every car sentai except Carranger has been mid because Carranger is not so much a car sentai as a parody sentai a la Akibaranger (and arguably Ninninger and Zenkaiger) and also because NONE of these sentais have really been car sentais. These guys don't CARE about cars they just have car powers. The Gokaigers care about being pirates. The Gekirangers sure as hell care about kung-fu AND being cats. Those are goated sentais. When are we getting a sentai about car perversion and I don't mean cute mascot characters with faces and voices I mean a sexy slutty red obsessively detailing a 1984 Ferrari Testarossa while his haughty rich boy blue moons over him in his 2016 Bugatti Chiron as the quirky goofy green makes winky faces at them with the headlights of his 1990 Mazda Miata as the playgirl yellow in her 2020 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet rolls her eyes at the deathly serious professional black in her 1998 Jaguar XJR. and then the extraordinarily overpowered weird foreign sixth shows up and 1) she's a she and 2) she drives a white 1987 Lamborghini Countach with gold accents just like her suit and. you get it. car perversion.

Carlisle slipped on his doctor’s robe, staring into the mirror so intensely that he didn’t notice his fiery, blonde daughter walk in.

“You’re mean you know” she said carefully; crossing her arms over her pink Barbie pyjama set.

“I don’t know what you mean by that rose” Carlisle replied.

He knew exactly what she meant.

In fact, his actions haunted his mind.

“You know exactly what I mean Carlisle. What you keep doing to her is cruel and cold hearted”

Rosalie always spoke her mind.

She was never afraid to add her input if something went wrong.

Fact was, she was interested in Carlisle and y/n’s situation as she wanted y/n to be like a mother to her.

Rosalie’s biological mother only cared that Rose married into wealth and Esme was more of a friendly figure.

However Rose craved for that maternal connection that she never had, and she only wanted it from y/n.

Carlisle was stunned at his daughter’s statement.

She had never been so brutal with him.

“I never would have expected such villainy from you”

And with that, she left the room, making her way to Emmet as they prepared for school.

Y/n parked her Porsche 911 Turbo s Cabriolet in the free parking area; grabbing her black handbag and strutting into the hospital.

“Goodmorning Josabelle” She greeted the woman sat at the counter.

“Y/n honey, how’ve you been”

Josabelle ran straight towards the young girl, embracing her in a tight hug.

“You’re in an awefully good mood” stated the vampire, as the older woman bursted out in hard laughter.

“You. Are. Too. Funny” Jo pinched y/n’s left cheek.

From the one day that y/n had worked in Forks hospital, she noticed that Josabelle was a sassy woman who didn’t like many people.

So she was really shocked when Josabelle welcomed her with open arms and a bubbly attitude.

“What’s the catch ?”

“Nothing, just hop into your office and you’ll have a look”

And with that, y/n was in front of her (Carlisle’s) office door, turning the metal handle in her grasp.

Her eyes immediately darted toward her desk and she saw a large bouquet of crimson roses with a pink wrapper on them.

Turning the bouquet around, she came across a little note; familiar hand writing on it.

She turned and was met with a giddy Josabelle; desperate to find out the details.

Y/n didn’t know why she was staring at the clock intently.

Or why she she wore a sundress with no intention of going out.

Or even why she kept smoothing the frizz on her curls.

Carlisles tardiness had her quivering in her boots; nervous out of her mind.

Charlie however was trying his best not to think about ripping Carlisle apart as soon as he would get here.

When his baby sister told him of the note that Carlisle left her, he felt a vein in his forehead pop. If he was human, he was sure his blood would be physically boiling.

The quiet house was filled with the noise of a doorbell, y/n speeding up to the door; letting out a big sigh as she opened it.

Carlisle was stood there; hair freshly combed, more roses in his hand and a navy blue suit on.

Y/n didn’t say anything and only moved out of the way as a signal for Carlisle to enter.

He took off his shoes respectfully before making his way to the couch, sitting stiffly as he made eye contact with his old best friend.

Charlie looked lethal; a cigarette in his mouth and a piercing gaze on his amber eyes.

“Speak”

Carlisle cleared his dry throat, looking back at the girl sat opposite him.

“I took the day off and was talking to my daughter. And I came to the conclusion that I need to apologise”

Before Carlisle could carry on, Charles interrupted him.

“You’re only apologising cause you need to ?”

Y/n looked at her older brother with a little bit of sadness displayed on her face; returning her gaze to Carlisle and letting him continue.

“Sorry, that wasn’t my intention. I meant that she helped me reflect on my actions and has helped me realise that I have screwed up immensely and owe you my sincerest apology. However, no amount of sorries could pay off the amount of times that I’ve hurt you y/n. So Charles, you name it, I’ll do anything to be forgiven by you guys”

The doctor nearly shed a tear as his eyes averted between each sibling.

After his confrontation from rose in the bedroom, he decided to take the day off of work and pull her out of school for the day; taking her to the mall and treating her to a therapeutic shopping spree.

He payed of course.

She told him what he did was wrong and persuaded him to apologise to the curly haired siblings in his history.

And that’s how he ended up here. All vulnerable in front of them.

After some time of thinking, Charlie’s scowl was replaced by a recognisable mischievous grin, y/n and Carlisle immediately knowing he was up to no good.

“If we’re really worth it, you’ll take us both to the mall up in DC, and pay for 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 we want without complaint or hesitation”

Since Carlisle was already pale, his shock wasn’t evident, but his heart sank.

Y/n wasn’t a bother but knowing Charles, he’d buy the whole mall out of spite.

“Deal”

To Doctor Cullen, it felt like a massive boulder had been lifted off of his shoulders and he was ready to rekindle his relationship with the siblings.

“Anyways, I wish I could stay but I promised Alice I’d help her with a school project”

The blonde got up from his seat, making his way to the door as the siblings followed him.

“Charles”

“Carlisle”

The men nodded at each other awkwardly before Carlisle turned to the doe eyed girl before him.

Radiance reflected off of her as the warm light from the lamp kissed her pale yet tanned skin.

Her plump lips were glossed from her constant habit of licking them and her hair cascaded lazily on her shoulders.

He was in awe.

“Goodnight y/n/n”

“Goodnight Car”

He resisted hugging her and made his way to his car with a large smile on his face, showcasing his pearly whites.

Meanwhile inside, the siblings stared at each other with little grins as they leaned in for hugs.

Girls and their rides

So back when 2.1 dropped, I decided to get all the new vehicles and clothes that have been added in the game since Phantom Liberty. While grinding vehicle contracts and races, I was wondering what rides would fit my OCs the best. Now that I managed to get everything, here are the answers!

Crystal - ARCH Nazaré "Racer"

Crystal, my main girl and my OC of choice for beating both Cyberpunk 2077 and its DLC, ironically caused me the most trouble! Up until now, she canonically used a red Shion Mizutani Targa that I managed to find in the wild almost a year ago. The issue was that in case I wanted to use it, I'd have to find it again or spawn it on my PC. Since I mostly play Cyberpunk on my Xbox, that wasn't an ideal scenario.

For a brief moment I was considering giving her a brand new Herrera Riptide "Terrier" - a car I could actually spawn on demand. But seems too impractical for her. She loves cars but I don't see her driving a hypercar. She wants something cool, powerful, but not that high-maintenance.

Then I saw this cool new bike, fell in love with its looks and colors, and remembered that I wrote my dislike for bikes in this game in Crystal's lore! Instead of rewriting it I decided that Elegy, her gf who rides a Kusanagi, made her get used to them, start enjoying their looks, and taught her to ride them - which fits the 2.1 bike handling improvements perfectly!

EV - Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet (930)

Now, I was thinking about giving EV either one of new muscle cars or Mizutani Hozuki "Hoseki". You might actually see some pics of her with these cars in the future (with Hoseki being her first car for example), but eventually I settled on giving her a 911. It fits her looks and personality, and she's my canon V, so a Samurai-themed car is a good choice.

Originally she was supposed to be driving a 911 you get in Chippin' In, but my s/o managed to convince me to get a cabrio! I like its color scheme more than the original one!

Thalia - Villefort Deleon "Vindicator"

Sully was by far the easiest! While at first I had no idea what would really fit her, after I bought that Vindicator and examined it thoroughly, it was the only choice for her. It looks vintage, maybe a bit classy, but with a sport touch.

There's a lore reason for how she got it too! I didn't really have time or strength to explain how she survived her alleged death and ended up arriving in NC yet. Other than reuniting with Crystal, she needs her and Elegy to help her with a special task. The person that drove her near NC, left her that car as a gift and something to aid her in her journey. She might or might not have modified it for that custom look, but I didn't decide on that yet.

Porsche 911 Hybrid: Existential Threat Alert!

Air-cooled Porsche purists look away now. The 911 Hybrid is officially about to become A Thing. Spotted during track testing and later confirmed by Porsche CEO Oliver Blume, the hybrid is the first time anything other than a conventional petrol engine has powered this motoring icon.

The 1965 Newport Folk Festival won’t be the first thing that springs to mind when considering this seismic shift in Porsche 911 thinking but it’s a better parallel than you might think. Because it was here, nearly 60 years ago, that Bob Dylan shocked music fans by (gasp) playing an electric guitar rather than the traditional acoustic number that had made his name. The shockwaves still resonate today.

So, consider the potential ramifications for this (probably inevitable) move by the Stuttgart supercar manufacturer. Because according to recent press – and their own Annual Sustainability Report –Porsche’s own Dylan moment will be to add a third element to the water-cooled vs air-cooled debate that keeps the chat rooms buzzing.

According to the motoring press, it’s part of a wider ‘facelift’ programme for the whole 992 incarnation of the 911 range. Other newsworthy additions to the stable include a 911 Cabriolet, a 911 Turbo S, an updated 911 GT3 and a reimagined GT Touring saloon. But it’s the hybrid that’ll grab the headlines, for sure. So, what’s it like?

First things first.

The structure mirrors the current Turbo S model, suggesting a performance hybrid in the same vein as the Cayenne and Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid models: superficially true to the originals, but with a big secret tucked away.

As we’re some months away from a showroom near you, full details are still hard to come by. But the Internet seems to agree that the power will come from a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six

allied with the 136hp electric motor found in other hybrid Porsches to generate up to 800hp worth of oomph.

Fully charged.

While the batteries will obviously add to the payload it’s expected to match and potentially beat the 2.7 seconds it takes the 911 Turbo S to get from 0-60.

And while there is bound to be some mutterings among the purists – remember, Dylan was booed at Newport – Porsche are not for changing and have faith in the new model.

“The high-performance hybrid seamlessly continues innovative development of the 911 drive,” Frank Moser, who oversees the 911 and 718 lines, said in a statement. “This benefits the driver whenever they’re accelerating. We therefore have a technology that will prepare us for future emission standards.”

Another motoring title speculates that the modified twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre flat-six and a 400-volt hybrid system powering the electrified 911 will feature an integrated starter-generator developed in conjunction with EV maker Rimac, in whom Porsche owns a significant stake.

Full wheel drive.

Unlike other hybrid or fully electric Porsches, the electric motor in this setup will be mounted on the front rather than the rear axle, giving the car all four wheels to distribute those extra 349 kilowatts.

The reimagined 911 is just one of four major launches with a Taycan Turbo GT, a new Panamera, and the all-electric Macan expected before year’s end. So, is it any good? The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind, as a certain someone might say.
