holy cow, our library is ONE YEAR OLD today! 🥳 when we started working on this project, we were really hoping it would survive the first year — and today, on our anniversary, we’re overjoyed and honored to say it happened. <3

and guess what? we got you a present! 💝

“They can’t even bring themselves to say that joint content is over” yes exactly and that’s why I am disappointed. Their lack of respect towards the audience is unbelievable and it frustrates me that some people don’t even realize it? There have been plenty of opportunities for dnp to address the elephant in the room and they passed on every single one because they know that saying that will make a good portion of the phandom lose interest in them forever. The last time we got an update about joint content was in DML2 last year and Phil talked about “popping up in each other’s vids for more classic content”. That’s what he said, so now we’re the bad guys for wishing things that we were told would happen? Ok, I guess. Enjoy Phil’s solo vids and Dan’s ghosting and most of all - MERCH.

Right? They might think it's obvious and that we can figure it out but that's not the point! They need to grow some respect for their fanbase before they lose even more of those adoring fans they had. Create good and clear communication and own up to the consequences, it can be good and heathy and not this absolute mess. If what Phil said don't stand anymore, fine, then SAY IT. If they change their mind sometime in the future come back and SAY IT AGAIN. Things aren't set in stone but then be honest about it. Phannies can figure stuff out on their own because they are this obsessed, but they aren't supposed to live like that qll the time.

MERCH DROP!!!

We’ve been working behind the scenes the last few months to get our swag shop ready to go for the 2024 pride season!

All 3 of our merch pieces were lovingly designed in-house by our incredible Design Lich, Z:

👕 a very cool t-shirt (easily transformed into a crop top! just add scissors!)

💼 a tote bag to to haul your physical books & e-reader (because what’s a nonprofit without a tote bag?)

🏳️‍🌈 a 3-piece sticker pack (for your laptop! water bottle! phone case! a telephone pole! whatever!)

We are super proud and excited to collaborate with Worx Printing, a worker-owned cooperative printing company out of Massachusetts. This means that all of the items in the QLL shop are union-made in the United States. You can learn more about Worx, their history, and their perspective at their website. We think they are SUPER COOL!

To be transparent with where your money goes: Your purchase first goes to the cost of making the item you buy through Worx, and the leftover profit is donated from Worx to Queer Liberation Library. As always, we’re nine volunteers in an overcoat, and we’re so excited that anybody might want to wear a shirt with our library’s name on it.

basically the way our merch shop works with Worx, is that we’re only allowed to have three items to start. If at least one of those items sells well though, we’ll be able to start adding more pieces bit-by-bit. So this is just the first set! can’t promise exactly when, but it’ll happen <3

We want QLL stickers too!! we have a bunch of fun merch ideas that we can’t WAIT to make a reality. planning is underway for an online storefront, so look for more news about that in the future! for 2023 we’ve been so focused on building + launching the library itself but now that the library is open, getting things like this up & running too will be one of our priorities in the coming year.
