“SLOW HELL” is the A/side from CLOSER’s final 7” titled ‘Paris In the Spring’ & it finds the New York-based trio of Ryann Slauson (drums/vocals), Matthew Van Asselt (guitar) & Griffin Irvine (bass) going out w/ a beautiful bang across 4+ mins of aesthetically apt, post_hardcoring & succinctly skramz’d ScreamO.

@fleshwater.fm are here w/ a lean ass new track titled “STANDALONE” & it finds the Georgetown, Mass-based outfit wetting your appetite across a palate cleansing 1 minute of riffed_up, sonically swole & spaced-out AltRock.

Silhouette - Les dires de l'âme

Atmospheric Black Metal from Montpellier, France

Born in 2019 in Montpellier, the French sextet of Silhouette were able to make a name for themselves with the debut EP Les Retranchements, released in 2022 by Antiq, and build up a strong live experience at several events in France. With their incisive, post-metal-tinged black metal and the strength of their two singers, Ondine and Yharnam, the band invites introspection and tackles the theme of dreams, nightmares, and lost ones.

Luna Sedata

Luna Sedata es una de mis bandas favoritas de Mérida, México, formada por Serena Cuevas (bajo y voz) y Víctor Medina (guitarra y coros) en el 2024, a la cual posteriormente se unió Cesar Gutierrez, antiguo miembro de Per Se, en la batería. Actualmente cuentan con un single publicado aunque su set en vivo contiene mas canciones. Ellos describen su sonido como una combinación de post-hardcore y screamo con toques de math rock. Su música evoca un hermoso sentimiento de perseverancia cuando uno esta sumergido en la tristeza. Aunque su catalogo es muy resumido iremos actualizándolo conforme crezca su discografía. 

Uno de los mejores proyectos que han salido de la escena de Mérida.
