Why SaaS Reviews Are Crucial
If you’re running a SaaS business, then a review website should be a crucial part of your SaaS marketing strategy.
Online reviews are critical. If you find yourself neglecting this fact, just remember that around 93% of consumers claim that reviews they found on the internet influenced their decision to buy something. It’s also interesting to note that over 90% of consumers aged 18-34 say that they trust online reviews just as much as personal recommendations. These numbers show that online reviews are essential for a SaaS product.

Amazon waiting to renew...
I'm part of the (invite-only) Amazon Preview program where Amazon Studios send you questionnaires about their content to get audience feedback.
A couple days ago I got a survey about The Rings of Power Season 2. It was extremely detailed and took me an hour to complete.
One question early on basically point blank asked how I'd feel about the show getting cancelled (options ranging from "extremely disappointed" to "not at all disappointed").
Take that for what you will.
(Fwiw I do think S3 has been soft-greenlit but Amazon is mulling it over due to the viewership numbers and they will likely retool the show and exert stronger influence, however long it may take and whatever budget cuts this might spell.)

I've been more seriously considering publishing Home Is Where The Hurt Is lately. I'm in the very early brainstorming stages, so don't pin me on anything.
Some years too late but hey. I never really knew where to start and dismissed publishing a little because to me, it doesn't feel like a book or a novel. It's a series. A combination of short stories, tropes, strung together by a little red string of plot and characters.
But now I'm thinking, why not? Self publishing is easier than ever and it would be a very nice project for 2025 to set up.
I'm trying to get inspiration for a cover rn and looking for an editor (who doesn't automatically reject half of the book because it's just plain glorious violence ^^') but the cover is harder than I thought...
Don't mind me, I'm just thinking out loud here, airing some thoughts, and in the first stages of gauging interest. I know some people have already shared their interest (and I love those, like, 3 people dearly ^^) but I'd like to hear some more thoughts.
I'll keep you all updated where I am in the process and once I'm starting everything.

"Careful what you say, it'll bite you like a B*" by C. A. Mullenix, Digital
Boy now this little project took me about a WEEK to finish up proper. between having to go back once to redo the rough drafts, taking an hour to line out each character. TWICE. Then having to redo the flat coloring cause of an issue with the fill tool and J's hair, figuring out the shading, making the character's silhouettes stand out from the BG well, and finally making sure to put my socials around it to make sure others know where I'm at in the end.
All things considered though, this turned out really well in my opinion. Not perfect of course, but for the time put in, it came out great. Hopefully it'll make for a Great spotlight piece for the Murder Drones Fandom, and a fun project to look back on. Still as always, I'm willing to take of any feedback wherever and whenever I can. So, feel free to give your thoughts and I'll be sure to read them.
Unti next time, hope all you fellow drones enjoy this short, sweet slideshow of the Disassembly trio's dynamic in a nutshell

How do you draw so frequently???
I'm starting to think I probably have some passive ADHD so I end up always admiring ppl who can just constantly do stuff, it's like a dream, your art is also like a dream, Vasco is also a sweet dream, I really like Vasco, he looks really sweet
I set aside a little bit of time every evening just to draw, it's become almost like a wind down routine for me. It helps if I don't treat it as serious 100% effort hard mode art time, I usually multitask a little on the side, watch a movie or take breaks to do little chores around the house and art just sort of happens if it happens. Lately I've been making mostly personal low pressure feel-good pieces.

I turned Vox and Feedback into Disassembly Drones!
It was so troubling to think about their hairstyles, I had to make a weird beanie for Feedback to make his tendrils, and I just realized I just turned them into a different version of J and V from how I made Feedback’s design
But I’d say I nailed it
Plus I put the Omnitrix symbol on Feedback’s chest like how the Worker and Murder Drones have a symbol on their chest. I think the WiFi symbol would be good on Vox

Hoohoo~
So, the (generic) product samples finally came in, and I'm making some executive decisions:
Probably gonna do front-side epoxy. I think it'll emphasize the "candy" quality that I originally envisioned for these. With that in mind, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to then have a different back-side design, so consequently (and according to the popular vote), the backside is gonna be mirrored without any additional edits from me.
We're doing 2.5 inches for the size. The popular vote was actually for bigger, but seeing the different sizes in person, 2.5 inches is just about right for the kinds of designs I made, and about what I envisioned when I originally thought of this project. Anything bigger than that just feels excessive for how simple the designs are. I *might* cave and go up to 3 inches, but don't count on it.
At some point, I'm gonna make another survey about some design changes, but that probably won't be a for a bit. I want to provide visual examples of the changes, but the display to my laptop actually broke recently, so I can't really draw or edit anything right now~ ;_;
I still have all my data and stuff, but I've been using a tv-screen as the display for the past few days, and it's more than a little cumbersome to use like this, so until I can get some repairs done, this project is on a slight delay~
But, once my laptop is fixed (which should hopefully be within the next couple of weeks), I'll make some alternate designs, have y'all vote on em, and once that's squared away I'll start production and finally sales~

Hiiii, I'm sick again 🫠
What better time to come to start a new life project that is filling up all my spare time and is likely to span over several years. No that sounds a bit too exaggerated. It's really making me happy right now and I want to get it out there.

Okay I know they're still naked. But I'm working on an equipment system for interchangeability. Feedback welcome!
I'll talk about the game and my ideas in later posts, but I'm not revealing too much when I'm telling you it's going to be a cozy farming sim about goblins in the woods.
I really started it last week and as I'm crazy I started with composing music to motivate myself. I know I needed something to push me over the doubts of only creating bad things. But I managed to finish 3 tracks I really love.
I don't know if I should publish them yet, because I never done something like it and I don't know if it's smart. Maybe it's better to get a trailer ready and publish it within.
For documentation and devlogs I use obsidian, which I set up to fill my needs.
However. I'm not 100% sure yet, but I decided to use godot for now. Here we go 😉 byee
