This is the Prayer to Hekate

When I doubt, show me my strength; When I am wrong, show me the right path; Light the crossroads before me, that I may see my way. Queen of Transitions,

Guardian of Doorways, Hecate, bless my journeys,

Through dark and dawn, day and dusk.

Help me to bring to balance the forces within myself light and dark, above and below.

As a coin cannot have only one side, I am not whole.

Offering yourself to Hekáte:

Hekáte, enjoys offerings that are not only personal to Her but personal to those devoted to Her as well.

Artwork, poetry, song, dance, chants, and prayers that you have created. Offer Her your favorite food, play your favorite song for Her, sweepings from your home, flowers from your garden. Strands of your hair, a spritz of your perfume, clippings from your nails.

Continue to offer Her things that She loves but don't forget to pour yourself and your love into those offerings too.

Hekáte called you, She wants to know you, She wants your devotion.

Praise to mighty Hekate, destroyer and child of Perses. She of the underworld. She of the wayside and the crossroads. Irresistible and indomitable queen of those below. Holy bringer of light.

She who holds the keys. She who haunts the mountains. Nocturnal one. Fond of solitude and hidden. She who wanders in the night. Lovely and revered only begotten maiden.

Immortal guardian and spinner of fate. Leader of the dogs heralded by roaring beasts. Three-formed protectress at the gate. Praise to Hekate, attendant and guide.

Daughter of destructive Perses and star guiding Asteria.

She who led Warm Demeter for nine days in search of her daughter, ever bright torches a symbol of her perseverance and an invaluable aid in the journey.

Torch bearer and revealer, I ask you to show me the emotional strength I need, and to light my way to greater things, to grant me the strength to continue through this time, and to guide me to the other side.
