The Colourful Microporus affinis
Fungi in the Micoporus genus are often quite stunning, with M. affinis being a particular standout due to its bright colours.

#2236 - Ganoderma sp.
Artist's Brackets, Reishi, and Allies - a genus of some 80 species of woody polypore bracket fungi, with fan or hoof-shaped fruiting bodies called 'conks'.
Ganoderma grow on both conifers and hardwoods, and produce enzymes that can digest cellulose and lignin. Some species are used in Chinese traditional medicine, but there's very little evidence it's actually good for anything.
Huka Falls, Taupo Volcanic Zone, New Zealand

団扇茸[Uchiwatake] Microporus affinis
団扇[Uchiwa] : Paper fan
茸[Take] : Mushroom
A member of the mashroom 猿の腰掛け|胡孫眼[Sarunokoshikake](The family Polyporacea), it is so named because of its shape similar to an uchiwa. It grows on dead broadleaf trees. Not edible.
In Claude Monet's painting "La Japonaise", the fan in Camille's hand is 扇[Ougi] or 扇子[Sensu] and all the other fans are uchiwas. By the way, the warrior depicted on the kimono is considered to be 平 維茂[Taira-no Koremochi]. https://collections.mfa.org/objects/33556 http://www.ukiyoe-ota-muse.jp/uchiwa-eng/

Decided to search the name they used here.Looks like that's the Japanese nickname for the Polyporaceae species.Monkeys also apparently are rarely spotted sitting on them.

#2058 - Phaeotrametes decipiens -Lavender-pored Bracket Fungus
Widespread in the Southern Hemisphere, but the only member of its genus. Distinguished from similar polypores by the coloured spores, pore structure, hairy upper surface, and the fact that some of the fruiting bodies, growing alongside the normal ones, produce thick-walled spores to survive adverse conditions such as drought.
