A cacophony of voices could be heard outside the walls of the casino, as a new day has begun or well, it would be more accurate to say that the day in the casino never ends. In the city where the majority of humanities vices are legal, the casino is open 23 hours a day, the hour in which a massive break takes place is the time where the business restokes the storage of beverages and food, emptying the machines of the money that people mindlessly lose with the hopes of luck being on their side. Some processes can be seen as automated as the machines and cash register seem to open on their own without a key needed. Though its not the advanced technology that makes it possible but rather a spiritual power.

Glatt was sitting on the bar stool next to one of the most profitable parts of the establishment, some may argue that the only money spend on the drinks is coming from the ghost himself, but he brushes those jokes aside, as they are way too obvious in his opinion. The ghost was leaning back, sipping on the burning booze that was filling up his glass but had no effect on him, using the free hand to wave around with fingers, manipulating the machines to open and empty themselves out. The days were passing in a routineus manner, not that he could complain, after losing the bet, he was in a rather “Win-win” scenario. He can stay and be his own person, instead of being in the need of bringing his alive version back, he had a place to stay, he had a clear purpose, and he was partially in control of things. It did remind him of Manbergs better days with one, noticeably clear difference. Quackity. The duck hybrid clearly changed. Besides of the obvious scar and a different outfit, he seemed more confident, not as naïve, and gullible, he may still not be the tallest person in a room, but he had the voice of a man, who knows what he wants. It wasn’t aligning with Glatts memories of him but sometimes, he could still see the man that he once married. The short-lived stutter in his voice when the ghost calls him an older pet name, the genuine smile that reaches the ducks eyes when he interacts with the younger members of Las Nevadas, the willingness to accept piles of works. The last part caused the ghost to furrow his eyebrows. He couldn’t remember why there were so many piles and why he simply left them on his VPs desk. It didn’t matter now but the holes in his memories were wearing a rather frustrating character. The man shook his head before his dead, amber eyes caught the glimpse of yellow feathers, when the owner of Las Nevadas let himself fall on the stool next to him.

Glatt let out a low chuckle before causing a bottle of strong beverage to float and pour its own content in another glass, pushing it towards the duck hybrid. Quackity looked at the ghost with his one seeing eye before stretching, putting one of his arms on his elbow, letting out a groan, stretching till there was an audible pop in his spine, causing his feathers to ruffle, puffing out before he relaxed his whole body, slamming his arms on the table and allowing his wings to fold tranquilly on his back., wrapping his fingers around the glass with the amber liquid in it, splashing against the transparent walls. -Rough hour boss?- there was a smirk on Glatts face, emitting a slight mockery as…yes in terms of their deal, Quackity would be his boss but none of them really used that term. The duck hybrid only rolled his one good eye, as the other kept unmoving. -As you can tell. We couldn’t get any lobster, so now three of the main dishes on the menu have to be scratched from it, till we get a delivery, two of the staff called in sick and I had to make a few phone calls to get a replacement, Fundy is complaining about needing a parental leave….he knows that we don’t have that here, right? Nowhere in the contract it says that this would be provided. So…I said that he can bring the kid if he has no nanny on this server.- the owner of the casino took a bigger sip from his drink, letting out a hot sigh and slamming the glass on the table, grimacing from the burning sensation in his mouth and throat, causing the ghost to burst into a laughter, which caused the colourful lights of the various machines to flicker. -Ya know, when I asked, I didn’t really think ya would dump this shit all over me but eh…ya know, my advice would be, buy frozen shit, cheaper and gets less worry….and look, I am no fucking babysitter, the kid is gonna get turned into some coat by the first convict. And speaking about kids. Tell the definitely human one to stop putting his damn goop inside the machines. Do I look like a mechanic or maid to ya? I agreed to run this hole, not clean it- Quackity only shook his head. -I will remind him. And…I don’t remember asking for your advice. Besides, you really think people wont notice me cheaping out?- the ghost only shrugged. -They will be too drunk and greedy to notice anything, pumpkin.- the ram hybrids ear twitched at the raising sound of voices talking behind the door, causing him to smirk. -Yar loyal fans are waiting for ya. Wanna get a good luck kiss, eh?- The ghost rested his head on the open palm of his arm, leaning on the bar counter, having a wide grin on his face. Quackity emptied his own glass, jumping off the stool, causing the heels of his shoes to clack against the floor, straightening his dress-shirt before looking at the ghost in a torn suit, under which was a blue sweater that stayed on him despite them being in a literal desert. He narrowed his eyes before scrunching up his nose and huffing. -I don’t need any luck, Glatt.- turning away and looking around before looking down at the ground, feeling the rows of yellow feather on his neck rise and fluff up, smirking before making an 180 turn on his heels, stepping over to the ghost. -But you definitely need some. After all, I expect great profit from your cooperation.- was uttered before the duck hybrid grabbed the man by one of the horns, pulling him down and uniting their lips in a rather passionate kiss. All light in the casino turned on, seeming like they are about to burn on the light bulbs, the establishment filled up with the noise of machines rapidly playing, slot machines were rapidly changing the pictures, the sound of coins shooting out of the winning sections and the repeated, robotic voice shouting “jackpot” was echoing.

Quackity took a step back, using the back of his palm to clean off his lips before walking off, leaving the ghost at the bar, and throwing one last sentence at him. -Seems like you have won something.-

Hello pumpkinduo tumblr! I wrote a fic a while ago that perhaps some people might be interested in. I'm still fairly proud of it and I'm shocked that this is the longest fic I've ever written lol. Knowing me, I'll probably write more c!pumpkinduo fics in the future :P

HELLO !!!!!!! Yes, but not many cause I lowkey forget the name of everything I read. I'm really god awful at summarizing fics but um REGARDLESS my alltime favorite is definitely Unforgiven ... A lot of my personal headcanons are shown in this and I just like it SO BAD. The author is amazing with their craft as well... Bragging Rights ( by my dear friend ramnonymous ) is also a huge favorite :-] ! It's unfinished ( currently... ) but it is really freaking Good despite not having a conclusion yet lol ... I am such a sucker for pre canon-AU's it gets me every fucken time. Sorry for not having more to offer ... I seldom read many new fanfics and even if i do i forget half of them lol x)

Currently I've got 59 things on AO3!! There are a couple more on my long-defunct wattpad though, and I've got a bunch of December whump I need to catch up on too so there will be more

2: What's your total Ao3 word count?

72,774!! Wow!!! And like...90% of that is oneshots! Go me!

3: What fandoms do you write for?

Currently writing for DSMP and QSMP the most atm :O I also write for the PJO fandom, Homestuck, and DR on occasion, too. I get very tempted to write for Stardew Valley and Scott Pilgrim, and I have been. More than tempted to write CareBears stuff too. I'm in deep chat

4: Top five fics by kudos?

(Un)Lifetime Achievement Award, Take Your Secret Son to Work Day, Las Nevadas and the Frozen Fox, Alone I Began, and Of Lost Gods!

5: Do you respond to comments? Why/Why not?

For the most part yeah! I don't get too too much interaction and I just get!! So excited when I get comments! I love seeing what people say and I love to respond! But sometimes I don't, often cause I don't know what to say lol

6: What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

hmmm,,,good question! Probably Why Do I Cry? or maybe Famous Last Words? Gone are the Joys I Knew? I don't really know! I write a lot of sort of mopey sad fics ig LMAO

7: What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

mmmmmmm,,,,not sure for this, either! My Fundy Fluff Week stuff is all supposed to be sorta fluffy which is probably happy

8: Do you get hate on fics?

Not hate, per say, but comments on the accuracy of my characters, which kinda stabbed my ego a bit lol. It was a nice comment! But the way it was worded was so ouchie!

9: Do you write smut?

I've. Been tempted. As of right now I haven't, though!

10: Do you write crossovers?

Another one of me being tempted!! I haven't yet but I LOOOOVE to read them and so I'd love to write one sometime. (We aren't counting my old VLD Steven Universe au.)

11: Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so! Fingers crossed it hasn't happened lol I doubt it would

12: Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope! But if someone were to want to, I would say go ahead! Just send it to me so I can see :D sounds so cool!

Very recently was my first time doing a proper co-write/collab, which I did with my lovely friend Seven! I would love to do more they're so fun (and probably one of the only ways I'll easily end up writing a multichap KEKW)

14: What's your all-time favorite ship?

ouuuuu ive got a lot of pairings I really really cherish. Jercy my beloved, uhhh Valgrace is so silly, I like to consider myself one of The Kamuegi writers ever, and Pumpkinduo kind of holds an insanely special place in my heart

15: What's the WIP you hope to finish but doubt you ever will?

(Un)Lifetime Achievement Award as sad as it sounds. I love it so much and I'm so insanely proud of it and I love the story but there's soooo much planned and the person I was planning it with hasn't spoken to me in a while. I have hope that I'll finish it someday! Or at least get another two chapters out!

16: What are your writing strengths?

Uhhhhhhh,,,,I don't. actually know! I do a lot of flowery sentences ig? and I think I'm pretty good at angst and similar things

17: What are your writing weaknesses?

Making (and completing) multichap fics, getting ideas to write, finding the motivation to write, and I am definitely bad at planning things out in advance

18: Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I've done it pretty sparingly in the past, because I want to incorporate other languages and loooove language, but don't know any of them very well aside from English. But I try to do a lot of research before I add something in, and am 100% open and insistent that someone correct me if I messed up, or if there's another way to go about saying what I'm trying to say, or just to tell me more!

19: First fandom you wrote for?

Never published because I was a kid and it was. So Bad but !!! It was actually for the Minecraft Roleplay series Mary and Dad's Minecraft Adventure (MADMA) back around 2011-2013. I've been in mcrp hell for. a LONG time jesus christ

20: Favorite fic you've ever written?

ohhhh good question. Fullbury Records is very special to me and I'm ALWAYS thinking of what to add to that series, and (Un)Lifetime Achievement Award ofc is also very special to me. I think Heart to Heart is going places once I get back to writing the next chapter, too But I'm also veeeerrry proud of Famous Last Words, and it's very special to me as a projection piece LMAO

I've actually been a DSMP fan since like. 2020 ? Joined the fandom about a week before November 16th, it was the first big event I watched live 👀 It all happened because an artist I originally followed for Ace Attorney content posted an animation meme of two characters I didn't know yet, but immediately took a liking to.....

How very surprising indeed :D But yeah, these two are the ones that dragged me in – this and the awesome art, of course X) The funny thing is, I immediately went on to read fanfics instead of, idk, watching past VODs/best-ofs, and immediately got spoiled 75% of the plot in the process :') But yeah, this isn't exactly a recent thing, I've been around here for over two years at this point 😭 Just never really posted about it anywhere except on AO3 until recently

Regarding characters, as you might have guessed based on, y'know, recent interactions, c!Schlatt's pretty much been my favorite ever since I learnt of the DSMP's existence X) But c!Eret, c!Puffy, c!Punz and c!Wilbur are also among my favorites :D As for groups... god, duo names are going to be the death of me, but I really like Sweaterduo, Pumpkinduo, Prankduo, Stagedduo, Traitorduo, whatever Schlatt & Fundy's duo name is, Sheep Siblings (as in Schlatt and Puffy, I don't typically include Tubbo in there (I know they never really interacted but. They did in my heart </3 (and in this like, one BBH livestream I keep preciously))), the Knights of Eret, and both Manberg and Pogtopia :)

Regarding ships, well, Puffychu comes to mind, of course <3 But uh,,, I also have a,,, certain affection for,,,,, *sigh* Drunz

And, well, my favorite arc has to be the Manberg vs Pogtopia arc :3c I mean, not only is the nostalgia talking, but it's also got my favorite villain (and favorite character overall), sooo many betrayals, Wilbur's fascinating character arc, the beginning of Eret's redemption, the festival, Techno's arrival, the election scene, November 16th– So so so cool, my god <3 I also really liked the Egg arc, but I wish it could have had a more satisfying conclusion than what it had – there wasn't much to see after the Red Banquet, which is a shame because I'm a huge fan of possession stories :< But that's life I guess !

All this to say. Yeah the allegations have grabbed me by the neck and are shaking me like I'm a wet kitten 😔 Though to be fair, I suspect my DSMP x RPZ AU would have made that obvious soon enough anyway 😭

He knows that another flash in the Jay's gaze is caused by the desire to come closer and lick it from his skin, from the bottom up, but not today. As soon as Schlatt twitches, Alex disappears into the corridor, briefly winking at the cowboy in farewell.
