Out on his own, other Pokemon away in their capsules, the human was enraptured in his own space. Head down, hands in front of him and back turned from the approaching party. Despite being surrounded by nothing but calmness, he had a tension about him that pervaded even his physical form- the way he carried himself gave off the impression of never quite relaxing, even if one couldn't read auras. Despite all this, assuming that such a supposedly high-strung person would be vigilant of their surroundings, Cyrus didn't notice Lulu's presence until she made it known.

He didn't jump or startle. Not obviously, anyway... but his head raised at once, then turned. His body soon followed, 90 degrees to the left. Enough so that he could stare-down the Lucario that approached him, but not enough to assume vulnerability, or giving away his intentions. Though, from this angle, Lulu could now see in his hand he held a metal box... and that the box almost had an aura of its own. Not organic, but manmade. Like an electrical current sending out probes as if it were searching for something. Little did Lulu know, this is exactly what was allowing her to communicate with Cyrus in this very moment. She'd be able to read him better this way, too. When at once his aura felt like a sullen cacophony, now paired with his deeply-tired eyes and piercing glare, he had an edge of antagony to him. Perhaps she'd better notice long-kept feelings of anger within the swirl of his presence, too. "A Lucario..." How rude, ignoring her kind offers like that and talking about her like she wasn't even there. Briefly his eyes left the form of the Pokemon and took to scanning the surroundings, instead. When he found... nothing, he gave Lulu his attention once more. Turning closer towards her. "Tell me, Lucario, do you feel anything especially energetic in this forest?"

Lulu perked her ears up in response to his acknowledgement, offering her attention to this unusual human. She didn't take any offense to being addressed so commonly. What drew her focus more, however, was that she was under the impression that this human could understand her. Properly. She'd felt it in his thoughts, even if he didn't reply to her directly.

Strange... even if there were stories of select humans being able to do so.

Lulu wasn't very interested in trying to decipher what such a thing meant. If there was anything to even gleam from it. Though, her sharp eyes did take notice of the item in the man's hands. Smooth and metallic, and just too perfectly shaped. Humans were always making such crafty little things like that; things to let them do amazing things. Like the small rectangular slabs they called 'phones'. Tools that seemingly gave them the answers to everything - Pokemon, locations, questions.

She was unsure if a Rotom was hiding inside this one, though, despite how she could almost feel the strange electric pulses from it. Human things in that manner weren't easy to peer through.

The man took a moment to glance around the trees surrounding them, before once again addressing her. Lulu mimicked him, in a manner. The four dark 'puffs' at the back of her head twitched up in response, the fur covering them tensing and bristling. Reaching out, feeling and searching well beyond what could be seen... All the while, Lulu's dark burgundy eyes remained focused on Cyrus. She was smart enough to know to keep a potential danger in one's sight at all times. Yet---

Energetic. Of course there were energetic things all through these woods. Dozens and dozens of creatures going about their lives, without a single thought spared to them as the two stood across one another.

Combee buzzing about their precious trees, awaiting orders from their Queen as she guarded their golden treasure trove hidden in the caverns of the bark.

Silcoon and burmy swaying in branches, the wind gently rocking them as they patiently waited for their time to bloom.

A Bibarel and its fellow tribe of bidoof just felled a tree to drag to the nearby stream. It had been over 200 years old - a favorite nesting place for the local bird Pokemon. Yet, it would keep a nearby water spring filled during the coming dry seasons; while the magikarp and barboach were too small still to handle the currents if they went down stream.

---Yes. Things were very energetic, but Lulu suspected that this wasn't the type of energy this human was after. Letting herself relax again, her ears twitched again before she replied.

You. Was her initial answer.

Afterall, out of all the living things in these woods, he had been the loudest that had called out to her. Loud enough to draw her from the safety of her trainer. But, as with her thoughts earlier, she was sure that reply was not what the man was after.

Are you looking for something, Trainer?

Humans were funny sometimes. Some didn't like being categorized so blatantly or lumped into a 'catch-all' group like Pokemon could be, so she went with something that was probably more appealing. He had to be one, in some capacity - with his collection of occupied pokeballs. Lulu was unsure of what creatures were within them, unless she really tried or perhaps touched them directly... but they were there. Again, human made things...

I have a name, she announced casually. It's Lulu - my trainer gave it to me. I could try and help you, if that's what you'd like. Are you looking for something you've lost? You seem quite.... upset.

Even if she owed him nothing, Lulu couldn't ignore the blaring emotions she found herself getting almost smothered with. Her trainer would not turn away, were she in the same position, and Lulu was determined to be a good reflection.

FFX was my first FF game so pardon my bias when I say that its one of the best FF games ever.

Inspekta: Hoopa (cute lil guy with bigger form. Portals as reference to Inspekta's plant with the Rift)

Bizzyboys: Falinks shared between all of them. Capochin has the big one

Thespius: Meloetta (the event in BW literally has a longhaired guy with a guitar play the Relic Song so that Meloetta remembers it)

Razzmatazz: Smeargle, Mudsdale, something that matches with King

Lulu: Blastoise (very sweet and spoiled)

Cobigail: Pumpkaboo, grass and ghost types in general, Chatot

Click Clack: Indeedee and Shiny Original Colour Magearna look like him

King: Rapidash that turns into a Spectrier when she ascendeds because it didnt survive Inspekta trapping them all on the Spire, something that matches with Razz, gifts Mitternacht an Applin

Rin @ Lulu: Rin blinked a couple times. She may have not seen humans very often but she was more interested in Lulu, as she's never had a true trainer herself. "So, uh. Nice human you have there," she spoke, trying to seem approachable. "Trainers usually have whole teams, right? Did they not come with you? Or are you the only Pokémon your trainer has?"

“Joan is a fretting mom type who would probably baby us, Baal is a bite first and ask questions later, trick and treat are too young to actually like these type of things. Me and T-Kris. Kris, are just wanting to hang out with people while we can.”

Some WIR-Verse Hotel Transylvania pokemon antics!

1. Murray with Harry, Mavis' timid little alolan Marowak back when he was a Cubone. I like the idea of these two getting along, since Harry's a ground type that evolves eventually into a Fire/Ghost type, both if which are pretty up Murray's ally. Plus...this found family seems the type where EVERYONE looks after the kids and pokemon, not just their parents/trainers.

2. Ericka has a female Indeedee named Magenta. Though Mag is probably a MAID at the hotel, female indeedee are supposedly good baby sitters. Ontop of this, both Lurch, Mag, and their daughter Audrey know a pretty powerful Psychic - the pokemon move equivalent of Vampire telekenesis. So, here's Magenta using her powerful psychic powers to stop some of the hotel's smallest residents from causing trouble before throwing them back to their parents. Bonus guest stars include @lovelylivelyv 's Jack Nephalem as a baby, Fiona the Ogre baby, one of the Dronkeys, Nala, Gary the deleted Mogwai, Dennis, Sunny, Winnie, and Meteora Butterfly.

3. Couldn't resist drawing Frank and Dave, Johnny's Low Key Toxtricity (Named after Dave Mathews' band, who's logo is on his necklace.) They just fit together BEAUTIFULLY.

4. Both Incineroar and Zoroark love children, so I had to draw Ericka's Kitty-Cat and Drac's Lulu with some of the hotel Kids. Special guests include Meteora again, Mac from Fosters, Winnie, Dennis, Sunny, Baby Blobby; and Mavis' baby indeedee, Audrey. (Named after Little Shop's Audrey Fulquard.)
