He jokes in one of the Q&As about not being able to pronounce names but Alex tries which is more than a lot of people do. Lydia: Oh I didn’t realize you’d redone Figgis. I thought it was just because he kept saying "give him a name, give him a name" and I was like "Gilly, Gissis, Givus..." and my brain was like "oh, the Gilly thing"!

Ben: No, the next one is Siggif.

Alex: They call it (dramatic) Canary Wharf!

Ben: That's where my brain immediately went, and I went "No, that'll be too obvious".

Rome Is Where The Heart Is

Vax, Percy and Scanlan vs. a door that’s not even locked, just barred by a kinda heavy thing of wood.

On their side: An ineffective use of Dimension Door, a gnome too small to lift up some wood, Percy’s never-before-used sword that draws its first blood by cutting Scanlan when they all try to lever the door open with it by hanging on it on both sides with it shoved through the crack, an admirable determination to follow this line of action through and NOT go in the broken window literally feet from them, a half-elf that does finally climb in through the window to help the gnome lift the piece of wood but is also too wimpy, a MAGICALLY SUMMONED UNSEEN SERVANT FROM ANOTHER PLANE THAT TRIES TO LIFT WITH THEM AND ROLLS A FUCKING FOUR, and finally, born out of desperation after like twenty minutes, three wasted spells and four points of self-inflicted slashing damage, a completely overkill use of Bigby’s Hand to flick the wooden bar away like a toothpick.

On the door’s side: TECHNICALLY NOTHING.

Imogen failing her wisdom save on the thought reading attempt early on, and having to spend the rest of the day in a state of what pretty much amounts to constantly trying to avoid auditory sensory overload is honestly so weirdly relateable.

She keeps trying to steer everyone to the secluded corners of the tavern and away from the crowds because she can’t seem to turn off hearing the barrage of thought input from the people around, and even says to Laudna afterwards that she had trouble following the actual conversation at the table because of it. Like, girl I feel you. Try being autistic and sitting in a crowded restaurant on a day where you’re not completely at 100% and it’s pretty much the exact same experience.

RQG 217 speculations/thoughts

Listening to 205 again and Hamid talks about how when Babbage takes over the "brain" that controls the BV the CoH could try to take control of him in an effort to control BV for themselves. So...

• With Guivres being impaled and dealing with Apophis the fight has now shifted to the BV things but now could be CoH.

• We know according to Babbage stuff is gonna go weird when the array starts and we got some of that at the end of 216. The weird probably will signal to everyone that stuff is happening which means CoH will know.

• Bringing back the Rome group now feels like CoH could now be the final big bad so Vesseek and Emeka can get revenge on them.

• We finally figure out what happened to Barret, whether he was the monster in 207 or responsible for it or whatever.

• I'm worried about the weird stuff happening during the array but not as much as I am about the Cult. Unless the weird stuff plays into CoH trying to take Babbage. I feel we're gonna get TMA 119 vibes in 217.

• WORRIED ABOUT THE TOWER CRASHING! I don't believe Hamid has enough Fly to cast on all the new people who arrived. Topaz can probably carry a few, Hamid can but he's very small, Wilde & Cel could carry someone, Azu could if Hamid casts Fly on her, Zolf can levitate but has leg issues.

• I don't see initiative ending this episode but considering there's only 2 left I don't know when it could. I really don't want the campaign ending right as the world goes back to normal, just so they have a bit of a breather to say, hey we did it. But obviously won't go into a lot given the epilogues.

• I'm really worried about Earhart and Skraak being dead and now more NPCs. Also worried Einstein won't make it.
