Galar Update!

Vi and I are currently in the city of… Beladona? I think that’s the name. I’m not sure what’s up with this region, but when I took a train to Hammerlock nobody questioned the FUCKIN REGIROCK FOLLOWING ME! So yeah, Epsilon followed me. Here’s their set from what I’ve gathered:

Moves: Stone Edge/Drain Punch/Earthquake/Explosion

So yeah. I’ve never caught them, and they don’t listen to commands aside from “attack” or “stand down”. That’s fun.

Yall just witnessed the acquisition of Pimple. So that’s a thing. Baron hates they’re guts lol.

Pimple eagerly nods in agreement. A nice walk in the wilderness is indeed a great thing. As long as one doesn't run into a cult that worships a ugly painting on a stone...

[🪨] "That sounds really great. I've climbed mountains before and have gone for walks in forests. I think I'll have a look around here later!" Though, something seems to concern the big toad as he continues his work.

Zitz in the meantime uses his teleporting device on his glove again to get rid of the remaining junk that has been collected. There may be still bits and pieces, but maybe these can be integrated into the garden's new design with some creativity. He does start to wonder how they'll get off that planet again. He really might have to tinker something together out of whatever he finds on the junkyard. Or, he just sends a distress signal to the Queen later to pick them up.

While their leader still seems to ponder about things and Rash sulks around in his own corner, Pimple carefully straightens out the plants that are not completely destroyed yet. And finally musters the courage to bring up his concerns.

[🧪] There’s a bit of an amused snort at Rash’s own disappointment— maybe it was a touch too mean, but then Doc so happened to take a gander at his squashed … well, squash. 

Suddenly, the oldster didn’t feel all that bad. 

He kept the fact there was an arcade and a casino in town to himself (for now), as the gentle giant of the trio spoke up with his own question. Now that he could help out with!

“Well …” Doc rubbed his chin in thought. “Plenty of nature all around; I find that a good ol’ trail walk through the woods with their creaks and rivers alike can really center a weary old spirit. More north you go, the more mountainous, so be wary if you like to rough-it. But regardless, plenty of foragables too, if that’s your thing.”

That was most certainly Doc’s thing— nothing like a harvest of wild mushrooms to really spice up a dish. Now what else is there to do around here? There's the junkyard that he visits for scrap metals and all sorts of left behind goodies ... but uh ... he'll ... keep that to himself.

“Sometimes the city square hosts festivals and farmer markets as well … and, my daughter swears by The Insomniac. It’s an eh, sort of cafe with an underground nightlife. Tourists tend to like that lil’ shindig.”

Updates:

1. Rash and Zitz have been removed due to an obvious lack of interest. I would have liked to rp them personally, but to be honest, I already struggled to find anyone interested in these two in the past. And I don't have the energy to curb the activity and interest in two muses no one touched so far. As a result, they may still have small cameos in Pimple's threads in the future but receive no significant roles on this blog anymore. As far as Pimple goes, I will post a hc post for him later and try to curb his presence a little at least. He's a good guy and deserves a little more activity on my blog. I hope my moots will give him a chance eventually while he's now on his own. 2. Test muses! I added Rough and Mikey. Both are no new muses to me, I had them on my previous blogs. But they had always been muses that went on and off, so we'll see. Big chance that they won't stick around tbh, but I like to have the option to give them another shot anyway. Definitely not in near time tho, my main focus is Technodromes and the threads I still need to catch up at the moment. But I thought: hey if I'm already here to tidy up a few things, might as well add these two test muses I thought about adding before several times.

Ed's eyes lit up. "Old Nokias?" he asked with the excitement that one would have expected someone like him to have reserved for new cutting edge tech. "Like--like..." He reached into his pocket, and pulled out... just the thing. A brick phone. From the looks of it, it might have been the first phone he ever owned, considering the numbers have been worn off. What is certain is at this rate it was likely to be his last. It was likely to outlast him.

There was a good chance there was likely other gems of old tech in the rubbish pile. Or maybe they'll find a body and have a mystery on their hands. Either way, Ed was intrigued.

Could Ed be the one? Could he be the one Doom finally gets to geek out with about her out-of-the-ordinary obsession with watching videos of people popping blackheads?

Her breath is quickening, her eyes widening, pupils dilating at the mere thought of it. The only person she's ever been able to share such a fixation with was her sister, Thursday. Everyone else thinks it's gross or weird.

But could Ed be the one...?

No. No. No. Not yet. She can't. She chickens out at the last second. Ed will give her the look, and that'll just make her feel stupid. so stupid, she can't stand to get the look from people, especially not people she enjoys being around, because then she will always worry about getting the look from them again.

So, instead of sharing that special interest with him, she swerves around it and goes for something more socially acceptable instead.

"Ed, have you ever seen the rubbish pile just outside of the Office?" Doom says, her face split into an almost manic grin. The rubbish pile is one of her favorite things to talk about - and dig around in. "It's this literal pile of rubbish that was left behind by people at some point during the apocalypse that somehow never gets any smaller and apparently has no bottom to it. We've been digging in it for like, years or something, and we've found like hundreds of old Nokia cell phones and old bottle caps and shit. It's awesome! Ehehehe. You wanna come check it out? Come dig around in some rubbish like a weirdo? Ehehehe."

Hay tumblr! It takeeeees a long time to write again😭

Because my ielts writing below my expectation, i need to do something right? Like journalling in this app lol. Long story short, I’m already 25 years old, single and doing the job unproductively, mentally exhausted and get 5% on my social battery. Been into therapy lately, yesterday for 3 hours almost rp. 1 million ( i should have a boyfriend for taking care of me, at least for brain dump right)🥲🥲

Right now, im going to sleep with my face as shine as the glazed donuts, with a lot of pimples and heavy mind, i wish i can make emotional boundaries easily🥲 at first, my therapist told me that i got a symptoms of burn out, such as i hate my room, get irritated easily and also kdrama no longer give me peace (which is rare)😭 im detaching from social media and also my closest friends (im sorry but i dunno what to say if they ask me why) because i have no clue whats inside my body…. I wish i can unlock this transparat barrier and trying to accept the things that i cant control.

Maybe i can say this is a quarter life crisis? Lol wtf, i feel small, lonely, like what im doin with my life? Now i hate my cat too because they are too noisy(.) rre-try to love my self again… isnt it rudiculous? 🥲 why im dislike my self? I dont think that she made a huge mistake, even though she is, it is because they dont know how to cope with her unfocus, people pleasing, constant judgment and criticism. I wish she could be more gentle to her self.

🎁 — what have you accomplished in the rpc that you’re proud of? 😗 — what are some of your favorite things to do when you have some time to yourself?

🎁 — I feel like accomplishment in the realm of RPC is a little hard to quantify. I have a little over 100 followers, which means there are maybe ten people who read threads I write in even if they're not active participants. I'm nearing 2K posts but a fair number of those are shares, photos, and reposts rather than original content.

I think, though, what I'm proud of is that I've been going to the effort of putting myself out there. Reaching out to others with a genuine interest in interaction, co-writing, RP, and possibly friendship as well. Moreover, I actually have made friends here -- including the fantastic mun who submitted this question.

😗 — I watch some niche corners of YouTube (gamers like Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Game Grumps, and GrayStillPlays; quirky and gross stuff like Good Mythical Morning and Dr. Pimple Popper; food pr0n a la Binging With Babish, Worth It, and About To Eat). I listen to a lot of rock music, always on the search for the next progressive metal band I'll fall in love with (can't get enough of Unleash the Archers and Myrath, currently diving further into Battle Beast and Beast in Black). I have a decent collection of video games but I'm a little stuck on Pokémon at the moment (currently playing Sword, will be playing Violet when it comes out). Until earlier this year I was running a D&D campaign with a few folks lurking around various corners here on Tumblr; we're currently on hiatus but we mean to return to it sometime after the holiday season. But really, even though I struggle with it when left to my own devices... I love to write. Even if I don't mean for it to be anything professional, even if it's just a little drabble here or there... putting my thoughts down and assembling them into a story I think is worth telling has always been a love of mine.

Talk us through your make up process of your fav character to rp

((OOC: Ooohhhh I like this one! Tough decision, but I suppose that would be Fenrir, I always have a blast with him.

I start off by covering up anything I don't want to be seen, so mostly pimples and spots. After that I do the contouring, with brown and white eyeshadow, because who even has proper makeup. (I used to do it with grey and really messy and I liked the way it turned out, but now it's a tad more subdued.)

Depending on I don't even know what I either do the eyebrows or the scars next. The eyebrows I fill in with grey eyeshadow, broaden them a bit and build that spiky thing.

The scars are a layering of brown eyeshadow (blended), slightly darker than my skin tone kid's makeup (jagged and a tad blended), white kid's makeup highlights (jagged, blended even less) and then I go back into the shadows with a touuuch of grey eyeshadow.

The beard is also from that kid's makeup set (bought around either Halloween or carnival). Pop in those fangs, look a little out of it and voilà, that's it. Maybe put on a different shirt, maybe before all this. XD ))
