Honestly? My primary source of notes nowadays is none at all. Occasionally (like, very occasionally), I'll sell the materials/clothing I got from doing my dailies on the Open Marketplace. Flowery/nature-y items, especially, can go for a lot. Maybe you might have some 1kn-lowest-price flower headpiece in your inventory right now!

Unlocking the scribe/apothecary professions and making Love Letters or Catmint Tea respectively is also a reliable notes-maker, especially nearing big important dates/holidays both on Not-Earth and irl. Spring 1, Year 10 and the recentish Feb 29th are some examples of this.

If I have some more free time though, I tend to go Adventuring! While your big ticket item here are business cards (they tend to go for 4kn nowadays, which is a bit of a far cry from the 6kn I remembered from last year, haha), but quickselling any superfluous trinkets/materials you gain from completing rounds of Heart of the Woods is also a great way to make notes. Every little bit counts there! I have yet to do this method yet, but I know of people who also get floor-price cats from the Cat Recruitment Board (looks like they are hovering around 400n right now) and raise them up to Lv 4, with a 3-cat adventuring party, for all of their denim traveller's packs, and then see them off to the city. Opening these packs is also the most reliable free way to get essence fragments too!

players quickselling their retired items for way too low, assumingly to use this SS in the new shop. if someone doesnt consume the retired item, they will try to sell it. they wont be able too bc the price they want would be fair for the item and 1. they bought it for much lower and trades are kept track of, 2. nobody has the fucking ss for the item because they spent it in the shop. prices will have to keep being lowered to accommodate for the less ss in the system rn. the super megarich playeds arent going to buy from this, if they do it doesnt even matter, but when the 200-10m players do, i find that theyre the most active economy stimulus. this ss going into the literal void is such a backwards idea that i dont know how they thought it was good. 10m is honestly relatively "easy" to get. you can grind for that much in about a month by selling to bc collectors and general pawning and such. 50? no. thats an entire goal. i understand thats the idea, but who fuckin cares if the price is stable? and that it doesnt retire? does it actually matter? no!! because the money sink isnt going back into the economy!! people will have less ss to spend, prices will lower, and nobody will be able to afford older retireds bc most rich players will hold firm on their big items prices.

2 Week plan

In my proposal I set out to make a environment scene and I have gotten quite far with the idea and don't think that I am going to need to change much to make game more viable

I think that my idea is going to be completable as I have the main back bones I might alter things a little bit like reducing the central point down to what I currently have.

The game must have a environment that the character can walk around and explore in a more cinematic way this I sort of already have. I don't need to pull my target down much or at all. I know what i need to add and to change to make my game better

what I need to do make my game be in a MVP state

I need to adjust the lighting to make game look better

I need to add more foliage/Rocks to make the environment better

I need to get a day and knight cycle in the game

It now looks like this I have changed a few setting in game and changed the colour of the light and changed the fog drop of to be less intense and not be so in your face.

A little bit of modifying later I have found a way of improving the light rays and think I am going to stick with it I have changed some settings that now allow the light to pierce the trees a lot more and i have played with some post possessing effects to give the camera that extra level of immersion like lenses flare.

I am now in the process of adding in some finer details like the boulders i would like to get some things of quixel bridge to add more detail

I have added more foliage to make the game look more like a forest/jungle and it is now starting to come together and with the light shafts

I have also added rock and I have explored making rocks but that would take to long so I have lowered my scope and download the mesh and put a texture that made to be tree bark over it it make it look like I has been grown over. I plan to add more things but for that I will use quicksel bridge as that is going to make the process a lot quicker and I can focus on immersion.
