Would anyone like to fund me enough to sell her to you all
#my art#kasane teto#teto utau#vocasynth#stickers#art#kinda /j but also /gen because I do need to gain money to open an etsy shop for stuff like this#It takes 30 bucks in order for me to create one (30 bucks I don't have currently)#plus I need the wrapping and packages to keep them safe when shipping them out to people- the ink and materials to print and cut- etc. etc.#it's expensive trying to make money

I want to buy a sticker from your shop, but shipping (to Canada) is down as $22 before tax. May I ask why it costs so much to ship a single sticker? Is it Etsy being weird, or does it really cost that much to send an envelope over the border?
I'm not trying to be snarky or passive aggressive or anything, I'm genuinely just kind of befuddled atm.
A fair question honestly! USPS sets the rates for international shipping, and shipping to canada really is about that expensive 😭 I considered sending stickers via envelopes, but 1. if I send them with a stamp (less than $2) they don't have tracking, and etsy Does Not Like That. I gotta send packages with shipping to qualify for star seller, plus it covers your ass in case USPS loses it. and 2. apparently it's illegal to send merchandise internationally in envelopes!! so sadly we're all stuck dealing with the super crazy international rates. I don't like it either because as someone who deals in trinkets, people generally do not want to pay $16 for a charm that costs $12, and they especially don't want to pay that for a sticker that costs $4... I would ABSOLUTELY have way more international sales if USPS wasn't fucking us with the prices but it's out of my control dssdjkfjksdf
I give this advice a lot, but if you don't want to pay international shipping (or just live in a country I don't ship to myself), you can borrow the address of a friend that lives in the states and they can forward it to you! I don't actually know if this is cheaper, but some people have said it is. it's def cheaper for stickers though if your friend uses a stamp!
TL;DR yeah etsy and USPS are Both Weird, sorry ; - ; i assure you i hate it even More than you do lmao
#etsy#not art#ask#anonymous#anon#i think i actually did have like three canadian sticker orders last week all in the same day#one of them ordered multiple stickers but two were just. One. and i'm like. you guys are either rich or crazy but either way i respect it#even US shipping is getting more and more expensive. five years ago i'd pay 2.80 to ship a 1 oz first class package#now its almost $4. even just over $4 if i ship to like California or something!#i'm gonna put a general PSA here to please not be too upset with small businesses' shipping rates even in the US#not to imply anon is or that anybody has said anything! but i do see like tiktoks and social media comments#on Other People's Pages saying like OMG $5 SHIPPING??? INSANE I'M NOT PAYING THAT#amazon has spoiled you guys sorry. shipping isn't free. not only do i have to pay for the shipping label#i have to pay for my bubble mailers. my envelopes. the thermal labels i print on. i recycle my bubble wrap at least but i have to pay#for materials as well. so this seems like a good place to mention it#frankly i shouldn't even have the stupid 'free shipping over $35' thing because again shipping is like $4 give or take 30c by location#but etsy makes me and it Does bring in sales so i'll pretend it balances out

Going on yet another rant about “merch”
If you did not screen print that shirt yourself, you did not make it.
You made the design on it, which I’m sure would be a nice poster or sticker perhaps? Which of course you didn't print yourself, that sounds hard! An embroidered design? Maintaining a 12 needle embroidery machine capable of producing a design with that many colors for the number of orders being received is a lot of work, that's pretty impressive! Not to mention maintaining proper tension on the frame working with a hundred stretchy t shirts, which idk came from somewhere who knows! Your repeating pattern looks very nice on a skirt that you did not make and was mass produced by some Vietnamese person getting paid pennies so that ~50 gay people on the internet could pay for international shipping for a design you “made”. Wow that mug is awesome didn’t know you got into sublimation printing! And have a cylindrical heat press to be able to do not just mugs, but tumblers too! Woah your sublimation set up can do bed sheets (any size)? And shower curtains? And three different shapes of throw pillow stuffed with poly fill, which will never decompose and isn't comfortable to begin with?
Your poorly digitized vector art looks lovely as an enamel pin now that someone else (Who? More like who cares!) cleaned it up for you and then created moulds for and maybe even hand injected the enamel into only for you to sell maybe seven or eight of them. Aw damn your design got ripped off? Who could have guessed that with the distribution power of an entire manufacturing plafffnt that has hundreds, if not thousands of moulds sitting around that they might have used your mould to make themselves a profit for a change! Those money grubbing Chinese bastards! After all, you were there every step of the way, casting the negative of the mould, running the injection of liquid metal into that mould, mixing each color of enamel, and precisely filling each segment of the design, which you refused to simplify! You just can't compromise with art.
Ohhh I see they’re made to order so its more sustainable. So this factory (Guatemala? India? The Philippines? Pakistan? Could you point to it on a map? They just don't teach you this stuff in school!) Anyways this factory in some poor country has to keep your design on file, oh and for your enamel pins they have to keep the mould too! Ahh right but it’s sustainable, because it's a limited run. You’re the 100th person this week to place an order, and they're only printing 50 of your design, you should complain to the manufacturer about how slow your orders are being filled.
I love supporting small businesses - it’s just you after all! With all the hard work you’ve put into fiddling around in procreate who has time to figure out material acquisition, and production runs, and printer calibration, and inventory management, and machine maintenance, and payment processing, and international shipping, and packaging, and
#eaii#accidentally clicked on someones redbubble and they call it that because i started seeing red#i'm so fucking sick of this shit#look i think its great that people have more avenues to sell their art#but idk i feel like i'm crazy for thinking that should actually involve MAKING the art that they sell#the upfront investment is prohibitive I get it#but then connect with someone#preferably who lives on the same continent as you#to produce it locally#and like. a printer capable of printing nice stickers and posters is not like heavy duty machinery#again#expensive - sure#but i can almost guarantee that someone living in your city has a wide format printer they'd be willing to let you use#i make custom embroidered patches#im in the middle of building my own embroidery machine. obviously you do not have to do this#the machines that i use currently i borrow time on from someone else#'where do you get cute packaging?' i have brown paper envelopes that i decorate with washi tape and stamps which people seem to like#'how do you calculate shipping?' i don't usps does that for me#'what happens if an order gets lost?' it sucks and is inconvenient but i send them another one or refund their choice#'where do you get materials?' scrap fabric almost 100% of the time unless its a very custom order i spend very little on materials#i'm not asking anyone to reinvent payment services or whatever like if you want to use your neighbors printer and then sell those on etsy#great! thats what i do!#(and also fuck etsy - for different reasons)#but if you outsource the actual labor of producing the good that you are selling to easily exploitable people on the other side of the worl#im judging you. hard.

Putting the Board Game Pieces Together
Creating a board game by a Board Game Manufacturer is a thorough process that normally begins with an idea and progresses to assembling the game pieces and all of the components, drawing out the game board plan, and eventually producing the game. Whether it's a board or card game, the final product is tailored to a specific audience based on demographics, interests, style, and preferred level of competitiveness.
Game Board
The game board comprises of a cardboard playing area that serves as the game's location and direction. Game boards often include ornamental patterns, instructions, Board Game Printing pictures, and images to help the players along. Using game boards, players should be able to complete a single game from beginning to end.
Playing Cards
Cards can come in several formats, including printed sheets, printed paper, and typical thin cardboard. Cards might be the only component in a board game, or they can be one of several. For example, in Monopoly, cards share the board with other pieces to keep players engaged.
Dice
Few board components keep players interested like dice. Players can't wait to roll them and see what happens. These parts are injection-molded plastic, but they can also be produced of zinc-alloy metal during the production process. They come in a variety of sizes, designs, and colors. Tabletop players, like bowlers and pool sharks, frequently carry their dice bags.
Tokens
Tokens are a general name for components such as coins, chips, chits, and even cubes. Tokens frequently have some kind of value that offers a player a competitive advantage. Tokens are used interchangeably with money in certain games. They can be utilized as game board points. They can be employed in-game to assist a player win.
Miniatures
Miniatures are among the most enjoyable aspects of any board game, and they are frequently an integral element of the game's concept. Characters can be formed from several materials, including metal, wood, and plasticBoard Game Material. Developers frequently build miniatures that gamers may identify with.

Hard to believe Nine Inch Nails' classic The Downward Spiral is 30 years old today! Here is some detail photography I took of the original album cover painting by Russell Mills for the 10th anniversary deluxe edition release, which I had the unique honor of designing, and somehow that is now 20 year old.
Everyone has that one album that hit at just the right moment of adolescence to change their perspective on music and get them through their teenage angst. The Downward Spiral was that album for me, released as it was in 1994, when I was a freshman in high school (and an absolute banner year for music/films/games all around). I must have stared at the artwork for hours over those years, without even much detail to draw from on its tiny 5” CD slip case. So five years later, when I found myself inexplicably working for Nine Inch Nails, it was surreal to see the actual original painting in the flesh, hanging as it was at the time in Trent Reznor’s office at Nothing Studios, New Orleans.
I was struck by how much dimension and texture there was in the artwork that never translated on that tiny slipcase printing, how much detail was happening in the physical materials of the art: Flies, moths, wires, blood… I had been staring at this “painting” for so long, yet suddenly it was like I had never seen it before. I also noticed that it had aged - the wires had wilted over the years, drooping down from their original position as captured in the original album cover (interestingly, judging by the photo posted today by NIN, the piece has since been restored); a tooth was missing from the other main piece.
That experience stuck with me and it was the first thing I thought about when the task of re-imagining the album package fell upon me in 2004. I wanted to re-photograph the artwork, subtly updating the cover to show that ten years had changed it physically, much like our perceptions of art and music and memories change over time with perspective. I also wanted to dig into the previously unseen details of the work and explore it with my macro lens, so that fans like me, old and new, could have new layers of texture to pore over for hours while listening to a legendary album.
Happy birthday, old friend.

Corrugated printed mailer box is a type of packaging materials
A corrugated printed mailer box is a type of packaging material that is made from corrugated cardboard. This type of packaging is commonly used to ship or send various items, products and goods. The corrugated cardboard material is made up of a fluted or wavy sheet of material between two layers of flat cardboard outer layers, creating a three-layer structure. The corrugation provides extra protection and cushioning when shipping delicate and fragile items.
The printed aspect of the mailer box refers to custom branding customization options that are available on the outside of the box. This can take the form of printed graphics, logos or designs on the surface of the cardboard to meet brand standards, company logos, product information or other marketing messaging. This makes the corrugated printed mailer box an ideal choice for businesses looking to enhance and protect their products while simultaneously showcasing their branding message.
Overall, the corrugated printed mailer box is an excellent choice for businesses looking for reliable shipping materials with custom branding options. It provides a combination of durability, space efficiency, and visual appeal to make for a successful product presentation and delivery experience. With proper design considerations and material selection, a corrugated printed mailer box can make an unforgettable impression and convey the brand values to the target audience.
