Since TAOPIB takes place after Puss left San Ricardo and before the events of the 2011 PIB film, and since Dulcinea leaves San Lorenzo with Puss at the end of TAOPIB, I like to imagine that they managed to stay together as friends/lovers, traveling companions, and a polycurious couple.

So, by the time Puss and Dulcinea meet up with Humpty and Kitty, let's just say Puss wasn't the only one attracted to Miss Softpaws.

Hey Everyone, sorry I haven't been active these past few days. It's kind of hard trying to think of anything to post for a character that's completely forgotten like Dulcinea. Thankfully, I finally have something to post which I have been working on for a couple of days.

Basically, it my take on not just a Shrek 5 but a Shrek Sequel Trilogy because if Disney can do one with Star Wars then why not the franchise that made fun of them for so long.

I Hope you all Enjoy it. Sure It might be a bit rough around the edges but I tried my best on it. I hope I made something that's movie quality and not garbage fan fiction.

Ficlet/Drabble Requests for Puss In Boots

I'm taking fic requests! Send me your request through an ask, and I'll see what I can do and if I'd like to write it. The ask can be anonyomous or not- depends on what you'd prefer, and if I have anon asks open at the time. ONLY PUSS IN BOOTS FANDOM, NO CROSSOVERS PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK BLOG DESCRIPTION TO SEE IF REQUESTS ARE OPEN BEFORE ASKING

There are some rules for it, however;

Relationships I will write both slash and non-slash works. Non-slash have no rules, I will write any non-slash relationship. Slash does have rules, however; Relationship must be adult x adult, I will not write children in slash fics. [As I view Perrito as a child, I will not write slash of him] No incest I do not write Kitty/Death or Death/Puss/Kitty, or Puss/Dulcinea, I am just not a fan of those ships I will write OC/Self-Insert x Canon, or Oc/Self-Insert x OC/Self-Insert [See Rule 3 for more]

Ratings I will write either SFW or NSFW fics. SFW is anything with minimal gore, no smut, minimal violence. NSFW is anything with a lot of gore, smut, and a lot of graphic violence. When requesting violence and gore, please specify if you want it to be SFW or NSFW amounts. Regarding smut, please specify all kinks/actions you want. Hard smut no's are; Urine or fecal play Anything underage or adjacent to underage [includes ageplay] Graphic r*pe [I will write dubious consent or coerced consent, but graphic non-consent is not something I am comfortable writing]

OCs and Self-Inserts I will write OC's and Self-Inserts, all other rules still apply to these characters. Please include a visual reference or appearance description, personality overview, some basic backstory [does not have to be character history, simply what they're doing at the time and why, as well as how they know other characters], pronoun, and a name, as I will not use YN or Reader in lieu of name. If requesting smut, please let me know what privates to write the character with.

Alternative Universes If you want something written in your AU, please include basic descripton and reading material [this can be sent separately in another ask, or through DMs]. If you want me to write one of my AUs, keep in mind that the drabble likely will not be canon to the AU, and keep in mind I may refuse due to not wanting to spoil major plot points.

I Can Say No I reserve the right to say no to doing your request for whatever reason I have, without needing to explain why. I will answer the ask privately to tell you if I refuse, and will try and tell you promptly so you aren't stuck in limbo about it [only the ones I accept will be stuck in limbo, haha]. I may give a reason. I may not. Do not throw a hissy fit about it- if you send a request, get denied, and I get a bunch of anon hate after, I will know it was you, and I will either blacklist and likely block you, or keep an eye out for familar sentence stucturing and tone to refuse future request I feel is from the same anon.

Archive Of Our Own I may post your drabble on AO3. Whether I do or not depends on mood, and if I think it fits on my account. hi friends i'm going to be rambling about the puss in boots tv show that nobody has watched/ever cared about below <3

okay so i started watching the adventures of puss in boots bc i was desperate for more PiB content after losing my mind over the last wish

and at first it was kinda just. eh. yknow? the first 1/1.5 seasons have a very 'monster of the week' type format. which can be fun. they weren't bad, just not a ton to them. but i guess it was to really establish the characters of san lorenzo, make them more dimensional

and i don't care a ton about any of them but i would die for kid pickles he's amazing. and also DULCINEA!!!!

listen. i am kitty x puss fan NUMBER ONE. but puss and dulcinea are also so cute and i'm rooting for them so hard. pretty sure the timeline has this set before the first PiB movie so kitty isn't in the picture whatsoever

i like their dynamic a lot. it's cute. they're very much a slow burn friends to lovers story and i am here for the long haul

and yeah i just started season 4 and it's really starting to pick up!! i hope this battle with the bloodwolf lives up to expectations lmao they've been talking about it for two seasons at this point

also last funny bit, i think i accidentally trained myself to fall asleep whenever i put the show on bc i'll always watch it at night when i'm sleepy. and recently i noticed that whenever i turn it on my brain just shuts off and i can hardly make it through one episode without falling asleep. kinda funny haha

Here is my first entry for Pride Month. So yes, Puss, Kitty, and Dulcinea are all bisexual in my headcanon, and Puss is fancy (fat) in my headcanon, 247 baby!

Soft and Sweet Boots Headcanon

This is just one of my many headcanons of how Soft and Sweet Boots (Kitty, Dulcinea, and Puss) get together.

Puss and Kitty have been close friends for years, slowly developing feelings for one another along the way. Dulcinea, being the kind of person who gets along with anyone, slowly gained the friendship of both Puss and Kitty. Being close friends, Puss could tell that Kitty was developing deeper feelings for Dulcinea and didn't want to get in the way of his friend's happiness, despite his own budding and confusing feelings for both Kitty and Dulcinea.

When Dulcinea and Kitty had been together for about four months, Kitty noticed how dejected Puss had been acting for the last few months. Kitty felt guilty about ignoring her own feelings for Puss and how Puss felt about Dulcinea. Dulcinea noticed that her girlfriend and friend were at odds with each other, and she finally decided to bring their feelings to light and admit how guilty she felt for driving a wedge between them and her tender feelings for both of them.

So, as Dulcinea told them, they both stared at her in disbelief while avoiding looking at each other and blushing. Dulcinea took both of their hands in hers and said, "Think of how happy we can all be together." Kitty and Puss looked at each other with shy little smiles, and then they looked back at Dulcinea, giving both of her hands a gentle squeeze in agreement.

I remember not knowing what was going on in the picture then, but I knew that Dulcinea was the neutral party along with Perrito on Team Friendship.
