Biden trat ursprünglich an, um eine zweite Amtszeit Trumps zu verhindern. Jetzt, aus demselben Grund, zieht er sich zurück und unterstützt Harris. Diese Entscheidung zeigt Bidens Weitsicht und sein Engagement für das Wohl der Nation.

Mit Bidens Rücktritt wird Donald Trump, nun 78 Jahre alt, der älteste Kandidat in der Geschichte der US-Präsidentschaftswahlen. Dies wird seinen Alter und Zustand ins Rampenlicht rücken. Kamala Harris steht vor einer großen Herausforderung, da das MAGA-Team voraussichtlich versuchen wird, sie mit Rassismus und Misogynie zu attackieren. Es ist wichtig, sich zu erinnern, dass ein schwarzer Mann zweimal den Popular Vote gewonnen hat und eine Frau einmal, aber aufgrund des Wahlkollegiums und anderer Faktoren verloren hat.
