He doesn’t even want to know what made the plant grow to this size. It’s a localized Undergrowth all over again. Speaking of which… “Does it regenerate when cut?”

Pam turns to stare at him for a long moment. Maybe that’s a strange question to ask, even for Gotham. “No. It’s just a bit too big for me to handle.”

With his ice powers, Danny could freeze the branches, or even the base. From there, it would be a matter of pulling the vines off the building. Neither of which were feasible in his current form.

He grimaces at the building. “Are you sticking around?”

Another long look. “I don’t care how you remove it, if that’s what you are asking.”

“It’s not.”

Pam sucks her tongue against her teeth, then shrugs. “I could take a break for some tea. The area is empty tonight.”

Danny nods, already running logistics on how much time he’d need while keeping his powers less flashy. He’s not in Amity Park to simply blow the plant sky-high and call it a day. “Come back in two hours?”

“That’s a long tea break.”

“That’s a big weed.”

Pam stares, but Danny doesn’t back down. Finally, she shrugs again and hands him a pair of gloves. “Have fun weeding.” Her heels click on the pavement as she walks away.

Who wears heels at 1AM for weeding? Probably the same people with building-sized weeds.

Harley and Ivy concept sketches!

Design Notes:

Harley’s cropped jacket and skirt is constructed from her old doctor’s coat — and her employee lanyard and ID card converted into a little bow. She has a custom AR15.

Ivy is more plant than human — roses for hair, flesh decaying as plants gradually replace her (to even out the reds in the design). She still wears her tattered dilapidated lab coat.

im removing the mayoi (frogs in caves) bc i dont like how satori and its aesthetic was turned from something mysterious and otherwordly to yet another collectable-

so im turnign the frog idea into a single thing living in the underground as a counterpart to satori itself- perhaps it resides in a giant tree growing from the ceiling bc i ASLO didnt like how there was that at first cool looking underground tree with all the rumis (rabbit things) but then it was quite literally nothing (again)

this idea is pretty new so i am still working on the details, im all ears for suggestions :P

The aftermath of freakshow Caine ‘marrying’ Pomni out of possession of her- his ‘doll’. She uses it as a chance to try to escape, but after what feels like years… she’s loosing her strength.

The song: Poison (Hazbin Hotel)

The only time she even sees other players is either Ables ‘pet’ Bird- a twisted experiment from a newer player to ‘humiliate’ his brother, OR when she’s preparing for a show- most often dominating in the games after LOTS of practice from the RUTHLESS Caine.

Caines wife can’t be seen as weak- after all she represents him and the circus.

So she uses dancing to fight, using her speed, flexibility and quick thinking to win against the other players- but against Jax? It’s always a mixed bag of wins…

If you’re curious about stuff that likely WON’T be in the music video that I thought about, I’m sure I will be making a whole post that will connect to each little topic! But here’s a few off the top of my head:

Ragatha is the only one she goes easy on. If she can spare a win for her, she does.

Pomni still maintains some pleasures for herself- she’s learned to ‘code’ a bit. Of course only with permission from Caine- she enjoys making small little trinkets and morphs (usually giving them or leaving them for the other players around their tents)

Because of her basic understanding of coding she is considered maintenance for the players for tiny fixes like torn clothes, small injuries and in general upkeep. A flower Kinger was observing got stepped on from Gangles AI twin on purpose? She can fix that. But you loose an eye or tongue or something that was meant to be a punishment from Caine or Able? You’re on your own.

She has learned to ‘like’ most of the other players outside of Jax. He’s relentless in his cruelty, and only got worse after Kaufmo abstracted.

Every win she makes she’s given a reward for- whether she wants it or not… and if she looses? A sleepless night of punishment. In Pomnis opinion, some rewards can be just as terrible as punishments.

Rewards:

- bath + pampering

- alcohol

- simulated sun room with a garden

- interacting with the other players for a celebration

- a new outfit (sometimes with bonus abilities)

- lavish dinner dates

- ‘love’ bites

Punishments

- training

- physical and mental abuse

- being paired against an abstracted human

- locked in the mansion for days on end with no stimulation

- going up against Jax, Zooble, or Gangle.

- being displayed as a ‘bad’ doll to the other circus members

And other things for literally everything, buuuuut imma keep them to myself for now :)

Danny’s standing next to a newly cleared lot, staring at the shining glass, when someone joins him. 

“Find something good?” The voice is soft and smooth and the air smells of jasmine. 

Danny glances over to see who can only be Poison Ivy. Her hair flows around her face and vines coil up her legs and across her body. Others wave gently around her, like tentacles. 

Not that he’s one to talk. He’s in ghost form, hovering a few feet off the ground so he doesn’t cut his feet. 

“Just a lot of broken glass,” he says, answering her earlier question. “I’m trying to come up with a way to clean it up safely. If I use ice, the glass will just turn brittle and break.”

Ivy tilts her head at him, brow furrowing. “You are…helping?”

“Sure. No one deserves glass in their feet.”

There’s something about the rogue that’s…familiar, somehow. The way she quirks her brow, maybe. He’s certainly never met someone who smells so much like jasmine, though. 

Poison Ivy gestures and vines rush forward below Danny’s feet. He floats up a little higher–hopefully out of easy grabbing distance–and watches them snake into the rubble. From there they grow. And grow. 

It’s a lot like the weed he helped Pam with at the warehouse, actually. No thorns and prickles, though. Instead, the weight of the vines presses the smooth skin into the ground–and glass. Ivy hisses slightly, then gestures and pulls the vines back. They tower up into the air, riddled with glass shards. The ground is clean.

Danny claps, throwing the rogue a delighted grin. “That’s amazing! I wish I could do that!”

Ivy stares at him, like she’s never come across such an odd specimen before. Danny ignores it; he’s used to people staring for one reason or another. Danny don’t do that; Danny that might explode; Danny that’s an untested hypothesis you can’t base an experiment on a hunch–! 

“Would you…” the rogue chews over the words before finally letting them go. “Would you take the vines somewhere to dispose of?”

“Sure!” Danny’s easy acquiescence seems to catch her by surprise. “I’ve got just the empty lot for it.” He floats up to the towering vine, reaching out to turn it intangible. Then he hesitates because that’s…a pretty distinctive power. 

Ivy watches him, making no move to attack or run away. Plants coil around her feet. Well, if anyone’s going to see his power, she doesn’t seem like someone who can judge. Or hopefully report him. 

Praying he’s not doing something stupid, Danny grabs the vines, turns them intangible, and shoots off in an arc to the Bowery.

I was wondering if you could add a shy option for the person that you dance with at the party (sorry I forgot their name already 😭) it’s not a big deal really, but I didn’t feel like that direct flirty option made sense for a more shy MC. Maybe another option that is accepting of the proposition while not being too forward.

ooh good idea! i got too swept up in the drama of it all to add an option for that 😞 needless to say, K will think that shy MCs are even more delicious. if you thought they were insufferable before, just you wait 🫸🏻
