It’s uncharacteristically grim on the plains of Debray. Rains pelt the tall green grasses, flattening them in a slanted downpour that dims the horizon. Clouds blot out the daylight and lend to atmosphere of unease in the warring lands.
Behind the castle walls, one can forget about the bloodshed staining the counties red, though it is all the dukes and his audience can speak of. The lords that bluster through those gates, sometimes at the toll of morning, some in the black swathes of night. You can’t count them all, you can name even fewer, but they come anon and leave just as brusquely.
A peel of thunder shakes the land and a dark line limns the curve of the horizon. What appears first as a storm cloud advances quickly through the fields, appearing more clearly to the naked eye, distant nonetheless. Men. Another party fast on the approach.
The alarm goes up at a man’s holler. Ethred, man at the gate hollers to the other men in mail. Niam peers out from the vantage of the tower and calls back down. A hush falls and bodies scurry all around, metal clinking and boots crunching. There’s something amiss. Something you can’t quite place.
You turn away from the window, the steam rising from the basin in your hand swirling around your head. You carry on down the corridor, wool skirts around cautious steps as you balance the swaying water in the vessel. You approach the lady’s door and give it a rap with your knee. Merinda, another handmaid, opens it from within.
You enter without a word and place the basin on the vanity table. The duke’s daughter preens herself with a painted fan, fluttering her lashes at her reflection as her curls spill down her long back. She tilts her head this way and that. She snaps the fan shut and puts it down, touching her soft brown cheeks with a devilish grin.
“Do you know what father mentioned last eve?” Jazlene asks with a vain flutter of her lashes.
“What did he mention?” Her mother, Lady Rezlyn prompts lazily as she plucks another cherry from a dish heaped in fruit.
“A husband,” the daughter grins coyly at herself, “it is well due, isn’t it, mother? Who do you think it might be? Lord Gai, perhaps? He is young still.”
“Perhaps the Earl of Mesafin,” her mother taunts back to a disgusted gasp.
“Do not,” Jazlene pouts, “I could never... I am much too pretty for that haggard beast.”
“Well, then, who might you have, precious?” Rezlyn goads.
There is a clamour in the hall that keeps the younger of the woman from answering. She rolls her eyes and darkly glare at the door. You peer back behind your shoulder as a wail goes up carrying her father’s name; ‘Lord Dustan!’
“What is all that?” Jazlene whines, “as if it isn’t enough with the rain and the winds. It is summer!”
“It’s always summer in Debray, darling,” Rezlyn scoffs, “otherwise I’d have never married your father. Pray you don’t hook yourself a winter lord.”
You peek over your shoulder as you stand near the door, in your vigil, awaiting your next order. You face the ladies again as the elder continues to feast and the younger fusses over her thick brows. You scrunch your lips back and forth, a habit that often has your jaw aching.
Jazlene turns to narrow her eyes at you, “what is it then? What has you making faces?”
You bow your head, appeasing her ego, “my lady, there were men coming. A party approaching from the north.”
“There are always men,” she shakes her head, “who was it then? Anyone I should wear silk for?”
Her mother laughs, “I warn you, daughter, that trite tongue will not endear any husband.”
“I do not know, lady,” you answer.
“Ugh, useless, must I work as my own handmaid?” Jazlene tisks, “come, pin my hair. Merinda find me a gown. Mother... wipe the dribble from your chin.”
“Eh, watch yourself,” Lady Rezlyn rises and wipes her lips with her sleeve. She wears muslin in a dark shade of burgundy, embroidered with little copper finches. “Or hope you marry above me before you lash that tongue at me.”
Jazlene merely trills with laughter. You take the pins and work at twisting her fine curls into place. Merinda brings to her a dress of teal satin and is promptly shooed away, “something pink. It brings out my bosom.”
You ignore her bawdy jest as her mother harrumphs. You work in quiet tandem with the other handmaid. You add a touch of paint to the lady’s cheeks and kohl around her eyes. You tint her lips with pigment and she pushes out her lips at the mirror. You help Merinda dress her, pulling the noble daughter’s corset tight enough to leave her lightheaded.
The pair of ladies, elder and younger, leave the chamber with you at their skirt tails. They sweep through the corridors with chins up. They are queens in their own minds. Their fine dresses and sparkling gems are untouched by the disparity of war. The lives lost are squares on a game board, tawdry talk for men in their studies.
“Lord Dustan,” Lady Rezlyn mimics the earlier call for the lord of the castle, “my husband. Dear, dear husband!”
The women go to the banister and look down upon the great hall as the flurry continues below. You and Merinda loom behind, not daring to stand at a level with the pompous nobles. You have never volunteered yourself for their impetuous lashings.
“Woman!” Dustan booms back up, “do not trouble me now.”
“Oh, has another lord come? Perhaps a suitor for our lovely daughter--”
“Cease!” The duke demands hotly, “now is not the time for womanly games.”
“Tell me it true, husband, she will be an old maid before you find a suiting son-in-law--”
“Go away to your chambers. Now. The men who come are not to be trifled with and you lot do trifle overly much!”
“Bah! Oh do not be so uncouth!” Rezlyn decries.
“Father, please, is it a husband?”
“Go before I send my guards up to put you away like thieves in a dungeon. Hear me when I warn you that this does not concern you. Not as yet,” Dustan snarls, “you would spoil this war with your puny concerns.”
“Ugh,” his wife puts her hand to her forehead, “he does tax me. All I ask of him is to take care of us, daughter. As any husband should.”
“I should have your lips sewn shut!” Dustan rebukes hotly, “be gone before I find a tailor.”
The women share an aghast look. The turn back to flutter away in their skirts. You and Merinda follow them to the drawing room, closing them in as they fall onto the velvet cushions. Jazlene reclines dramatically on the chaise as her mouth mopes on a sofa.
“Shall I be alone forever, mother?” Jazlene snivels, “why won’t he let me marry?”
“He only wants to find the right man, that is all, darling,” Rezlyn coaxes. “He is overprotective and that is good for it means he will find a husband for you with a similar bearing.”
“Such sweet words cannot convince me. He punishes me. When all my lady friends have wed and borne a whelp or two, I remain with the dust and stone.”
“Do not be theatrical,” Rezlyn girds, “you are silly.”
“I am not silly, mother. I am afraid. I am twenty and three and I have no suitor. I have only a war butchering any man who might have my hand. Why must this go on? Why must I suffer for the gripes of stubborn kings.”
“We cannot fear. This war will be won and you will have a knight for a husband. Isn’t that better? To have a warrior you can be proud of than some bookish lord in his tower?” Rezlyn stands and moves to sit with her daughter, petting her as she cooes, “oh my beautiful, no man can resist you. You will see.”
⚔️
Some hours pass with the restless women, pacing and chattering, about careless things beyond marriage and war. Like needlework and a banquet that should be had upon the truce. Would that the day would come sooner.
You and Merinda stifle yawns that pass between you. The act is contagious as you stand in the tedium of the wealthy and wait for a duty to be called upon you. The hours you spend watching the women preen and swoon make you envy the stable boys and the shit shovelers.
The noise beyond those walls continues. You heard the moat open and the clopping hooves of horses, even the clatter of carts. The voices had since hushed but footfalls carried back and forth. The wordless activity betrays an air of impatience, almost of nervousness. As the ladies within mirror the sentiment.
Finally, as the windows darken and the candles burn brighter, a knock shakes the door. The ladies snap their heads around. Merinda is asleep on her feet as you move first. You open to a man in grey and black waits on the other side. He is not Lord Dustan’s.
“The duchess and her daughter,” he garbles through a mouth that sounds full of salt.
You dip your head and look to the ladies in question. There is a tension, of unease, of unknowing, of excitement turned to dread. This is not as it has been. There is not call to the dinner table. There is no buoyant introduction of a lord Dustan met as a young scamp. There is silence and fear. Has someone died? Has a battle been lost?
The women emerge and greet the man with niceties and tight-lipped simpers. He does not pay them heed as you and Merinda exchange looks. You trail after the ladies but the man stops. He turns back, a hand on the pommel at his waist, and sneers, a furrow in his brow.
“One of ya,” he grits.
Jazlene says your name. She must’ve noticed Merinda swaying on her feet. If she even cares so much about a maid. You keep your head down and follow as they press on. Down the corridor and around the duke’s study, recently deemed his war room. You’ve never been within. It is not the domain of women.
The grey and black soldier thumps on the door. Mother and daughter clasp hands. Even they can sense the unusual frigidity. The door opens from within. It is Lord Dustan. He wears a serious look on his lined face. The ladies are beckoned in and the soldier nudges you after them as you hesitate.
Lanterns light the space from the desk at the rear of the chamber. The large table draped in maps, wooden horses, and little wooden pucks stands central on a thick rug. A figure stands behind it, head down as his burly and broad silhouette seems to sop up the shadows.
The ladies follow the duke to stand across from the man. His head is down as he slides a horse along a road on the map. He stops it and grips it tight. He looks up and the lantern light dances on his features. You suck in a breath, as the rest do, stunned by his appearance.
His hair is white, his eyes are a goldish yellow, pupils deep pools of black, and his square jaw is just as thick as the rest of him. You have never seen a man like him before, but you have heard of one. Of him. King Geralt of Rivia.
You stand in similar confusion to the ladies. Their silent confoundment is broken by Duke Dustan as he nears the table. He sniffs and presses his fingers to the table top.
“Your highness, my wife, Lady Rezlyn, and my daughter, Lady Jazlene,” he introduces.
The women glance at each other then curtsy to the white king. He watches them dully. You fold your hands, taking it in curiously. It is rather something to witness the scene. You are so unimportant as to not be a part of it.
“Your highness,” the recite, “it is...”
“An honour,” Dustan finishes for them, “of course it is. We fondly welcome you and your allyship. We hope that we will be essential in ending this war. In helping you attain the peace you have so valiantly fought for--”
The king raises his hand to silence the lord. You can’t help but quork your head. Allyship? But King Geralt, he is of Rivia, he is of the hinterland, he is the one who invaded the summer country and bid it his own. He is the foe. That is what they told you.
“Enough...” the king speaks in a silty tone that scrapes in his throat. His eyes wander over the women and narrow. You wince as your own meet his golden irises and you shy away, putting your chin to your chest. That’s a mistake. “...words.” He slaps his hand down, “you do not win wars with words.”
“Yes, your highness, you are correct. I know it well. It is why I invited you here. It is the very reason I made my entreaty. You have my men, they will win this war for you.”
The king is hardly impressed by the fact. He looks back to the table and moves the horse further before turning it back. He knocks it over and stands completely straight.
“And the daughter of Debray, your highness. To have a wife of summer’s blood, men will bend the knee. If you show them you do not mean to eradicate but to join with them,” Dustan moves to stand closer to his daughter, “isn’t she a fine queen for a fine kingdom?”
Jazlene swoons and falls against her father. She’s fainted. Rezlyn grabs onto her other shoulder and you peek up at the chaotic scene. You come forward to help, snatching a pillow from the single couch, and you place it under Jazlene’s head as they lay her down on the floor.
A shadow shifts as Dustan and Rezlyn fuss over their daughter, fanning and calling to her. You look up as darkness clusters over you. You see the king staring down at the scene. No, not them. He staring at you. Before he can reprimand you, you put your head down.
You must quit that lest you find yourself at the wrong end of a switch.

okay this is so vague but a something for lewis based off the song pretty please by dutch melrose ?
I LOVE DUTCH MELROSE OMG I ABSOLUTELY CAN. also this one is dedicated my simply simply lovely bestie and horny ride-or-die (not like that) pookie @vivi-81 who has recently converted to being a lewis hoe <3 love you bestie
this fic is multiple chapters because i couldn't help myself! writing this dynamic is really really fun and i'm going to do my best to finish the fic by 15 september, but here is a teaser of the first chapter and the release schedule/masterlist!
Tumblr media
this fic spans literal years. prepare yourselves yall because you're in for a WILD ride lol
teaser (this post): 4 september chapter 1: 8 september (🌻/🥀) chapter 2: 22 september (🌻/🪷) chapter 3: 8 november (🌻/🪷)
teaser below the cut!
the conversation continues easily as the two of you finish your breakfast, then, as you begin to prepare yourself to stand and leave, he stops you. "actually, there's one last thing i wanted to do before we went on camera."
your head tilts in confusion as you set your signature lipstick back in your bag, a deep red balm that you've used since you started working at vogue. it's become your trademark product, and almost everyone in the office knows exactly which one you use. "do i need to be worried, lewis?"
"no, not at all! it's this," he says, and your eyebrows rise in complete and utter shock when he pulls out a small box wrapped in white paper and a crimson bow wrapped around it all. "i wanted to get you a gift as a way of saying thank you for all the curveball questions you've thrown at me this year." your hands shake as you take the box from him, and you already know exactly which brand it is. cartier. sure, you've written pieces about their timeless looks and elegant aesthetics, and owning a piece of their jewelry has always been a dream of yours, but it's always been just that: a dream.
"lewis, i can't accept this. i- i'm honestly at a loss for words. seriously, no." you can't help but flush at how he's looking at you, those annoyingly beautiful eyes of his and the stupidly perfect crow's feet that only show up when he really smiles- when he smiles the way he is now. gods, amelia was right. you really are down bad for the driver.
"please, just open it up. if you don't like it, i'll take it back and you can choose something you prefer." he nudges the box towards you once more, and the crisp wax seal that sits on top of the paper is incredibly enticing.
"are you serious?" a part of you wants to think that this is some sick joke, that there's cameras on you and it's all going up on one of those prank channels on youtube. a much, much bigger part of you believes lewis, though. that is the part of you that takes the box between your shaking hands, carefully pops open the wax seal, nimbly unties the beautiful ribbon, and gently unfolds the pure white paper. when you finally open the box, you gasp, tears threatening to well in your eyes. "lewis..."
"do you like it?" his voice sounds anxious and hopeful, and you can't help but realize how much thought he'd put into this gift. when you'd invited him into your office to review some photos that were to go into an article in the next vogue issue a few months prior, he'd seen the vision board on your wall and asked about it. bashfully, you had explained to him that it was a silly idea you had when you graduated from uni with your friends- each of you made one, cutting and pasting photos from pinterest, magazines, newspapers, and anything you could find, assembling your dreams in a mishmash of colors and ideas. one of your dreams on the board had been to own this exact necklace- the cartier juste un clou necklace in white gold. the fourteen diamonds set in the precious metal glitter back at you, and you can't help but smile.
"i love it, lewis. thank you so much." he visibly relaxes, his shoulders loosening and the crease between his eyebrows disappearing.
"i'm glad. here, turn around. let me put it on you?" you happily oblige, lifting your hair out of the way after you stand so that he can fasten the delicate clasp over your spine.
it's safe to say that both his and your fans noticed the necklace hanging between your collarbones, sitting just below the star necklace you wear daily on top of your dark grey high-collared shirt. you try your best not to look at the comments on the videos of your interviews, but amelia had shown you one that day after the unedited interview went up online.
"are they dating or something? i can't get over how lewis looks at her."

Week 3 of writing workshop with @bettsfic & @books
Stories of a place:
The place I wrote about was Rokkō Island in Japan, and the surrounding area where I used to live.
I only used the common facts that anyone could find out.
1. The Rokkō Liner is an automated tram that transports people from the mainland to the manmade Rokkō Island.
2. Kobe was hit by a devastating earthquake in 1995.
3. Rokkō Island was made by taking the top off nearby mountains and compressing them to form new land in the ocean.
Tangled Up In Blue:
The tram snakes its way across a thin stretch of vibrant water, a thousand crystalline waves dance far below its metallic carapace. Inside, it carries precious cargo. The kind of cargo that thrums with the rush of blood and the spark of life, the kind that reads the morning paper and taps away at their cellphones. The tram is a noble beast, and it carries its task of transport out with no direction, no driver at its helm. It’s an entirely automated system, ferrying travellers from the densely packed mainland Sumiyoshi to the equally dense Rokkō Island. A commuter tram for many, as Rokkō Island houses few attractions and the heavy boom and bustle of harbours echo from its shores. This island is a freak of nature. It has been stitched together by the hands of mankind, mountains ripped from the earth and shoved into an orderly rectangular form. A picture perfect piece of the modern industrial world.
The tram, the Rokkō Liner, announces its destination to the passengers in singsong Japanese and again in a similarly musical yet somewhat mechanically clumsy English. Many, many foreigners, live and work on the island. Stacked into towerblocks and gated housing complexes, these expats make their livings in finance, shipping and translation. The early dawn illuminates a sea of suits, Japanese and foreign salarymen shuffling to work. Their faces are lined with stress and their company-issued tie clips shine in the newborn sunlight. One of them trips and falls, his briefcase letting loose a deluge of papers onto the pristine pavement below. He looks up at the sky, a tangle of telephone and electrical wires crisscrossing from granite apartment to granite apartment, and beyond that a vibrant cloudless blue. His suit is scuffed and he’s grazed his palm, but no one stops to help him up. So he’s left to shake himself off and pick himself up, as his spreadsheets and quarterly reports are pulled away by the soft morning breeze. He sighs and that too is snatched away by the wind. His boss isn’t gonna like this one bit.
His boss, the one who requested those quarterly reports to be on his desk by nine am at the latest, is sitting on the Liner reviewing a book his wife recommended to him, on Goodreads. He’s giving the thing, an American book called All The Pretty Horses, five stars. He’d sat down to read it one evening, with a glass of port in one hand and a cigarette in the other. After three refills of port and eleven more cigarettes he was done and, despite his insistence to the contrary, there were tears in his eyes. And tears freely flowed again when he conversed with his wife about the book over breakfast. Something about the book’s message of freedom and hope was inspiring, and made him hark back to the days of his youth. He was once a young revolutionary student who campaigned to end uniforms and for the school to stop getting funding from the nearby American airbase. He used to be a free spirit, used to wear a beret to school and sport Groucho Marx style glasses. Used to quote Karl Marx to teachers and Keats to fellow students. Used to organise film festivals, write in the local newspaper and mitigate street showdowns between young Yakuza members. And then he’d grown up. Life had caught up to him, forced him into a suit and pushed him through the sliding doors of a faceless office building. And he’d lost the joy in his life, crushed by timesheets and shipping mandates.
The review he was writing, on his wife’s account, was full of beautiful prose and cascading metaphors. He unleashed his creative streak, the one the grindstone of society had oppressed, and crafted an excellent essay-like review of McCarthy’s book. While writing this, his mind filled with such raw emotion, he let loose just one more tear. The teenager sitting across from him pretended not to notice him wipe it away with his shirtsleeve, which had been neatly ironed the day before by his wife.
The boss’s wife, an American-Japanese woman who’d grown up in Kobe, had first discovered Cormac McCarthy in a quaint little bookstore tucked away in the shadow of the Kobe Tower. The red light spilling from the tower reflected on the window display, dousing all its contents with an eerie blood-red glow. She’d taken shelter in there, as it was raining something awful and the karaoke bar she’d been at had closed early due to a leak in the roof. It was late at night, she was quite tipsy and in no mood for the noise and light of a train station, so she tapped on the window of this bookstore. It was closed, but light was spilling from a beaded curtain partitioning the shop from its backroom and her hurried and frantic tapping soon altered the owner. He was a man around her age, his eyes were ringed with the telltale dark circles of the sleepless. He wiped a stray eyelash away from his eye with one slender hand as the other fumbled for the door key. She wondered, somewhat drunkenly, if he was single.
He let her in, gave her a cup of green tea, and asked her, in excellent English, “What the hell are you doing dancing around in the street during a typhoon?”
She admitted to being a little drunk, and he gave her a blanket and a book, telling her to rest while he finished up his work for the night.
“Then what?” She enquired, but he clearly hadn’t heard her, as he’d slipped through the beaded curtain into the shop and was busying himself with the shelves.
Having no real other option, she took a sip of the piping hot tea and blearily glanced at the book.
The cover was well-loved, the spine supple and the edges fraying. Emblazoned on its front were the words: No Country For Old Men by Cormac McCarthy.
She took one more sip of tea, and began to read.
Eleven years and a long marriage later, she’d finally recommended the author to her husband. She knew he loved old Clint Eastwood films, and she knew something of his creative side, remembering him writing her elegant haikus when they’d just started dating. They’d been quite distant as of late, with her time mainly spent working from home and his in the office. She knew full well he didn’t do anything of substance, it was all delegation. His boss would tell him something, then he’d repeat it to his own employees, mimicking his boss’s angry demeanour best he could. The stress of his job had been making him snappish and standoffish, so she thought a literary diversion might be just what he needed. And she was right. He openly sobbed into his miso soup when they’d talked about the book at breakfast, the tears mixing with the broth and dissipating like rain into an ocean.
The ocean the tram was crossing was prone to violet outbursts. This was mainly due to the fact Japan sits in between four different tectonic plates, making it prone to earthquakes and tsunamis. One such earthquake had occurred in 1995 and had wreaked Kobe. Water had been forced out of the soil used to build Rokkō Island, causing pavements to crack open as water bubbled onto the surface. The rush of underground water brought with it geysers of sand that burst pavements, tearing down towering red construction cranes and shiny new bridges alike.
The bookseller remembers that earthquake well. His shop had been flooded by a burst sewage pipe, and his parent’s house had collapsed in on itself, a supernova of rubble and debris. He had wandered through the wreckage days after the quake, trying to find anything that remained. Quite a bit of the ground floor walls still remained, jaggedly and abruptly ending at around shoulder height, giving way to a sky still grey from debris dust. His parent’s fridge still stood, remarkably, dented as it was. A lone survivor of the now mostly-unrecognisable kitchen. He swung open its door to find a mush of foodstuffs, mulched up berries, squished meat, crushed pasta, eggshells, juice cartons spilling their contents onto the rubble-strewn cracked wooden floor below. A line of orange juice ran through a contour in the wood and pooled at his shoe. He glanced at his reflection in its vivid bring surface, a colour pop in this grey world, a world still shaking from the events of the past few days.
He looked just the same as he had on that rainy night in the bookstore, only now his hair was being eaten by wisps of silver and his shaded eyes were adorned by wire framed glasses, these two effects combining to make him seem scholarly and intellectual, though doing nothing to aid his never-ending quest for long term companionship. His parents, who had luckily been on holiday in Hokkaido when the quake had struck, had tried to set him with so many women in the past but nothing had ever stuck. He’d gone on a few dates with a girl in university but when her grandfather died she had to move back to Kanazawa. Their relationship slowly fizzled out after that, the fire of passion dying through increasingly rarer and briefer love letters and phone calls. Since then he hadn’t really had much luck with love, even going to a love hotel, just out of sheer desperation, only to find that sex was something he utterly didn’t understand, even when doing it. It was the human element that he fell for.
Take, for example, that woman he’d met when he was working late at the bookshop. Her tipsy little smile as she sipped her tea and opened No Country on her lap. Then the awe and raw excitement that flitted across her face as she read further and further. He had spoke a few more times to her that night, to refill her tea, to answer some basic questions about himself and to ask her where she lived so he could phone her a taxi. Her replies had all been witty and polite, and he’d etched them into his mind, despite her actual appearance fading into the obscurity of his memory, long since tarnished with taxes and neighbours and train times and the pressures of adulthood.
The teen on the tram didn’t want the pressures of adulthood. If adulthood made you cry on your morning commute, like she had seen that salaryman do just moments ago, she wanted no part of it. She was heading onto Rokkō Island to meet her girlfriend for early morning coffee. Her stomach was filled with a buzzing static that built and rose to her throat, making it hard to swallow. Not only had she called into school to tell them a family emergency had come up, which she had never done before, but she’d also slipped from her bedroom window and tiptoed to the train station in the waning night, which she’d also never done before. She was now sitting on the first train out to Rokkō Island, a doughnut in the shape of a lion in her hand. She bit into its adorable face, the soft sugary flesh splitting with the force of her teeth, spraying forth a tsunami of cream filling onto her hand. Another doughnut, this one a plump porcelain-like Hello Kitty face, with a jammy centre, sat in a paper bag on the seat next to her. It was for her girlfriend. The static in her stomach surged at the thought of that. She had a girlfriend. They’d met playing netball, it was a sweltering summers day and the tarmac had felt like lava when her palms had smacked down onto it after she had tripped trying to defend the net. After the ball had rushed through behind her, the girl that had scored, a very pretty girl with shoulder-length brown hair and sparkling eyes, had reached down and helped her up. She was so surprised that this girl, who was far better at sports and probably far more popular than she was, had helped her, instead of hugging a teammate or somesuch celebration. She was even more surprised when that girl cornered her by the changing rooms and gave her a tiny slip of Snoopy-branded notepaper. Etched on it in elegant gel pen was a set of digits. And a heart. They’d spoken over the phone a lot since then, and met for a few whirlwind dates when either school was competing. But now, now they were meeting up not in school hours, bunking to go to a boba & coffee place together. She felt so alive, like someone had lifted up her soul from her body and she was floating freely among the candyfloss clouds that hung in sparse bunches over the horizon. But there was a worry, a deep and suffocating one, that sat squarely in her chest and didn’t budge. It was the anger of doubt, of wondering if she was unnatural, of fearing her parents wouldn’t understand, of having to keep it all a secret. She finished the doughnut and wrung her hands together, her nails digging into her palms, making deep white marks that drowned out the static inside her.
“Miss, are you okay?”
It came from the salaryman. He’d put his phone down and was looking at her with deep concern through his thick-rimmed glasses.
“Yeah, yeah I’m alright.” She managed to stutter, her hands shooting apart and onto her lap.
“That doughnut for someone?” He, rather redundantly, pointed at the bag with the smiling Mr Doughnut mascot on it.
“Urm, yeah, it’s for a friend.” She said, mostly to the gum on the underside of the salaryman’s seat.
“Well I hope they enjoy it,” He smiled at her, a kindly tired smile, “do you read much poetry?”
The question hit her like a freight train. A salaryman asking a teenager about poetry? She was astonished.
“No, no I don’t really, sorry.” She spurted out.
He leaned forward on his knees and with an exclamation of ‘yoisho’ lifted himself out of his chair and motioned to see if he could sit down next to her. She nodded, like a frightened rabbit.
“Well you should,” he said, sitting down, “it can free one’s mind of all sorts of heavy burdens. Can I read you a haiku?”
She was strangely at ease with this stranger, and so mumbled, “Yes, you may”.
He cleaned his throat and read, from memory;
“Even with insects-
Some can sing
Some can’t
It’s an Issa poem,” he said to her, “ and I think it relates to you somewhat. You seem different to others your age. And that’s fine, I was different once. I was a communist! Or I thought I was at least. And look at me now, huh? Another cog in the machine.”
The machine of the tram ground slowly to a halt and the lilting voice of the automated announcer proclaimed they’d reached Rokkō Island. The few passengers flooded out from the train and made their way out of the station. Passengers going from Rokkō to the mainland queued in orderly lines at the side of the tram doors, waiting for everyone to exit before stepping on. It was an intricate and well-executed dance of etiquette and unspoken rules. The salaryman picked up his briefcase, loosened his tie a bit, and walked off towards the shining sliding doors of his office building. The teen half-walked, half-tripped her way to the coffee shop, her brain was alight with hope and happiness, and all the static washed away on the wind.
The wind had carried the man’s papers far far away and so now he sat in his puffy, uncomfortable swivel chair, awaiting his boss’s arrival with a glum look on his face. His cubicle neighbour and best friend, a man with dyed blonde hair and perfect teeth, was consoling him.
“At least he’ll give you saké, he does that with everyone he fires right?” The guy grinned, leaning over the cubicles.
“I’d rather keep my job than have a bottle of saké, if I’m honest.” His mate glumly replied.
“Well bossman isn’t even here yet, maybe he’s been chopped up by the Yakuza, or run over by a car or-“
And in walked their boss, his tie loose around his neck and an odd spring in his step. He smiled, yes, smiled at them as he passed. When the door of his office was shut, the two men looked at eachother, then looked around at the puzzled looks on the faces of every employee in the room.
“What the hell just happened?”
“I think you’re not getting fired. Or maybe we all are.”
Music began to drift from behind the boss’s door. American music. Rather old.

1st & 2nd Image(s) [Prologue] 📷📲: ↑
Hello, March! ☀️ If one parcel wasn't enough, how about another one? This time I ordered it from Lazada 🇵🇭🛒🌐! 📦😁 So, are you ready to reveal it, you two? Yeah, I bet! Let's go with this recorded video! 😊
My Recorded Video [edited by: Filmora 9] 🎦🎞️: ↓
My Brand New Phone case for my Tecno Spark 20 Pro - Part 1 (w/ my paper dolls) [Recorded: Feb 4th, 2024)
Okay, now that you watch the video, here's my spanking brand new phone case for my precious Tecno Spark 20 Pro! 📱🙂 So, let's review with, shall we?
And in case you've missed out on my new phone, then please → [CLICK ME!]. 😉
So, without further ado, let's get started!

3rd to 11th Image(s) 📷📲: ↑
• Once again, let's transition to the photo section, shall we? Here's what it looks like after unwrapping it. It is a thick phone that will snug my Tecno smart, much like the slim counterpart (which came from the box). Unlike the latter, my new phone case had unique tricks on its sleeve (no pun intended), like a swivel metal ring that acts as a stand for portrait and landscape mode, a thin metal inside for placing the magnetic car holder (with the extra support from the aforementioned metal ring), and my favorite is this sliding piece to cover the camera lens from unwanted dust. One thing I noticed was this phone is only suited for "INF Hot 40 4G", meaning its "Infinix Hot 40 4G" smartphone. But as I said in the video, it can also fitted on my Tecno phone, as well. And for those who unaware, both Tecno Mobile and Infinix Mobile companies (as well as Itel Mobile, Carlcare, and Oraimo) were the same roof from the parent company, "Transsion Holdings" [CLICK ME!]. 📱📱😊

• And here's side-by-side with my recent Tecno Spark 20 Pro smartphone, who still wearing the slim phone case from the box's accessories. 🙂 What do you think, you two? Are you gonna miss the gorgeous "Frosty Ivory" color? Well, I've already recorded it, though, so feel free to watch it again. Or go watch on YouTube to see that particular phone for more, with different color variants. 😊

16th to 22nd Image(s) 📷📲: ↑
• Anyway, here's what it looks like after replacing the slim case. And man, it looks dope, in a good way! 😄 The holes for the speakers, ports, and fingerprint scan we're a perfect fit. Meanwhile, the back of the phone was pretty darn good, especially with that sliding piece. However, I shedding light from the LED flash while it was covered doesn't fit the bill for me. However, nobody is going to do that, right? 🤷‍♀️
Unfortunately, I have to stop here because I've got so many snapshots that won't fit than just 30 photos. But fear not, I have "Part 2", right here → [CLICK ME!].

From the outside, Tyler Gallagher had it all: a $3.5 million house in Beverly Hills, two cars, a gorgeous wife, a flourishing business, and one of the hottest esports teams in the country.
A high-school dropout who lived in a homeless shelter at age 16, Gallagher told anyone who would listen about how he took $5,000 and turned it into a successful company investing his clients’ retirement accounts in precious metals. Within a decade, he claimed to have done nearly $1 billion in investments, and boasted celebrity clients including Laura Ingraham and Lars Larson.
His company, Regal Assets, earned top ratings on review sites, and Gallagher himself was a cited expert, publishing articles online for Forbes and Rolling Stone. Inc. magazine rated his company one of the fastest growing in the country—an honor previously bestowed on the likes of Microsoft and Jamba Juice. According to its website, the company had offices in Los Angeles, London, and Dubai, and was the first company licensed to sell cryptocurrency in the Middle East.
“Today is a milestone on my journey as the CEO of Regal Assets and I could not be more proud of our unbelievable team,” Gallagher said in a press release about the Inc. 500 announcement. “To come from Canada and create the success I have with Regal Assets in the heart of the financial collapse truly shows that the American dream is still alive.”
And then one day last October, Tyler Gallagher—and his gold—disappeared.

Cairn session recap from Friday, which will also function as an advertisement to play Cairn with your friends. You should play Cairn with your friends.
My group of players have had very little contact with TTRPGs. Pretty much all they have is:
(friend 1) One completely horrid 1-hour D&D 4e session back in like 2011, plus about 50 hours of Baldur's Gate 3
(friend 2) Watching about half of said BG3 gameplay
(girlfriend) Two acceptably decent 4-hour D&D 5e sessions, plus hearing me talk about it endlessly.
So I have them going through a bog on a 3-day trip, escorting a merchant through it. Each day is supposed to have an encounter--day 1 was about 2 hours of Session 0/rules review/character creation, then about 2 hours of gameplay, about 20 minutes of which was combat; day 2 was about 4 hours, about 3 hours of which was combat (kinda overdid it on the difficulty ramp).
So, day 2 has my players with a reasonable grasp of the tenets of tabletop gaming and my personal philosophies on GMing. For some background, said philosophy basically starts and ends at the Rule of Cool. They wake up with their stinky sketchy merchant man, then proceed down the path before seeing a Rust Monster dash across the path, which the Merchant chases because he knows they tend to accidentally collect lots of non-rustable precious metals (my canon). They run into this small ruined outpost that happens to have a treant in it.
Now, something you should know about Cairn is that it has almost no progression system--no classes, no leveling, no stat increases, just "gear". It is designed to be deadly, so consequently there's very little you can do to invest into your character. This deadliness is something I heavily emphasized to my players, mainly focusing on the fact that I didn't know HOW deadly it'd be, since I hadn't GMed it before.
I ended up making the first session's combat VERY easy, forgot the rule about critical damage, and happened to see my players roll INCREDIBLY well, so that ended up giving them a false sense of confidence about their combat power.
They run into this treant in session 2. To say it "fucked them the hell up" would be a blinding understatement. It does a base of 1d10+1d8 damage, which I had already reduced to 1d10 before the session started (wanted to eliminate the chance of one-shotting my least tanky player). It downed two of the three players in one hit, and it basically got worse from there.
Because Cairn's rules are so loose, I was effectively able to build a ruleset on the fly to suit this particular combat scenario. I could roll with my players' ideas to do basic movement and inventory manipulation actions while downed (you're not unconscious, just unable to fight). I also loosened the restrictions around getting players back up--it just burned a turn for each player, which let me keep the combat going without completely sidelining a player for over an hour.
This led to one of my initially-incapacitated players killing the Rust Monster, which was hiding in the outhouse of this fort, by dropping a lit torch down into the pit and having the methane explode, then dropping a jar of tar on the still-burning enemy.
It also led to another player using a bottle of perfume as a Molotov cocktail against the Treant, and since they were doing such an incredible job at improvising their way out of this hopeless situation, I could narrate that Molotov knocking the armor off the Treant where it hit, letting them hit it a lot harder from there on. They were also specifically focusing on knocking off branches and roots, so I could reduce the Treant's damage die as they did that. It was IMMENSELY fun to whip up boons for the players based on their individual creativity, attention to their gear, and willingness to ask more about the scenario and setting.
The moral of the story for me in this was that when I, as a GM, don't have a massive ruleset looming behind me, I can actually do a lot better of a job making combat fun. When there's nothing to contradict, I can make rules as intuitive as I want.
So the two things I'd say in favor of following Bob World Builder's advice to start your D&D adventure by playing Cairn are these:
When there are almost no rules, you get to make all the rules. The GM gets to do quite literally whatever they want to help the players have a good time. If a player says "Hey, can I [action that has absolutely zero mention in the rule set], the GM can say "yes, make a [stat] save and fucking go for it" without ANY concern for gameplay balance. Shit, if you're concerned about your ability to be fair in metering their success, pick a die and a value and roll for it. In D&D, you can easily back yourself into corners by allowing something that eventually conflicts with an important balance rule later on. I know because I've done it. Cairn eliminates this stress and lets a GM learn how to PLAY the game, rather than just RUNNING it.
My players were more immersed in the narrative and roleplaying aspect of the game fully throughout the combat. Because they weren't limited to the 13(ish?) actions of D&D 5e, they were able to completely improvise their actions and run character interactions in a way that made them more satisfied with the cinematic-ness and narrative coherence of the fight.
Also, we had a fucking epic life-saving roll toward the end--one player had gone down twice, but still got back up and went back in to fight. She got hit again, which brought her down to 2 STR, and when you take a hit to STR in Cairn, you have to make a STR save to stay standing. Cairn is roll-under-for-success, so she needed to roll a 1 or 2 to stay up. And she rolled a fucking 2. We pretty much took an intermission for that one.

So I noticed something, antis of these characters be like-
Tumblr media
A lot of people who hate Amy Rose and Marinette have listed the same reasons why theyre a horrible character (i.e “shes annoying”, “her only personality trait is being obsessed over a guy”)
But y’all miss the reasons why they’re great characters actually
-they’re kind and sweet-natured and love their friends dearly
-they’re great leaders (look at Amy in the Archie comics, Ladybug with the other heroes)
-they have been the reasons as to why so many characters change their point of view (Amy with Shadow, E-Alpha 100 in Sonic Adventure 2, and Silver in 06’, Marinette befriending Kagami, Fei and several others)
-can hold their own, they don’t really need a man to save them but fell in love with Sonic/Adrien for their kindness (Amy being saved from Metal Sonic on Little Planet, Adrien giving Marinette the umbrella)
It’s not that they’re horrible characters, the writers need to write them better

My #1 post of 2022

I finally got to this part in NITW and this speech that Mae gives-
“When I die, I want it to hurt, when my friends leave, when I have to let go, when this entire town is wiped off the map, I want it to hurt. Bad” I want to loose, I want to get beaten up, I want to hold on, until I’m thrown off and everything ends and you know what? Until that happens, I want to hope again and I want it to hurt. Because that means it meant something. It means I am.. Something at least. Petty amazing to be something, at least.”
ALWAYS makes me tear up, even though this game doesn’t have much action, it’s dialogue REALLY packs a punch

Our customers are definitely with our firm all the way and accomplish an amazing business association with our company.
No matter which stage you are at, this article will guide you through the essential steps in finding the jewelry manufacturer that is right for your needs.
When searching for custom jewelry manufacturers, it is important to do your due diligence. Start by looking into jewelry wholesalers and suppliers, private label jewelry manufacturers, and any other relevant companies that specialize in making custom jewelry. Make sure you read reviews of each company and get a list of references. Look into the company's portfolio to see if they have created pieces that are similar to what you are looking for. It's also important to research the materials they use and how long it typically takes them to make a piece. Lastly, compare prices between different companies to make sure you're getting the best deal.
1. Identify Your Needs
When looking for a  jewelry manufacturer, there are different factors to take into consideration. So how should you get started? First and foremost, you should identify your needs. Ask yourself some key questions:
Are you looking to make fashion/costume jewelry, or fine jewelry for your brand?
Knowing the type of jewelry you are creating is crucial when coming to pick your manufacturer. As obvious as it may seem, you should seek out a manufacturer who specializes in the type of jewelry you are producing. It is thus essential to identify the materials and techniques you wish to use for your jewelry.
Are you looking to have your own design prototypes, or will you be using your manufacturer’s designs?
If you go for the latter, then you need to be sure that your manufacturers have in-house design capabilities and that they are well updated with ongoing fashion trends and 3D technology. Their 3D designers will be able to help you from the start of the process.
Where to look
If you’re ready to find someone to bring your designs to life, you might be at a loss for where to start. With so many manufacturers, it’s hard to tell which ones you should trust. Before the pandemic, trade shows were widely popular and were a great way to make connections in the jewelry industry. Even if you already have a manufacturer, participating in trade shows is a great way to grow your business. However, with the pandemic preventing people from traveling freely, you’ll probably get more options when you source online.
It might sound scary to delve into the depths of the internet looking for a manufacturer, but the truth is your best option might not have a way to get to a trade show near you. With that in mind, you should always do thorough research on each option you come across. You should have no problem finding a fine jewelry manufacturer if you adhere to certain standards.
What pointer to keep in mind:
·      Product quality: If you’re developing a fine jewelry line, you already know how important quality is. The better the quality, the more impressed your customers will be, making them more likely to turn into a returning customer. Recurring business is one of the best ways to build any business, so this isn’t something to take lightly. A lack of quality could deter people from repurchasing your product, and it’s much harder to win back a disappointed customer. Not all gold vermeil, plated, and gold-filled products are created equal. Ask questions to understand the gold color they create and the durability. Quality products are not just about metals and gemstones. The jewelry-making craftsmanship is a huge part of it. Make sure to ask for samples before making a bulk order. Also, be sure to understand their quality control process. Some pieces will inevitably break or not come out as expected. It is always a good question to ask how these pieces will be treated. Reliable jeweler manufacturers will be able to answer this.
·      Jewelry production: It is important to understand the capabilities of your jeweler, besides from the customization process. Some jewelers will be able to engrave, cad design, enamel, rhodium, and polish. The point is to know the capabilities you will need and ask about them. It’s helpful to ask about their entire manufacturing process, including their stone sourcing process. Turn around times are important to understand because that will impact your required stock levels or your business model. Many jewelry designers have switched to made-to-order to avoid keeping inventory.
·      Minimum order quantity (AKA MOQ): When it comes to wholesale business, minimum order quantity is key. Some manufacturers won’t sell to you if your order quantity isn’t large enough. You never want to put yourself in a position where you order more than you need. Holding too much inventory is the fastest way to go out of business.
·      Shipment: As you would probably assume, shipping costs can add up quickly and become a massive part of your company’s overhead. When it comes to shipping, you must consider where your manufacturer is located. The best way to cover your bases is to find a manufacturer with global and domestic factory locations. You can’t do anything with your product if you don’t have an efficient order fulfillment system, so reliability is critical when it comes to shipping. Shop Quality Inexpensive Earrings Online
Earrings are a timeless accessory that can elevate any outfit, adding elegance, charm, or even a bold statement to your style. With so many options available today, finding affordable earrings that don’t compromise on quality has never been easier. Shopping online allows you to explore a vast range of designs, materials, and styles from the comfort of your home. This guide will take you through tips and tricks for finding quality, inexpensive earrings online so you can make an informed decision without breaking the bank.
Tumblr media
1. Why Shop for Inexpensive Earrings Online?
Shopping for earrings online offers several advantages, especially if you’re on a budget. Online retailers often have lower operating costs than brick-and-mortar stores, which means they can offer more competitive prices. Additionally, the internet provides access to countless jewelry brands, giving you the ability to compare prices, read reviews, and explore styles from around the world.
Another benefit is the frequent discounts and promotions that online stores offer. Many e-commerce sites host seasonal sales, flash discounts, and clearance events that can make luxury-looking earrings highly affordable.
2. How to Identify Quality in Inexpensive Earrings
Price doesn’t always dictate quality, so it’s essential to know what to look for in inexpensive earrings:
Materials: Opt for materials that are hypoallergenic and durable. Sterling silver, gold plating, stainless steel, and titanium are good choices for earrings. For a more refined look, you can consider cubic zirconia or lab-created gemstones, which are budget-friendly alternatives to precious stones.
Craftsmanship: Examine product images closely to look for neat craftsmanship. High-quality earrings should have smooth finishes, secure clasps, and well-set stones.
Weight and Comfort: Lightweight earrings tend to be more comfortable and are often cheaper, too. Avoid earrings that appear heavy or cumbersome unless they specifically mention features for added comfort.
Customer Reviews: Reviews are invaluable when shopping online. Reading reviews from verified customers can help you learn more about the product's quality, durability, and appearance.
3. Types of Inexpensive Earrings to Consider
Depending on your style and needs, here are some types of earrings that are often available at affordable prices without sacrificing quality:
Stud Earrings: These are classic and versatile earrings suitable for both everyday wear and formal occasions. Simple metal studs, cubic zirconia, and pearls are commonly available in affordable options.
Hoop Earrings: Hoops are trendy and can be worn casually or dressed up for a night out. Inexpensive hoop earrings often come in gold or silver-plated styles, or even in unique colors for a fashionable twist.
Drop Earrings: These earrings hang below the earlobe, making them perfect for adding elegance to an outfit. You can find a range of budget-friendly drop earrings adorned with gemstones, pearls, or intricate metalwork.
Chandelier Earrings: For those looking for something a bit more eye-catching, chandelier earrings are a great choice. They’re often designed with multi-layered or dangling elements that give a luxurious look without the high price tag.
4. Top Platforms for Buying Quality Inexpensive Earrings Online
Several online retailers specialize in budget-friendly, stylish earrings. Here are a few reputable platforms to consider:
Etsy: Known for its unique and handmade jewelry, Etsy has thousands of options for inexpensive earrings. Many sellers offer earrings crafted from high-quality materials at reasonable prices.
Amazon: Amazon’s wide selection and competitive prices make it an excellent place to find quality earrings on a budget. Many items come with verified reviews, allowing you to make informed choices.
Zara and H&M: These fast-fashion retailers offer trendy earrings at low prices. While their jewelry may not be crafted from precious metals, it can be a good choice for fashion-forward styles that won’t break the bank.
Nordstrom Rack: For those looking for discounted designer earrings, Nordstrom Rack offers significant savings on quality earrings, making it possible to find affordable yet stylish options from top brands.
5. Tips for Finding the Best Deals on Inexpensive Earrings
Finding the right deal can take a bit of time, but the savings can be well worth the effort. Here’s how to maximize your budget when shopping for earrings online:
Sign Up for Newsletters: Many websites offer a discount code when you subscribe to their newsletter. Signing up can be an easy way to save on your first purchase and to receive notifications of future sales.
Check for Seasonal Sales: Many e-commerce stores have massive discounts during holiday seasons, such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Valentine’s Day. Bookmark these dates to get the best deals on earrings.
Look for Free Shipping: Shipping costs can add up, so always check if there’s a minimum purchase requirement for free shipping. Some stores also offer free shipping as part of their promotional offers.
Compare Prices Across Websites: Don’t settle for the first deal you find. Check multiple platforms to compare prices and see if you’re getting the best possible offer.
Use Cashback and Coupon Websites: Cashback websites and coupon platforms like Rakuten or Honey can help you save more on your purchases. Many retailers partner with these platforms, offering cashback deals and exclusive discount codes.
6. Care and Maintenance Tips for Inexpensive Earrings
To ensure that your earrings look their best and last longer, proper care is essential. Here are some tips for maintaining inexpensive earrings:
Avoid Water and Chemicals: Water, especially chlorinated or saltwater, can damage metal coatings and tarnish the finish. Avoid wearing earrings while swimming or showering.
Store Properly: Store earrings in a cool, dry place, ideally in a fabric-lined box to prevent scratches. Keeping them in individual pouches can also prevent tangling or scratches.
Clean Regularly: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean earrings and gently remove any dirt or oil buildup. For gemstone earrings, a mild soapy solution and soft-bristled brush can be used to clean crevices.
Avoid Perfumes and Lotions: Chemicals in lotions and perfumes can damage earrings over time. Apply beauty products before putting on earrings to keep them looking new.
7. Affordable Yet Timeless Earring Styles
Inexpensive earrings don’t have to look cheap. Here are a few timeless styles that maintain a sophisticated appearance even at a lower price point:
Minimalist Studs: Clean and simple, these earrings are always in style. Look for quality materials like sterling silver or gold-plated options for a classic look.
Classic Hoops: Whether you prefer small or large hoops, they never go out of style. Gold or silver-plated hoops are available in various sizes and designs that can add a touch of elegance.
Gemstone Drops: Semi-precious stones like amethyst, turquoise, or cubic zirconia are affordable but still add a pop of color and sparkle to your earrings.
Pearl Earrings: Cultured or freshwater pearls are budget-friendly alternatives to luxury pearls and provide a timeless, classy look that’s suitable for any occasion.
Conclusion
Shopping for quality inexpensive earrings online is both exciting and practical. With a plethora of choices, it’s easier than ever to find stylish, affordable earrings that suit your taste, budget, and lifestyle. From timeless studs to trendy hoops, and from elegant drop earrings to vibrant gemstone pieces, there’s no shortage of options that will add a dash of sparkle to your look without breaking the bank. By keeping an eye out for good deals, reading reviews, and choosing durable materials, you’ll be able to build a beautiful earring collection that suits any occasion while keeping your budget intact.
Whether you're looking to add a new accessory to your everyday look or searching for a special piece for an event, buying inexpensive earrings online can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Worried About Quality? Learn How to Buy the Best Imitation Bangles Online Without Compromise
Tumblr media
Also Read : Buy Imitation Bangles Online: Prettiest Trends For All Times
If you’re someone who loves to add a touch of sparkle to your style, imitation bangles are the perfect accessory. Not only are they affordable, but they also come in a variety of designs, colors, and materials. But with so many options out there, it can be tough to choose the right one that doesn’t compromise on quality. Luckily, buying imitation bangles online can be a breeze if you know what to look for. Let’s dive into how you can shop smart and find the best ones for your collection!
1. Know What You Want
The first step in buying the best imitation bangles is to figure out the style and design you’re after. Are you looking for something modern, traditional, or maybe a mix of both? Knowing the type of bangle you want will help you narrow down your options and save time. Whether it’s a set with intricate designs or simple, elegant ones, always keep your personal style in mind.
2. Check the Material Quality
The beauty of imitation bangles is that they look like precious metals but are much more affordable. However, you want to ensure that the material used is durable and won’t lose its shine quickly. Look for bangles made from high-quality alloys, brass, or copper, and ensure they have a good finish. This way, they’ll last longer without tarnishing or fading.
3. Look for Trusted Sellers
When you’re on the hunt to buy imitation bangles online, it’s essential to go to reputable stores. Platforms like Tarathi Jewels offer a wide selection of high-quality imitation jewelry that you can trust. Check customer reviews, ratings, and product descriptions to get a better idea of the product’s authenticity and the seller’s credibility.
4. Size and Fit Matter
A common mistake people make when buying imitation bangles online is not considering the size. Some websites offer a variety of sizes, while others may only have standard ones. Always check the measurements or descriptions provided to ensure they fit your wrist comfortably. A well-fitting bangle will not only be more comfortable but will also look more stylish.
5. Affordable Prices, Not Compromised Quality
Don’t let the price tag fool you. While imitation bangles are typically more affordable than real gold or silver, they don’t have to look cheap. Look for sales, promotions, or discounts that allow you to get high-quality bangles without breaking the bank. With the right search, you can buy imitation bangles online at prices that fit your budget, without compromising on design or material quality.
6. Quality Photos and Detailed Descriptions
One of the perks of shopping online is being able to browse multiple designs from the comfort of your home. But how do you know the bangle you’re eyeing is the right one? Quality photos and detailed descriptions are key. Trust sites that show clear images from different angles, and provide details about the material, size, and design. This will give you a much better idea of what you’re purchasing.
7. Secure Payment and Return Policies
Before finalizing your purchase, ensure that the website offers secure payment options and a reasonable return policy. If the bangles don’t meet your expectations or fit properly, you’ll want the peace of mind of being able to return or exchange them.
With these tips in mind, you’re now ready to buy imitation bangles online like a pro. Whether you’re dressing up for a special occasion or just adding a little glam to your everyday look, high-quality imitation bangles can help you shine. And if you want to ensure that you get the best, check out the stunning collection at Tarathi Jewels. Their selection of imitation bangles offers both style and durability at prices you’ll love.
