I love Fairy Tail Zerø so much. Something about the characters is so endearing. Mavis has all the ambition and heart it takes to create a guild. Yuri has the energy and reckless abandon that the guild later embodies. Warrod has the heart of the guild and Precht has the brains. They were all a perfect match for each other.

Zera’s story hurts me fundamentally. She and Mavis agreed to be friends right as Zera died, then Mavis inadvertently created the illusion so she wouldn’t be lonely. The boys caught on so quickly and it was so kind of them to pretend with Mavis. They never once let slip that they couldn’t see her.

Zeref and Mavis. These two are so tragic. Mavis knew his curse on the spot and was able to relieve his loneliness for a little while. I can’t believe their story later on. It’s terrible what they (specifically Mavis) have to go through.

Anyways, Fairy Tail Zerø is so close to my heart. I cried so many times through but that’s alright. These kids deserve a few tears. I think the ‘what comes next’ blurb at the end severely downplays what actually happened to all these characters. They all met such a tragic end, save Warrod (who suffered too. He lost his best friends to horrible circumstances). I’m so close to the end of the series it’s insane…

would love to see your designs / takes on the other ft founders ( Precht, Warrod, Yuri & Zera!)

I think I want to refine Precht in the future but I did enjoy coming up with ideas for them. Warrod is the largest departure I've taken from the og design so far. Either way hope this meets your expectations!

I imagine Mavis as 19-20 when they meet her giving us about 10 years before she dies. And Zero itself would take place about 300 years, give or take, before canon so we get a nice bit of time for things to change.

Okay so Precht's actions really annoy me.

Let me explain.

So in the final season we obviously find out about August and how Precht abandoned him as a child... literally on a mountain... to die.

Like the guy was messed up looooong before he ever decided to go down the path of darkness or whatever. And his only excuse was that it was the only way to save the guild? Like he lived in a time where there was probably no electronic registry or anything, like checking a persons identity was pretty much non-existent if you didn't know who they were. Someone could disappear and never be found if they just changed their name.

So claiming that he didn't know who August's father was wouldn't have been difficult. He literally could've told the guild that Mavis came back to him and died during childbirth before she could tell him who the father of her child was and that would've been it. The secret could've gone to his grave and August could've had the childhood he deserved.

The fact that he took one look at an innocent child and decided that keeping such an easy secret was too hard, like he was literally the only person to know what happened to Mavis and everyone trusted him so it's not like they would've gone digging behind his back or anything.

It's just urghhh this guy frustrates me so much, I honestly would've loved to see his thought process when he was presented with this choice and see where he deemed it necessary to leave a child to die in the middle of nowhere..

Christian Lindner - Leben am Limit doch abgewendet?

Viele haben schon um ihren liebsten Porschefahrer gefürchtet, aber nun ist bestätigt, dass Christian Lindner nicht obdachlos wird. Ein netter Philosoph hat sich erbarmt und den Ex-Finanzminister in seine Obhut genommen. Christian Lindner, vorher von Kanzler Scholz als Vogelfrei gesprochen, fängt nun an, die Leitregeln des freien Marktes und des Lobbyismus ins Deutsche zu übersetzen, um normalen Menschen (soweit sie genügend Grundeinkommen oder Ersparnisse für effektive Bestechung in der Hinterhand haben) einen einfachen Zugang in die Welt der Oligarchen zu ermöglichen.

Christian Lindner und Richard David Precht hatten ihr erstes wellenschlagendes Treffen in 2012 in Prechts Talkshow im ZDF. Der damals frische Abiturient hatte fast versehentlich um Prechts Hand angehalten, was aber jedoch Prechts allgemeinhin anziehender Ausstrahlung auf Männer zuzuschreiben ist. Denn wer kann schon diesem Lächeln wiederstehen?

Markus Lanz schrieb zu diesem Zusammentreffen: "Auch philosophisch schien [Christian Lindner] dem promovierten Fachmann mit dem schönen Haar und dem offenen Hemdkragen mehr als ebenbürtig." (Quellle. Und nein, leider war es nicht Markus Lanz. Hätte es aber sein können. Lasst uns doch träumen, okay.)

Skurrilerweise bezogen Lanz und Precht in ihrem Podcast in Folge 166 genau gegensätzliche Positionen: Precht kritisierte die FDP viel offener als Lanz, nimmt nun aber den geflüchteten Chef der eben jener Partei bei sich auf. Wo sich bei uns die Frage stellt: Wie eifersüchtig ist Markus Lanz in Bezug auf diese neuartige Entwicklung?
