I recently mentioned the 8 Siddhis from South Asian spirituality and in the epics and Vedic to Hindu practices and in Buddhism as well.
What are they?
Narratively, most popularly to many, they are powers associated with Lord Hanuman.
Tumblr media
But others can possess them as well and have, and in the ascetic arts, it's said you too can pursue and possess these abilities. So, what are they?
1: Aṇimā: the ability to reduce one's body to the size of an atom. NOTE: Your strength is not diminished here. So...think Ant Man potential.
You're a damn hyper mobile bullet at that point if you think about it. That's POWERFUL.
Now, note. This is not a GIGANTISM ability. ONLY SHRINKING. Narratively, Lord Hanuman uses this ability to shrink and hide from demons while searching Lanka for Mata Sita (mother Sita)
2: Mahimā: the ability to expand one's body to an infinitely large size. INFINITELY. Once, Lord Hanuman used this ability to become large enough (and his strength grew with him) to be able to carry a whole fucking mountain.
With this Siddhi, one can grow large enough to become celestial sized Vamana, also known as "Three step," the "milk-dwarf", and the "binder," is the 5th avatar of the God Lord Vishnu (the Preserver), in his dwarf avatar existence he uses Mahimā to grow large enough to take three steps in which he covers ALL of existence, and on the third step striding toward his enemy, the demon (really an Asura) king Mahabali, and shove him into the underworld.
3: Laghimā: the ability to become weightless or lighter than air. This is the example I talked about yesterday in where even Avatar: The Legend of Korra, in where they tied the Siddhi to a fictional Guru in the story for a really cool moment. And, yes, just like in the show, in the South Asian epics and myths, characters used this ability to become light enough to fly (even some demons who learned this Siddhi).
4: Garimā: the ability to become heavy or dense.
Note: You cannot alter your weight HOWEVER YOU WANT. You can increase it (not mass - weight) to the point of becoming literally immovable by anyone else.
5: Prāpti: the ability to realize whatever one desires. I wish, right? Well...okay, kinda that's what it is. It's the ability to create/grant anything. Just like that. Or achieve it. Gods, demons, and more do this throughout the epics. Some gods will snap up a boon right there. I've managed a tablet at best through wishy wishy magic powers.
...look, I have work to do, and practice, okay? In essence, it's the ability to get your desires.
6: Prākāmya: This one's complicated. This Siddhi allows one to adapt amazingly to circumstances around them. One can travel - adapt to distance, teleport, increase the length of their live -- longevity, live under water, or on top of freezing mountains.
7: Īśitva: the ability to control all material elements or natural forces. You can make it rain, storm, earthquake, or...something subtler, move the ground around you as you wish.
It's pretty godly.
8: Vaśitva: the ability to influence minds. This applies to creatures as well - not just humanoid, demon, gods and other beings of that nature. You can tame wild beasts, calm the angered, and more.

Jinn Science:
Any sincere Gnostic Arhat can beg for the magical assistance of the great Apostle Philip.
If you love Philip, then when you are dozing meditate on him. Exclude from your mind any other thought, and when you feel in your soul the joy of his presence, speak the following ritual sentence,  “To heaven, Philip!”
Then, with a steady and firm step come out of your bedroom and with force submerge yourself into the twilight zone.
On behalf of the Great Cause, I solemnly declare that I owe this extraordinary formula to a divine spirit called Isabel, whose human personality is certainly a humble barefoot nun from a medieval monastery, which in these times is submerged within the fourth vertical.
May the suns of enthusiasm shine upon thy way, very dear and gentle reader.
May the forces of the tiger accompany you.
May the fireflies of wisdom light up thine intellect.
May the rustling pine give shade for thy rest.
May the emerald frogs point out the trails by croaking relentlessly.
May she, nature, be prodigal with you.
May the universal force bless and direct thee.
-Master Samael Aun Weor, from his book, "The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac"
--------------------
Jinn State:
(Arabic; literally "hidden from sight," from the root  جَنّ / جُنّ j-n-n which means 'to hide, conceal'.) The condition that results from moving physical matter into the fourth dimension.
“A body while in the “Jinn” state can float in the air (Laghima) or be submerged within the waters (Prakamya), or pass through fire without being burned, or be reduced to the size of an atom (Anima), or be enlarged to the point of touching the sun or the moon with the hand (Mahima). A body submerged within the supra-sensible worlds is submitted to the laws of those worlds. Then, this body is plastic and elastic, so it can change form, decrease its weight (Laghima), or increase its weight (Garima) willingly... When Jesus was walking upon the waters of the Sea of Galilee, he had his body in the state of “Jinn.” Peter was able to liberate himself from the chains and to leave the prison, thanks to the assistance of an Angel who helped him place his body in the state of “Jinn.”” - Samael Aun Weor, The Aquarian Message

72 Psychic Abilities That Are Possible With Chakra Development
Tumblr media
Hindu philosophy says that with the awakening of the kundalini and the maturation of the chakras, a whole host of psychic abilities are available for us to tap into.
I checked out a solid 1000 page chakra book from my local library to use as a reference book. I’ve instead been reading it through and stumbled across this list of abilities that are supposedly possible through developing the chakras.
We spend too much time in life wishing that unicorns and dragons roamed the wilds of the natural world and not enough time studying the real magick of our universe.
What is truly possible when we understand ourselves fully? When we understand the energy that makes up everything in this world? When we unlock the mysteries of the universe that ancient civilizations seemed to understand? Is it possible that we could tap into seemingly other-worldly powers?
The ancient Hindu texts refer to them as Siddhi. Some you may recognize from pop culture. Some you may recognize within yourself. Others will be foreign ideas to you.
Whatever the truth of the matter, we must continue to develop ourselves in culture and society if we ever wish to find out what we’re capable of as a race.

It’s said our chakras are the gateway to these powers but to be careful not to fall into the greed of power. Seek spiritual development instead and the desire to do good in the world and you may find them more easily coaxed.
A mantra that can be chanted in meditation to call in the powers is “om ashtashiddhipradayai namah”. A sanskrit phrase which translates into “I seek the blessings of the goddess who grants the eight siddhis”.
Tell me in the comments if you recognize yourself as carrying any of these abilities and be sure to sign up below to Chakra Child if you’re ready to begin your chakra journey!

Mata Siddhidatri : The Goddess of 9th Day of Navratri
Tumblr media
Maa Siddhidatri is the ninth and final form of the Hindu goddess Durga, who is worshipped during the Navratri festival in India. She is depicted as a four-armed goddess, sitting on a lotus or riding on a lion, holding a mace, a conch shell, a discus, and a lotus in her four hands. She is also sometimes referred to as the goddess of all accomplishments or the granter of boons.
The story of Maa Siddhidatri goes back to the time when Lord Shiva had undertaken a severe penance to attain the ultimate knowledge and enlightenment. After many years of intense penance, Maa Siddhidatri appeared before him and blessed him with all the eight siddhis (divine powers) – Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Isitva, and Vasitva. Lord Shiva was pleased with her blessings and granted her a place in his abode.
The importance of Maa Siddhidatri lies in the fact that she represents the ultimate goal of spiritual enlightenment and liberation. Devotees believe that worshipping Maa Siddhidatri can help them attain the highest level of spiritual knowledge and realisation. She is also believed to have the power to grant all kinds of boons and fulfil the wishes of her devotees.
Maa Siddhidatri is associated with the Sahasrara chakra, which is believed to be the centre of spiritual enlightenment and union with the divine. Devotees of Maa Siddhidatri believe that meditating on her can help them awaken and balance this chakra, leading to the ultimate state of spiritual consciousness and realisation.
Overall, Siddhidatri is worshipped as the goddess of ultimate knowledge, power, and enlightenment, and her worship is believed to help her devotees attain their highest potential in life.

There are eight siddhis mentioned in our ancient scriptures also known as Ashta Siddhi. The Scriptures also include the abilities gained by the seeker after the attainment of the Ashta Siddhis. The seeker needs to be very disciplined and learn to control the mind as it is not so easy to attain these siddhis. After attaining siddhis, the seeker rises above worldly attachment. Longing for desires of the materialistic world ends.It is said in the scriptures that Mata Sita blessed Lord Hanuman that he can grant anyone with Ashta siddhis and nine Nidhis. The lines from Hanuman Chalisa that describes the above are as follows: ‘अष्ट सिद्धि नव निधि के दाता, असवर दीन जानकी माता। ‘ Siddhis are spiritual and supernatural powers and abilities attained by deep spiritual Sadhanas, including Yoga and Meditation. These Siddhis together are called “Ashta Siddhi.” These Ashta Siddhis are also known as Brahma Pradana Siddhi.

Why so serious? Humour is a fundamental necessity in human life. It isn't without reason that Hasya, or humour is included within the nine emotions. Humour lightens the mood, and prevents the mind from overthinking and getting worked up. Humour helps us forget our pains, handicaps and sorrows. Humour helps to harmonise with people and get desired things done easily. Humour gives a secret charm to us and makes us amicable and adorable. In Japan, the Shinto God of Fishing Ebisu was born with handicaps. But through sheer humour, not only did he socialise well, bit became an adorable character, and finally a God of good fortune, like the Laughing Buddha. Humour is Prakamya Siddhi of the 1st Avarana, which means the ability to successfully get whatever is desired. https://www.instagram.com/p/B2geZxgBbee/?igshid=1cqc65zpx3zbj

Nine forms of Maa Durga 1) Shailputri In this structure Durga is two-equipped and conveys a trident and lotus. Her mount is a bull or bull. Shailputri implies the little girl of the mountain, Himalaya. In this structure we see the heavenly Mother holding a trident in her correct hand and a lotus to her left side. She is seen as situated on a bull. In her past birth, she was called Sati, Bhavani, and was the girl of King Daksha. After a great deal of atonement, she wedded Lord Shiva. In any case, her dad King Daksha was troubled. He had orchestrated a Yagya/Yagna (Ritual has done around the conciliatory fire) where he welcomed everybody aside from his child in-law, Lord Shiva. Upset and feeling embarrassed, Sati chose to go to the occasion excluded. There, her dad offended Lord Shiva and in rage she remained on the conciliatory fire and consumed herself alive. Master Shiva chafed, requested his devotees to annihilate the Yagya. Sati was renewed as the girl of the ruler of the mountains, Himalaya for the sake of Parvati – Hemvati and got hitched with Lord Shiva once more. This type of her is loved on the primary day of the Navratri festivities. 2) Brahmacharini  In this structure Durga is two-outfitted and conveys a rosary and hallowed water pot (Kamandal). She is in an exceptionally devout and quiet structure or is in reflection. This type of Durga is identified with the extreme retribution embraced by Sati and Parvati in their individual births to achieve Lord Shiva as spouse. The absolute most significant Vratas saw in various pieces of India by ladies depends on the exacting severities followed by Brahmacharini. She is otherwise called Tapasyacharini and is adored on the second day of Navrathri. 3) Chandraghanta Goddess Durga's third structure is known as Chandraghanta or Shakti. Chandra implies the moon and Ghanta is the chime. This name discovers its clarification in the half-roundabout moon on the sanctuary of the Goddess that looks like a chime. She is three peered toward with ten hands. Each hand holds ten unique weapons. She is situated on a lion and is adored on the third day of the Navratri festivity.  Her tint is brilliant and her appearance consistently spreads a quiet and interminable harmony all around. She is an extraordinary picture of boldness. The repulsive sound of her ringer unnerves all the shrewdness and evil presence. Love of this divinity assists with killing the distress, risks, and perils in one's life. 4) Kushmanda: In this structure Durga is eight-outfitted and rides on a tiger. She holds kamandalu, bow, bolt, lotus, pot containing wine, plate, rosary, and a club. She is extremely glad in this structure and it is accepted that the unceasing obscurity finished when she grinned. Furthermore, this prompted the start of creation. Kushmanda type of Durga is revered on the fourth day of Navratri. 5) Skanda Mata Ruler Kartik/Kartikeyan/Karthikeyan is otherwise called Skanda. As Goddess Durga is his mom, she is alluded to as Skanda Mata. She is a god of fire with four arms. She holds her child Skanda with the upper right hand and lotus in her lower hand. The upper left hand is situated in a gift motion or Abhaya Mudra. She is reasonably complexioned, situated on a lotus thus additionally alluded to as Padmasana. 6) Katyayani: Sage Katyaayan was the child of the extraordinary sage Kat. He watched through retribution and love of Bhagavati Paramba with a craving to get Paramba as his little girl. His desire was allowed. The girl conceived was named Katyayani. She has four hands. The upper right hand is situated in a motion of giving mental fortitude while the other hand is situated in a signal of rendering a shelter. The upper left-hand holds a blade and the other a lotus. The goddess rides a lion and revered on the 6th day of the Durga puja. 7) Kalratri: Ratri implies night so her appearance is as dim as the night. She has long, unmated hair with her three eyes that are sparkling and splendid. She has four arms and is seen mounted on a Shav/Shava or a dead body. Her correct hand holds a blade, while her lower hand is in a gift position. The left-hand holds a consuming light and the lower left hand is in daring position. She is known as Shubhamkari or the propitious one. Her structure urges her enthusiasts to be brave. 8 ) Maha Gauri: It is said that when the assemblage of Goddess Gauri got grimy because of residue and earth while she was watching retribution to accomplish Lord Shiva. So he washed down her with the sacred waters of Ganges. Her body changed into splendid and radiant like helping thus her eighth structure is known as "Maha Gauri".Her garments and adornments are likewise white. Her look is quiet and serene and she is three peered toward. She rides on a bull. Her four hands indicate various implications, similar to one side hand is in the courageous signal and the lower on holds a trident. The above right hand has tambourine and the lower right hand is in gift style. 9) Siddhidatri: The ninth structure is Siddhidatri. There are eight Siddhis (Special forces which must be accomplished from extreme retribution and contemplation)- Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Iishitva, and Vashitva. Maha Shakti gives all these Siddhies. It is referenced in the Devi Puran" that Lord Shiva got all these Siddhis by revering Maha Shakti. With her appreciation, Lord Shiva's body likewise contains the Goddess thus he has the structure and name of Ardha Narishvar. Ardha implies half. The goddess rides on a lion. The Siddhidatri structure is loved by all divine beings, rishis, munis (Saints and Sages), siddhas, yogis, sadhakas (Devotees) for achieving legitimacy and aids of their extreme repentances For More Details, please visit -   http://www.elicitodisha.com/http://www.elicitodisha.com/
