genuine question should i switch to debian... ive been using pop! os for like. a day. i love it, but idk........ i feel like becoming more of a disgusting gay today so thats probably why. I heard it has a similar terminal to pop cause pop is built on ubuntu and ubuntu is built on debian..... so YEAH.

I know this is just stock Pop!_OS with barely any customization but like, heck, I was so excited that I got it working!

(It also has no right running as well as it does on a Celeron with only 4GBs of RAM. This genuinely feels smoother than ChromeOS at times, and this is a pretty heavy distro choice for a low-end Chromebook!)

Currently using Pop!_OS as my operating system for my HP laptop. It’s working out very well! Linux definitely is different from Windows, but I’ve had time to play around with it in virtual machines and it’s a fabulous Linux Distro (Pop!_OS) if anyone is willing to try it out!! It’s a great replacement for Windows 11 since that OS was becoming extremely bloated (not to mention all the AI and privacy violations). This was one of the best possible decisions for me—for my laptop at least. :)

Pop!_OSからUbuntuへ

久しぶりに徹夜してしまいました。 ソフトウェア開発環境の変更をしていたら弄り壊したような状態になって元に戻せなくなりました。 他のPCはすべてUbuntuで、これだけがPop!_OS。壊したのを直すのが面倒くさいので思い切ってバックアップを取ってからUbuntuをクリーンインストールしました。 ほぼ前と同じ環境になったかなと思います。4時間かかりました。

Pop!_OS might actually be my new favorite distro. Only used it for 3 days but I like it a lot so far. I don't use Arch anymore, by the way. 😔
