1930s Horror Film Posters

This was a huge project, and now they're finally all together: A collection of 10 posters for horror movies from the 1930s - with a personal, legally distinct twist! Having my legacy feature actors in the 1930s gave me the perfect idea for Simblreen. Horror movies (especially monster movies) were a huge genre in that decade, so I just had to make my characters star in some of the most famous ones. The text is entirely in Simlish, but the (main) actor names have been changed to the ones of the sims shown on the respective poster, while the others names are the same. Also, whenever a studio is credited, I've changed it to the Plumbob Studio.

Cadet Tech: As unlikely as the situation sounds, it seems there were only good outcomes. One, we got Echo. Two, somehow I discovered the secret to life. I must go through the records the older version of me undoubtedly left for more information.

Rex: Echo, what have you done?

Echo: *hyena cackling*

i feel like the infantilization of lisa throughout the movie was very very real. coming from someone who did deal with being outcasted due to their oddness and mental instability i did deal often with my peers treating me like i was younger than them, acting like i wasn't smart and i saw myself in lisa during those moments. for example, michael and doug calling lisa "kid" or "kiddo" when talking to her or her dad not taking her seriously when showing obvious signs that things are getting worse for her. i often see the adults treating her like a misbehaving child who wants attention instead of a person going through a very rough time in life. they only cared when she passed away. something about the only good victim being a dead one etc.

I feel like, if you know you know for this post, but-

I feel like a young Dr. Easterman would be very, Victor Frankenstein-esk, in how he went about things.

And how he looked.

How skinny he was, slender and tall.

Especially with how people draw him as he gets older, since he has no really canon "look."

I feel like he was young, and charismatic, of course. Handsome, and used his attractiveness as a lure.

Before his brother and wife, at least.

Still cruel, but somehow kind.

The parallels between they are so similar, from the book's version of Victor at least. I can't help but feel like they'd look similar with the mad scientist aspect especially.

That's how I imagine young Easterman to look. Rugged. Messy hair. Blood on his gloves at random. Eye bags the size of a duffle bag. Glasses before he corrected his vision somehow.

Does anyone get what I mean?

i want y'all to know this thing literally almost killed my computer to render. i have a decent pc. by decent i mean i can run elden ring on good graphics with ease. and it was reduced to overworked laptop noises. enjoy my creation

in my defence. i started out sketching poses from pinterest photos. one of them was this one. then i blacked out. before i realized the sketch was tsukasa. but i worked too hard on the skirt and the high heels and sunk cost fallacy kicked in. i could not quit. also this man has me in a chokehold wHY IS HIS ROOM LIKE THAT SEGA I NEED ANSWERS. anyway i got his card this anniversary and my demented farming (ongoing as i was drawing this) probably contributed to why This was created. i hope you're enjoying this. my tablet is wet from my tears.

also i was doing this literally as i was having exams every day. fucking high school finals. trial ones but still. i was staying up to 1 am on the day i had the fucking advanced math exam because i had to draw him. the amount of cards of him i got when i started playing prsk gave me stockholm syndrome. anyway i love him he's silly.
