The girls enter the room decorated for Iseul’s birthday. They’re all wearing princess dresses.

LILY Oh my god, 5 more days and you’ll be an adult. How does it feel no longer being young?

Our pekingese spares no mercy, not even today

ISEUL What’s that? I can’t hear you from down the— Ow! Mari, Lily’s… mean.

The girls take their seats in the order of Jangmi-Mari-Iseul-Lily-Jisu. Today, Iseul’s been given her gifts from all 5 of her members. The staff put boxes on the table containing the gifts, which the girls all inspect and shake around.

PD If you guess who gave what gift, the member whose gift you guessed has to give an extra gift of 10 000 won.

Iseul’s birthday, the gift that keeps on giving

JANGMI 10 000?! I don’t have that kind of money!

MARI Didn’t you buy something worth 20 000 yesterday?

LILY That must be why she doesn’t have the money

Iseul picks up one of the boxes and shakes it. Not much noise comes from inside.

SEUL Must be clothing then…

JANGMI (owner of the gift) And that’s a bad thing?

SEUL *scared* No! Just… making an observation.

2/5 members are already after Seulie. Will she make it to 20?

Seul picks up the lid and drops the contents onto the table. The girls erupt with laughter as a sports bra falls out. She looks at Jangmi and shakes her head, a wide grin on her face.

Detective Seulie seems to know the culprit

JISU Who? How? I—

SEUL Too easy. There’s only one person in this room who knows my size. The colour looks great, by the way. Thanks, Eonni

JANGMI *a lil’ embarrassed* No problem.

The rest of the gifts are opened altogether due to Seul’s impatience. A bottle of perfume, her favourite brand of seaweed snacks, a cute drawing on card, and tickets to a movie.

Son ISeul truly is well-loved

Mari takes out her wallet, knowing her gift is painfully obvious.

SEUL *teasing* Hmm, I wonder who the drawing is from? It’s really pretty and I mean that.

MARI *handing her money over* You’re making it worse..

JANGMI It’s really pretty! You could design our next album cover with those skills.

Iseul gets the seaweed snacks next. She looks at Jisu, then Lily. Lily takes a whiff of the perfume and gags.

SEUL These are from Jisu, aren’t they?

JISU They could be. Or not. I don’t know.

But aren’t you the gift-giver, Ms. Nam?

SEUL Ok. Well, I know the perfume isn’t Lily. She wouldn’t gift something she wouldn’t be able to borrow.

LILY You-you don’t know that!

MARI We do. You treated me to ice cream the other day and ate a quarter of my sundae.

JANGMI Yeah! And that time you bought a sweater for Chaeri but wore it before her.

It seems Lily’s in a tight spot now ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

RMLN all murmur in agreement. Lily rolls her eyes as Iseul scans over the last two presents. She picks up the movie tickets to the Joker film.

SEUL Chaeri doesn’t like watching movies all that much so these must be either Jisu’s or Lily’s. Lily loves darker films so that must be hers.

LILY *handing over 5 000 won, gasping* Wow, eonni, so smart, and pretty, and talented, and tall—

JISU Where’s the other 5 000?

LILY Jisu! I wouldn’t’ve told on you and we could’ve both saved! *hands over the other 5K*

Jisu stops to think, realising the chance she just lost and screams in agony.

MARI Hey now. Let’s play fair everyone.

SEUL You’re only saying that because I guessed yours too quickly.

Mari gets up and presumably goes to fight Iseul. The camera cuts and we see them again, now calm and with Mari now far from Iseul.

Nothing bad happened, right guys?

SEUL The snacks have to be Chaeri’s. She doesn’t understand perfume well enough to know what I like. Jisu got me the perfume.

JANGMI Iseul I think she’ll be watching this.

LILY Nah, Chameleons will tell her she was badmouthed first.

That sounds like her. We hope Chameleons don’t spoil to her.

PD Congratulations, Iseul! You got it all right.

Iseul squeals as staff come in singing ‘Happy Birthday’, cake in hand. The girls join in and gather around Iseul as she makes her wish and blows out her candles.
