Waking up in Time...

"The end of all things is at hand: therefore be in your right mind and full of prayer." - 1 Pet. 4:7

As we make time to draw close to God and confess ourselves to his heart, we will be delivered from the pain of our fears, despite the ongoing darkness of ha'olam ha’zeh (הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה), this present age (Psalm 119:105). As King David said, Adonai ori v’yishi, mimi ira: "The LORD is my light and my salvation" – literally, "my Jesus," my Yeshua – "whom shall I fear? Adonai ma’oz chayai: mimi efchad: “The LORD is the strength of my life, whom shall I dread?" (Psalm 27:1). Yeshua is the Light of Life (אוֹר הַחַיִּים), the Healer of the fearful heart, the I-AM-WITH-YOU-ALWAYS One. His love overcomes all our fears. As the apostle Paul asked, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Rom. 8:31).

If we listen closely we will hear the “footsteps of the Messiah” (עִקְּבוֹת מְשִׁיחַ) approaching. Let us then remember the words of our Savior: “when you see these things taking place, you know that the time is near, right at the door” (Mark 13:29), and let us therefore encourage one another to wake up and come alive: "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you!" (Eph. 5:14). The message of teshuvah (repentance, “turning back to God”) is always, "Wake up - you are living a nightmare." There is only one remedy, and that is found by coming to the Divine Light and opening your heart to the love and Presence of God.

Dans le Psaume 27 verset 4, la  Vision de David est ainsi exprimée par lui-même : "Je demande à l’Eternel une chose, que je désire ardemment: Je voudrais habiter toute ma vie dans la Maison de l’Eternel, pour contempler la magnificence de l’Eternel et pour admirer Son Temple. "  Habiter toute sa vie dans la Maison de Dieu était le rêve de David, car il avait eut la compréhension que la gloire, la richesse, la renommée et le pouvoir qu’il possédait ne pouvait en rien se comparer en rien à la gloire d’habiter dans la Maison de Dieu pendant toute sa vie et de contempler Sa beauté.

Tsarouchis a de ce rêve une vision très personnelle et très profane  mais qui exprime sa propre conception de la beauté absolu. Dans la maison de Dieu donc il y aurait donc dans un coin du paradis, cet homme attablé, torse nu et en short,  le regard insolent, et qui tend au spectateur son pied nu sur une chaise alors que l'autre repose au sol et porte une chaussette. Une vision assez  "fétichiste" de la beauté absolue selon Tsarouchis, pourrait-on déduire... si ce n'est que ce jeune homme n'est qu'un détail de l'ensemble de ce grand tableau qui présente d'autres conceptions de la beauté absolue pouvant peupler la maison de Dieu dont quelques anges-soldats aux ailes de papillons.
