First Sight

A loud, angry groan was heard throughout the house as Prince hovered around in his room, struggling to think of any lyrics to write, even though he could usually do this in his sleep; as he landed on his bed and put his head in his hooves, his roommates knocked on his door to ask if he was alright.

But Prince only quietly pointed to a toppled rubbish bin by his desk, with sheets of crumpled paper around it, but he could not utter even a single word as his stomach rumbled loudly, and interrupted him; the others chuckled and asked if he wanted to join them to a restaurant near the edge of town.

At the same time, wandering through a quiet forest outside of town, carrying a small sketchbook and a pencil under her wing, Manta let her head hang down as she headed home, where she idly tossed her materials on a chair, dropped onto her bed, buried her face into a pillow, and let out a deep sigh.

After laying around for some time, she turned her head to look at her sketchbook, only to find that her eyes were welling up with tears, staining her face and pillow; ever so slowly, Manta rolled out of bed and called her friends, hiding her strained voice, asking them to join her for dinner later.

Though it was just a small restaurant some distance away from the city centre, it was famed for its impressive buffets and its cozy, homely atmosphere, and after the two friend groups arrived, Prince and Manta's moods were easily lifted by chatting with their friends, before they got up for dinner.

But as they were talking with their friends, they did not pay attention to where they were walking, and neither Prince nor Manta realised how close they were, until a moment later, when they ran into each other and fell, shattering their plates, and spilling food all over each other and themselves.

Both Manta and Prince started to apologise for their clumsiness, until they met one another's gaze, for they saw a sparkle in the other's eyes, and they froze as bright blushes formed on their faces; but just as quickly as they had started to blush, did they turn around, and return to their tables.

With their wings folded over their heads, failing to hide their bright, unfading blushes, and their ever growing smiles, neither Prince nor Manta could utter a single word to their friends; they only blathered whenever they tried, before discreetly peeking at the other and hiding their faces again.

To either their relief, or dismay, they knew not which, the evening swiftly flew by, but Prince and Manta failed to stop thinking about each other, which was immediately noticed by their friends, who invited them along more often, but they never dared to step up whenever the other was with a group.

Eventually, after an incredibly productive day for both, filled with renewed inspiration, they went to the restaurant by themselves, where, in the same spot they ran into each other, they did so once again, entirely unstained by food or drinks, and they smiled as they finally introduced themselves.

Their faces shone a bright red and grand smiles grew on their faces, as they hovered to a corner of the restaurant, where they accidentally, yet constantly spoke over the other whenever they tried to talk, until Prince raised his hooves, allowing Manta to speak, whereafter she asked him for a date.

With a sparkle in his eye, Prince only quietly replied:

"I-I wanted to ask you the same thing…!"

Like what happened with my NepJade post, I asked a friend about what to do with DaveNep and their response was to draw Dave showing Nepeta his fursona! I took the opportunity to draw them in fursuits as well, haha.

I headcanon Dave as getting just the headpiece, gloves and shoes to wear with his regular clothing while Nepeta has a japanese Kemono-style full fursuit of her blue kittysona! :33

Hi I'm thinking about Prince whateverer's song "elemental"

The line "us six can't be accidental" like.... I love that 🥺 a whole academic paper could be written about the trans/queer allegories that could be written about that one line.... About finally finding a queer support group and friends and lovers and elders and siblings and cousinfs.... And finally fitting in in such a new and unique way that you never did before. About being accepted for who you are and not merely tolerated, but loved for it.

First Date

The Sun had set, and the Moon had risen high into the sky, when Prince opened the door to his home, wearing a big, unfading smile, and a bright blush on his face. He hovered inside at a snail's pace, where he landed on his bed and buried his face in a pillow, trying to muffle his ecstatic laughter.

To nopony's surprise, his silly giggling was loud enough for all of his roommates to hear, who went to his room to find him gently hugging his pillow on his bed, and blushing even harder than before. They could not help but smile when they saw his expression, and wondered about his date with Manta.

As Prince hugged his pillow more tightly and chuckled, he told them: "Well, you know I went to pick her up after breakfast. I can't properly explain how nervous I was when I knocked on her door, with a small bouquet of flowers. But when Manta stepped into the sunlight, I felt my heart skip a beat."

To his relief, his roommates stayed quiet anytime he got flustered, and he continued: "I will never forget her smile when she saw me holding the flowers, but as she was still getting ready, she asked me to step inside. When she grabbed my hoof, I was speechless, so I just nodded, and followed her."

"Manta has looked fantastic from the moment I first saw her, so I didn't notice anything, until she said she still had to brush her mane. I felt butterflies in my stomach, and a lump in my throat, so I just nodded, and waited until she was ready, which took as long as it did for me to find a vase."

"I had planned out the entire day, so after we left, we went to a small café, where we had some tea and cake. My heart melted when she drank her tea, and I noticed her flittering wings. After this, I took her to an animal rescue home, where we spent time feeding and petting the litters they saved."

"She had such a bright smile on her face as she sat there with dozens of puppies and kittens around her. The wonder I saw in her gorgeous eyes, welling up with tears, as she held those little ones so gently and carefully. Though the staff was very thankful, it broke our hearts to leave them there."

When they saw how red his face was, Prince's roommates gave him some water, as they expected him to start whistling steam. He laughed, and thanked them, before he said: "We had lost track of time, as it was nearly sundown when we left, so I had to skip some things I planned, and we went to dinner."

"A restaurant away from the centre of town, where both of us frequently went. I've got so many fond memories of that place… And now, I can add meeting Manta, and having dinner with her on our first date, to that list. After dinner, I brought her home, where she took my hoof, and she gave me a k-"

As his face started to turn even redder than before, and he put his head in his hooves, Prince told them: "It was the best day I could have asked for, and Manta made it even better. To think we could have missed out on meeting each other… I cannot properly explain how lucky I am to have met her."

"I just hope she feels the same way…"

No, cus you don't understand. Brony music gose hard. Love or hate the fandom, them musicians be talented and although most of us dropped the actual pony stuff we where obsessed with in our cringe, buck wild tweens, most ppl I know still listen to the music.

Anyway, Danny's fighting nocturn and Danni just starts BLASTING Prince Whateverer's cover of nightmare night. Danny just stopped for a second like O.O? ...0^0!? Ik that song...

And he just turns around like 'YES DANNI!!'. Its a vibe.

Danni gets ahold of the aux cord? She plays DISCORD. Sam and Tucker and confused. The other two are rapping for there lives and Danny actually manages to get most of it right! Don't ask him why he can do that...

The big kicker is when Dannis just vibing to music and Danny takes a peek at what she's listening to and it's just. Rainbow factory 10 hr vertion. On repeat.

'Y...you good danni...?"

She looks at him with the most dead eyed stare he's ever seen outside of the mirror.

I am genuinely so sorry for what I’m about to say, from the bottom of my heart, I truly do regret my next words, but… Dani would be one of those “horror ipad kids”, like, she’s obsessed with creepypastas and grimdark fics, MLP gore art and animations, obsessively plays those roblox horror games that definitely shouldn’t be available to kids, has her own FNAF OCs etc. etc. She tells you that she wants to show you this “Real cool youtube video it’s so awesome!” and it’s like a 3 minute clip of some cartoon character going insane being trapped in the backrooms or whatever. Her only connection to media for kids is through internet horror, she saw all kinds of art and videos about Squidward’s Suicide before she even watched an episode of Spongebob. I think the only exceptions to this were MLP, which she discovered though her love of horses and ponies, and kid friendly media Danny liked at some point in his life, which Vlad forced her to experience since she’s a clone.
