Residents of Chicago are blasting Mayor Brandon Johnson over the city spending more than half a billion dollars on sheltering migrants, with one telling the Democrat to his face during a City Council meeting that he’s the "worst mayor in America."
The criticism surrounding Johnson and Chicago’s New Arrivals Mission – which so far has cost the city $574.5 million since its inception in August 2022 – comes as the mayor is trying to overcome a $1 billion budget shortfall by the end of the year. The City Council held a meeting Monday during which residents voiced their opposition to an approximately $60 million property tax increase floated as one way to help close the gap.
"I got a great way what we can do with this budget. First, let's start with cutting off illegals getting free everything, free housing, free schooling, free food. Yeah, let's start with that. That'll save us a lot of money," one woman told Johnson.
"Let's start there. Then, let's start with you. Your salary. You are going down in history as the worst mayor in America. Let's start with cutting yours. You making too much money," she continued.
CHICAGO TEACHERS UNION SLAMS NEWSPAPER THAT CALLED THEM OUT FOR THEIR MEMBERS’ CHRONIC ABSENCE
Another resident told Johnson that she is an immigrant who came to the U.S. legally and that she is "very, very embarrassed for what my other fellow Latin American citizens are doing in this city on behalf of the people that work, on behalf of the people that pay taxes, on behalf of the people that contribute to the city.
"I like to make clear that not everyone is the same. These people came with a wide door open, and they feel entitled to many things that nobody has. There are U.S. citizens suffering from poverty," she said. "There are U.S. citizens on public aid, and these people are here just enjoying the benefits, becoming delinquents, and they have no consequences."
At one point in the meeting, a resident asked Johnson for his "undivided attention."
"So this just proves to you the lack of leadership that you show in this city. You can't even give me straight eye contact," he said. "Now I'm going to let you know now, the people of Chicago, we're done with you.
Johnson’s office said in April that the goal of the New Arrivals Mission is to "provide short-term, emergency shelter to manage this humanitarian crisis, while making long-term investments in the City’s capacity to handle future challenges related to displacement and emerging migration patterns.
"Since August 2022, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has bussed hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers across the United States. The City of Chicago has received the third-most asylum seekers of all major cities in the country, behind New York City and Denver, with nearly 39,000 new arrivals arriving in the City," it added at the time.
"The City of Chicago, in partnership with the State of Illinois and Cook County, has worked to support new arrivals on the path to self-sufficiency by providing basic necessities including food, temporary emergency shelter, urgent medical care, education, vaccines, and case management and resettlement supports," the city also said.
As of the end of this year, the New Arrivals Mission shelter system will be phased out.
"This transition is in line with the sharp decline in migration to Chicago and our current budget realities," Johnson said in October. "We are shifting to a more cost-effective, equitable, and strategic approach that addresses homelessness for all who need support in the City of Chicago."
Johnson’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday by Fox News Digital.

Excerpt from this story from the Chicago Tribune:
Reid Thompson, a fourth-generation farmer in central Illinois, is in the middle of planting season. Weather permitting, he tends to the fields in the morning, walks home for lunch with his wife and newborn, and then returns to his tractor until sundown. He’ll harvest his corn in early fall, sell it to a nearby ethanol plant, and eventually it will make its way to a car’s gas tank. That’s the routine, at least for now.
Nearly all U.S. gasoline contains ethanol to reduce emissions, and nearly all of that ethanol is made from corn starch. But, electric and hybrid vehicles offer even further emissions reductions. This poses a threat to corn demand that could be devastating for a state such as Illinois, the second-largest corn producer in the country.
The resulting decline in the value of Midwestern farmland and corn prices will hurt farmers and have ripple effects across rural communities, predict University of Nebraska at Lincoln agricultural economists Jeffrey Stokes and Jim Jansen. Rural businesses that cater to the agriculture sector could go under, property taxes that fund local schools will likely plummet and farmers could be forced to default on debts to community lenders, the economists forecast. This would come after farmers have been hit by a series of misfortunes over the last five years: the pandemic, trade wars, inflation and excess supply.
Corn could be the key to solving another clean energy dilemma, though. Unlike cars and trucks, planes are difficult to electrify, and some fuel companies believe the answer to cleaning up aviation lies in America’s heartland.
“(Corn is) the cheapest, most sustainable, most scalable feedstock (raw material),” said Patrick Gruber, CEO of Gevo, one of the companies with plans to turn corn ethanol into aviation fuel.
Thompson and other corn farmers are eager to seize this opportunity in sustainable aviation fuel, another term for jet fuel made without fossil fuels.
But, before corn ethanol-to-jet fuel can be a viable alternative to conventional jet fuel, the emissions associated with corn ethanol production must come down. This will require farmers to change their practices on the field and ethanol plants to implement controversial technologies like carbon sequestration.
Since 2005, the federal government has required transportation fuels to be blended with increasing amounts of renewable fuels such as corn ethanol to reduce air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on foreign oil. The mandate transformed rural economies across the Midwest. Between 2008 and 2016, corn prices rose by 30%, and 26% more land was converted to cropland than would have been otherwise, according to a 2022 study published by the National Academy of Sciences.
Ethanol plants quickly sprang up around corn fields, due largely to investments from farmers eager for the new market to succeed.
The Biden administration established a “Grand Challenge” to produce 3 billion gallons of sustainable aviation fuel — defined as jet fuel with 50% less emissions than conventional jet fuel — annually by 2030. The ultimate goal is to make enough of this fuel to meet all national demand — estimated to be 35 billion gallons — by 2050.
Airlines are on board. United and Delta have both signed advance purchase agreements with numerous aspiring sustainable aviation fuel producers. Currently, however, sustainable fuel only accounts for 0.1% of the jet fuel used by major U.S. airlines, according to the latest federal government data.
The challenge is that creating sustainable aviation fuel costs three to five times more than conventional jet fuel and securing biomasses at scale is challenging. Most of the 24.5 million gallons produced last year were created with discarded cooking oil and animal fat, which are available in limited quantities.

So you know what's coming down the pipeline, so you can retrain and reallocate your workforce, and that means maybe they need to relocate to another company doing another job!!! But there's ways to mitigate this and you can do this way in advance, and this way there is no displacement and you can work with unemployment truly and there is a temporary loss of position as they move to unemployment and through unemployment, they do training, they take the map grant. And the pell grant, and they use this to do training, and then there's other government subsidies, as I showed you to reallocate businesses or relocate businesses and to relocate employees and also to do job training!!!

While there isn't a single widespread charity dedicated solely to covering moving costs for relocating workers, several organizations might offer assistance depending on the specific circumstances, including: local social service agencies, government programs like the USDA Rural Housing Service, veterans assistance programs through the VA, and some employer-sponsored relocation packages; always check eligibility requirements before applying.
Key points to consider:
Local social service agencies:
Many communities have local charities or social service agencies that might provide limited financial assistance for moving expenses, especially for low-income individuals or families facing hardship.
Government programs:
USDA Rural Housing Service: Offers programs for individuals relocating to rural areas, potentially including moving cost assistance.
State and local relocation programs: Some states or localities may have programs to assist individuals displaced due to construction projects, which could include moving assistance.
Veteran assistance:
VA Housing Assistance: Veterans and their families may be eligible for relocation assistance through the Department of Veterans Affairs, which can help cover moving costs.
Employer-sponsored relocation packages:
Some companies, particularly in industries requiring frequent relocation, might offer relocation assistance packages to cover moving expenses for employees.
Important factors to check before applying:
Eligibility requirements:
Each program will have specific criteria regarding income level, employment status, geographic location, and reason for relocation.
Application process:
Understand the necessary documentation and application procedures to access assistance.
Funding limitations:
Be aware of the maximum amount of financial aid available for moving costs.

Oh, cargo ships have to work with every port. Knowing what's going to be offloaded, but what's going to be unloaded in the ports? And they need to put the heaviest loads at the bottom, so they have the lowest center of gravity possible, so they're the stabilist in the water, so they have to figure out When they first mowed the ship starting the heaviest must be at the bottom and then they have to move things accordingly on and off the ship to try to keep the heaviest cargo. At the lowest point in the ship!!! This matters when you're doing a plane. It's not only evening out the load, but it's where the load goes in. The baggage compartment in the plane affects stability. But you know, even the plane that let's go of a bombload or shoots its gun changes the waiting of the plane, and so you have to figure out how to reallocate, even a plane has to take on ballas. To re offset!!!

Yes, placing the heaviest container cars at the lowest point on a ship will indeed lower its center of gravity, making it more stable and less prone to rolling over, as the weight is distributed closer to the waterline.
Explanation:
Center of Gravity:
The center of gravity of an object is the point where all its weight is considered to be concentrated.
Stability and Weight Distribution:
When heavier items are positioned lower on a ship, the center of gravity is lowered as well, enhancing the ship's stability by reducing the "moment arm" (the distance between the center of gravity and the point of buoyancy).
Key points to remember:
Cargo placement is crucial:
Proper cargo placement, especially for heavy containers, is vital for maintaining a low center of gravity and optimal stability.
Ballast tanks:
Ships often utilize ballast tanks to adjust their center of gravity by filling them with water depending on the cargo load.
Impact of high center of gravity:
If heavy cargo is placed high on a ship, the center of gravity rises, making the ship more susceptible to rolling in rough seas.

But ships need exoskeletons so they can handle tanker cars from semis in trains, and it can be loaded into this box skeleton, and then this box skeleton has to have covers on the side. Once it's loaded in, it can't be open air. If it is, then they can place them as open air to allow wind to pass through the containers. And they can use it like a building and then, yes, you can leave it open there. If you need to use it strategically, then press these empty skeletons in the center of the load just to create air passage through the cargo ship, so you don't get a straight wall where the wind shear pushes the ship. All around!!! So these are spacing skeletons taking pressure off the side of the ship to allow airflow to pass through under the cargo containers and truly, it will actually give the ship lift as well. Cause that air is lighter and it will push-up. And the above cargo containers, again. You don't want too much left, but it will lighten the load of the ship in a way and if you place it right. It can control the center of gravity correctly...

Also, it shipping places they will need exoskeletons for the worker. First of all it helps them move, but it also protects them from getting hurt. The exoskeleton puts their body on the inside and the exoskeleton's body on the outside, and it protects them from getting hurt as well in the workplace!!! And eventually in construction, construction, workers are going to start wearing exoskeletons, protecting them from being crushed, helping them do their job, but also protecting them from injury!!!

So on container ships, they have to figure out how they harness the power of the wind and minimize the negativity of wind chair, and not only wind share waves. If the waves are going against them, do they have the waves going with them? Or are they going into the waves or the waves coming across the ship from left to right or right to left? This is shear, not wind share, but it's the same effect as wind share. When the ship gets hit with crossways or cross current, it causes the shift to drift!!! Also can cause great instability in the ship to maintain its vertical!!!
So yes, a ship might have to take an s route... Where at times they're moving parallel to where they're going and then they're moving vertical and then parallel again, and they're maneuvering in not in a straight line... But if they're using it, the waves are helping them move across the ocean correctly, and they're maintaining stability!!! But ships are even worse than buildings because they have current moving under them and hitting their sides and then they have the wind, they have two things, causing issues and they can use the waves to offset wind shear, so the waves could be hitting the ship on the right. The wind share, hitting the ship on the left, which technically doesn't really happen.Because waves in airflow tend to go in the same direction!!!
To handle wind shear on a building, architects and engineers can implement strategies like optimizing building orientation, utilizing aerodynamic shapes, incorporating wind deflectors, strategically placing openings, using wind-resistant materials, and employing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to analyze and mitigate wind forces before construction begins.
Key strategies to manage wind shear on a building:
Building orientation:
Align the building with the prevailing wind direction to minimize wind loads and reduce the impact of shear forces.
Aerodynamic design:
Shape the building with streamlined profiles, rounded corners, and smooth surfaces to minimize wind turbulence and vortex creation.
Wind deflectors:
Incorporate design elements like canopies, awnings, or louvers to deflect wind away from pedestrian areas and reduce wind shear at ground level.
Façade openings:
Carefully design the placement and size of windows, balconies, and other openings to control airflow and mitigate wind shear effects.
Setbacks and spacing:
Create appropriate setbacks between buildings to allow for smoother airflow and reduce wind concentration at corners.
Wind-resistant materials:
Select building materials with high wind resistance properties to withstand wind loads and minimize damage.
Bracing systems:
Utilize structural elements like shear walls and cross-bracing to distribute wind forces evenly throughout the building and enhance stability.
Tuned mass dampers:
For tall buildings, consider incorporating tuned mass dampers to counteract wind-induced vibrations.
CFD simulations:
Use computational fluid dynamics software to analyze wind flow patterns around the building and identify areas of high wind shear, allowing for design adjustments to optimize wind resilience.
Important factors to consider when addressing wind shear on a building:
Local wind conditions:
Understanding the prevailing wind direction, wind speeds, and potential wind shear occurrences in the building's location.
Building height and shape:
Tall buildings are more susceptible to wind shear, requiring careful design considerations.
Pedestrian comfort:
Design strategies should also prioritize minimizing wind discomfort for pedestrians around the building.
Building codes and regulations:
Ensure the building design complies with local wind load requirements and building codes.

Oh yes, sometimes they can use the waves to offset wind shear, so they don't always move in the same direction and you need to understand this which way the waves are going in which way the airflow is going to create a better pathway for the ship!
No, waves and air currents (like wind) do not always move in the same direction; while wind can generate waves, the waves themselves can travel in different directions depending on factors like the fetch (distance wind travels over water) and can even move in a slightly angled direction compared to the wind itself due to the Coriolis effect; essentially, waves can propagate in different directions even if the wind creating them is blowing in a single direction.
Key points to remember:
Wind creates waves:
Wind blowing over water generates waves, but the waves can travel in a different direction than the wind itself.
Wave direction vs. current direction:
While wind can influence currents, currents (movement of water particles) can also move in different directions compared to the waves.
Coriolis effect:

But as I said, ships have to take containers, these circular containers and put them into these exoskeletons, so they fit correctly on a ship....
Also, the exoskeleton can allow these tinker cars to be carried on a normal semi As well...
So it's different than a field truck container, where they need to move it via a field truck.... Because they have these attachments into the container itself... These are to move containers of milk, say or containers of water or containers of chemicals... So this allows you to move bulk of liquid or of natural gas. So they would be put in these protective exoskeletons, protecting them from getting hit, and then they can be loaded on a tanker ship. The circular container in the rectangular exoskeleton can be loaded on the tankership, and load it off the tankership onto a train or a semi... And then yes, it can be move from there into a field truck. But the container, the circular container could have nipples placed on it where you can insert, so it's just like the male and female organ. You can insert a pipe into it and then you can use it on tinker truck... and that reminds me how much I need a girl.... Because I don't understand alternative lifestyle men. There are a bunch of f****** pieces of s*** in my life and pieces are s*** in general!!!! That's why I love my friend. Who had the tattoo above his butt? Exit only violators will be condemned!!!!! I think they should put that on the back of a prison uniform.Exit only violators will be condemned!!!!
So it needs to be a global network between shipping ports, so they know what containers are pending to be loaded on a ship and also what containers are coming off a ship and what containers are remaining on the ship, it may need to be repositioned. So the ship can maintain the best to build the possible!!!!
Shipping ports communicate about pending container loading and unloading through a combination of digital platforms, standardized messaging systems, and dedicated communication channels where they share detailed information about container details, arrival times, and desired positioning on the ship, allowing for efficient scheduling and container placement on the vessel; this often involves the use of electronic data interchange (EDI), port community systems (PCS), and vessel management systems (VMS) to facilitate smooth communication between the ship, port authorities, and terminal operators.
Key aspects of this communication:
Container manifest:
A detailed list of all containers on a ship, including their size, weight, destination, and special handling requirements, is sent by the shipping company to the port in advance of arrival.
Port call schedule:
The ship's expected arrival and departure times, along with the planned berthing location at the terminal, are communicated to the port.
Container positioning instructions:
The port terminal operator provides information on where each container should be placed on the ship based on its destination and loading sequence.
Real-time updates:
Using automated systems like Automatic Identification System (AIS), ports can track a ship's position and adjust loading/unloading plans as needed.
Technology used for communication:
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange):
A standardized system for exchanging information electronically between different parties involved in shipping.
PCS (Port Community System):
A centralized platform where all stakeholders can access and share relevant port operational data.
VMS (Vessel Management System):
A system on board the ship that allows for real-time communication with the port regarding cargo details and operations.
RFID tags:
Radio Frequency Identification tags attached to containers can be used to track their location and status within the port.
Benefits of coordinated communication:
Optimized loading/unloading times:
Efficiently planning container placement minimizes crane movements and reduces waiting time at the port.
Reduced congestion:
Better coordination helps avoid bottlenecks at the terminal and on the ship.
Improved operational efficiency:
By sharing information proactively, ports can anticipate potential issues and take corrective actions.
Container Port Automation: Impacts and Implications

By the way, the wall street journal can be partners with bloomberg because they don't have a tv station and bloomberg doesn't have a newspaper!!!! Investing in Palatine, IL Real Estate: Is Now the Right Time?
Palatine, a northwest suburb of Chicago located in Cook County, Illinois, has long been an attractive area for families and professionals looking for affordability, good schools, and proximity to Chicago. With a population of just under 70,000, Palatine offers a small-town feel while still providing easy access to big city amenities. For real estate investors, Palatine presents an interesting opportunity. Here we'll examine the current real estate market in Palatine and consider whether now is a good time to invest. So, get ready for contact with certified relocation professional.
Tumblr media
Housing Market Overview
The housing market in Palatine remains strong, though it has cooled slightly from its peak in 2021-2022. Home prices continue to rise, but at a slower pace than earlier in pandemic-fueled seller's market. The median home price in Palatine as of July 2022 was $385,000, up 11.6% from the previous year according to Redfin. While bidding wars are less common, homes are still selling quickly at just 12 days on market. Inventory remains tight, with only 1.5 months of supply available. This persistent shortage of homes for sale will likely keep upward pressure on prices.
Rents have also been rising steadily, making Palatine an attractive area for investors. As of July 2022, average rent for a 1-bedroom apartment was $1,395, up 15% year-over-year, according to Apartment List. Occupancy rates have rebounded to pre-pandemic levels above 95%. With rents rising faster than home prices, Palatine remains affordable relative to other Chicagoland areas, offering investors opportunity for cash flow.
Drivers of Demand
Several factors suggest demand will remain strong in Palatine real estate:
Job growth - Palatine benefits from proximity to major employers like Zurich North America, Weber-Stephen Products, and GE Healthcare. Unemployment stands at just 3.1% as of June 2022. New developments like the $300 million Sterling Bay warehouse project on the former Motorola campus will bring more jobs.
Population growth - Palatine's population grew 4.2% from 2010 to 2020, nearly twice the Cook County rate of 2.3%. New residential developments will accommodate demand.
Highly-rated schools - Palatine School District 15 is consistently ranked top in the state. For families, this is a major draw.
Transportation access - Easy access to I-90, Route 53, and two Metra stations make Palatine a convenient suburb. A new proposal to extend Route 53 north could enhance accessibility further.
Potential Headwinds
Despite the positives, some factors could dampen real estate outlook:
Rising mortgage rates - Rates above 5% reduce buyer affordability and dampen demand. Sales may moderate.
High property taxes - Typical property tax rate is over 2% in Palatine, among the highest in the metro area. This could deter some buyers, especially if home prices moderate.
New construction - 2,000+ new residential units planned could boost inventory, moderating price growth. However, construction costs may delay projects.
Overall Assessment
Fundamentals remain generally favorable for residential real estate investing in Palatine. Though the market has cooled slightly from its peak, tight inventory, strong demand drivers, and increasing rents continue to make Palatine attractive. Investors should monitor mortgage rates and new construction closely, but opportunities currently outweigh risks. Taking a long-term view, Palatine offers stable population growth, a vibrant local economy, and accessibility that set the stage for continued real estate demand. For buy-and-hold investors or those considering new development, Palatine offers promising upside potential.

Brandon Johnson, a union organizer and former teacher, was elected Chicago mayor on Tuesday, a major victory for the party's progressive wing as the nation's third-largest city grapples with high crime and financial challenges.
Johnson, a Cook County commissioner endorsed by the Chicago Teachers Union, won a close race over former Chicago schools CEO Paul Vallas, who was backed by the police union. Johnson, 47, will succeed Lori Lightfoot, the first Black woman and first openly gay person to be the city's mayor.
Lightfoot became the first Chicago mayor in 40 years to lose her reelection bid when she finished third in a crowded February contest. The top two vote-getters, Vallas and Johnson, advanced to Tuesday's runoff after no candidate was able to secure over 50% to win outright.
Johnson's victory topped a remarkable trajectory for a candidate who was little known when he entered the race. He climbed to the top of the field with organizing and financial help from the politically influential Chicago Teachers Union and high-profile endorsements from progressive Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. Sanders appeared at a rally for Johnson in the final days of the race.
It was a momentous win for progressive organizations such as the teachers union, with Johnson winning the highest office of any active teachers union member in recent history, leaders say. It comes as groups such as Our Revolution, a powerful progressive advocacy organization, push to win more offices in local and state office, including in upcoming mayoral elections in Philadelphia and elsewhere.
The contest surfaced longstanding tensions among Democrats, with Johnson and his supporters blasting Vallas — who was endorsed by Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois, the chamber's second-ranking Democrat — as too conservative and a Republican in disguise.
Among the biggest disputes between Johnson and Vallas was how to address crime. Like many U.S. cities, Chicago saw violent crime increase during the COVID-19 pandemic, hitting a 25-year high of 797 homicides in 2021, though the number decreased last year and the city has a lower murder rate than others in the Midwest, such as St. Louis.
Vallas, 69, said he would hire hundreds more police officers, while Johnson said he didn't plan to cut the number of officers, but that the current system of policing isn't working. Johnson was forced to defend past statements expressing support for "defunding" police — something he insisted he would not do as mayor.
Instead, he said, he planned to allocate more money to areas such as mental health treatment and youth jobs.
Johnson also released a plan calling for $800 million in new taxes, which he said would be imposed on wealthy people and businesses, while freezing property taxes. Vallas, who had strong support from the business community, said the tax plan would be disastrous for Chicago's economy.

Chicago, Illinois
Living in Chicago, Illinois is the dream of many young professionals. As the center of economic development in the Midwest, the city offers endless work opportunities for many people. But since many people want to move here, it is the 3rd most populous city in the US next to New York and Los Angeles. Chicago offers residents an urban feel with a crowded atmosphere. Heavy traffic is expected especially during rush hours. There are lots of bars, restaurants, and shops with several high-rise buildings. Diversity is also the name of the game in Chicago. People come from different ethnic backgrounds and food cuisine is international. But while there are many happy stories about the city, it also has a high crime rate and many homeless people in the streets.

Willis Tower Skydeck
If you want a 360-degree view of Chicago and its surrounding areas, you should go to the Willis Tower Skydeck in downtown Chicago. The Skydeck is located on the 103rd floor of Willis Tower, one of the most iconic skyscrapers in the city and the tallest building in the world until 1998. The Ledge is its most thrilling feature which extends from the building façade. Standing on transparent floor of The Ledge gives visitors the sensation of floating hundreds of feet from above. Apart from just the view, the Skydeck also features exhibits about the city’s history. But since the place can be crowded especially during peak season, it is best to schedule your visit early morning or late in the afternoon.
Chicago set to provide schooling and additional housing for migrants
The government headed by governor JB Pritzker announced that they will provide assistance to all migrants in terms of food, shelter, and education. But this means allotting more than $94 million of taxpayer’s money to fund the said projects. Just in the past months, Chicago has seen more than 10,000 migrants coming in the city. While the project aims to help migrants settle, this also means moving the money from the long-time residents who feel that they are underserved by their own government. The high rate of crimes and increased property taxes are just some of the issues facing Chicago. We just hope that authorities find a balance between helping the migrants and prioritizing the needs of local residents.

Relocation Trends In Chicago And Illinois
Relocation Trends In Chicago And Illinois
Graphic created by New City Moving.
Are you considering an out-of-state relocation? If yes, you’re not alone. More and more Americans have been taking the big step of moving across state lines over the past few years. With new opportunities — and challenges — created as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are several reasons why this trend has continued and is projected to rise in 2023. Below, we’ll go over what the data has to say about people choosing to leave Illinois and Chicago specifically.
In 2022, the Illinois population shrank by 104,000 residents. It was the third largest drop in the country, behind California at number one and New York at number two. In Cook County, which encompasses the Windy City, there was a sizable exodus of 68,0006 people alone. When surveyed, these former Chicagoans and Illinoisans cited strained finances and work-related issues as leading factors in their decisions. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise since, just like the other two states on the list, Illinois has a high cost of living.
In fact, Illinois boasts the nation’s highest tax rates as well as the second-highest property and gas taxes. These tax burdens combined with inflated rents, elevated mortgage rates and other housing-associated costs make it easy to see why many are seeking greener pastures. In the city of Chicago, rent has swelled year over year, with an 8.6% increase from November 2021 to November 2022. At an average of $1,925, this puts rent in Chicago at the highest it has ever been and more expensive than all other major cities of the Midwest.
Where are these Chicagoans heading? Many are opting to lay down roots down south. With a warmer, more stable climate and significantly cheaper housing, states such as South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina are drawing in folks from all over the country, Illinois included. These locales also offer a suburban setting with more amenities desired by young adults including home offices, yard space and home gyms.
Modern-day employment prospects are another leading contributing factor. The option for remote work has been a major shift in the workforce since the start of the pandemic. Subsequently, more than 4.9 million Americans have credited it as their reason for relocating. Cities like Tucson, Jacksonville and San Antonio have been reported as the top attractive destinations for movers seeking remote work opportunities in 2023.
Lastly, many residents who moved out of the state reportedly did so due to retirement. Although retirement moves only saw a slight increase this last year, they’re up nearly 5% since 2015, as the number of persons reaching age 65 has been increasing yearly.
Want to learn more about 2023 moving trends and why Chicagoans are choosing to leave? Check out the accompanying resource from New City Moving.

And sometimes it's just time to quit. No, I don't listen to music. I'm not interested in the spin you around, never had it before, "let me get this in there anyway."
I've been through the studios, and between psychology (1342) 3:00 mile, and supercharged respiratory, it isn't recreational drugs either. Your body is running so perfect on that every day erythritol buzz, and if anyone even touches it, I'de punch him. Nobody has it, and that crap never will.
So, yeah. I've listened to Creed before.

Freshman year in college. I worked as I played football so I had to go to work full-time. Student full time football program, working every day as well!!!
University of arizona, I played rugby and I worked also and full time student!!!!
So again, I think your lazy f****** pieces are no good f***** pieces of no good f****** lazy pieces and no good f****** s***!!!!
And everywhere I go, you find a way to terrorize me, because how is it possible everywhere I go now and this is prior 2 2016. Never happened now everywhere I go. People are shaking their legs all the f****** time. How is that possible? It isn't unless it's done intentionally!!!! So like everywhere I go. It seems that cars are always beaming their lights on me. Before now, all the time everywhere I go never before tailgating. Now, all the time tailgating and many the other wrongs constantly against me. So where the f*** is my restitution?Where the f*** is my justice?Where the f*** is my righteousness???????
But everybody else has their f***** hand out and they're looking for their free lunch? Well, I'm out looking for a free lunch. I'm looking for justice and righteousness. Where is my f****** restitutiouston? Where is my restitution?Where is my restitution?????
AI Overview
+2
Monetary restitution is a court-ordered reimbursement for financial losses incurred by a victim of a crime. The purpose of restitution is to compensate victims for the actual costs of the crime, such as lost income, property damage, medical bills, and counseling. Restitution can be a vital part of the healing process for victims, acknowledging their losses and providing a sense of justice.
To receive restitution, the defendant must be convicted of the crime. The judge will then order the defendant to pay the victim an amount that is based on the victim's losses and the benefit to the wrongdoer.
Some examples of restitution include:
Property damage: The cost to repair or replace stolen or damaged property
Medical expenses: Hospital bills, physical therapy, and rehabilitation
Counseling: Counseling for the victim and sometimes their family members
Lost profits: For self-employed victims who are unable to work
Other out-of-pocket expenses: Increased insurance premiums or expenses to correct a victim's credit history
Some losses are not eligible for restitution, such as:
State or federal taxes
Interest, penalties, or fines
Legal expenses
Losses for "pain & suffering"
So again, where is my f****** restitution? Where the f*** is my money and god said, if you don't pay me you burn in the lake of fire you're going to f****** burn?He wants me to get my f****** restitution my justice!!!!!!!!!!!
accountable for the same criminal conduct that results in out-of-pocket expenses, losses, damages, or injuries, each defendant shall be ordered to pay restitution in the amount of the total actual out-of-pocket expenses, losses, damages, or injuries to the victim proximately caused by the conduct of all of the ...

So again, where is my restitution? Where the f*** is my restitution and a disability policy disability claim isn't restitution. Welfare isn't restitution, so those aren't restitution, so going on social security disability.
Isn't restitution? I've been paying taxes my own Since I was 6 years old, that is just weak payment. That isn't restitution. Restitution is money for imposed damages. That is not restitution, so that is not restitution. Where the f*** is my restitution???. Killing some of these m************ would be a start part of the restitution. Be nice Starting with off with their f****** heads, that's just a start!!!!!
Do you say justice and rice to this? And as the bible shows you many times like sodoman gomorra, it means killing them all that's part of the restitution!!!!!
Isn't that what we did at the trial during World War 2? And yes, we put japanese commanders to death as well. It's just not germany!!!
Stay Putting him to death was just part of the restitution. It was just part of the restitution, so just like you put the death a murderer and then you go after their assets and their state, putting them to death is just part of the restitution, it is not all of the restitution restitution is more than just putting the person. To death, so starting with killing people, that's the start of the restitution!!!

So again where is my f****** restitution??????? You say you're just in righteous, then off with their f****** heads and then empty their bank accounts into mine!!!! Isn't that what they do? That's what they did with joe paterno, but he had a heart attack over this dress from that, and then they went after his estate and emptied his estate!!!
See he had a conscience, and it weighed heavily on him. Everybody hurting me. They have no conscience. They walk around holding their heads up. They smile, they act as life is great. But Joe, the stress killed him. It doesn't seem to be killing you m************ As you do wrong to me. Why aren't you dropping f****** dead left and right? From a guilty conscience, that's what Joe did. He had a heart attack and died of a guilty conscience. Guilt is supposed to be weighing on you. Just like judas and he died rightfully so!!!! So i'm waiting!!!!!

So again, he's dead is a steak got sued and rightfully, so as I told you he went with those asset protection lawyers and they said nothing we can do from you sense the crime was committed and you ignored the crime, you're a co-conspirator and we can't protect your assets that would be defrauding your creditors? Who are the people that are going to file suit against you? So we can't do anything, and he died shortly after that and wifely, so!!! But you get the walk around here, terrorize me and then you get to do whatever the f*** y** wanna do and you don't have any conscience. If you had a conscience, you would die of a f****** heart attack, but you don't have any conscience like I look at plant people walking around with the f****** head held high. If they had any conscience about all the f****** crimes they've done, they'd be dropping dead all over the f****** place, but it tells me they have no regret, no remorse and they walk around with it, just like I'm down here with the Chinese, the crimes against me and they act like. They can walk around and hold their head high. Unbelievable F****** shame and disgust. They're f****** pieces of f****** no good s***, and how do you see that they hold their head high? What do you think in front of God? You hold your head low. You bowed on because you're f****** showing him. You understand in comparison, your disgrace and the f****** disgust!!!! So there's no holding your head. High muslims know that they get down on their knees, and they do it multiple times a day, begging for forgiveness!!!!
So muslims pray five times a day every day, three hundred and sixty five days a year, begging the lord for forgiveness!!!!!
Muslims pray five times a day, which is one of the five pillars of Islam:
Fajr: Before dawn
Dhuhr: Noon
Asr: Late afternoon
Maghrib: Sunset
Isha: Nighttime
The times for each prayer are fixed and are based on astronomical events. The prayers can take 10–15 minutes each.
Muslims face the Kaaba while praying. At each call to prayer, and at the end of each prayer, Muslims repeat the shahadah.
Some say that the five daily prayers are a way to purify oneself, and that they are like spiritual food. Others say that the prayers reflect the different stages of a person's life, and that they demonstrate the five states that a person naturally turns to God in.
