LATE-BREAKING NEWS: Zamboangueño Drag Artist 'Pura Luka Vega' is arrested for multiple nationwide counts of Persona Non Grata and other specific criminalities in Arrest Warrant

SANTA CRUZ, NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION -- It all comes down to this after 3 straight months, a 33 y/o male Zamboangueño LGBT drag artist individual named Pura Luka Vega (who is real name as Amadeus Fernando Pagente) is arrested for multiple counts of 'Persona Non Grata' in selected cites; including Western, Central and Eastern Visayas (excluding Dumaguete City & Negros Oriental -- which are currently not listed yet).

This was after failing to receive or partially reading a Subpoena letter, and even he did not come forward to attend himself a preliminary investigation of a criminal case or in court, as obtained exclusively to OneNETnews.

By late Wednesday afternoon (October 4th, 2023 at exactly 4:10pm -- Manila local time), per the exclusive radio report of Super Radyo: Manila DZBB-AM 594khz with Manny Vargas… He was enlisted for an arrest warrant and was issued by honorable Czarina Encarnacion Samonte-Villanueva, presiding judge of the Manila-Regional Trial Court: Branch 36 (M-RTC), due to numerous multiple charges that Mr. Amadeus face in for a criminal punishment in the whole country.

Unfortunately, in a possible theory, drag artist is prohibited completely by the Philippine national law (regardless of illegal fashion, more reasons for homophobic, and those situations of LGBT like Mr. Amadeus himself), since our news team of OneNETnews cannot independently verify them. You may remember last Sunday night (July 9th, 2023) after a video surprisingly but brazenly went viral online on his own social media account during a new, unreleased gospel rock remixed song of ’Ama Namin’ (or the Lord's Player).

Aside from these national charges, local government units (LGUs) in Western, Central and Eastern Visayas affecting the areas of Persona Non Grata are in Palawan; Toboso town in Negros Occidental; Mandaue City in Province of Cebu, Cebu City, Bohol and Dinagat Islands.

But here in Dumaguete City and Negros Oriental alone as according to Dumaguete City Councilor named Joe Kenneth Arbas during a local radio interview of DWFH-FM 97.7mhz's Radyo Bandera: Sweet FM Dumaguete… The LGU officials decided not to declare the aforementioned Persona Non Grata in the entire province of Negros Oriental including Dumaguete City for Mr. Amadeus and was silently approved by a disclosed local resolution at the Dumaguete City session hall, next beside at the end of City Central Elementary School (CCES) in Santa Catalina Street.

So as that, Mr. Amadeus (known as one drag artist 'Pura Luka Vega') was now arrested at his temporal residence via the Manuel Hizon Street, Brgy. 339, Santa Cruz, National Capital Region in Manila; after travelling and moving originally from Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte. He was charged with multiple violations of a nationwide Persona Non Grata in some cities & regions, in relation to Article #201: Sections 2b.2, 2b.3, 2b.5 & 3 or Revised Penal Code and the Republic Act #10175: Section 6 or The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, with a recommended bail behind bars of PHP72,000 (or roughly U$D1,270) at the Manila Police District (MPD) jail in Santa Cruz, the said NCR.

By soliciting monetary donations to free Mr. Amadeus, everyone else could be committing a cheating offense by using expensive cold-hard cash, electronic wallets like GCash & Maya, and traditional or digital banks like Landbank and CIMB Bank, leaving completely refuses to pay all the damages in taxpayer's money or criminal funds, according to the MPD.

Even one human right's lawyer named Raphael Lorenzo Aguiling Pangalangan cannot fully control his unlawful issue with its disturbingly scandalous biblical trend.

Now the drag artist completely under attack in the online world of social media, his journey of "The Lord's Prayer" in LGBT drag artist career ends here with a bigger damages for a simple retirement of fashion. The 'Fake Jesus in Northwest Mindanao' is calling it quits, despite still a shameful individual character.

Bahaghari on Facebook: Pura Luka Vega's rearrest highlights LGBTQI's non-enjoyment of freedom of expression and artistic freedom

After months of being released on bail, drag artist Pura Luka Vega has been arrested again, this time by a different court but with the same complaint.

Bahaghari once again condemns the weaponization of the law against Pura and their right to freely express their relationship with faith through art. Evangelical groups have allotted resources to further marginalize an LGBTQI+ person in the court of law. Similarly, many city councils across the Philippines have declared them "persona non grata," following a viral video where they, dressed as Jesus Christ, performed Ama Namin remix in a bar.

It has not gone unnoticed to Bahaghari the double standards at play in this case. Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the mega-church Kingdom of Jesus Christ was indicted by FBI for alleged crimes against women and children but none of the city councils who have declared Pura "persona non grata" are mum on this issue. Until now, Quiboloy is in hiding even with summons from the Senate in their investigation on the abuse allegations against him. Furthermore, the complainants for the case are all affiliated with the Philippines for Jesus Movement (PJM) founded by Eddie Villanueva, the father of Senator Joel Villanueva, whose office has deployed disgusting tactics to delay the SOGIESC Equality Bill.

The art of drag and other similar acts of expression by LGBTQI+ people are under attack around the world. In the United States, legislations have been passed to criminalize people based on gender identity and expression. In the Philippines where a national anti-discrimination law is absent, LGBTQI+ individuals are subject to gender-based violence.

Pura Luka Vega's case is an attack on LGBTQI+ people's expression on their relationship with faith and religion and the expression of their artistic freedom. LGBTQI+ individuals have different expressions on their faith. Many are still practicing their religion. Some have abandoned it altogether due to the trauma and marginalization they felt in the presence of their religious leaders.

Oo nga at nakikita natin ang kawalang-pakundangan sa imahe ni Jesu-Kristo, at balidong makaramdam tayo ng ngitngit, ngunit binigyan ba natin ng oras na tingnan ang mga signos ng panahon? (Mt 16:1-4) Kung bakit nagtanghal si Pura Luka Vega in the first place? Dahil sa laganap na pang-aabuso, hindi lamang sa gender minorities, kundi sa sambayanan! Kung tutuusin, mas blasphemous at makasalanan pa ang tahasang pang-redtag, intimidasyon, pag-torture, at pagpatay ng administrasyong Marcos-Duterte sa ating mga nag-aasam at kumikilos para sa pagbabagong panlipunan. Kinikitilan ng karapatan at buhay ang mga taong nilikha ayon sa wangis ng Diyos! Hindi ba mas kahindik-hindik iyon?

Ikalawa, kahit ano pang sensibilidad ng mga Kristiyano ang na-offend sa performance ni Pura Luka Vega, hindi dapat maparusahan sa batas ang ganitong ekspresyon ng sining. Kailangang mabatid nating lahat na sa hinaba-haba ng kasaysayan, ginamit na armas ang relihiyon para sa represyon ng mga komunidad LGBTQIA+. Isa itong kolektibong ekspresyon ng trauma, grief, at pagbawi ng espasyo mula sa sakit at abuso! 

Tingnan natin kung sino ang mga may pakanang nagposas at nagkulong kay Pura. Sila rin ang mga kagawad ng pulisyang pumatay kay Jude Thaddeus Fernandez, isang 67-taong gulang na organisador ng mga manggagawa. Sila rin ang mga nagsinungaling sa mamamayan nang dinakip nila sina Jhed Tamano at Jonila Castro, mga kabataang taong-simbahan at environment advocates para sa Manila Bay. Sila rin ang naghahasik ng mga bomba sa isla ng Masbate at nagdudulot ng matinding takot sa mga residente. Sila rin ang nakikinabang sa confidential and intelligence funds na balon ng katiwalian.

Mga kapwa-Kristiyano, sa panahon ng malalang represyon sa ating saligang karapatan para sa buhay, kailangan na nating bumuklod sa malawak na mamamayang Pilipino. Kasama rito ang komunidad ng LGBTQIA+ at iba pang mga uri at sektor na araw-araw binibiktima ng pang-aapi at pagsasamantala. Tinatawagan tayo na sundan ang mga yapak ni Kristo patungo sa pagkilos para sa kapayapaan dito sa lupa na nakabatay sa katarungan. Ang laban ng isang nagdarahop para sa kanyang karapatan ay laban ng lahat ng nagdarahop para sa karapatan ng lahat, sapagkat tayong lahat ay iisa na sa pakikipag-isa natin kay Jesu-Kristo!
