i genuinely cannot even think of the amount of physical anguish zeke is in without feeling ill. every time i look at an image of him with all his scars and his malnourishment and everything else i feel sick. look at him. how could you do this. how can one bear this endless but ever growing pain. more parts of you missing each day and grinded into nothing between the jaws of God. how he feels not just pain but almost everything more intensely than everyone else but it’s being reduced to nothing but pain by gortash. pain is every second of his life.

and then there’s the mental anguish. i think the wild and the heart of life itself stopping to beat is supposed to be endlessly horrifying but god. it’s so hard sometimes. i make jokes about it but. being the machine’s meal it gnashes between its turning cogs until nothing remains is such a terrible fate. and it is fate because it is too late before zeke is even born. all the pain and countless deaths before that were aspects of the wild yes but when zeke’s gone, when all his flesh is devoured and his blood is drained, it’s truly over. father and son/creator and creation in the god and unwilling ultimate martyr way. the butcher’s most prized pig. the prime cut of meat. i make fun of him a lot but he is so so strong.

Like the oblivion movie starring Tom cruise was such an interesting story. It's set in the future, decades after the present. The world has been flooded or turned into desert (depending on where you're looking), and it's been abandoned by humanity except for a handful of operatives still on the ground. Tom cruise and another lady are a two person team running ground support to maintenance drones that are doing work gathering intel on how planet earth is doing, keeping an eye out for hostile aliens. They report back to a blonde woman named Sally who has a southern accent and lives on a space station orbiting earth. They video call her every day. Tom cruise flies his ship all over on Sally's orders, while his teammate stays behind to help give support via computers and stuff. Together they work within a certain region, because going past their designated plot of land puts them at risk of radiation poisoning, from all the bombs and stuff in the past. Tom and his teammate slash wife spend time talking about how it's only a few more weeks until they're moving to the big space station in the sky.

Except it turns out that Sally isn't real. It turns out that Tom Cruise has memories from before earth was damaged, it turns out he was an astronaut with a different wife (who comes back to earth in a crashing stasis pod). There isn't actually any radiation, that was a lie. It turns out the station orbiting earth is actually sending the drones down to strip earth of its resources - and that humans aren't gone from the earth's surface at all, they've just gotten good at hiding. And also tom cruise is cloned over and over and there's at least 70 clones of him running around doing stuff. It's wild and the drones are scaryyyyy omg how does Tom cruise's character handle them

This might sound stupid, but have you ever considered giving some of the characters in your drawings imperfect teeth? I sorta have headcannons that Mina has a gap between her front teeth and that Denki has a chipped tooth! I also love how you give Bakugou gauged earrings in your art-style in reference to the Fantasy AU and was wondering what types of specific headcannons you have in your art!

Some neat ones I noticed were:

Bakugou with faint moles on his face and neck

Ochako having orange ombre on the longer strands of hair (My personal fav)

Hawks having claw-like fingernails (and painted black too!)

Mirko having piercings on her ear

Todoroki has small strands of the opposite hair colour on the wrong side (Like strands of white on the red side and vise-versa)

Toga having pointed ears! (Another fave)

I probably missed some, but those were just cool details I noticed in your art! <3

i usually tend to give midoriya a slight gap between his front teeth, tho i suppose i could stand to make it more prominent. i kinda draw it the same way cody from total drama has a gap in his teeth! the most ive done aside from that is give some characters fangs (hawks) or sharper canines (bakugou). i think kaminari having a chipped tooth is actually a cool idea, especially since i had one of my own growing up lol!

aside from what u listed, i like to make mina’s tongue blue solely because it stands out against how pink she is and makes for good contrast

todoroki’s scar has a dripping effect to it since i assume the kettle water poured down his face a bit before his mother could reach him to take care of it

i draw kaminari with freckles because i think it suits him, and ive been thinkin bout giving some light ones to hawks as well

for kirishima i draw three light scars on his face around the bridge of his nose/cheeks, a small reference to his hero costume’s mask placement since i think it would dig into his skin after so much use

i also like to add bakugou’s first war arc scars, as well as explosion marks around his hands from excessive quirk use. and ive been meaning to include scars on his arms to reference the deku vs kacchan fight now that ive gone and rewatched the series!

in canon, touya has very prominent eyelashes when he’s younger, and when he’s older as dabi they’re burned off. but i like to keep them as a slight nudge to who he used to be, even if it doesn’t particularly make sense for them to be there. i just think it’s a nice touch!!

the thing about tumblr updates is like. no social media or tech company ever has cared about improving user experience. they’re businesses and the decisions that get made are to 1. increase the user base and 2. keep eyeballs on the product as much as possible for ad revenue. those things are often at odds with improving ux and at the very least are low priority compared to the path towards infinite growth. elon musk has brought this fact out into the open because of how frank he is about his strategies and how inept he is at accomplishing any of the implicit goals of the industry. but nevertheless these goals are an unsustainable way to make money without doing shit like selling user data, because at the end of the day an infinite user base is not a realistic business model

ig what i’m trying to say is the people running this company don’t care about existing user feedback and never will, they’re too busy chasing a fantasy where free social media sites are profitable

Me going :C @ lisa because I probably won't ever explore my take on her with her canon friends. And I cannot even recommend the story to anyone because it's a cluster hell of a plot held together by too many strings and duck tape that can make it confusing. And a lot of those plot strings had been cut, yet they don't effect the actual story despite their loss being important. One instance? lisa was a punk rocker years before I joined the game, but she was recently changed to what I was introduced to within the recent years- a western equestrian rider who is a quite well known country singer. It's stuff like this that would make other people not well versed in the game go 'huh??'. I love Lisa as she is now, but I also know she disappeared into another dimension as a punk rocker with Douxie's aesthetic, and came back as a country flower LMAO. And I say this out of LOVE in my heart. I love the lore. I love the mystery. But gosh. It shows that this game had shifted through a number of different writers through the years and it isn't a good thing for consistency. What is that in SSO? there is none LOL. I gotta...really sit down one day and at least re-write the basics of it but also UGGGH.

okay so this is a really good idea and not one i've ever explored! I've got a friend who loves the whumper-turned-caretaker dynamic but it's not something that i've written.

oh no, wait, i'm lying aha. one of my whumptober pieces on my AO3 does look at this, with Tony Stark capturing Loki. and Loki is mortal at that point and Tony just manhandles him too hard and oops! he breaks Loki's arm.

AND THEN Tony puts Loki in a magical containment collar to make him harmless except this has very bad consequences. anyway, i won't spoil the ending if u do read it, but YES to this idea aha.

I'm less keen on writing the whole 'sadistic whumper tortures a whumpee "just because"', though idm reading that. but when it's a misguided hero, or a soldier on the wrong side of war, capturing a prisoner and misjudging how sick the prisoner *really* is. like MM yes good shit.

OH (last point i promise lol) and when a vampire captures a human to act as their "blood bank", except they feed too much from the human, or the human is already sick/weakened, that's *kisses fingers* so nice. cus then you get the double whump of the vampire being starving bc they can't feed and the human feeling like absolute shit AND being afraid that the vampire will just suck them dry any minute.
