Factory of Darkness: Weapons
I said that I'll post a list if all the weapons in my game, so here it is. Most of the weapons are inspired by WW2 weaponry while some of them are completely fantasy. Quick note: some of the weapons are exclusive to Battle Mode.
Melee:
Dagger: A small and poorly made dagger. Pretty weak, but can be used to escape an enemy's grasp. Will break after a few uses.
Axe: A strange axe made from strange materials. Deals a lot damage, but takes a while to swing it.
Sword: An exotic weapons with unknown origins. Combines the speed of the dagger and strength of the axe. Let's out a blue ominous glow.
Buzzsaw: Used by the Crimson Carrion, it's a powerful mechanical weapon that requires fuel for it to work. The more powerful the enemy, the fuel it needs.
Handguns:
P08 Luger: The handgun of the main campaign. Unlike the other handguns, it has multiple attachments that turn it into a carbine. Carries 8 rounds, but can be upgraded to have a 32 round drum magazine. Originally it was the handgun of the raven army, but was replaced by the P38 because it's expensive to manufacture. Now it's more of a relic the wealthy can afford.
P38: The replacement of Luger, lacks the multiple attachments, but has a high chance of a critical shot. Has 8 rounds. Battle Mode exclusive.
TT-33: A handgun that has the ability to pierce through enemies and armor, but is weaker than the other handguns. Carries 8 rounds. Battle Mode exclusive.
Webley revolver: A revolver used by magpie army. Superior when it comes to firepower, but inferior in everything else. Suffers from a slow rate of fire, reload speed and has 6 rounds. Battle Mode exclusive.
M712: A handgun that has 3-round burst capability, but goes through ammo rather quickly. Carries 20 rounds. Battle Mode exclusive.
Magnums:
Single Action Army: Powerful single action revolver that originates in the far west. Pretty slow on rate of fire and reload speed. Shoots .44 magnum and carries six rounds.
M1911: Powerful semi-automatic handgun originating from the far west. Not as powerful as the SAA, but has faster reload speed and rate of fire. Uses .357 magnum rounds and carries 7 rounds. Battle Mode exclusive.
Shotguns:
M1887: Level-action shotgun from the far west. Perfect for close encounters. Carries 5 rounds.
M1897: Pump-action shotgun used in the trenches of the great war. The width of cone has been reduced, resulting in more focused blasts. Battle Mode exclusive.
Double barrel shotgun: It only carries 2 rounds, each shot does tremendous amount of damage. Uses it's own kind of ammo. Battle Mode exclusive.
Sniper rifles:
Kar98k: Bolt-action rifle. Perfect for eliminating enemies from long distances. Carries 5 rounds
Gewehr 43: Semi-automatic rifle. Faster rate of fire, reload speed, and carries 10 rounds, but is much weaker than the other rifles. Battle Mode exclusive.
M1 Garand: More powerful than the other rifles, but it doesn't have a scope and it's ammunition is pretty rare. It carries 8 rounds. Battle Mode exclusive.
Russian M1895: Lever-action rifle from Russia. Has more magnification compare to the other rifles. Horus' favorite weapon. Battle Mode exclusive.
Combat Rifles:
STG44: The official rifle of the raven, and considered to be the first "assault rifle". Weaker than the FG42, but has moderate recoil, 30 round, and faster reload speed.
FG42: A weapon used by paratroopers in the raven army and security guards in the factory. Powerful, but has high recoil, 20 rounds, and slow reload speed.
Machine guns:
MP18: A weapon with a fast rate of fire, but has weak damage and moderate recoil. Carries 32 rounds. Ra's personal favorite.
MP40: Similar to the MP18, but can be upgraded to have 64 rounds. Battle Mode exclusive.
MG42: A heavy weapon with an overwhelming rate of fire, making pretty hard to control, but it can be pretty devastating, especially in a group of enemies. Carries 100 rounds. The weight of this weapons slows down the user's movement.
Miscellaneous weapons:
Crossbow: A silent weapon that shoots a single steel-tipped bolt. Has a lengthy reload speed, bolts take time before the reach their target, and they travel on a curve, but in return, it deals a good amount of damage.
Elemental Launcher: An experimental weapon capable shooting 3 different types of special rounds. It's single shot, meaning that it's has to be reloaded every shot. The special rounds includes fire, acid, and electric rounds. (Quick note: it's pretty much the grenade launcher from Resident Evil 3, except there is no explosive rounds.)
Scorpio: An odd weapon that has the shape of the scorpion. Similar to the crossbow, except it shoots darts that are weaker, but they inject a poison that damages the enemy over time. Perfect for weakening the more powerful like Guardians.
Ion rifle: A weapons straight out of an sci-fi story, it shoots a beam of pure energy that can disintegrate a standard Carrion. It can shoot up to 10 shots before the battery dies. Can upgraded to have a scope. Inspired by the Lazerkraftwerk from Wolfenstein The New Order.
Rocket launcher: A single-use (meaning that it becomes useless after being shot) with devastating damage. This would destroy even the toughest of enemies, or a large group of enemies.
Staff: A strange artifact with magical properties. Can be used for both offensive and defensive spells. Requires mana. This thing has a lot of history to it, but I am still thinking about it. It even has it's own game mode where you only use it throughout the game.
Throwables:
Stick Grenade: A device that explodes after being thrown. Perfect for eliminating large groups of enemies, but it can also damage the player if they are close to the explosion.
Molotov Cocktail: A bottle filled with flammable liquid with a rag set on fire, will set the affected area on fire for a while. Good for enemies weak to fire.
Flashbang: A device that release a bright light and a ear piercing sound that can stun multiple enemies for a while and can kill parasites. Good for out of control situations. Can be used as a self defense item.
That is all of the weapons in my game. I may either add or remove some weapons in the future, so this list will change at some point.
