Going Underground - 25 - Running Out Of Time

"Come on, come on, come on…" I whisper, almost begging to no one in particular for the red lights to change to green. I was supposed to pick up Tegan to go to an art show almost an hour ago, but the whole "spend a day at the office with dad" didn't go my way. After a rather nasty fight with Rob, a boring meeting, a couple of coffees, and mostly me trying to look interested in whatever my dad was telling me, I realized how futile my efforts were. It was hard to find a good excuse that allowed me to leave the office without my dad being suspicious. As I approach the Cultural Center, I begin to feel more and more anxious. I fear that Tegan may not be there, or worse, that she's angry with me for being so late. I don't want her to think that I don't care or that I don't want to go. Finally, after what seemed like hours in traffic, I arrive. I turn around the corner and start to park the car. From the corner of my eye, I immediately see Tegan. She's sitting on the stairs of the entryway, and the familiar feeling of excitement in my stomach makes it appearance.

// No lie, the first ship that popped up in my mind that was a serious NOTP for me was Quincest (Uryu x Ryuken), and it's not just because it's a literal incest ship. Main reason is the concept itself; you're taking Ryuken, a POS father who wanted next to nothing with Uryu to where he left him during most of, if not all of the latter's childhood, and treat him like a cold slab of meat in regards of the Quincies (correct me if I'm wrong, but Uryu's the last of their kind so caring for and treating him with respect is kinda like a top priority), and you're pairing him with the same son whom not only had to grow up without his parents (his mother was dead most of his life), but again, has had the most distant of bad relationships with his own dad.

Surprise, Quindom! I know it’s been two years since I’ve posted anything with this story, and I’m sorry for that. Hi there! I’ve been a fan of Tegan and Sara for just a little over a year and I have been casually checking everyone’s accounts in the quincest fandoms for a while. I recently have mostly been on twitter on the “non quincest side” and it’s been god awful. This part of the fandom has been surprisingly very welcoming! Everyone seems to work together and help everyone out and isn’t really judge mental. I’m going to post here and there, but I want to also make sure I’m okay to join the quincest side. Also my name is R and I’m 19! I’m obviously keeping my identity safe but I hope to befriend some of you!
