given a lot of really neat moments, where he's kind of this key player in having everything come together. also he was a trouble maker when he was younger!!! which I think is a logical reaction to being pitted against the literal undefeated Champion for so long. but, allow me to picture that below:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also love him spraying himself in the face with a potion after being poisoned by Eternatus in the manga. like yeah he's confused, but literally no other character is brought up, only Raihan which is funny to me
Tumblr media
also him and Piers are just buddies!! which is neat, especially since in the post game of the base SWSH titles they're shown not to really have interacted that much
Tumblr media
he's also super polite to Melony (my beloved Mummy Melony scene), and he's overall pretty fleshed out, with being both serious and goofy, while having this odd tension with Leon when it comes to serious moments
Tumblr media
like it shows a lot of complicated things brewing under the surface for him, even in the manga, and I love how it keeps his characterization in tact, while expanding on it in a way that feels natural
I think in short, there's an argument to be made that Raihan could have been left as this one dimensional rival to Leon whose only purpose to push the player along their journey. a road block as a Gym Leader, a helper as the keeper of the vault, but nothing more. and yet he's a pretty fleshed out character, who has other stuff going for him. he could be so many things, and yet he's Raihan, the dragon guy who loves fashion, is a bit silly, but also takes things as serious as they need to be taken. who had a bit of a rebellious streak when he was younger, to the point Rose knows about it in depth. where, in game, he can flip from smiling like :3 to hunching over in the stadium yelling out moves. he's cool, like undeniably, but also not, and I love that skdjfklsfd. I think Raihan is a testament to the subtle ways the Pokemon writers can dish out characterization without explicitly writing things in, and I love him for it

“Then, why don't you claim your own skies?”
The words ring in his head that morning of the ceremony. Thinking on this was unusual, really— the Drayster never mulled over things for long. In the days leading up however, Drayton couldn't help being reminded of the words said to him by that guy many months ago.
— —
Cyrano introduced him as a gym leader of the Galar region, visiting Blueberry Academy to train for a while in the Terarium.
“Yo, name's Raihan. Heard you're a dragon trainer too— care for a battle?”
A fellow dragon specialist, and Duraludon trainer too. They clicked instantly; having so much in common and being so similar in personality, it made League Club members do a double take. It wasn't before long that Drayton spent most of his class-skipping days hanging with Raihan in the Terarium during those few weeks.
They battled, they trained, and sometimes they just chatted over grub. Most of the time it was light-hearted: trading tips on dragon training, or stories of the strong trainers they've encountered. Other times, Raihan ranted off about the online beef he had with that Iono chick
(“The streamer girl? Yeah, we've met; she was invited here from Paldea last year. Girl's a whacky cuckoolander.” “Ugh, got that straight.”)
or jived Drayton about his League Club juniors.
(“Your girl Lacey is real cute.” “Yeah, that's her thing. Don't you think about trying anything though; her old man's Clay.” “The cowboy man? Damn.”)
It was only when the topic of rivals drifted along the daily conversation mill that vibes turned dour. A topic that Drayton avoided taking too seriously. There were feelings that never left him, never spoken aloud at Blueberry Academy. He wanted to keep it away, leave it on the shores of Unova miles from his small ocean sanctuary.
But Raihan never disparaged it. To Drayton's surprise, the other dragon tamer even had his own struggles to share, despite already reaching the status of 8th gym leader. He candidly described the child prodigy in his home region— the undefeated champion ever so popular and praised in the public eye.
It was a story Drayton knew all too well; he could recognize it in the undertone of Raihan's voice as he hit note for note the same emotions Drayton had felt too. So for the very first time since stepping foot upon Blueberry Academy, Drayton shared his own story— of his family, of the Opelucid Gym, of the Unova Champion.
Leon. Drayden. Iris.
These were the names that, although both Raihan and Drayton had much respect for them as pokemon trainers, never really made their smiles reach their eyes. The brighter big lights shine, the larger the shadows are cast behind them they say. Drayton's never found peace in that darkness, but it did make him feel better finding a kindred spirit in Raihan.
That is, until Raihan dropped the most mind-blowing take the Drayster's ever heard.
“It’s the same for you innit?— with Iris, I mean. There's always that someone you can't reach up to no matter how much you give your all— the ultimate rival. 'cept don't you think it could be that way 'cause you're playing the game with different rules?”
“Huh?”
“Leon was the strongest because his Pokemon are strong. Even if he's in a tight spot, he'd always manage to eek out a win because of that insane raw power of his pokemon. Battle instincts just come naturally to him y'know? But if you ask the man about how he uses his pokemon's abilities or setting up his next move? My mate gets lost quicker than Sonia can put a tracker on him, haha!”
“The Pokemon League's standard for single battles is great and all, but doubles is a whole different ball game. Singles is all about strength and endurance; double battles actually uses tactics. Just because a trainer is good at raising Pokemon to be strong doesn't always mean they'll be good at strategy. Honestly, it’s amazing how Leon stayed at the top for a decade 'til the new champ beat him.”
No matter how good Drayton was as Blueberry League Champion, at a school specialized in double battles, beating Iris was always a separate issue. The battle skills he was taught as a child, from his training by his grandfather at Opelucid Gym was all he had ever known when battling her. But truth be told, it never even occurred to him to level the playing field. It never occurred to him to think that he could.
“That's why I choose doubles in my gym. There are different ways to be strong as a trainer, it's just a matter of finding your own. 'sides, this school already specializes in double battles, why not put that to your advantage?”
Challenging Iris in a double battle… might just be the craziest idea Drayton has ever considered.
“The skies are big enough for all of us to fly— you just have to claim your territory, mate.”
— —
“Drayton, there you are!” Lacey's voice snaps him out of his reverie.
They've just finished the graduation ceremony. Long and arduous, the graduating students all decked out in Blueberry's cap and gown stood in the Terarium's Central Plaza waiting to be called up one by one to recieve a fancy sealed up paper. After the final speeches were said, cheers shouted and caps tossed, it was finally time for students to freely mill about in the celebratory energy.
“Yo. Congratulations, Miss Valedictorian.”
“Oh please, not you too. Crispin and the other League Club members have already said enough.” She pauses, lightly laughs as she approaches him. “And besides, I came here to congratulate you! Congratulations on graduating, Drayton.”
“Thanks, been a long time coming.”
“Yes… To be honest, I'm kinda surprised you made it this year…”
“Heh heh, aren't we all?” He took no offense to that, really. “Guess I just got my muse back this time 'round.”
Indeed, Drayton's change of pace didn't go unnoticed by the rest of the BB Elite Four. Perhaps it was the influence of the whole Kieran drama last year… or after that had cleared up, the subsequent sister school exchange event where the top BB League Club members got invited to Paldea to participate in a team competition. Lacey certainly noticed Drayton went back to skipping class when the Galarian gym leader was here, but at least he was motivated somewhat regularly after.
“I see… well I'm glad to hear that, Drayton. What are you planning to do after graduation?”
“Who knows… but I might have something in mind…”
“Something?”
“Don't worry about it.” He waves it off and ushers her ahead. “C'mon, lets take some photos with the club. It'll be our last ones here afterall.”
.
.
.
“By the way Drayster— if you ever find yourself in Galar, feel free to drop by Hammerlocke Stadium any time. We'll be happy to have ya.”

The Tickle Tax
Author’s note: Aww!!! That’s super sweet to hear, Rainbow anon! Thank you for the compliment! 💗 I hope you enjoy Day 7 of Tickletober: Playtime! (From Miya and Mia’s Tickletober list!)
Tumblr media
Series: Pokemon Sword and Shield
Characters: Hop, Leon, and Raihan
Word count: 987
Summary: Hop, Leon, and Raihan are all playing a board game until a new game ensues after an unwritten rule is created.
Sitting on Hop’s bedroom floor, Leon rubs his hands together as two square dice twist in between his palms.
“Come on…” Leon shakes his cupped hands. The dice click as they jumble together. “Give me a lucky seven!”
Leon tosses the dice underhand and they roll onto the game board. One die shows a six and the other…a two. “Oof, eight spaces.”
Despite not getting the roll he wanted, Leon moves his miniature charizard game piece eight spaces from where it was standing. Eight spaces later, the charizard is placed on a spot with a blue building. “Landed on the pokemart space,” Leon announces.
“Yes!” Hop cheers and tosses his hands in the air, “That’s my property space.” Hop holds out his palm and curls his fingers towards him like a lever, “Pay up, Lee.”
“What?” the other brother chuckles and leans his elbows on his criss-crossed legs. “I’ve landed on your property spaces five times in a row now. Are you sure you’re not rigging the game?” Leon gives Hop a poke.
Hop giggles and shoos him away. “Hehe! I’m not! I swear!”
“I don’t know, Hop,” Raihan interjects with a smile, “Five times in a row is a bit much to consider coincidence, no?”
“Yeah, what kind of game are you trying to pull here?” Leon teases.
“None!” Hop insists and holds his hands up to prove his point, “I’m playing fair and square! Honest!”
“Alright then,” Leon sits up straight, “I’ll pay the tax.” He peers at Hop from the corner of his eye with a sneaky peak. “But I’ll pay a different tax with a different currency.”
“A different tax?” Hop tilts his head to the side. He wasn’t aware this board game has multiple currencies or taxes to choose from.
“Yep,” Leon pauses to turn his way so his sneaky gaze is in full view. “A tickle tax!” Leon says and darts his hands towards Hop to tickle his little brother. The young trainer erupts into giggles and snatches at the champion’s wrists.
“Hehehey! Leehehehehehe!” Hop squeaks with bubbly laughter. He leans back and topples to the carpet, flailing his limbs while he wriggles in an attempt to escape the silly roughhousing of his brother's plan that has interrupted the playtime of their board game.
“Hold still, Hop! I’ve got to pay the tickle tax in full! Don’t want to be in debt.” Leon looks over his shoulder to his friend, “Raihan, a hand here?”
“You’ve got it,” Raihan gives a toothy smile and rushes behind Hop. The dragon type gym leader easily grabs the boy from under his flailing arms to tickle him there, while Leon has free range his torso. Hop squeezes his arms to his sides and squeals with laughter.
“Wahahait! Wahahait! Wahahait!” Hop puts his palms in front of him to signal for a chance to speak. Leon and Raihan stop wiggling their fingers, yet still keep them in place to hover over Hop.
“Yes, Hop?” Leon asks with a smile.
Hop takes a moment to control his giggles so he can talk clearly. “Wouldn’t the tickle tax have to be paid by the one that landed on the spot?” Hop looks up at his brother.
Leon’s eyes expand in surprise. Raihan glances at Leon. Leon glances at Raihan and then back to Hop.
“W-Well, that's,” Leon stutters. His words become ones of panic. “That’s a very good point that I did not think about—” he leans back a little as Raihan stares him down with a smirk.
“Looks like you’re still in debt, Leon,” the dragon type trainer grins. He gently releases Hop and slowly starts approaching Leon, making the champion scoot back.
“N-No! Raihan!” Leon giggles and puts out a defensive hand, but his efforts are in vain as Raihan dives at Leon, tackling him to the floor, and starts clawing into the champion’s ribs. Instantaneously, Leon yelps and breaks into laughter as he gets a taste of his own medicine. He shoves and tries to wrestle Raihan’s hands away in a desperate attempt to flee, but Raihan clearly has the leverage against the champion.
“Raihahahahahan!” Leon throws his head back with laughter, his purple hair becoming flattened underneath him like a backdrop. “Thihihis isn’t fahahair!”
“Hey, don’t get mad with me,” Raihan says, “I’m just the banker trying to collect debt. Right, Hop?” He looks towards the younger trainer.
Hop sits back on his arms as he watches the delivery of his brother’s payback. He has a bright smile and nods, “Right, Raihan!”
“Unless, of course, you want to pay the original fine in its intended way?” the dragon trainer mentions to the giggling champion. He adds on to the ‘persuasion’ by scratching a clawed hand at Leon’s tummy, causing his friend to kick out his legs with a jolt.
“Okahahahay!” Leon playfully yells through his laughter. “Fihihihine! I’ll pahahahay it! Nohohow get off mehehehe!” the champion surrenders.
As requested, Raihan halts his debt collecting strategy, then moves back to his original spot around the gameboard. Leon sits himself up, his body nearly limp with exhaustion. Once he takes a moment to regain his bearings, Leon checks his pile of multicolored board game money and hands Hop a beige pokedollar bill with a value of one hundred.
Hop happily takes the false money, “Thank you. A pleasure doing business with you.” He places the bill in his own stack.
Leon chuckles. “Alright, who’s turn is it now?”
“Mine,” Raihan says. He looks up as his two competitors. “And don’t you even think about using the tickle tax on me. I’ll just get you back,” Raihan ends his sentence with a fanged grin to show that there's truth to his statement.
Leon and Hop laugh in understanding. They then return to where they left off in their board game, giggling and making lighthearted banter with each other as they play on the floor of Hop’s bedroom.

Heya just found your account and I love it, could I have Leon and Raihan with #3 from the spicy dialogue list?
Got me ready to make a poly story about these two.
Send me prompts from THIS list!
Leon smirked as he came in, seeing Raihan bending her over the bench in the hotel room. "I thought we agreed to share," he teaased, making Y/N whine.
"Shit, she fucking tightened," Raihan laughed, pulling her up tight against his body. "Excited for Leon to join us?"
"Y-Yes," Y/N panted as Raihan adjusted. Leon smirked as he approached, kissing her gently as she helped him out of his shorts. "Win your match?"
"You know it. Maybe you should use your mouth, show me the praise i deserve," he cooed, making her whimper as they adjusted.

The pokeballs hidden deep within the depths of your bag wriggled impatiently, and you giggled at the sensation against your back. You couldn’t blame them for wanting to escape from the confines of their balls, not with the hum of life that filled the air of the small town of Cortondo. But this was neither the right time or space. It had been some time since you dared to let them out for a breath of fresh air and to stretch their limbs after all, and you silently promised both them and yourself that you would the moment the opportunity arises.
The evening was a welcomed relief from the scorching heat of the afternoon that had left you drenched in sweat - the air was crisp and fresh, just dry enough to lift the sweat from your panting skin but not enough to suck all moisture away. A far cry from the humid day under the blistering sun; much unlike what your usual day would be like spent wandering and exploring new grounds, you instead had been forced to duck into the air-conditioned shops for a break. Strolling down cobbled pathways, the little colored flags that stretched from rooftop to rooftop waved invitingly at visitors from all corners of Paldea, the calls of shopkeepers adding to the general hustle and bustle as the town came alive once more, the sun sinking ever lower towards the horizon.
Your heart wrenched, the pain in your chest sharp. Despite your urge to shrink away from the masses of people, all the eyes you could feel watching you, there was no denying that you missed this. You missed being free. Just being able to walk through town without a care in the world, without anyone hovering over you, one arm slung tightly around your shoulders. Not having to constantly worry about your Pokemon friends getting hurt because of something stupid that was your fault. You never thought you would have ever been able to get a second chance at freedom, to start all over again from scratch; that brazen escape you had risked your life and limbs on seemed to have paid off, though you had to turn your thoughts to the present to stop the tears from welling at the thought of everything and everyone you left behind.
Amidst the crowds of students all dressed in the same Uva Academy uniform as you, out and about and eager to discover when their own ‘Treasure Hunt’ leads them to, you felt secure. You felt like you blended in for once. Maybe it had been worth it, changing both your hairstyle and color, making sure to dress down and look down. Maybe you could be safe here.
“Hey!” A call of your name cut through the commotion of the crowd like a knife through butter. You jolted as one hand came flying down to smack you on your shoulder. Whirling round, you came face to face with those excited orange eyes framed by three signature green strands of hair.  “I thought you’d never come!” The president of the student council was as enthusiastic and energetic as ever, not seeming to have noticed your startle, instead beginning to shake you by both shoulders as she all but shouted her questions at you. “Which gym have you defeated? How strong are your Pokemon? Do you want to battle?”
You opened your mouth, but as usual, no words seemed to come out. Perhaps it was the crowd, everyone else around the two of you that is. You had managed a few words to the friendly Nemona previously, back when you parted ways at Mesagoza; a rare and unusual occurrence, given how your throat usually opts to clam up in front of anyone but your parents, but it just goes to show you have come to trust the loudmouth girl. Your social anxiety didn’t quite show around her like it did everyone else.
Lifting both hands in a surrender and placating manner, it was beyond you how you manage to calm the other down, before reaching into your pocket to shyly show your friend the two badges that you had obtained so far in all the days you had been wandering. It wasn’t much you knew, and it wasn’t much on purpose. After all that had happened to you back in Galar, you were afraid to go down the League route again, let alone touch anything that had the word ‘Champion’ in it with a fifty-foot pole.
To your surprise, Nemona was elated. “WOW! You already got two? I knew you had potential!”
You blinked, confused. Wouldn’t she have expected more badges? Was she just hiding her disappointment? The Champion-ranked trainer didn’t give you even a minute to breathe though, hooking one arm through yours and starting to drag you towards the nearest restaurant. “I want to hear ALL about it, you understand?” There was no time to finish your thoughts as you had to scuttle to keep up with her incredibly quick walking pace, and the two of you disappeared from the streets and into the depths of some place you couldn’t catch the name of.
Outside, a different story was unfurling, a pair of teal eyes was fixed firmly on the doorway that you had just disappeared through from beneath the shade of a hoodie, a frown pulling at his usually upturned lips. From across the street and with most of his deceptively lean self hidden behind a wall, there was no doubt in his mind that it was you. A restaurant was no place to cause a commotion, Raihan knew; who knows what you could resort to if cornered? You had escaped once, what was going to stop you from running again? He had waited and waited for this moment despite not being a patient man, but perhaps it wasn’t a bad idea to let you enjoy your last hour of freedom. There would be the rest of eternity with you after all, and he didn’t intend on letting you run wild again.
One tanned hand reaching up to pull his hoodie further down his face, Raihan leaned back against the wall, bringing his cold drink up to his lips. Soon.
Time seemed to slow to a crawl, with each second feeling more like years passing by. The crowds of students of varying ages, all clad similarly in that signature purple uniform, drifted past where he stood like a gentle wave, the town slowly clearing of people as the minutes ticked by. The sun that had once ruled the sky had now fully set, sinking past the distant mountain horizon with a grand burst of colors; the evening rays had been the herald for the star full of skies that now twinkled above. Yet the Galar Dragon gym leader kept waiting. Even if his eyes drifted away from the building, to gaze at the empty distance and wonder of the different Pokemon that wandered this region, or to scan the throngs of people for threats, there was no activity in or out of the restaurant that he missed. All the while, all Raihan could do was recall the night you had disappeared again and again in his head as he glared down at anyone who dared venture too near: the sheer horror of finding you missing from your room in the morning, your confiscated Pokeballs gone from their secured box. The feeling of his gut dropping straight out the bottom when he couldn’t find you after tearing the entire estate apart, his own Pokemon returning empty-handed after he had sent them out to track you down in a sheer moment of desperation.
Never again would he let himself feel that way. Never.
You finally reappeared through the doorway long after his patience had worn out, but instead of the usual annoyance turned anger, the tanned man felt his breath hitch. You looked so very different yet at the same time, so very familiar. What a sight for sore eyes. The way you stood beside your new friend, huddled as close as you dared go, those doe eyes of yours fixed on a random spot on the ground. Small smile pulling at your lips as you fidgeted with the hem of the shirt of your school uniform, listening carefully to everything your energetic companion was spewing at you.
There was nothing you could change about yourself that would be able to hide you away from him: not changing your hairstyle, your hair color, the type of clothes you wear or even the color of your eyes.
But all his joy at seeing you once more was instantly wiped away when he had to witness you lifting your eyes to meet the other’s. And the anger that raged in his chest igniting once more at the sight of your lips moving - almost as if you were speaking. Sure there was no one else but the two of you lingering on the porch of the now-dark restaurant, but you never spoke to anyone but Hop. Not to him, not even to your Pokemon in the presence of another. Selectively mute, was what your all-too innocent mother had happily informed the gym leader when he had paid her a visit to collect some clothes from your house. Even Raihan himself never had the privilege of hearing your sweet voice in person.
So who was this bastard?
Watching as you stepped off the curb and back onto cobblestoned streets, there was no time like the present - with the dwindling masses and the shops closed or closing. Raihan pushed off the wall, both hands sliding into the front pockets of his jacket, each stride bringing closer and closer to your little duo. You never even noticed.
The unease you had in your gut had been growing for a while. You couldn’t quite pinpoint what caused that feeling, but it certainly was shared by your Pokemon, their balls having wriggled restlessly all evening where you had hidden them in the depth of your bag. But being out with Nemona gave you a sense of security, and despite your better your judgment, you had pushed the nagging voice to the back of your head. It was probably nothing.
Until it wasn’t.
“So there you are, lil champ,” came that all too familiar drawl. You froze mid-step as a long shadow fell over you. You knew that voice, and you knew it too well for your own liking. The hairs on the back of your neck instantly stood on end as the smile fell from your face. “Never thought you’d go all the way back to school just to hide from me.”
There was no answer from you, but Raihan just kept speaking as if he didn’t notice. “Have to say you fit right in though. You do still have a lot to learn, don’t ya?” You didn’t have to turn to look to know who it was standing behind you, cold sweat already beading at your forehead as you stared down at the pavement, your eyes quavering. No way. There was no way he could have already found you. You thought- you thought you had made it far enough. You thought you were safe.
“You thought you were safe?” It was as if the man in the dragon hoodie towering over you could read your thoughts - no, in his presence, there was no doubt that your mind was like an open book. “That we would never be able to find you because you ran overseas?” Those deceivingly downturned eyes glared a hole into your back, his lazy smile deceptively kind. “Aren’t ya going to say anything?”
Your new friend seemed to have taken notice of the sudden fear that washed over your entire posture, and in an instant, you were pushed behind her back, Nemona’s gloved hand going almost threateningly to the Pokeballs that hung by her belt. “Excuse me, but who are you?” The usually bubbly voice you had come to know was suddenly firm, every bit of enthusiasm having faded away into this serious side you had only encountered once.
The Galar Dragon gym leader was hardly intimidated by those orange eyes, ignoring her as his dragon-like gaze continued to stare you down, the pressure alone from the fixation enough to force you to freeze. “Can’t even look at me, huh? Rude.” He knew you couldn’t. Raihan of all people knew better than most you couldn’t meet his gaze. The only response that left your lips was a whimper, your figure starting to quaver as the tears welled at the corner of your eyes.
But the annoying girl with the three strands of green hair butted in again, this time withdrawing a Pokeball to fully hold in her hand with the other arm wrapping comfortingly around your shoulders. “You are scaring my friend, and I do not appreciate that. Please leave.”
Raihan’s eyes finally slipped to the little insect, that razor-sharp gaze losing any and all interest. “And who are you?”
“Nemona, president of the Uva Academy student council and Champion-ranked trainer.” She announced, and the tanned man almost groaned out loud. Of all the places to possibly find you at, of course you had chosen the company of another champion.
‎‎‎
Though it was a third voice that finally shattered your heart and any hope of escape you had left. “Champion?” The voice rang out from the darkness of the unlit side street. “I thought you were done with champions.” The pounding of heavy footsteps, and that unmistakably mob of long purple hair emerged into the dull light of the overhead streetlight. Just when you thought your heart couldn’t sink any further, your poor beating organ simply opting to fall straight out from your chest. Leon.
If Leon was here...
Nemona’s grip on you only tightened. “Who are you?” She demanded again, putting herself directly between you and the two men. You wanted to thank her, to say something, to say anything, but all you could do was tremble, your feet rooted to the ground no matter how much you screamed at yourself to move. No way - no way. How did they find you? “What do you want?”
There was no escape. You were trapped.
Her question was answered by the whispers of the gathering stragglers that still wandered the otherwise quiet streets of Cortondo, though the growing number of eyeballs didn’t help you feel anymore at ease.
“Isn’t that… Leon and Raihan?”
“From Galar?”
“World number 1 and 7?! But what are they doing here?”
“Who’s that with Nemona?”
Your stomach churned, and you could feel the bile starting to rise through your throat. Leave. You wanted to leave. To run. To be anywhere but here.
The student council president was quick to realize that there was a lot more to you that she didn’t know, and that orange gaze, slowly but surely, turned on you. The reassuring grip she had on your shoulders never left, and Nemona gave you a tight squeeze. “What’s going on?” She whispered to you, but in the dead silence that suddenly fell over the night, everyone could hear her loud and clear. And what do these Master-Class trainers want with you? Was the unspoken question you heard loud and clear.
A single heartbeat of silence.
“Turn around, Galar Champion,” Leon ordered. There was no room in his tone for anything but absolute obedience, and against your will, you obeyed. Hesistantingly, shuffle by shuffle, you turned to face them, though your eyes remained firmly fixed on the ground, trembling hands gripped so tight that your knuckles were white.
Nemona’s eyebrows shot through the roof, and her voice pitched. “Galar Champion?!” And the growing crowd broke into a new round of frenzies whispers, every eyeball now on you, scanning you up and down in disbelief.
A little thing like you? Champion?
“Never told you huh?” Raihan crowed. “That she had an entire team of Pokemon that could run at Champion League levels?”
Leon only continued to study your form mutely as Raihan continued to taunt Nemona with his knowledge, those once-friendly yellow eyes now almost seeming to glow in the dare as they peered straight into your soul. Taking a single step in your direction, it was enough to have you shrink away, your eyes flying shut and your shoulders hitching up. Almost as if you were expecting to take a hit from the former Galar Champion.
“So you have our Champion, and we’ll like her back. Please.” Finished the tanned man. Baring those sharp teeth, the smile that pulled at those lips was anything but friendly, Raihan once more turning his gaze back on you.
“Are you ready to come home?”

“That’s my cake!” is what Raihan finally manages.
Leon uses the hand holding the Pokèball to point at his feet. “You’re puddling.”
“I—you!” Flustered, Raihan jerks the towel off his locs and slaps it to the floor, where it splashes into the puddle and certainly scatters more water drops than it soaks up. “You’re in my flat!”
“I have a key,” Leon answers. Like this is normal.
“I haven’t seen you in weeks,” Raihan snaps.
“We FaceTimed, like, four days ago.”
“You’re supposed to be in Wyndon!”
Leon sighs and leans back against the counter. “I was getting so bored in Wyndon. I wanted to be closer to the action.” He looks up with those melted honey-golden eyes, and Raihan swears his heart stops in his chest. “And I missed my best friend. I didn’t realize that was a crime.”
Well, fuck him sideways, that’s just a little too wholesome for him to ignore.

Dragon Darts
A/N - Hey @gladdygirl18 sorry it's taken so long, but I'm your Squealing Santa! I may have made the wrong turn and missed your chimney, but I am finally here with your present! I tried to get this done before the new year, but I've been sick for three weeks and my car just got broken into, so I'm super sorry about the delay! I hope you like it and I want to thank @squealing-santa and @hypahticklish for all of this!
Word Count: 1,260
Playing hide-and-seek with a man who owns two ghost-types was a poor choice, Raihan realized quickly into their game. He didn’t really expect Leon to cheat – well, yes he did, but he had some sort of hope for a fair game – and his smile slipped off his face once he heard Dragapult’s cry from the other room.
Raihan’s turn had gone perfectly. He had no need to use his Pokémon, it was just a simple game of hide-and-seek.
He didn’t quite remember how this little game came about, something about Leon boasting to be the best at all games played by children or something like that, but in an instant, Raihan wanted to call his bluff and Leon was scurrying off to hide.
For a man who had the worst sense of direction, Leon was actually fairly capable at finding a hiding spot. It took Raihan a good ten minutes to find him. It mostly took this long as Raihan had absolutely no idea that Leon could wedge himself behind the washing machine and the wall, but by golly did he do it. Raihan must have passed him a good twenty times before spotting him. After that performance, Raihan knew he had to up his game to beat Leon’s time.
Leon using his Pokémon was definitely cheating though.
Raihan took pride in his height, standing at a good six and a half feet. What people didn’t know is that despite his tall frame, he was incredibly flexible thanks to his slight build, which made clambering over the fridge and into a small cabinet not too difficult. He knew Leon would never check here, but all bets were off once Dragapult entered the game.
“Dragon Darts,” Leon whispered, while pointing down the hall. “Find him for me, if you will.”
Dragapult let out a low cry as he shot two Dreepy from his head. The duo cheered in delight as they sped through Raihan’s house, phasing through the walls as they flew. Leon chuckled as they went off, Dragapult still at his side.
“Am I cheating?” Leon asked, looking up at Dragapult. The Pokemon nodded with a grumble, which made Leon smile. “Well, I guess. Oh, well.”
Raihan could hear the Dreepy coming closer. The duo had split up to cover more ground, and one of them was making a beeline to the kitchen.
Raihan’s hands shook as the Dreepy flew around, zooming back and forth in front of his hiding spot. As anticipation swelled through his veins, Raihan threw his hands over his mouth, fearing the noise he could potentially utter if spooked by any sort of sound. The Dreepy paused after a few minutes of pacing the small kitchen. It let out a groan, which gave Raihan some hope that the ghost-type would just fly on into the next room, but of course he couldn’t be that lucky.
“Hi,” Raihan mouthed as the Dreepy phased through the cabinet door with half of his body. Eyes widening, the Dreepy let out a scream, flashing a toothy grin at the man. Sighing, Raihan reached out a hand to pet the darling Pokémon, knowing that it wasn’t its fault that Leon was playing dirty.
“Found you Raihan,” Leon called and Raihan could just visualize his cocky smirk he had as he walked into the kitchen. “Raihan, where…oh in Arceus’ name,” Leon let out a chuckle as he looked up at the Dreepy, which had now spun around so only the wispy back half was visible to Raihan, “How, Raihan, how?”
“Arsehole,” Raihan simply remarked as he heard Leon trying to scramble up the side of the counter. The door swung open; Leon’s face brightened sweetly once he saw Raihan in his tight hiding place.
“Well, that’s not very kind,” Leon prodded Raihan’s side while wearing a fake pout.
Raihan recoiled into the side of the cabinet, slamming his shoulder with all his weight. His lips quirked into a frown when he looked back at Leon, whose shit eating grin took over half his face.
“I’ll bloody stab you, mate. Leon!” Raihan let out a yelp once Leon poked him again.
“This is gonna be so much fun,” Leon laughed as he brought both hands down on his best friend’s torso.
Raihan definitely did not shriek, no. He could never do that. Never.
Cackling laughter poured from his lips as Leon skittered his fingers along any sensitive parts that he could reach. Due to Raihan’s positioning, he had his knees bent up and his feet pressed against the other side of the cabinet. This allowed all access to the backs of his thighs, and Leon was going to have a field day.
“You arsehole!” Raihan screamed as one hand scratched the underside of his thigh and the other wormed its way under his arm. In no position to move, Raihan just sunk as far back as he could and laughed.
“You’re not fighting back,” Leon mused, shifting his weight slightly. He was sitting on his knees, and while his legs were starting to ache, Leon could not let this opportunity pass. “What’s wrong? Are you stuck or do you just like this?”
Dragapult and the two Dreepy let out small huffs of amusement as Raihan just cursed, wiggling as much as he could. One of the two Dreepy had a brilliant idea, so he smacked his brother with excitement. The other Dreepy grumbled, frowning from being distracted from the delightful show they were watching, though he brightened up once his brother revealed his plan. Flapping his arms, the Dreepy let out a wail, following his brother into the cabinet right next to the one Raihan was in. Both phasing through the side of the cabinet, they appeared beside Raihan’s head, one on each side, and began to nuzzle into the trainer’s neck.
“Okay! Stahahp!” Raihan exclaimed after a few more minutes, his deep belly laughs were becoming hoarse and weak.
“Fine by me,” Leon snickered, pulling his arms back and jumped off the counter. “My arms were about to fall off!”
“Oh, boo hoo,” Raihan growled, though he still had a wobbly smile.
The two Dreepy flew down to Leon and purred, rubbing their bodies against his shoulders. Dragapult just rolled his eyes, though he had thoroughly enjoyed watching the shenanigans. This scene wasn’t too uncommon. Leon was always sweeping Raihan off his feet and throwing him onto the couch or against a wall to tickle the hell out of him. It was the big brother energy that he was always exerting, though Raihan was six months Leon’s senior. Dragapult often had to drag the two apart, along with Leon’s other Pokémon. Of course, Raihan’s Pokémon were usually present, but they never tried to help him. Only Flygon really cared, wanting Raihan to be victorious in these little fights, but her favor was usually won over by Leon rather quick, as he always kept little mints in his pocket that she loved.
“You are the absolute worst,” Raihan glared, looking down at his best friend.
“But that’s why you love me,” Leon batted his lashes.
“You know I’m going to kill you, right?”
“Yep.”
“Wanna make this easy or hard?”
“Bye,” Leon replied as an answer, as he darted off, blowing a raspberry as he ran.
“Of course,” Raihan rolled his eyes, then glanced over at Dragapult. The two Dreepy had returned to their spots atop Dragapult’s head, where they looked eager for more action. “Can you by chance to me a favor?”
Dragapult nodded, grumbling in amusement.
“Alright. Dragapult, use Dragon Darts.”
