And these Comics were a great upgrade for the cutscenes of the game!
I just wish they made more Tadeo Jones comics and didn't stop it just the two years ago this IP has a lot of potential for a comic book series.

From this interview:
―― And for Kemonotachi no Yoru, it might’ve turned out the way it did as a result, but it seems like it was meant to be (the Makuhari Live’s) theme song.
I: Uhhuh. I really like it.
―― What do you think of Sakurai-san’s lyrics?
I: I think it’s already a perfect fit. In the beginning, the working title for the demo was “Autobahn”. Then even after Sakurai-san gave it those lyrics and finished recording the song, it was still “Autobahn”. So I was getting worried about that. And then Sakurai-san said to me, “Hey, this isn’t going to be called ‘Autobahn’, is it?    I think the lyrics are completely different (from that title) though,” and some days after that, I changed the title.
Excuse me, but What?
(Night of the Beasts) was originally called AUTOBAHN?
(I mean, this does confirm my suspicions from my Ash-ra post about Imai and his Krautrock thing, and the titles just being completely misunderstood or disregarded by Sakurai)
I would never have guessed it from listening to the final version(s) of the song, but now he's mentioned it, I can kinda hear it? Mostly in that the song is basically just one giant riff that keeps building and building (very Krautrock, tho this particular riff is more Amon Düül II's Archangel Thunderbird than Kraftwerk). And also, of course the theremin-solo in the middle. But most of all, the kind of slippery gear-changey sounds woven around the transitions between guitar chords that sound like a portomento on a monophonic synth like Kraftwerk used to record the passing-car noises on the original Autobahn. (Those are the kind of tiny, perverted sonic details that make me love this band!)
Earlier in the interview, Imai said that the song changed a lot between demo and finished results - damn, would I love to hear that more Autobahn-y demo, tho.
―― And you’ll be releasing a single. RONDO has a tie-up where it’ll be used as the ending theme song of Gegege no Kitaro, but what was your concept for Kemonotachi no Yoru?
I: This was in my stock. It’s completely different now, but the demo which was made from that riff was there. From start to end. But I completely forgot that it existed. I opened a folder in my PC and saw it, then when I wondered what it was and opened it up, this was in there (lol).
―― Right. Listening closely, this song is made of the one same riff going on from start to end. I thought that it’s got quite a crazy composition and it really turned into a good song (lol).
I: I thought, “Oh, right I made that. Ah, this is cool.” And making use of that guitar riff and the vibe of that demo, I redid it from the start and turned it into Kemonotachi no Yoru.

Day 61: About female egyptian mummies in media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you think there will be people who compare Ra-Amon-Ah, a royal, regal female mummy who could be misunderstood and wears sky-blue clothes with Cleo De Nile from Monster High, who is another royal, regal female mummy who is misunderstood, wears sky-blue clothes and has a not so kind backstory? (It's actually depressing)
I love Cleo and so far I like "Ramona" that I couldn't help but think spanish Monster High fans might compare the two just for fun or maybe because the Monster High movie and reboot is coming the same year.
Maybe some can joke about how Ramona is more accurate to the original Cleo than the movie or reboot version.

Ah, yes. That tool.
The gods of Egypt did exist, but not exactly as the myths say. They were extremely powerful beings who certainly influenced (and were influenced by) Egyptian civilisation, but a lot of the stories about them were made up or embellished by their worshippers. Amon-Ra, for instance, was not actually the creator of the world. However, he really did have the job of preventing the Chaos Serpent, Apophis, from destroying all life.
Seth was even more vain and cruel than he was portrayed as being. A hedonist addicted to sensation, he enjoyed pleasure and pain in equal measures, and so did his closest followers.
He didn't meet Kali (Hack) until the Middle Ages, after most of his fellow gods had died or been killed, but he saw a spark of something familiar in her. Her bloodlust was harder to control than it had ever been, and he took advantage of that. Seth turned Kali against her brother and together they led blood cults across Eurasia.
In 1666, they finally split from each other, and their fight caused the Great Fire of London. At that time, Slash used a chain made from heartstrings to bind Seth in an enchanted prison. Unfortunately, a side effect is that the very magic that makes up the prison also sustains Seth's life.

Persona World’s Demon Encyclopedia - Days 7-10
Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 - Day 4 - Day 5 - Day 6 - Twitter thread
All entries can be found in my blog, tagged as “demonic compendium.”
Sorry for not posting anything in the past few days. Real Life™ has been hectic, but here’s all the profiles that should have been posted if everything went according to plan. Since I missed four days it should’ve meant 12 profiles, but 3 of those are stuff I’ve already translated in the past so they don’t count. Which means here’s a whooping FIFTEEN profiles in total. Enjoy!
Ah Puch
Mayan death god. He looks like a white skeletal figure with protruding ribs and patches of decayed skin. He wears bells all throughout his body and is accompanied by a dog and an owl.
Ah Puch is the leader of the Bolontiku, a group of nine gods who govern Xibalba, the Mayan underworld. He also presides over Mitnal, the lowermost layer of Xibalba.
Abe no Seimei
An onmyōji who lived in Japan during the Heian (794-1185) period. It is speculated that he’s a descendant of Abe no Musaki, but his mother’s identity is unknown, though some believe that his mother was the fox spirit Kuzunoha.
Seimei’s name has also been recorded in multiple manuscripts, some of them depicting legends that stray from reality. In the Konjaku Monogatari, Seimei was a pupil of Kamo no Tadayuki and learned the secret arts from him. It was also said that he had outstanding abilities, such as being able to divine the cause of the Emperor’s illness, and also employ a total of twelve shikigami.
Seimei’s arch nemesis was Ashiya Douman. The two of them once competed to see who was superior and Seimei won. In retaliation, Douman assassinated Seimei’s father, but Seimei was able to revive him using his power.
Nowadays, the Seimei ward of Kyoto houses the Seimei Shrine, which celebrates the anniversary of Seimei’s death every year with a festival on September 26.
Apep
Egyptian snake god born from the primordial sea. He embodies chaos itself, and is also called “The Great Serpent.” He’s also associated with Ouroboros, the giant serpent from Greek mythology that surrounds the world.
As his name suggests, Apep’s body is gigantic. Every day, the sun god Ra carries the sky from West to East, and Apep attempts to swallow it. As a result of Apep’s actions, the day-night cycle exists.
Apollo
A Greek god. He and his twin sister Artemis were born from Zeus and the goddess Leto. He was fed nectar and ambrosia, the drink and food of the gods, and thus grew into an adult in only a few days. He performed many heroic deeds, such as slaying the giant snake Python and the giant Tityos.
Apollo was a young and beautiful god, and so there are many legends that talk about his love life. However, he was repeatedly deceived and betrayed, and so his love was never returned.
Amatsu Mikaboshi
Also known as Ame no Kakaseo or Hoshi no Kakaseo, he is the Japanese god of stars.
In the Nihon Shoki, the gods Take-Mikazuchi and Futsunushi tried to subjugate Ashihara no Nakatsu Kuni during the Tenson Kōrin, but Amatsu Mikaboshi resisted them until the very end, granting him the epithet of "disobedient fierce god." However, in the end he was defeated by Shitsuri and Take-Hazuchi.
Maihime Amano
An original character appearing in Eternal Punishment.
She is a daughter from one of Kiyotada Sumaru’s branch families and Maya Amano’s ancestor. She and her lover Tatsunoshin Suou assassinated Kiyotada Sumaru, the tyrant who wanted to take over all of Japan. Even after Kiyotada’s death, her mummified remains keep watch over the city of Sumaru.
When summoned as a Persona, she has the appearance of a red-haired woman sporting two horns and wearing long-sleeved clothes.
Ameretat
One of the seven archangels from Zoroastrianism, the Amesha Spenta. She’s a daughter of the chief god Ahura Mazda and her name means “Immortality.” She’s the guardian angel of plants and responsible for governing the spiritual power of the sacred tree Haoma.
She often appears in conjunction with the god Haurvatat, whose name means “wholeness” and “satisfaction,” as the two of them are associated with water and plants. By uniting their powers, the two of them are capable of sending forth rain. Flowers are given as offerings in rituals that worship Ameretat.
Ame no Uzume
Japanese goddess of kagura and performing arts. When the goddess Amaterasu hid herself inside a cave known as Ama no Iwato and darkness fell over the world, Ame no Uzume danced in front of it with her breasts and crotch exposed, attracting Amaterasu’s attention and drawing her out of the cave.
“Uzume” means traditional Japanese hair ornaments, also known as kanzashi, which she wears when performing a kagura. It’s also believed that Ame no Uzume was originally a mortal woman who became deified.
Amon-Ra
The chief god of ancient Egypt. His name means "he who is hidden," and he's commonly depicted in murals as a person wearing a large feather hat.
Originally, Amon and Ra were two separate gods, but once the capital was moved to Thebes during the Middle Kingdom, the two gods were merged into one. They became Amon-Ra, sun god and supreme deity of Egypt. He's also the guardian deity of the pharaohs, and according to legend the pharaohs are his descendants.
Pride
An original demon from Ibunroku with the shape of a mask. It represents the human emotion of believing oneself to be superior and looking down on others. Other names for this emotion include: arrogance, haughtiness, and insolence.
Alastor
From Greek mythology, he’s the official in charge of performing executions in Hell. Alastor is also known as “the executioner” in Zoroastrianism.
He was originally the son of the sea god Nereus, but Alastor had his wife stolen by his step-father, which prompted him to take revenge. Ever since the Middle Ages, Alastor came to be seen as an executioner who follows the orders of the devil. Because of this, the name “Alastor” itself means “avenger.”
Arianrhod
A Welsh goddess worshiped as the guardian deity of the Corona Borealis. She’s the daughter of the mother goddess Don and sister of Gwydion. Her role is to keep the silver wheels representing time turning for all eternity. Aside from turning the wheels of time, Arianrhod is also responsible for ferrying those who die in combat to the afterlife in a large boat. She’s also called the mother of the Aryan race and believed to be the same entity as the Greek Ariadne.
Alice
A mysterious girl. Her name and features resemble the protagonist of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
She's an original demon in the Megami Tensei series, first appearing in Shin Megami Tensei. Afterwards, she kept appearing in other games of the franchise as a rare demon.
Arachne
Greek goddess of wisdom, crafts, and weaving. She was the daughter of the famous dyer Idmon and possessed exceptional skill at weaving. However, Arachne’s pride grew too big, which made her challenge the gods to a weaving contest. In the contest, she weaved various depictions of scandals committed by the gods in a tapestry, which drew their ire. As punishment, the goddess Athena transformed her into a spider.
Artemis
One of the twelve Olympians from Greek mythology. She is the goddess of the moon and hunting. She can always be found running in the woods, carrying bow and arrows and accompanied by a group of nymphs and hunting dogs.
Artemis is fastidious and merciless. She once transformed Actaeon, a hunter who caught a glimpse of her naked body, into a stag and then had his own hunting dogs kill him. She also transformed a woman who broke her vow of chastity and got pregnant into a bear.
Her Roman counterpart is the moon goddess Selene.
Wow, this was a lot!
TOMORROW: Alecto, Ares, and Aonbharr.

Hummingbird- what are your muse's comfort objects, comfort foods, comfort objects, etc?
...Of A Feather || Accepting
It’s a stressful day when Beth doesn’t text Tony at least three dozen times throughout their shifts. A meme here, a funny thing her patient told her there {that isn’t exactly funny, or falls into the realm of dad joke}, subtle indignation over the way the heterosexual male population treats her like a fetish of the week. But to go completely radio silent? It’s bad.
So it comes as no surprise when he lets himself into her apartment with the key she gave him months ago as an ‘in case of emergency break glass’ gesture {accompanying the key with a sand-dollar chain she made herself was a little speech about if he needed to go somewhere that wasn’t home, that she had plenty of space} to find her on her floor. Seated criss-cross in slightly baggy purple plaid pyjamas between the coffee table and the front of the couch. A plate of grilled cheese sandwiches in front of her, one showing a distinctive bite-pattern and nothing else. A large wine glass half empty with something dark and red ~her favourite, no doubt, called Amon Ra~ and cuddled to her chest in a death grip is a clearly old, clearly well-loved stuffed turtle that has seen it’s fair share of being patched over time and time again.
She’s watching some kind of forensic science documentary. Waits until the autopsy photographs are put on screen larger than life before reaching out and taking another bite of her sandwich. She chews it carefully before tearing her eyes from the screen and glances across the room. She doesn’t really say much, though her eyes trail down to his feet to make sure he’s taken his shoes off by the door as is her one house rule.  Then she nods toward the couch behind her and lifts up the blanket that’s draped across it, offering him the space to sit and snuggle.
“Wine ovah heah nex’ t’ me,” she finally announces. “Plenny extra grill cheese f’ya hungry. An’ we can watch some kine else if ya want, but dis is jus’ gettin’ good. Dis necropsy showin’ da victim suffer from an embolism from-” She pauses as she realises that such things might not be so soothing for someone that does his job. She offers him the most apologetic of smiles before scrambling to find something less objectionable. “Or we could...ah...watch rerun of Friends?”
~*~  ~*~  ~*~  ~*~
When it comes to comfort food.. Beth doesn’t have a lot. Most of the time it’s like herding cats to get her to sit down and eat things, and the same goes for sleep. But the one thing she doesn’t seem able to pass up is a good grilled cheese sandwich.  The combination of cheese, bread, and any other ingredients put into it doesn’t seem to really matter. There is just something about toasty buttery bread, oozing or gooey cheese that hits the spot. It’s also a case of heavy nostalgia. Once her mother divorced the Admiral, cooking became her brother’s responsibility. And at first most of it involved local fast food or ordered meals from regular restaurants. The first thing he ever successfully cooked for her was grilled cheese and tomato soup.  Even then Beth was primarily pescatarian though it didn’t have that name. She was simply considered a picky eater who would cry over most meat. When she got much older, she began to see the inherent value of wine as a relaxant and that it paired well with said grilled cheese. As for comfort objects, warm and soft things are key. Especially on the east coast, Beth always feels cold, regardless of the actual temperature outside. She enjoys slightly baggy clothes as a way to hide in plain sight. She is extremely sensitive to touch, and considers it her primary way of interacting with the world, especially since her hearing is impaired.
And finally, there’s her stuffed turtle. Given to her when she was five years old and in the hospital recovering from the shark-bite, it has been her constant companion for the last twenty-two years. It is particularly important now as sewn into it’s chest cavity are her brother’s dog-tags, which she put into the turtle after his funeral. Beth cannot sleep without it and suffers anxiety-induced panic attacks if it becomes misplaced.

Every time I see these two beside each other I tend to think of Ra Amon Ah as Tad's mentor. The Mummy I see as Tad's kooky but smart big brother.
This also influence the idea I have of her also helping Tad through the Jaguar trial

Skyrim: Touch the sky Ch1 Helgen’s chopping block.
The following is a non profit fan based story, TES Skyrim belongs to Bethesda, RwBy belongs to RoosterTeeth please support the official release.
=
I gain no profit from this nor do I own anything other then OCs and whatever sprouts from my imagination. Thanks for reading!
The feeling of cold and sound hooves hitting the frozen ground is what stirred Amon-Ra awake, her red eyes blinked and adjusted to her surroundings...She was in a wagon? the girl tried to move her long hair from her face only to find her hands tied. "Finally awake little one?" Amon-Ra looked across from her to see a blond man in a similar position, a stormcloak soldier she mentally noted she'd seen a few of them passing through Ivarstead...
Well run out of Ivarstead would be the proper term. the man gave her a tired smile "You were trying to cross the boarder, Eh? walked right into that Imperial ambush got captured with us and that thief over there." she looked to the right of her to see two more men.
One in rags and one gagged. Thief shot accusations at the Stormcloak as Amon-Ra got a look at the man next to her and the elven girl knew him well. Ulfric Stormcloak, of course he was just Ulfric the boy the last time she saw him, doubtful he'd remember her. The rare times they interacted was when he'd help her pick frost grapes, read and meditate, though their interactions became less frequent as he grew older.
As a child Ulfric never understood why she always wore a blindfold if she wasn't blind and was never allowed to leave the monastery? she had calmly explained that her eyes weren't normal and the monks and her father were protective of Amon-Ra's...condition.
"Got the Falmer's Bane, eh?" the man across from her broke her train of thought, both Amon-Ra and the thief looked confused "Falmer's what?" the thief asked before Amon could, "Falmer's bane on to the Nords they gain, Snow kissed hair and skin so white and fair, eyes red for the lost lives and blood they shed." The Stormcloak said unsure.
"At least, I think that's how the old poem goes?...either way she has it."
"My..mentor says it's called albinism where's she's from."
"Ah...so, she speaks."
"..."
The wagon driver snapped at them to quiet down, a few moments of silence the thief looked over at Ulfric and grimaced "What's his problem?" this caused the Stormcloak to glare at him "Watch your tongue Thief, you're in the presence of Ulfric Stormcloak. The true high-king of Skyrim." The thief went from annoyed to stunned. "Ulfric? But if you're here then..." the color drained from his face. "Divines where are they taking us?!" Amon-Ra may be sheltered, But she wasn't stupid. it was the end of the line, the white haired girl blocked out most of the chatter as she came to terms with this whole situation. Was this really how it ends? Her the last of her race and bloodline... does it really end here with her? All because Amon-Ra wanted independence?
The wagon came to a stop and they were ushered off, Lokir desperately prayed to the divines as he was yanked off the wagon. "Please don't kill us! we're not rebels!" the man pleaded but, it fell on deaf ears...as the imperial soldier keeping the list of names called for Lokir of Rorikstead. instead of stepping forward Lokir made a mad dash towards the gates only to get struck down by the archers.
Amon winced seeing Lokir's body drop lifelessly to the ground, then it was her turn Amon stepped forward the guard looked perplexed as he checked the list, checked every name and couldn't see hers anywhere "who are you..what are you?" The albino girl shifted uncomfortably she couldn't exactly tell them she was a Dark/Snow Elf ... then again she not technically an elf either.
"I am Amon-Ra of Ivarstead."
"I see... Race?"
"....Dunmer? I suppose." that wasn't a complete lie, her birth father was a Dark elf her mother was Snow elf mixed with ... let's just say her grandmother was something other worldly, What exactly? her teacher was never very clear on... Amon-Ra took after her mother in a sense, for she was neither Man nor Mer a beast would would better way describe it. but that's putting it lightly.
The imperial blinked a few times as he looked the young elf over, she certainly didn't look like a dark elf, but alas there was no time to ask nor dwell as he turned to the armored woman standing to the side unsure of what to do.
"Captain, she's not on the list."
The guard informed his superior who just sneered. "List or not Hadvar, she gets the block." she ordered Hadvar look back at Amon sadly. "I'm sorry, I'll see if we can send your remains to Morrowind." Amon-Ra went to protest that she wasn't born in Morrowind! but was shoved forward towards the line up. The villagers got a good look at her."They can't be serious! She's just a little girl!" one of the men yelled causing a the others to whisper among themselves. "The poor thing looks barely passed her 15th winter."a woman stated affronted. under different circumstances Amon-Ra would've giggled and took that as a compliment, being a 191 years old and all! but now? It was all just a bitter memory in her last minutes life.
The captain snapped at the villagers to be quiet as the first man step towards the block, Was when Amon-Ra felt it, her eyes turned towards the sky the energy in air it felt... disturbed, Something was coming... Then there was a noise it was distant at first but, loud enough to cause everyone to look up. "What was that?" Hadvar asked his eyes scanned around bemused. "Nothing of our concern, give him is last rights," the captain ordered the priestess gave the man his last rights or at least tried to till' the man told her to shut up and get it over with.
Amon-Ra looked away as the ax came down on him. the sound came again a little closer this time. "there it is again!" another soldier said warily the captain ignored it "Now the Dark elf!" she ordered Amon was shoved forwards towards the block. the girl felt her eyes burn as she knelt down *I'm sorry father...* she winced waiting for death only for a deafening sound akin to an explosion caused her ears to ring.
Amon-Ra's red eyes shot up to see a large black figure swoop down and land on top of the tower... a dragon!? The shock wave by the beast's landing caused the executioner to stumble and drop his ax and the town erupted into chaos, as soldiers scrambled to get to cover and their weapons, the townsfolk were scattered screaming in horror at the black mass that ravaged through Helgen.
Amon-Ra was frozen stunned at what she was seeing, only to be snapped out of it by Ralof who had grabbed her arm a dragged her into one of the towers. the white haired girl scanned the room they were in, few of the Stormcloaks were there catching their breaths. Ulfric included he looked up from an injured soldier as Ralof walked over to his leader, the two discussed what was happening while Amon ran up the stairs.
"Jump on the inn next to the tower, We're right behind you!" the blond called up to her, the girl nearly fell down when the side of the tower was ripped open and a torrent of flames shot passed her, she looked up to see a pair of red eyes staring back at her perplexed, Amon-Ra flinched as the dragon sniffed then in a low voice hissed at her " Hi ...Los Nid Joor-" the dragon was cut off by arrows hitting the side of it's neck, It whipped it's head in the direction they came from he roared moving away from the tower and went after the poor souls.
The white haired girl wasted no time hopping into the burning Inn across from the tower, and running down the stairs and into the street. she looked around frantically her gaze landed on a little boy, her stomach drop when she saw the black dragon land behind the child, before she even knew what she doing Amon-Ra ran over to him threw her arms around him and ran the child and herself behind cover; just as the dragon spat a torrent of flames right where he had been standing, Amon sighed relieved then looked down at the boy.
"Are you okay?"
"Uh-huh."
What were you thinking? are you trying to die?!"
"No, I wanted to hel-"
Hadvar cut him off "Trolof take care of the boy!" he then turned to the girl "Amon-Ra follow me!" he ordered the red eyed girl looked back at the boy before following after the legate who led her to the keep, this was the first time Amon-Ra ever killed someone. after she and Hadvar entered the keep he undid her bound hands, he told her to find some armor and a sword. she complied while Hadvar kept his eyes trained on the door in case any Stormcloaks wandered in when she was done changing.
Hadvar looked confused at her now braided hair. "how did you braid your hair so quic-" he was silenced when he heard talking over head. they saw Stormcloaks behind a gate, and the legate thought they could negotiate with them, They didn't give them a chance the second they saw Amon-Ra and Hadvar they attacked! Hadvar did most of the work as Amon-Ra had never used her skills on a human before...
As they traveled deeper into the keep depths Amon didn't know what to feel, sure she was trained to be a warrior. but, that was for Grimm not humans! and this damn Iron sword was so dull and clumsy! She wished she had her Jörmungandr with right now, then she'd be back in the swing of things! after fighting their way through stormcloaks, giant spiders and sneaking passed a bear.
They were out! Amon quickly changed out of the armor and into mage robes she found in the dungeons, she calmly threw her braid around her neck like a scarf and pulled the hood up before joining Hadvar outside where she saw the the dragon fly over them, for a brief second Amon swore she felt it's gaze on her as it flew off into the approaching storm clouds.
When all was said and done Hadvar led Amon to Riverwood. stopping a few times to point out the guardian stones and bleak falls barrow, The albino girl had to hold her hair still, to keep it wiggling it always did that when she was curious. her red eyes left the scenic view, she then followed after Hadvar only to bump into his back. She looked at him then at what was bothering him... wolves a large pack of them.
Amon-Ra made sure the nord man wasn't looking at her, she used her eyes on the wolves, the pack all looked at her and whined before running off with their tails between their legs, Hadvar was flabbergasted as he sheathed his sword. "That was odd...wolves usually don't back off when they see prey." he said turning to the girl next to him who just shrugged seemly just as bemused as he was as they continued on the path by night fall they'ed arrived to the small town.

NAHOME 7
Observó día y noche y no encontró descanso.
"Solo me regocijaré si me llevas.
