Punjab Ayush Counselling 2024: Stray Round Schedule & Important Instruction

For admission to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS courses under the State quota of Govt. College and State and All India quota in private colleges in the State of Punjab.

NEET-2024 qualified candidates are invited to apply for the Fifth Online Counseling (Stray Vacancy Round-II) (112 and above marks for General Category, 99 and above marks for Physically Disabled General Category, and 87 and above marks for SC, ST, OBC, and Physically Disabled Reserved Category).

From November 23, 2024, until December 1, 2024, qualifying candidates for NEET-2024 can complete the online registration and college choice forms via the university's websites at www.graupunjab.org and http://grauadmission.smartpad.in. It is not necessary for candidates who have already registered to do so again.

According to the dates listed in the Important Dates column, online counseling will be done via the university website, and an online counseling form will be made available there as well.

Following the provisional seat assignment, the candidate must report to the designated college to obtain a challan form, have their eligibility checked, and have their documents verified. Verifying the eligibility of the provisionally assigned applicant prior to their joining or admittance is the principal's exclusive responsibility.

After provisional allocation, the candidate will deposit the annual fee in the form of a demand draft payable to the Registrar of Guru Ravidas Ayurved University in Hoshiarpur, in accordance with the Punjab government's regulation.

After submitting proof of fee deposition to the relevant college within the allotted time frame, the candidate will report for a medical examination and join; if this is not done, the assigned seat will be automatically canceled without notifying the candidate.

In the event of in-person counseling, the candidate must immediately pay the tuition fee as outlined in the Punjab government notification at the counseling location in the form of a demand draft made payable to "Registrar, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University" in "Hoshiarpur." Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif took an important decision for the promotion and development of tourism in Punjab by announcing a 26-member steering committee for the purpose. Senator Pervaiz Rashid has been especially nominated for the Chief Minister Steering Committee on Tourism Promotion & Development in Punjab, while Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb will act as its Convener. As per official notification of the Chief Minister Steering Committee on Punjab Tourism Promotion & Development, the Committee includes Information & Culture Minister Azma Zahid Bukhari, Construction and Communications Minister Soheb Ahmed Malik, Transport Minister Bilal Akbar and MNA Afzal Khokhar. Other members of the Committee include Chairman Planning & Development, Secretary Finance, Secretary Tourism, Secretary Construction, Secretary Information, Secretary P&D, Secretary Forest, Secretary Environment Protection and Secretary Transport. Doctors on strike Today: Government doctors are on strike across Punjab, know how long the OPD will be closed and what services will continue

The Punjab Civil Medical Services Association has decided to go on strike despite the government's assurance. A meeting between the doctors and the government is also going to be held on September 11.

Doctors on strike Today:  Doctors in Punjab are on strike from today. Late on Saturday evening, the government issued a letter full of assurance to convince the doctors. After receiving the assurance from the government, the doctors did not strike but divided it into three phases. OPDs will not be open till 11 pm in government hospitals from today.

The Punjab Civil Medical Services Association has decided to go on strike despite the government's assurance. A meeting between the doctors and the government is also going to be held on September 11. All the demands will be considered by meeting the Cabinet Sub-Committee. The movement is being carried out by the association for the protection of doctors and medical staff in the hospital and to issue orders for increase in regular salaries.

Also, they will not call off their strike unless their timely pay hike notification is issued. The cabinet sub-committee formed by the government will be headed by Finance Minister Harpal Cheema. 

Three phase strike  

After assurance from the government, the doctors have converted the strike into three phases. The first phase will run from September 9 to 11. Meanwhile, OPD services will remain closed from 8 am to 11 am. The second phase will be held from September 12 to 15. In which OPD Services will be completely discontinued. The third phase will take place after September 16. In this, doctors will flatly refuse to do OPD as well as medico legal.

Committees will be formed It is noteworthy that before this, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh had issued a letter late on Saturday evening. In which he gave orders to form committees. According to the issued letter, a committee will be formed for security and prevention of violent incidents in hospitals.

PTI leaders said they were in “no hurry” to reach the federal capital for their “do or die” protest, as workers and supporters from across the country attempted to defy arrests, baton charges and tear gas to participate in the agitation. Dawn reported that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) last week ruled that PTI’s planned protest was unlawful and directed the federal government to take all necessary measures to maintain law and order in Islamabad while ensuring public life was not disrupted. The Pakistan Punjab government extended the imposition of Section 144 across the province for three more days, until Thursday. Dawn noted that the provincial government had originally imposed Section 144 from Saturday to Monday (today) due to the “law and order situation” in the province. It was also reported that the Islamabad administration issued a notification on Tuesday about all public and private educational institutions remaining closed. Senior leaders from the PTI are on their way and some have already entered into Pakistan ahead of the protests. These include the sisters of Imran Khan, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan. Ruling coalition in Punjab loses 27 reserved seats amid controversy

The political landscape of Punjab witnessed a seismic shift as the ruling coalition, spearheaded by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), suffered a significant blow, losing 27 reserved seats in the provincial assembly. The turmoil unfolded when Speaker Malik Mohammad Ahmed Khan suspended 24 women and three minority Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs), disrupting the assembly’s proceedings.

This move, stemming from a point of order raised by opposition lawmaker Rana Aftab of the PTI-backed Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), has thrown the assembly into disarray.

The controversy surrounds the allocation of reserved seats, with the Supreme Court intervening to suspend the Election Commission of Pakistan’s decision regarding the allocation of seats to the SIC.
