I haven't had Cake Pops in so long. The last time I had them was when I was in Middle School. But Cake Pops are really good, I'm sure I can look for some anywhere, or my family and I can make some if we had a maker that can make cake pops. And also, back in 2008 or 2009 every time I went to a Goodwill store like the thrift store, they always have these vending machines where they have snacks and I sometimes get some every time I have coins or 1 dollar bills. But now, they take them out and have these fridges where you can buy drinks or ice creams, but you can either snack them here or buy them on the go. My Aunt used to do that by drinking sodas while in the store, and she discards the bottles when she finishes them up, and she did get away with it and didn't get caught, but she used to work at a Juvenile Probation Office after all. But with those Deep Dish Pizzas, I used to get them a lot at the Water Park besides Nachos. And I can still get them at the store besides the French Bread Pizzas. And I sometimes cook them besides my brother cooking them.

The Chikamori Legacy (Rebooted) Chapter One: Settling In (Part II)
Six months later
After getting all the permits, we started construction on the additions to the home that we were planning on putting in for Bebe and Torao. What would happen would be our ripping out our current washroom and creating a new one off the living room and then extending what used to be the washroom into a second bedroom for the baby. Then River and I would move to our new place in Stoney Falls. And what would happen would be that Bebe and Torao would move into the house we vacated.
I think both River and I were getting used to the fact that we were renovating to give over the new place, but at least this was voluntarily. I had managed to get winters on my truck and paid to get River’s SUV the same way. And frankly, it was better that way since it would handle the roads a lot easier with more control and considering the fact that we had hills where we were living in Stoney Falls, we didn’t want to be stuck in the middle of the road somewhere halfway up the hill. That and we needed chains too.
Luckily for us, we managed to get the roof and walls up and finished before the first snow fell in fall, so by December we were able to be ready to move. We were leaving most of our furniture for Torao and Bebe and we had enough to buy new furniture for ourselves.
River did however say that she would be damned if she was leaving the coffee-maker. I think I agreed with her, not that I'm a coffee drinker. That was purely due to my own survival instinct. I might be able to tolerate getting my caffeine from pop (soda for you Americans), but for River, if she didn’t have coffee in the morning…well I’ll leave that to your imagination.
Well, when we transferred the keys over to them, Bebe and Torao were ecstatic and when we got to our new home, River was absolutely over the moon happy. And of course, I was smug.
River did however not end up staying long to admire our new place since she got a panicked phone call from Bebe saying that she was in labour and since Torao was unable to make it since he was at work, if River would meet her at the hospital and stay with her until Torao got off work. Well, that was fine with me. I intended to make short work of furnishing this place since we had to have someplace to sleep tonight.
And once I finished with that, including the exhorbitant cost of delivery to an uphill location in the dead of winter with almost a foot of snow on the ground; I owed the movers the cost of a case of beer and then some. But by about ten in the morning (they made quick work of the delivery) I was nestled in one of my new armchairs and happily reading a recipe on vegetarian chili whilst listening to Gustav Leonhardt tickling the plectrums of the harpsichord with his recording of J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations.
Pondering weighty thoughts, I figured that Bebe and Torao were family and as such, their new child was a connection between the Harts and us Chikamoris. And I was set to make a match-up with the McIrishes of course, my uncle Kisamu beat me to it deciding to propose to River’s mother. Uncle Kisamu was Dad’s younger brother and he had a son, named Shigeo, who was roughly around my age. I knew my dad had four brothers in total and a sister. He had a large family back in Japan and it appeared that they were all planning on moving to Canada.
It didn’t seem too long before River returned. For a first pregnancy, not that I knew anything about it at this stage in my life, the labour went very quickly. “She was content…” River informed me. “It went smoothly and the obstetrician managed to make it to the hospital regardless of the snowfall…she was there for the last bit of the labour and the delivery.” River’s ebulliant response to my question about so, how did it go was quite telling, "She was doing OK the last time that I saw her and well, Torao got time-off work so he wasn't too long in showing up."
"Is this something you want too?" River's response to my question was not really that surprising. Women, I guess, when they're around another who has become a mother, it seems, generally have the same nesting desire. And River was no different. It seemed like her voice was softer and had a note of longing in it as she fell into my embrace.
"Yeah...one of these days..." her voice trailed off as her lips met mine in a passionate kiss. "But we have our education to think about before a drastic step like that." River had her priorities set, but things were subject to change, as the years would progress, I thought, and her friends got married and ready to make their own families. But our course was set. Even though I had no idea what I wanted to do in life, River knew her own path and she was set to get started on going on it. The main question being that was I going to be just a fish pulled along by the flow or was I going to be an active participant in our future together?
River and I were lucky in the fact that we’d managed to make enough in the first six months of our relationship to have the flexibility to move like we did. Unfortunately not many others had that flexibility and were stuck in the situations they found themselves in, perhaps mired in poverty and not having the ability to be able to rectify their situation; perhaps dealing with disability or mental illness or cognitive deficits that seriously impeded their ability to be able to earn money.
I came to the alarming realization that in all of our packing and anticipation of the move that we were two weeks away from Christmas and we still hadn’t managed to get presents for our family, namely River’s family which to my dismay meant that we were going to have to go out in the snow and head to a shopping mall. Rolling my eyes, I made ready to get up out of my comfy couch and grabbed my jacket. River did the same, sighing – she was just as loath to leave our warm cozy home and brave the crowded malls... Christmas shopping was a mixture of the most beloved and hated words in the English language – take a guess which one is which.
When you come to the realization that it's two weeks till Christmas and you've procrastinated too long on this chore and now have to deal with the cognitive dissonance resulting from the fact that you are going to have to brave the screaming tots, kids having meltdowns in the middle of the store, impatient mobs of harried parents that have regressed to the emotional age of toddlers and irritated sales staff to try to track down the perfect Christmas presents for your extended family.
Reminder to myself (that I will probably ignore dutifully next year): Try to start Christmas shopping in June.
I was taking the truck, there was no way that SUV was going to manage the hill, at least not with an under-powered V6. River agreed with me and I was waiting for her while she exited the gate.
As she settled into the right hand seat in the front cab of our truck, I dourly grumbled, “Bet ya ten bucks we last maybe thirty seconds before we run screaming out of the mall…I hate Christmas shopping…” Clearly I was not a Christmas shopping type of person.
River gave me a sardonic look then stared straight ahead at the road, “Make that twenty and you got a deal.”
We were home by 1:30PM. We did better than we thought. We lasted about forty-five minutes in the mall before feeling the urge to run screaming from the place. It was nice to come home and end up cuddling on the couch. But I’ll tell you this much: Bed, Bath and Beyond probably has three-quarters of my last amount of income from gemstone sales.

Blenders – Appliances used for mixing, pureeing, or emulsifying ingredients into smooth textures.
Kitchen – The kitchen is the special place in our home where we prepare and cook food. It’s usually filled with appliances like ovens and stoves, as well as tools like pots and pans that help us create delicious meals.
Course – A course is one part of a meal, such as an appetizer, main dish, or dessert. Each course offers a different taste and helps make the meal more interesting by introducing a variety of flavors.
Seasoning – Seasoning includes ingredients like salt, pepper, and herbs that we add to our dishes to boost their flavor. A well-seasoned dish can really bring out the best tastes in the ingredients we use.
Beverage – A beverage is any drink we enjoy with our meal, like water, juice, or soda. The right beverage can complement our food and enhance the overall dining experience.
Presentation – Presentation refers to how we arrange food on a plate to make it look nice and appealing. Good presentation can make our meals more enjoyable and exciting to eat.

Kaylen Martin is a comforting, family, pure and whimsical sim. She lives in Mt. Komorebi looking for a fresh scenery after her late parent’s house caught on fire. Kaylen loves all things crafting, from knitting to soap making she’s investing it. In fact, she hopes one day to open a shop where she can sell her homemade candles.
Kaylen is a freelance maker that only makes candles, she also makes candles and starts a yard sale, the rest she crafts she keeps and gives to her friends. Her best friend is Tina Tinker. She lives in a micro home right now, but she feels at peace and home there.
Her dream is to have a successful family before all else, can she achieve her aspiration? Or will she be a candle maker without a family?
Hey y’all, so I decided to make a new Legacy, its gonna be a bit different, its going to follow the traditional rules of the original legacy challenge with the random legacy challenge. I also gave myself three rolls, and wheel decide to decide a lot of this stuff. For example I used wheel decide to pick the season, its winter q.q and the home worlds I used the wheel as well, but on my third one it was Mt. Komorebi. The first one was Sulani - I already have a legacy save in that world, and the second one was Del Sol Valley; however, I felt like the 50x50 lot there wouldn’t work and so by the third, it was Mt. Komorebi, which I love that world in general its my favorite one. So that’s where Kaylen went too. Her random legacy rules are that she is to have two children, but one must be born and the other must be adopted which I thought was cute, her S/O’s job is a astronaut (space ranger), a negative trait on the lot must be placed and overcome (her current lot trait is quake zone) how we are gonna overcome it, stay tune and lastly my special rule on the random is hands off, meaning I can’t clean up anything, the sim has to do it. I can sell things from her inventory but cause I like to make it harder on myself she can ONLY sell candles, the rest she needs to keep.
The normal Legacy rules is of course, everyone knows, the sim must start in the biggest lot in the world, no cheats unless to get out of sticky situations that bugs caused. However, I did change the age span to long, it feels more realistic for me and I’m actually hoping to have her and her future S/O have their kid once the infant update comes out and growing together expansion.
I also have mods, some of which make the challenge even harder, such as I need to purchase groceries for pretty much anything, like, peanut butter, tea bags, baking soda, etc. Also on the mods selection is the Soap Maker & Candle Maker from Ice. The Candle Maker adds more candle selections and the Soap Maker honestly was just for fun. I also have Pottery, Wicker Basket making, etc.
Anyway, sorry this is long, I felt like I should get the introduces out of the way and then, get to the updates later.

Weapons of choice in hand, the Rose twins stealthily went on their way dragging along twelve bottles of Cola Pops with a box of Poppy Rocks in what would be their best prank yet.
[45 Minutes Later…]
After trekking through the woods, the twin finally arrived at the destination of their latest prank....
A Billboard promoting a local Dentist Office!
Rowan: After two months of saving our allowances and a week’s worth of lunch monies, we finally have the tools to enact today’s plan! For too long we children have to suffer at the hands of those “dental specialists,” so now it’s time to take revenge for children of all ages!
Summer: *fistbumps* Yeah!
Both take a liter of Cola in their hands and begin to use them to fill several balloons. Afterwards they poured a whole sachets worth of the rock candy mixture.
Once they had their weapons ready, they quickly shook a balloon in each hand, took aim and threw them at the billboard with all their might!
When the two balloons had made contact with the billboard, the twins had been pleased to see the sight of two messy and foamy spray on the dental advertisement.
Summer: Woo! That was so cool!
Rowan: Yeah! ...Wanna throw another one?
Summer: Heck yeah!
They prepared more balloons and repeated the action of tossing them in exactly the same way as before.
Soon enough, the billboard was nearly covered with sticky foam and rock candy, all to the twins mischievous glee and amusement.
Sadly their fun was too soon coming to an end, they both stared at the two remaining balloons that they each held.
Summer: Aw... I wish we had bought more balloons.
Rowan: It was fun while it lasted. Come on, let’s make these ones count. Whoever can hit an eye gets to give the other their brussels sprouts for dinner tonight!
Summer: Yuck! Brussels sprouts... you’re on!
The twins held their final individual balloons in one hand, rearing their arms back to throw and are prepared to fling their balloons, but unfortunately for these two, their fun ended when a beam of a flashlight was pointed at them.
“Oi! Hold it right there!”
The twins stopped themselves mid throw, thankfully neither of them let go of their balloons, as they both turned towards the light being pointed at them.
Busted.
A figure walked towards slowly, a female judging by the voice, a northern Valean accent to be accurate. However, neither of the twins could not make out as to who the woman was for the sky had begun to turn dark and the light that she held was exceptionally bright.
The young woman stopped only a meter away from them.
???: Reach for the sky.
The two Rose twins complied, both raiding their hands.
???: Well would ya look at here, I got me some no good troublemakers messin’ around with town property. Don’t try ta deny it either, I caught ya’s red handed.
Rowan: W-We aren’t trouble makers m-mam, we were just playing. Right Sum?
Summer: Y-Yeah, just playing! Honest!
???: Oh? An’ you want to believe that loada crap. Especially when ya’s still got tha proof in ya hands.
Rowan was shaking in place, this was not looking good for either of them, they had been caught and now they were likely in big trouble. Mom would find out and be disappointed, he could get kicked out of the soccer team and they could get this marked on their permanent record.
He was taken away from his thoughts when he faintly heard whimpering, turning his gaze he saw his twin looking on the verge of tears, absolutely terrified at the implication of getting in trouble.
That just solidified Rowan’s decision.
Rowan: I-I …It was my idea! Please if you’re going to take one of us in, just take me and let my sister go! She just went along with my idea!
Summer: Wha-! N-No that’s not true! I threw just as many balloons as he did!
Rowan: *whispering* Summer! I’m trying to save your skin!
Summer: *whispering* Nooo! I don’t want you to go to jail!
Rowan: Please mam, I acted alone! She just watched me do it and I pressured her into it!
???: That a fact? Well that doesn’t mattah, I’m takin’ the two’s of ya in anyway.
Stretching out her empty hand she activated her semblance, causing the tips of her fingers to illuminate a green hue and a symbol of a leaf appeared on her hand. What occurred next shocked the two young Rose twins.
From the ground beneath them, roots emerged and swiftly wrapped around their little wrists, forming makeshift wooden handcuffs. With a pull, the roots brought the two on their knees, making it clear to the two that she meant business.
Rowan: W-Wait! Hold on a minute! Don’t you have to read us our rights or something!?
Summer: Yeah! Tell us we have the right to an attorney!
???: Attorneys are for grownups. Bad kids like the two of ya’s, get sent to juvie. You two already confessed to the crime, so now I’m takin’ ya to tha slammer!
Rowan: B-But!
Summer: I don’t wanna to go to juvie! Please don’t take us!
The two are nearly close to tears when something unexpected happens. The woman in front of them started to …giggle. Soon enough, her laughing grew louder in volume as she started leaning forward, holding onto her abdomen as she was losing herself to her hysterics.
With a wave of her hand the roots receded, returning to the ground albeit the restraints that remained on the twins wrists.
They looked on in bewilderment as the woman who was apprehending them laughed at the two as though she heard the best joke of her life.
???: *inhales* Oh, you shoulda seen the look on the both of ya’s faces! That’s gold! Pure gold!
She turns off her flashlight with a press of a button, no longer hindering the twins vision. When both of their vision became adjusted to natural light, they immediately put together their apprehender’s identity.
Rowan: Rosemary!?
The twin’s apprehender was none other than Rosemary Thornbush, local Huntress and resident of Patch. She also happened to be a friend of their mother and aunt, and they had history. So the redhead was indeed a familiar face to them.
Rosemary: *laughs* Hey Row-Row. I got ya kids good, didn’t I?
Summer: Rosie! That was mean! I actually thought we were in trouble!
Rosemary: I nevah said you ain’t.
A silence fell on both the twins, as they saw
Summer: oh… so we are going to juvie?
Rosemary: Nah. But the two of ya’s are gonna get a mouthful from ya mom.
Rowan: Y-You’re gonna tell Mom?
Rosemary: Yep, and she’ll get to decide the punishment for that. *pointing at the billboard*
Summer: …Can we go to jail instead?
Rosemary: Oh quit you’re whining, get up you two!
Sheathing her flashlight, Rosemary takes both children by the wrist and guides them down the dirt path towards their home.
Rowan: But the wagon.
Rosemary: We’ll get that tomarraw, it ain’t going nowhere.
Rowan: Aw…
[A walk of shame later…]
Ruby Rose gazes down at her two children in front of her, whom she believed were going to a sleepover, but were all actuality caught vandalizing a billboard with the liters of soda and candy that she purchased under the pretense that they were gonna be used by school children to eat and drink. So not only did her naughty children lie to her, but they also committed a crime.
She was not in a good mood.
Ruby: Rowan, Summer, is this true?
Neither of the twin’s answers her and instead avoided her piercing gaze by looking at the floor. Their guilt clearly written on their small faces.
Ruby: *breathes* Well then, for starters, you’re both going to get ready for dinner. Then you both are going help me wash the dishes tonight, which will be spotless, and then you will both get ready for bed and go to your rooms without any TV or games for the rest of the week.
The two winces at the stern tone she used, they only hear it rarely but it’s not one any child enjoys hearing.
Ruby: Then tomorrow morning you both are going to wake up, eat your breakfast …and help clean up the mess you made on that billboard.
Summer: B-But tomorrow’s the weekend.
Ruby: And?
Summer: Nothing Mommy…
Ruby: You have anything to add mister?
Rowan: No Mommy…
Ruby: Good. Now go fresh up, I made dinner and I don’t want it to get cold.
Wordlessly, the twins moved past her and hears them go upstairs to their shared bathroom to wash up for what would undoubtedly be a very awkward meal.
The sound of giggling breaks Ruby’s thoughts as she turns her attention back towards her guest.
Rosemary: Yeesh, I’d hate to make you angry. Especially if I met you as a kid.
Ruby paused then shook her head, laughing a bit herself at the notion. Being only five years her senior and a friend of her older brother at Signal, the young lady has a way of making her seem old.
Ruby: Thank you Rosie for bringing them home, I really appreciate it.
Rosemary: Forget about it Ruby, I’m always happy to help a friend of the family. Your kids certainly did make the highlight of my night.
Ruby: Did you want to stay for dinner?
Rosemary: Thanks for the offa but Ma’s undoubtedly waiting for me to get my butt back home. Maybe another night. Bring the whole family?
Ruby: I think the kids would love that, once they get over you turning them in.
Rosemary: I hate to do it but it’s my job. Also, I plan to keep an eye on them while they clean up their mess tomarrah. I figured you’s gonna ask that.
Ruby: Thank you again, when everything is cleaned up I’ll come to get them. Who knows, maybe you can expect a cheesecake with your name on it?
Rosemary: Yes mam! *has an eager smile on her face*
Ruby: Well then, I hope you get home safely Rosie, let the family know I said hi and that I appreciate their daughter looking out for my children.
Rosemary: Sure thing, Shrub is definitely gonna enjoy hearing about this. Well you have a goodnight, Ruby.
Ruby: You too, Rosie.
With her job seemingly done for the night, the younger red head began on her way, walking down from the Rose residence’s porch and making her way back from the dirt path. But before she could make it there, her attention is taken away when a voice from behind her called out.
Ruby: Rosie!
Rosemary: *looks back* Yea?
Ruby: …Thank you for bringing them back.
Rosemary: *shrugs* Sure thing. What are friends for, am I right?
Without another word, the young huntress resumed on her way. Another normal day on Patch done and the night setting in.

Actually since I quit Wendy's here's some Secrets TM and bad experiences I've had, some more or less apply to fast food in general, you probably know some
Yes, the beef is never frozen. No, that doesn't mean it's fresh. The beef is only ever refrigerated but we keep it for a while. All chicken is frozen, so are the fries.
Employees don't wash their hands nearly as much as they should, myself included sometimes. We just kinda forget to especially when we're busy.
If you have an allergy to a food a sandwich maker has to touch you can let them know and they'll switch their gloves but when shit gets busy they get messy and ingredients will fall into other ingredients (it is guaranteed that a sandwich maker drops something into the ketchup pan at least once per shift) so Watch Out.
The bacon is first cooked during opening which is busy as fuck usually so you bet we're not switching out gloves and washing hands every 4 fucking minutes while making bacon and salads and reheating shit.
Speaking of chili, it's made with unwanted beef patties. If a patty dries out on the grill, it's left in the Meat Bin to be used for chili. Good restaurants will only leave it there for 2 hours before using it to make chili but dude it's Wendy's... don't fucking count on it.
The sweet and sour sauce packets with the new purple seal is smaller than the old ones. Ask for extra or get a different sauce if they have other old ones.
Strawberry puree (used for strawberry lemonade) + vanilla frosty is fucking great. Only way to do this is to get a strawberry lemonade and order extra puree on the side (in a small black container) and a vanilla frosty because apparently shit's expensive. If it's summer, the restaurant should have almonds that also go well with it. Wendy's only has one dessert, make the most of it.
If the bathroom smells like sewage it might be because some asshole shat in the sink months ago. Don't bother pointing it out to the cashier. We know and we've already used up the air freshener.
If you ask for a water cup most employees will have to go back and fill it for you if managers are around because they give a shit about you trying to get a free soda and they'll give us shit if we let you. It's nothing personal.
The cheese sauce gets a dry skin like every 5 minutes when it's not stirred so unless you know it's fresh don't do it. That being said, a cup of cheese sauce with a chili sauce packet makes the perfect nacho cheese sauce.
No one has any fucking idea what's in what. I don't know if this has gluten, I don't know if the gravy is plant or animal based, and it's not my fucking fault. We're literally trained to tell you to do your own research and we're trained to tell you to check the nutritional info board/website/app. Please don't give us shit for this we're not even allowed to know ourselves.
The men's restroom is the most disgusting place I've ever had the displeasure of spending any time in let alone cleaning. Just don't go in there. Piss at home and don't shit in our sink again for the love of fuck.
The slam (4 patties) isn't a Secret Menu item (there's no such thing as secret menus) it's just not advertised. Most of our stuff isn't. Did you know Wendy's had apple bites? Baconator fries? Mixed frosties? There's a lot of shit people don't know about.
The coffee sucks. The decaff coffee also sucks. Most of us don't give a shit about serving old coffee either because no one drinks it anyway, ESPECIALLY decaff.
I should have mentioned this way earlier but the first chili and bacon served is reheated from yesterday. The first salads served are yesterday's salads too. Easiest way to tell (if the restaurant actually follows this procedure, we sure as hell didn't) is if there's two stickers on the salad lid (our way of saying Use First).
There's no such thing as a Loaded Potato. Closest thing is a Bacon Cheese Potato with Sour Cream and Chives. Also if you're gonna get chili cheese fries, add sour cream and chives. It's that much better.
Whenever I used to check temperatures, the gravy/"poutine sauce" was ALWAYS below temp and we never really did anything about it. The cheese curds often stuck together too. Poutine from chain restaurants in general is usually pretty fucking awful but Wendy's (and McDonald's) are the worst.
We work while sick. Same as retail. We're fucking poor and can't afford not to work and unless we have a note we can't request a sick day anyway. Yes this is against the law, no nobody gives a shit.
Along with shitting in the sink, another customer was so pissed she shat on the floor and spread it over the walls of the dining room. Another customer came under a table for some fucking reason. Another one threw up all over the table. This shit happens at least once a month and there's supposed to be a procedure managers use to clean it but they usually make cashiers do it with lots of bleach.

Story time
I recently jumped on the Hello Fresh bandwagon and have thoroughly enjoyed both the delicious foods and the feeling of following the recipes and being all fancy in the kitchen. Im practically a professional now! (pure sarcasm as evidenced by the following story…)
One of my less fancy moments happened a few evenings ago. For starters, I can’t make rice. It turns out goopy or hard as a rock. The rice maker changed my life. But with the Hello Fresh recipes, I’ve had to go back to making my rice on the stove. Now… boiling water. It’s something most people know, and succeed, at doing. The fates were apparently against me being able to accomplish such a simple task on a Monday. #rude.
About 2 minutes in of preparing my veggies whilst waiting for the water to boil, I notice a decent amount of smoke coming from under the pot. Going over to inspect said smoke, a little flame decided to start up. I turned off the burner and removed the pot. That only made the flame angry and get bigger.
It was then that I have a sudden flashback of home economics class (not a great time in my life) at our weekly co-ops. We were taught what to do in the event of a fire in the kitchen. I was told to never throw water on the fire, because if oil was involved, the water would only make it worse. Starting to panic, I tried to jog from my memory if it was baking soda or baking powder would be able to put out the flame. At that point, I began to feel like a Sim, flailing my arms around, looking around the kitchen in panic, and wishing I had a magical fire extinguisher that could pop into my hands and help me put out the growing flame. I even considered for a split second grabbing the kitchen towel and smacking it against the fire to try and put it out, but all I could see was the towel catching on fire and then being whipped around the kitchen catching everything else on fire!
Finally, I decided to just grab a bowl of water, throw it on, and pray. Thank the good Lord, it worked 🙌🏻 It’s times like these I am glad I live 2 minutes from the fire station and about 4 from the hospital.
