been thinking WAY too much about this man recently, looks like I just got another hyperfixation about to last a while

Heavy dad energy, has a large collection of horrendous dad jokes that he tends to pull out at any time, and nobody is safe.

Tries to DIY everything, has a workshop of his own situated inside his garage.

Type of guy to sleep till the afternoon and not move a muscle, unless he absolutely has to wake up earlier.

Love language is both physical touch and gift-giving; he’ll often go and buy small gifts for his friends at any time, and often takes them out for food, always insisting on paying every time.

Gives the best hugs, teddy bear kinda energy. Will always embrace a friend after meeting them.

Speaks fluent Italian and English.

Absolutely amazing cook. Absolutely loves cooking for his friends and family; if you come over to his house you’re getting fed before you leave and with stuff to take home too.

Has a tattoo of an anchor on his upper right arm.

Likes the bitter taste of herbs, will often chew on a basil or an oregano leaf while he’s cooking.

Loves black coffee and herbal teas, especially chamomile. Has an espresso machine of his own, and always makes coffee in the morning for himself.

Really likes the smell of rose and lavender; it was the perfume a lot of his family wore inside his childhood home, and he often gets it now and then to remind him a little bit of home.

Attempts to teach Italian snippets to all his close friends, even just the basics

Loves sunsets and will often go outside to the porch with a hot drink to watch the sun go down

Favourite color is forest greens and shades of orange

Parker is huge on his cooking, and will more often than not bring like six different dishes to any shared meal, even if it’s just friends visiting. He isn’t the best baker, but he’s really good at cannolis and bombolonis, and is great at most traditional Italian foods. He had to cook at least one night a week growing up, which taught him how to cook and how to cook well, his aunties and family members around him constantly to show him what to do.

Likes to listen to music while he cooks.

Has a collection of herbs on the kitchen windowsill, and a garden for cooking purposes that his Nonna taught him to maintain.

Favourite dishes to make is focaccia, a type of bread typically served with olive oil and different toppings, and ossobuco, a slow-cooked veal that’s typically very tender when fully cooked.

All his recipes were passed down from his Nonna, kept in a well-maintained book at the top of his shelf.

Decorates his home very well, prefers mood lighting over the harsh overhead lights

Knows simple sleight of hand, nothing too complex, just small tricks he learned to impress people. Plays a lot of card & board games. Very competitive.

Nickelback fan, loves rock in general

Likes to be around people, loves inviting friends to his place and often gathers them to bonfires and beer. At least every weekend there’s a gathering of some sort because he loves to be around people, but he doesn’t always get the chance.

Doesn’t let anyone touch the aux while he’s driving, if he’s driving it’s his playlist and nobody can argue differently.

Resident Evil Headcanon: Claire is a slob and a menace

And I say that with all the love in my heart. Claire Redfield is a goblincore, Live, Cackle, Crime, opossum-coded menace to society.

I know a lot of people tend to view Claire as a very put-together, kindness-first kind of character, which is understandable considering her empathetic nature and chosen career in humanitarian aid, but I feel like people forget: Claire Redfield was raised by Chris. Chris Redfield is a man who, canonically, is a slob who spends his free time smoking and solving problems with his fists, while his work is heading a team to hunt down and destroy literal monsters. I’m not even sure Chris knows what a vegetable is.

The two options for Chris and Claire’s dynamic pre-canon are either Claire taking on a mothering role to her big brother early on because she loses patience with his disinterest in home ec. OR Claire dutifully copying Chris’s every move and growing to love his unconventional “parenting” methods like frozen dinners in front of the TV and wearing swimsuits as clothes because they forgot to go to the laundromat that week. And considering how much Claire idolizes her big brother in RE2? Yeah, I have a pretty good idea of where she falls on that one.

Claire got given her first drink before she was 15. She listens almost exclusively to classic rock and metal music. Claire actively scared the guys in her middle and high schools and only started really dating in college because she was able to find guys who were into her loud, brash, give-no-fucks demeanor.

Claire’s home is always in some state of chaos and there’s almost always dirty dishes in the sink. If she’s out of the country she’s rotating the same three shirts and two pairs of pants until she gets home (don’t ask about her underwear. You don’t want to know. It’s fine). Almost every sweater and t-shirt she owns either has a stain or a hole in it and she does not care.

Claire can drink both Leon and Chris under the table any time, anywhere. She taught Leon how to ride and they street race when they have the free time. She owns multiple bikes and is a common sight at classic car meets to hunt for any parts she’s missing for whichever one she’s working on at the time.

Claire Redfield is loud and brash and grungy and I’m tired of pretending like she’s not.

playing through RE: Revelations 1 and by god have I fallen in love with it so fast.

Just finished the second chapter, and I definitely consider it one of my favourites so far. The ambience and the soundtrack are made SO well, and I love the subtle rocking of the ship as you walk through it. Pair that with the darker rooms where you can barely see anything without your flashlight, which in itself illuminates a short area, along with the enemy designs (which arguably did startle me at first because i didn't expect it), and it has such a tense environment I love.

As well as making your way back with the key, the enemies hide behind the doors and grab you when you walk in and I am not ashamed to say I did panic a bit when I entered the first door and got grabbed by one of them. Didn't know it was there, they seem to be quiet as hell or I just don't have my sound up.

Overall I absolutely adore it . . Parker's great and I love his character so far
