( ellie bamber, 23, cis female, she/her ) RHIANNON 'RHIA' ANDREWS has been living in Point Place for TWENTY THREE YEARS. Their favorite song is KILLER QUEEN BY QUEEN. They’re currently up to WORKING AT THE RECORD STORE, but they’d rather be ATTENDING CONCERTS. First impressions usually stick around here, and others describe them as EASY GOING, CHARISMATIC AND 'WILD'. Stick around to get to know the real them. ( sky, 21, GMT-3, she/her )
Tumblr media
☆ born to carefree, and self-proclaimed hippies during the 60s, parents -- rhiannon was given a childhood that would set her up for what the rest of her life would be like. david & johanna instilled the basical morals & values that you'd teach your child if you wanted them to grow up into a decent person, but apart from that? they didn't believe or rules. or limitations. there was absolutely no pressure from either of them to go into a specific path. she didn't even have a curfew. they wanted her to have fun. enjoy life. and discover herself.
☆ this sounds cool, right? the other kids sure thought so! they always complained about how jealouss they were of her. and it is, in a way. it's something rhia talks about fondly, says how it made such an independent person out of her. how it made her 'free'. but, in the back of her mind, it's always nagged her. she wishes they'd given her some structure, and acted like parents instead of friends -- it bordered on neglect, at times, and made her feel like they didn't really care about her.
☆ in the end, it didn't really matter. because, whatever she didn't get at home, she got outside of it. she was the type of girl to have a lot of friends, back at school. popular, but kind. kind, but not boring. that sort of thing. she got along with all sorts of groups of people, not sticking to one -- mostly because she changed her personality around to suit whoever she was around with. that way, they'd find her cool. and, that way, she'd have attention on her. after all, why be yourself when you could play along with people's dreams and ensure their love?
☆ this is a behaviour she carried into adulthood. old habits die hard. she doesn't even know who 'herself' is, anymore.
☆ a little bit before her senior year of high school, she picked up at job at grooves, the record store. she was starting to think long term, so she figured she'd start saving up money /now/. it was easy enough. cashier. say hi, learn to work the register, wrap up the product -- and just hang out by herself, when no one was around. a good experience, to set her up.
☆ in fact, it was so good she grew to love it! she offered to close the store more often than not, and work late shifts. she liked to sit on the floor, and go through the records. use the jukebox to listen to them for free, because employee's benefit (not really, her manager wasn't aware, but she reckons he didn't care). she discovered a bunch of bands that way, and had a rerun of a few that her parents used to play in the living room when she was a kid.
☆ suffice to say, the money she'd been saving up ended up going to concert tickets. if she liked it enough, she just HAD to go and see them live! whenever they showed up in town, anyways. she wasn't invested enough to travel yet. but, when she was, she took rides with other in vans with people who were going to the same location as her.
☆ she graduated, and decided she was happy enough with her job -- happy enough to stay in it, and not pursue further education. she'd been there long enough for the manager to be fond of her, and allow her to get away with some stuff. that, and she wanted to devote herself to music. not participate in it, per se, but support those who did. live it. dance to it all night. if that were a career, she'd be employee of the month!
☆ her parents helped her with enough money to buy herself a tiny apartment, and bid her goodbye (it didn't feel like she was living there anymore, anyways, so not much changed). not too expensive, but not completely cheap. she was able to keep up with rent, and support her 2 cats (who started off hiding, but then were just accepted by the landlord because it'd been too long by the time he found them).
☆ she's known around the world of music just by how often you can find her in the audience, and backstage (she almost always has a pass around her neck). it's reached a point where she gets tickets for free, sometimes, and she's been seen numerous times in magazines just standing in the background chatting with band members. her flashy, glittery makeup, COLORFUL clothes (feather boas, mini skirts, platform boots, flowy dresses) & red hair don't allow her to go unnoticed -- but no one really knows who she is. she's been mentioned, at most, as 'a mystery groupie'.

yuil friends au
all the AYUMI HAMASAKI 25th anniversary celebration got yuta and taeil super excited, they watched variety shows abt it and went to the spots where the big ads were to take pics, they love to celebrate their fav artist career.
it was a blood war but they secured the first row tickets for her concert. as a concert ritual they decided to do “ayumi night” every night till the concert day, marathoning all her mvs, karaoke, recreating her some of her famous photoshoot for magazines and albums cover, trivia game abt her carrear, battle music where they choose her best song for a topic (exemple: best summer beach slut in a bikini song and they have to decide which song fits the theme better).
they love each other and their friendship, they aren’t afraid of been who they are when they are together, always feeling the best version of themselves, taeil trust yuta and yuta trust taeil with their self being. and they always have a lot of fun doing things both of they love.
so the concert day finally came, they wanted to do everything together so they had breakfast, went shopping, feeling a good anxiety all day through. for the outfit they decided to honor ayumi style, so each one chose their favorite outfit for their fav album.
yuta wanted to wear party queen cover outfit but taeil remembered him that only panties and a bra for a concert wasn’t the best idea so he honored rock’n roll circus. yuta made their outfits, a mini mini mini shorts and tank top with disco ball material for him, one of the arm covered with a sequin long sleeve like a glove and leather heel boots, his makeup was just like ayumi on the cover.
taeil decided to honor duty, so his look was a cheetah look, yuta said he was giving furry vibes but he still loved it. a cheetah printed mini mini skirt and a super tight top with some shining cheap jewels glued on the fabric, a tail sewn on the skirt, and cheetah ears made with jewels, his makeup just as ayumi in the cover, red lips and a small heart above the eyes.
they are hot and sexy ready to have a lot of fun, dancing and singing to ayumi best hits!

Queen + Adam Lambert Concert 13/07/2022
Hello my beauties !!
Yes, it took a bit of time, but here I am to share with you my Queen + Adam Lambert concert experience !! The concert I attended was on the 13th of July 2022, in Paris. The place was the Accor Hotel Arena. And it was amazing. You can find some pics I’ve also shared here (X) & (X)
It was my real first concert, and after almost three years of waiting, since the concert was postponed twice because of the bloody pandemic, it eventually happened. For real.
Despite a few people telling us it would be hard to get there by car, given the traffic on the Parisian ring road, we went with our car anyways. Given work and our responsibilities, it was only a one-day thing, we didn’t book a hotel or anything. The arena’s door, as well as the parking’s doors, would open at 6pm and we were right on time. There were renovation works around the arena, so we had to bypass a few buildings to eventually find our entry. We had been lucky -and quick enough- to have orchestra located tickets.
We stopped at the shop, cause yes, despite the high prices, we needed a lil souvenir for our mom. Another stop to get a drink since ours weren’t allowed in the arena for security reasons and we got into the belly of the beast. It was about 1 hour and a half before the show. The arena wasn’t really peopley, since the audience was still arriving. Lovely hostesses to guide us to our seats and also many security men….
Cause yes, in Paris’ Arena, despite this being an actual rock and roll concert, we were seated. Brian complained about it in a post. Unfortunately in France in 2013, there had been terrorists attacks during a concert and from now on, there are many rules to protect everyone. I’m not blaming anyone on this one. During the show, we eventually got up and danced a bit, trying our best to show the musicians we were having a blast. Yet, every time someone was trying to get closer to the stage, even just to take a lil pic, people were asked to get back to there seats. I’m not here to tell this was right or wrong. It was how it was, and honestly, within the audience, everyone behaved super well, not pushing anyone, trying to let those on the back see as well. For once, French people showed how it was to be polite lol, even if I spotted many nationalities, such as Japanese (the gal in our raw was so cute, she was so overwhelmed, crying a damn lot), Dutch, German, Spanish….
There was also this couple, and they were awesome. The man was dressed like Freddie during the Wembley concerts and the woman was also dressed as Freddie, but she was wearing a tiny leather short with a leather top and a leather hat and even a mustache. It was cheap, but so well done. Adam even spotted them in the audience and honestly, they totally deserved it. they were looking so great.
As we were waiting for 8pm to arrive, we could see the arena getting more and more crowdy, people clapping their hands already, everyone smiling, well some behind their masks lol, everyone already vibing hard.
And all of a sudden, the lights were off and soon, innuendo started to play, with amazing light effects behind the wonderful queen screen that was lower on the stage. I swear every time I hear innuendo now, I have shivers down my spine and I recall this amazing moment, as I was crying ahah lol
The concert lasted for about two hours and a half, with the following songs :
 ·       Innuendo
·       Now I'm Here
·       Seven Seas of Rhye
·       Hammer to Fall
·       Somebody to Love
·       Killer Queen
·       Don't Stop Me Now
·       In the Lap of the Gods... Revisited
·       I'm in Love With My Car
·       Bicycle Race
·       Fat Bottomed Girls
·       Another One Bites the Dust
·       I Want It All
·       Love of My Life
·       '39
·       These Are the Days of Our Lives
·       Crazy Little Thing Called Love
·       Under Pressure
·       A Kind of Magic
·       I Want to Break Free
·       You Take My Breath Away
·       Who Wants to Live Forever
·       Guitar Solo
·       Tie Your Mother Down
·       The Show Must Go On
·       Radio Ga Ga
·       Bohemian Rhapsody
Encore:
·       Ay‐Oh
·       We Will Rock You
·       We Are the Champions
·       God Save the Queen
I could spend an endless time to tell you about each song, but honestly the whole show was just incredible. Roger Taylor and Brian May of course. Adam Lambert as lead singer, just amazing and giving us so much. Spike Edney and Tyler Warren were so great as well. And a special mention from me to Neil Fairclough. Of course, he’s not Deaky, but I would be honored to be able to play bass guitar like he does. Also, Brian mentioned the roadies, the technicians, all the people we cannot actually see on stage, but who are crucial for the show to actually happen.
I’m repeating myself, but the show was amazing, stunning, incredible from start to end. Funny, emotional, enthusiastic, almost flawless.
I actually read an article from French press the following day about the concert. I thought it was absolutely inappropriate from the journalist to actually give the musicians such nasty feedback. ‘Brian May was not that great on the guitar and was too much acting during Love of my life, dueting with Freddie.’ EXCUSE ME???? Please, get on stage and show us how you play the guitar and how you sing at almost 75. Tell us how it feels to know you’ll never see your best friend again, but try to keep his memory alive for everyone who love him.
‘Roger Taylor seemed uninterested and sang I’m in love with my car too fast’. Excuse me, sunglasses doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to see us. It means his eyes are sensitive. Actually, when he was in front of the stage, we’ve been able to spot how beautiful they are, such an intense blue. Also, this is his song, so fuck off.
‘Adam Lambert was off key during the whole show’, yes, sure, please take a mic and show us how you sing.
‘Spike, here again, as if he’s a member of the band now’. Sorry, yes, Spike didn’t ever play with Freddie and John actually, he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
‘Drummer Tyler Warren is just there to show his torso the young ladies’…. Well, I’m quite speechless on this one…. Tyler was just amazing.
‘Neil Fairclough wasn’t necessary on stage, he just came closer for under pressure, but that’s all’. True, bass guitars are not necessary in Queen songs, John was useless. -Strong face slap-
I’m aware Queen + Adam Lambert isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, that the band Queen with Freddie and John isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. But I think being a journalist means being impartial, objective. And he clearly wasn’t. He deserves to rot in hell seriously, he got me so mad.
Anyways, at the end of the show, I think my hands carried on clapping until my muscles gave up lol all I could hear around us as we were asked to exit the arena, was people saying how much they enjoyed the show, how incredible it was.
We got back to the car and we headed back home, drained lol. In France, 14th of July is national day, so there were fireworks here and there, and even if I’m not a fan of fireworks, it was as if Paris was thanking Queen again for everything and this incredible show.
I didn’t write this all to make people drool or to get anyone jealous or anything. It’s my way to have all this archived somehow, a way to keep all this in memory, in addition to all the pics and videos we now have. And I wanted to share with you how Queen, again, makes me feel alive. It’s also a way to thank them all again for everything they do, every single day, for me.
And thank you if you read it all !!
Stay safe and take care !!! love you all 💖💜

Queen live at Bingley Hall in Stafford, UK - May 6, 1978 (Part -2)

“As I write this I can't believe it is over 24 years since my first ever Queen gig. I was 15 years old and had looked forward to this day ever since I had first heard Bohemian Rhapsody 3 years earlier. Before that song Queen had just been another pop/rock group but BoRhap was the song which for me would set them apart from all others, the song that began my addiction for this band's music - an addiction which continues to this day. I had an hour long bus ride to Stafford and then had to walk to the Bingley Hall which was about 2 miles out of town. I remember while walking a couple of stretched limos passed I couldn't see inside because the windows were blacked out but I knew that it was the members of Queen in those cars and that added to the excitement. I arrived at the venue and joined the queue to get in. I was quite early but there were still a few hundred people in front of me. I bought a Black T shirt with the News of The World robot on the front and the words Spring Tour '78 and a program, both of which I still have although the T shirt is well worn. I was also treated to a young lady a bit drunk I think, taking her T Shirt off and running around half naked, quite sensational for a 15 year old lad. We were let into the hall at about 7pm and I found myself fairly near the front it was all standing and I was quite small so I was pleased to see the stage was set quite high which meant I would have an excellent view. The stage set for this tour was the famous crown and as I looked in awe at its size. I can remember wondering how they would get it to lift off the stage? I can't remember the time but probably an hour or so after I had got into the hall the lights went out and a mechanical whining noise started this was followed very quickly by white lights from the stage, smoke and then the drum beat of We Will Rock You with the song breaking straight into the chorus. Suddenly on a platform in the middle of the front row of the crowd Brian May appeared playing the "Rock You" guitar riff. I remember the feeling of joy and awe, I am sure I must have pinched myself to make sure this was really happening. After an explosion they burst into the fast version of "Rock You" and I saw Freddie for the first time. He was wearing shiney leather trousers, jacket & cap and running around the stage like a madman. It's far too long ago for me to remember every detail of the show but I do remember Freddie toasting us with champagne and at the end of '39 Roger threw his tamborine into the crowd and I had it for a split second before dropping it, I stood no chance really. The songs which I remember most from this gig were the ones which after this tour they were never to play live again: "White Man" & "Prophets Song" both were played either side of Brian's guitar solo and I can clearly remember Freddie performing vocal gymnastics during the middle section of "Prophets Song". The concert ended with a Rock n Roll medley. I remember right at the end of God Save The Queen we all started singing "You'll Never Walk Alone", then the lights were on and it was over. In a lot of respects it seems so long ago but as I am thinking of it now, parts of it are as clear as yesterday.”  - Kevin Ruscoe
“It was fun reading Kevin's story about going to see Queen at Stafford Bingley Hall in 1978. This was the first concert I had ever been to (talk about starting at the top). When the lights went down and Brian started with the dynamic We Will Rock You strumming, I was captured. A couple of years ealier I had purchased Night At The Opera for a girl I fancied at work. I took it to give her and before I could present her with it she showed me that she had just brought the album herself. So much for my Night At The Opera with her! So, I had to go home, take a cold shower, and listen to music. Because it was the only album I had, I played it and played it and I discovered a world I never knew existed. Music up to that point was something that was on the radio. That night seemed to open a new and exciting world me. Not as exciting as I had been planning with her but exciting none the less. My biggest memory of the Stafford concert was when Freddie gets us to sing along with him. Whenever I heard the Live Killers album, it would take me back to that moment at Stafford when I found out what I wanted to do with my life. I write now, plays and musicals, some successful, some not. Thanks Queen for my reason to live.”  - Robert
“Memory's a funny thing... and I wish to heck that I had a better one. How come I can remember useless things I don't want to know, like the winner of the first Big Brother programme, but can't remember stuff which would be far more useful... like how to order beer in any language, my bank account number... or the exact setlist of my first ever rock concert, Queen at Stafford's Bingley Hall in May 1978? Sitting down to type up this review I did a quick search on the net but only came up with a partial setlist which ends about two thirds of the way through. Very frustrating. So really this isn't a review, it can't be, but it's more a hazy recollection of just what it felt like to be a 15-year-old boy at his very first rock show. First off I remember getting the ticket. "Harvey Goldsmith presents A Night With Queen" printed in green (tickets for the Sunday night gig were printed in blue) and the price, L3.50 - laughably cheap now. I can't remember how long it was before the gig that I got the ticket but I do know that the waiting for the day of the gig was unbearable. But eventually that day arrived. Another reason it sticks in my mind is that it was the day of the FA Cup final (Arsenal beat Ipswich Town) and it was the first time I'd not sat glued to the TV from 12pm for all the build-up and the big match itself. If it had been my team, Manchester City, it might have been a different story, but I went up to Bingley Hall mid-afternoon, with a friend called Mark Butters, to join the queue and get as good a standing spot as possible. For those of you who don't know, Bingley Hall is a 10,000-plus capacity shed (a giant cowshed, really), at the County Showground just outside Stafford, and owned by the Staffordshire Agricultural Society. Before the NEC and other purpose-built venues came along, gigs at this venue (which on other occasions were filled with agricultural displays or animal pens) were a big deal, on a par with Wembley Arena and the like. Others to have played there include Abba, Black Sabbath, Genesis, Thin Lizzy, Saxon, Yes and Rush. I remember my Mum being worried sick about me going to the gig. Worried about the size of the crowd. Worried about the music volume. Worried about drugs. She was particularly worried that I was wearing a Thin Lizzy badge on my denim jacket and might get beaten up by some aggressive Queen fan who took exception to any other band. I had to persuade her that rock fans were not quite so tribal as football fans. I also remember standing fairly close to the glass-fronted doors in the queue and the physical, painful ache of anticipation. What came next is a blur - the doors finally being opened, the crush as we made our way through and our tickets were examined, the further crush by the merchandise stall (I got myself a big, square programme, which I've still got). Then I made my way into the crowd, jockeying for a position as near to the front as possible. The gig was all-standing and as showtime got closer the build-up of pressure was astonishing. I was pretty central, but there was constant swaying from left to right, if you lifted your legs you wouldn't fall, just be carried along with this sea of rock fans. Finally the wait is over (yes, I know I've changed tense, it just suits my recollections better). The lights go down. The roar of the crowd is unbelievably loud. But what comes next is even louder. As we strain to see what's going on the air is filled with a mechanical sound, the giant lighting rig (Queen's famed crown set-up) is lifting into the air in a sea of smoke. We Will Rock You explodes into the air. It's all light and smoke and noise... and suddenly there's Brian May, playing that guitar, just feet away from me. The spotlights fall on John Deacon and Roger Taylor behind his gigantic drumkit. Just one thing left now. Freddie. And he appears out of nowhere, Freddie Mercury, prancing and preening around the stage, soaking up the adulation, singing his guts out, clad in shiny black PVC. Call me innocent or naive, but back then I didn't really know about the whole gay/camp fetish thing... he just looked like the superstar he was. For the next two hours or so I am transported to a whole new place. We get the rockers (Brighton Rock, We Are The Champions, Now I'm Here, a pre-release It's Late, I'm In Love With My Car), the pop-orientated stuff (Killer Queen, Spread Your Wings, Somebody To Love, You're My Best Friend) and a superb acoustic section, featuring Love Of My Life and its amazing crowd singalong and '39, during which a string breaks on Brian May's guitar but he carries on regardless, note perfect to my ears. Oh, and we get Bohemian Rhapsody too. It's still only a couple of years old at this point, and although obviously something incredibly special is still making it's way up the ladder to immortality to stand alongside the likes of Stairway To Heaven. Anyway, it's bloody brilliant. Queen leave the stage for the opera section, enabling them to make another grand entrance in lights, smoke and pyrotechnics for the rock-out - a masterstroke! According to Kevin Ruscoe's review of this gig at the superb www.queenconcerts.com site we also got White Man and The Prophet's Song, but I have no recollection of that at all. Nonetheless it still sticks in my mind as one of the greatest gigs I have even seen over the past 28 years, and as one of the greatest events of my life. Like Kevin, I remember singing You'll Never Walk Alone at the end of God Save The Queen, a football terrace salute to a rock phenomenon. What a night!”  - Ian Harvey (April 28, 2006)

werewolferr’s top albums of 2020
i didn’t listen to many albums all the way through this year with going into lockdown and there’s a few albums from this year on my list to listen. but here are the ones i listen to fully and loved :D
1. manic by halsey
Tumblr media
i have to admit on my first listen all the way through, i wasn’t as keen on halsey’s third album as the rest of her albums. but after more listens i love it just as much as badlands and hfk!! it was amazing to see halsey explore her identity as ashley through her music. i also saw her live in glasgow just before we went into lockdown and she was phenomenal!! my top songs from this album are — clementine, killing boys and 929
2. tickets to my downfall by machine gun kelly
Tumblr media
i was so unbelievably excited for this album to drop, colson picked the perfect songs to release as singles but kept some of the best songs for the album release. i loved seeing him switch genres and he did it was such ease you’d think he was making alt/pop punk music since the beginning of his career. crossing my fingers that he does a tour for this album. my top songs are — forget me too (ft halsey), jawbreaker and concert for aliens
3. cheap queen by king princess
Tumblr media
again i was so excited for this album to drop and it was a beautiful debut album. not a single skip on this album, whether i’m listening to it all the way through or they come up on shuffle. will definitely be hard to follow but i think king princess’ next album will be bigger!! my top songs are — hit the back, cheap queen and watching my phone
4. CALM by 5 seconds of summer
Tumblr media
i didn’t actually realise that 5sos were releasing a new album this year until my friend told me and i had the songs on repeat!! im so glad this dropped near the beginning of this year. the songs are bops! my favourite songs are — wildflower, not in the same way and no shame
5. Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones by The Neighbourhood
Tumblr media
the nbhd don’t have a single bad song on their ENTIRE discography so i wasn’t surprised that this album slapped. i’ve been listening to the neighbourhood since 2016 now and i’m so glad they’re getting more recognition now!! i really want to see them live (mainly so i can scream the beach). my top songs are — cherry flavoured, lost in translation and stargazing (ik it’s only on the deluxe version but it still counts ;) )
6. Notes on a Conditional Form by the 1975
Tumblr media
the 1975, i love you. you were my top artist this year and last year (i was in the top 1% of their listeners on spotify lmao), but i was slightly disappointed by this album. i did like it but overall i was disappointed. the good songs on here are so good! absolutely slap, unfortunately there are some that let this album down and they released their best songs as singles. also i saw them live this year and they were fantastic, i got so close to the front as well :D one of the best concerts i’ve been too. my top songs are — people, if you’re too shy (let me know) and guys

Okay, so I know you’ve done heaps of zodiac writings for the boys, but would I be able to request the Queen and Borhap boys with a female Leo reader? Thanks love, and stay safe xx
Hello!! I have had multiple asks for Leo! Reader so for now, I will give you Queen x Leo! Reader and then tag you in the BohRap version later! I hope you are doing well and staying safe too!!!
Rog (Leo):
Both of you are talkers, almost non stop sometimes. Prattling on for hours is a sport, but the topics are engaging and neither one of you neglect anyone else with the both of you too!
He tries to impress you. He will think up of a drum solo, invite you to hear it, and then try to ask you what you think afterward: and it will always be showy and fast and he will give you big eyes and flutter his lashes, fishing for a compliment
You try to make him laugh all the time, sometimes you make silly faces to him across the room and he always bursts into loving laughter.
Things relax as you both stay up late goofing off or doing whatever. Though he enjoys making sexual jokes with you. Some more laced up people might scoff, but they always make you smile
You both sometimes bounce off the walls together A true Dumbass energy and full chaos pair. I mean, you’re both actually smart and can be sophisticated but...ya know.
You show your softer self around Roger too. When he comes back from tour, you cuddle and kiss him and call him “darling” and “baby,” and all sorts of romantic things, and he accepts it.
You defend Rog from the crap talkers! Some guy at Freddie’s party called him the “pretty car fucker” and you walked up, punched him in the nose, and walked back to him cooly. Everyone was aghast and Roger secretly loved it.
Roger always dresses up and smells nice for you and you for him. The smells of your shampoo and his cologne mix together well enough it’s as if you both have this pleasant scent matching your aura, like a little bubble keeping both of you safe.
Tumblr media
  John (Leo):
Spoils you soooo rotten! Name one thing you want: nice clothes? Concert tickets? Ice cream? A trip to the Bahamas! John will make sure you get it!
Senses a kindred spirit in you: this was something he felt the moment he saw you and still keeps with him.
You hype him up when he is feeling down! One time, John was upset after a rather disastrous rehearsal but you got him some sweets and ran a warm bath and told him how much you loved him, he felt so much better after!
Both of you observe drama and laugh about it later. He is quiet but has ears for everything, picking it up. If the band is on its regular shenanigans again, you both will just laugh at them and how ridiculous they can be together.
You love also playing with his hair (in its various forms) and he lets you touch it, rub the strands together, wash it in the bath and shower, and all that. It’s a sweet form of affection.
He also loves to hug you a lot! The moment you and Deaky see each other, you both run slightly into each other’s arms to hug!
Both of you still flirt with each other even after years of being together. You will be checking something in the mirror and then Deaky will come up behind you and say “and who’s that cutie over there?” to your reflection.
Both high romance with each other always: snuggling at night and in the mornings is a must and a candlelit meal every now and then doesn’t hurt either!
Tumblr media
  Brian (Cancer):
Both of you are loyal Friends at first! Often he will help with any studies you have or even just go to a shop to hang out.
Even though you notice Brian sometimes is…extra shy with you. A blushing, timid mess. So you end up asking him out and he nearly hops in his steps afterward
Dates include childhood activities. Both of you play on the swings in a playground or best of all...
COLORING together! Getting a little book and a cheap box of crayons or pencils and filling it out until it either looks like a painting or a mess but neither of you cares either way because of how fun and relaxing it was!
He looks into your eyes, reflecting the color and subtle details of them. He also smiles a lot around you, he acts less melancholy.
He supports your creative projects, your need to make something, and express yourself somehow. He then will look at you sing or play or draw or write or something but with the most admiring expression on his face.
He supports and is sooo loving to you! Often rubbing your shoulders or making sure you’ve eaten.
But you are fun and playful together, you often brush his hair and put it into fun little styles. One time you got two ribbons and somehow tied his hair into two pigtails and you both had a good chuckle at it.

3 and 7 for the song asks
3. three songs you were recently obsessed with
https://open.spotify.com/track/7mdGcrjM78iP3XD5iTeRwL https://open.spotify.com/track/2vaa0nnDnNTlxCh7fCmjsr?si=HAZBeXfzT8i6wVDFFQ0yvg
And the whole Kosmonautilus album by ASP https://open.spotify.com/album/4FxtOWejBf0hA5c29qXqll?si=Lb4Sw_VCSVGy8JRmvy2mYg
7. three songs you didn’t expect to like but eventually loved I can not answer this question truthfully. The closest is eventually the whole discographies of Subway to Sally and Schandmaul, because when I was still in school (6+ years back), kids wearing their band t-shirts where everywhere. And dumbass me was on an Abba-Queen-David Bowie-AC/DC high and literally listening to nothing else. This is one of the very few things today-me would tell past-me to do better. I missed out on so much awesome stuff when it came out. And so many cheap concert and festival tickets ;_;

Tagged by @ropeandcoffee since I paid $500 a ticket once to see Jimmy Buffett from the second row. Found out that the people who are in the expensive front seats are mostly party poopers.
First concert: 1969 - Sammy Davis Jr in the hotel lounge in the Bahamas when I was eight. I begged my Dad to take me. He was everything I had hoped he’d be.
Last concert: The Meat Puppets in Boston (Brighton Music Hall) with the gentleman last year.
Best concert: Rammstein at Madison Square Garden in 2010. It was their first show back in the US after being banned for obscenity years back. I went by myself. And it was completely amazing.
Also, Elvis Costello in Alexander Hall at Princeton for the “Armed Forces” tour. He played, “Green Shirt”, and I was in heaven. The Rubinoos opened. Late 70s.
Also, 1987 - the Ramones at Obsessions (previously known as, “The Final Exam”) in Randolph, New Jersey. My friend and I were the first ones there, so we got spots right against the stage between Johnny and Joey. Amazing time. I only got to see them three times (possibly four; my memory is a bit foggy). I wish I’d seen them more.
Also, Depeche Mode at the NJ Meadowlands in June 1988. The Music for the Masses tour. First time seeing them. And they were fantastic.
Also, I almost forgot. Van Halen (original lineup) at the NJ Meadowlands for the 1984 tour.
Also, Queen at Madison Square Garden in September 1980. Amazing show.
Worst concert: Unfortunately, Cheap Trick opening for Heart in the 90s. The sound for Cheap Trick was absolutely terrible until they played, “The Flame”, their encore. Heart’s sound, of course, was perfect. It was definitely one of those “you don’t want the opening act to upstage the headliner” things. I’ve seen them since then, and they were awesome.
Loudest concert: Boston with Sammy Hagar opening at Jadwin Gym at Princeton. I’m thinking 1978? Fifth row, right in front of the speakers. The show was incredible; my first real rock concert. Fog machine, capes, and explosions. But I knew nothing of ear plugs. I literally could not hear for at least three days after.
Seen the most: I’m not sure with this one. It’s either Diamond Rio (my favourite country band) or Jimmy Buffett (too many times to count). Depeche Mode would come after those.
Most surprising: Liberace with Maureen McGovern at the Garden State Arts Center with my parents. I wasn’t all that impressed with Maureen McGovern (she sang “the Morning After” from the Poseidon Adventure). But Liberace, and his dancing water fountains and his outfits, were fantastic. Mid 70s, I think.
Also, 1991 - Bob Hope, Rosemary Clooney, Ben Vereen, Marie Osmond, and the Rockettes at the Garden State Arts Center. Everyone was ridiculously good.
Next concert: I’m hoping for Rammstein at the Meadowlands; but I’m currently completely broke, so concerts come after being able to feed myself.
I tag anyone who wants to do this. Please tag me so I don’t miss your answers! 🤘🏻

Queen live at Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, IL, USA - February 23, 1976
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fan Stories
“This is my story from the 2/23 & 2/24 1976 Queen dates in Chicago at the Auditorium Theater. I was 15 years old and living in the Chicago area. We used to go to a lot of concerts back then because there was always somebody good playing at one of the downtown venues. I was fortunate enough to see many bands at their prime, Ten Years After, The Who, David Bowie, Genesis, etc., and of course QUEEN. We bought tickets last minute for the show on 2/23/1976. The Auditorium Theater is one of those old theaters with the overhanging side boxes. They each had 6 big overstuffed very comfortable chairs, and it was like having a private little room looking directly over the stage. The ticket cost $7.50 which was a good chunk of change back then. I remember Freddy coming out in a white leotard type of jump suit. The venue was sold out. Just packed to the gills. This was the "Night At The Opera Tour". No backup band, just Queen at thier prime. When we left the venue after the show, I remember I was so enthralled with the preformance that I wanted to see them again. They were doing two shows so I had my chance to go again on the next night 2/24/1976. I went the next night and bought a ticket from a guy outside for a couple of dollars. I had my ticket stub from the night before, so after I entered the venue instead of using the ticket I bought outside to show the usher, I showed him my ticket from the night before. They looked exactly alike except for the date. He ushered me to the same box seat that I had from the night before! So I didn't have to sit in the nosebleed seat that I bought cheap. I sat in the Box seat again. I couldn't believe nobody came to claim the seat. It was just as awesome as the first night. The only difference was that Freddy had on a Black leotard jump suit instead of the white one. Of all the concerts I've ever been to, this is the only one I had the desire to see two nights in a row, and boy am I glad I did. I call it a historical moment.” - Mark Sturr
