SUMMARY

XVII. (2.09) — While Flint's ship waits in the Charles Town harbour, Vane overtakes the ship. However, Billy remains faithful to Flint's cause, and Silver remains on board, hiding with a few of the survivors. In Nassau, the remaining traitors that were not captured join forces to take Eleanor as hostage. They deliver her to the British Navy so that they can receive their ten full pardons for their actions as pirates. Flint prepares to accept the conditions of Peter Ashe, the Carolina governor, which are to expose his whole story to London and allow an inspection of the pirate port of Nassau. However, Miranda comes to the realization that it was Peter who betrayed them so many years ago. She retracts her deal with the governor and demands that Peter be hanged for his betrayal, leading to Peter's guards capturing Flint and killing Miranda. Flint's trial is later announced. Upon hearing the news of Flint's upcoming trial, Vane suggests an alliance with Billy to save Flint.

XXXII. (4.04) — The pirates have taken over Nassau as news of Captain Berringer's death reaches Rogers who is en route back to Nassau. 42 captives from Teach's crew are being transported to Port Royal, but have plans of taking control over the ship. Billy and Silver have words as they discuss the plans for Nassau going forward. Madi tries to talk the former slaves of the Uphill plantation into joining the pirates, but they have reason to worry as a new threat to their success is born.

Angel: The Series: 5.22 Not Fade Away

In the series finale, Angel reveals that his questionable moral behavior has been part of a bigger plan: to destroy The Circle of the Black Thorn and show the Senior Partners that the power of good can still make a difference. Wesley struggles with helping Illyria adapt to the world, scolding her for her attempts to take on Fred's form. As Gunn continues his quest of self-discovery, Lorne becomes more aware of the lack of happiness in the world. Harmony attempts to seduce Marcus Hamilton for information, Lindsey makes an important decision regarding his alliance, and Eve continues to deal with being mortal. As Spike comes closer to understanding the nature of heroism, Angel pays a visit to the one person he truly loves. On Angel's bidding, the gang goes out and spends each day as if it were their last...

The main characters spend the episode doing what they want to do most, in what may well be their last day on Earth. There's so much great full-circle/character stuff, so many emotional moments, and then there's the actual event, the Apocalypse, the reckoning the season, the show built up to. And they only show part of it. The episode doesn't end after the big battle, it ends right before it. And that sounds infuriating, but it's such a great way to end a show that's all about fighting the Good Fight and never stopping to, a show about how there never comes a singular point where you've achieved redemption because it's a continuous process, becoming better day by day, a show on people who never give up and keep going even in the face of Hell itself. It's the best finale I could think of. Also, "Would you like me to lie to you now?" makes me cry no matter how many times I rewatch it.

Emma gets poisoned after cutting her finger on some coral and she begins to turn into a white scaled monster. Meanwhile Charlotte thinks Cleo is trying to break her and Lewis apart.

hiiiiii nonie! sorry this has been in my asks for a bit but i've been quite busy and wanted to give it some proper attention.

a lot of these moments are also found in this post (and then some) but i'll rank em here too <3

their hug after the ot winner in r1g2 of the 2022 playoffs. the way everyone goes off the bench but they both immediately just turn to each other. the way nate pushes into lehky to hug him and stumbles with the force of it. the way they bonk heads. UGH. it's what made sirens in my brain go off and sparked me writing a 45k fic for them (my first time writing in years and years). it's just soooooooooo goddamn intimate i'm still obsessed with it.

in a similar vein, their celly after lehky's OT winner to send them to the cup final. what possessed nathan to lift lehky up like that and shove his face into his chest i'll never know but i'm forever grateful. i don't have gif or vid of it handy but they basically just lie on the ice for a bit after they fall together lol.

this is a deep cut but nate went absolutely feral insane after a hit on lehky during a preseason game last season and it lives in my head rent free. there isn't a lot of clips of it cause it was a PRESEASON game but i think of it often.

like. the entirety of the finland trip last season. but i gotta highlight finnish king...like nate so rarely posts on insta but he felt the need to post a stupid photo of lehky and their goddamn coffee date. like. okayyyyy.

and the ofc the video of nate looking absolutely goddamn SMITTEN with lehky during the sauna time with the boys.

SUMMARY

XVI. (2.08) — Billy's trap to eliminate the traitors of the pirate crew succeeds, and Flint ends up winning against Hornigold in the election for the captaincy. After the election and its results against him, Hornigold departs from Nassau. Flint also leaves Nassau, but instead sails to Carolina to meet with the governor there in regards to his daughter; Carolina is a place where pirates are believed to be most evil and the attitude towards them is extremely hostile. John Silver discusses the plan for the retrieval of the unguarded Spanish gold with Jack Rackham and his crew. Mrs. Mapleton reveals to Eleanor the plan to retrieve the gold, and they both agree that the plan goes against the dream that they share for Nassau, to transform the pirate town into a legitimate community.

XXXV. (4.07) — Freed slaves from all over New Providence gather at the hidden village of the Maroons as they plan how to take control of Nassau. Governor Rogers finds out that Eleanor was pregnant before she died. Jack and crew head to Philadelphia to enlist the help of Eleanor's grandfather, who doesn't react to their news as anticipated. Billy tries to get Rogers to split up Flint and Silver as a strategy for him to expel the pirates. Rogers talks to Madi, who is apparently not dead.

With Christmas around the corner, Emu runs against time to defeat the Salty Bugster again and save another patient, while Kiriya's investigation leads him closer to the truth, but his life is in danger when he faces Kuroto's new power.

You see the episode title and the first half of the episode and you're like oh cute what a fun and happy christmas episode! the characters are singing and dancing! and then by the end of it one of the major characters is murdered on screen.

It's got everything; a family learns the meaning of Christmas, a character named Poppy Pipopapo sings "Jingle Bells" except every syllable is replaced with a "P" sound, they introduce my funny gamer girl Nico Saiba, and a character dies in the arms of the protagonist in the rain as he cries :)

SUMMARY

II. (1.02) — After Captain Flint reveals Singleton as the thief in front of his crew, he has Gates convince Billy, who knows the truth about his captain, that this is for the good of the crew. Meanwhile, Silver and Max are forced to hide in the brothel when they put themselves in danger as Captain Vane and his partners, Jack Rackham and Anne Bonny, are determined to get a hold of the missing page in the hunt for the Spanish galleon, Urca de Lima. Also, Eleanor is given an ultimatum by Max and has to decide between wealth or love.

XXVIII. (3.10) — As Flint buries the treasure, he is questioned by Silver about his true reasons for the war against the British and the tactics for the upcoming battle on the island. On the day of the attack, the British and Hornigold manage to take the beach with superior firepower, forcing Flint and his men to retreat. Meanwhile, Rackham and Anne unite with Blackbeard's fleet, who seeks revenge for the death of Charles Vane. In Nassau, Eleanor is confronted by an anonymous message, which demands the remains of Charles Vane as well as the gibbet be removed from the market square. Rogers recovers and reassures Eleanor of his support in overcoming her enemies. Silver sends Dobbs to the beach to kill Hornigold. In a later battle, Hornigold shoots Dobbs. Hornigold is eventually killed by Flint. In Nassau, a pardoned pirate captain is murdered by Billy, as there was no reaction to the message with the black spot. With the help of Anne and Rackham, Blackbeard's fleet manages to force the British fleet to retreat. In Nassau, Billy uses the name "Long John Silver" to create a claim of responsibility for the murder.
