I watched the first Trolls Funfair Surprise short, where Queen Poppy sings the song, Stronger by Kelly Clarkson, which inspired me to make my trollsona, Queen Rose in her Funfair Surprise look, which has a tropical feel and some fruity references.

Queen Rose ditches her tiara with an orange hairbow and wears her hair in a flipped up half-ponytail, which looked like the compiled pulp of bananas with a green crown-shaped cuff that looked like the leaves of a pineapple. She wears a yellow heart crop top, with the heart looking like two carabao mangos (local mangos from the Philippines, which is known as the sweetest mango in the world by the 1995 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records) interlocking with each other, forming a heart. She matches the top with a colorful skort, which has two shades of yellow (pineapple and mango), orange, green and pink (guava) to match her colorful highlights. She keeps her golden earrings and bangles but her choker is orange like her hairbow. To finish off her look, she sports a golden henna tattoo in a shape of the sun from the Philippine flag on her left shoulder.

Birthday Present for @artstar1997 Her Dreamworks trollsona Queen Rose of the Platinum Tribe. She looks like Barbie, sounds like H.E.R. and fights like Kim Possible.

Platinum Trolls are the alpha troll species, so Rose is queen not just of her tribe but of all the tribes. In lieu of a string the Platinum trolls have the Crown of Harmonies, which glows when bestowed on the rightful ruler. And instead of being dedicated to one type of music, she loves all types of music.

My drawing style doesn’t hold a candle to @artstar1997 but I hope you love it anyway.

Rosetta in the Snack Pack Mysteries had changed drastically for the better, which started to match her role as “The Diva” of the Snack Pack. The remaining chemicals that were stuck in her hair were finally gone, resulting in her hair becoming platinum blonde because it was black. A wisp of Queen Barb’s ultimate power chord spell that hit her had a permanent effect in her body, that she started to look like a real life Barbie doll.

Rose usually dresses fashionable but in the first two books, she wears baggy but cute sweaters, jackets, and fur coats because of being shy about herself that Satin and Chenille would use her as their mannequin when designing outfits on her to boost her confidence. After her heartbreak over the breakup with Lownote Jones, who started dating a guy (guess who?), it wasn’t just her appearance that changed, she became more confident about herself and started wearing attractive outfits that accentuate her new curves. She still wears crop tops, fur jackets, and boots but her dress sense is changed to revealing barbiecore outfits that she starts resembling a real life Barbie. John Dory, her ex, Chaz, and the other single guys started chasing after her due to becoming single again but those advances always end up with them getting punched or beaten by her. Rose still keeps her new fashion sense, even after she reveals her betrothal to Pibby when she and the band finished performing the cover of Barbie Girl by Aqua in their BroZone Reunion Tour and started a relationship with him.

I was influenced by superheroes at the young age. The first one I was inspired by was DC because I used to watch the old Batman animated series, also the Justice League animated series. Marvel also got into my inspiration manifestation later when I watched Avengers with my family and I usually root for the good guys, especially Thor, who is a total hunk. These references made me think of making a Trolls Superhero AU, which is composed of OCs and Canon characters. Now, let’s meet the terrific trio themselves, Queen Rose as Captain Sterling, Queen Poppy as Rainbow Girl, and Branch as the mysterious Psionyx.

I’m planning to make a team for them called the Justice Brigade, which will serve as the leading team for all the super teams because it is based on the main Justice League but I dunno who can I pick for their team. As for Guy Diamond and Meadow Sprigg’s team, the Sylvan Guardians (composed of them, along with Tiny Diamond, Holly Darlin’, Val Thundershock, and Lownote Jones), they’ll retain their animal theme.
