How to Watch Elvis Movies for Free! (Legally)
Hello Elvis fans!
If you're anything like me, when you develop a new special interest that slowly but surely begins to consume every waking moment of your life, you try to absorb as much about that topic as possible. Unfortunately, this pursuit of knowledge sometimes come at a price that not everyone can afford. So for those of you wanting to watch some films starring Elvis Presley, there are plenty of free resources at your disposal!
{These resources are available at the time of writing (July 2023)}
Pluto TV:
Pluto has a whole sub-folder dedicated to Elvis films, with about ten that rotate out on a regular basis. The only con is that ad breaks are inevitable. These films include:
G.I. Blues (1960)
Girls! Girls! Girls! (1962)
Fun in Acapulco (1963)
Easy Come, Easy Go (1967)
Clambake (1967)
Frankie and Johnny (1966)
{Other films regularly added include King Creole (1958), Blue Hawaii (1961), Roustabout (1964), and Paradise, Hawaiian Style (1966)}
YouTube:
So far, I've managed to find three full-length films for free, including:
Love Me Tender (1956)
Loving You (1957)
Charro! (1969)
The Criterion Channel:
Now there is a catch with this one. While this is a premium streaming service, you can get a 7-day free trial (I can't link the individual movies, so I'll link the site). For July 2023, the platform is offering six films, which are:
Love Me Tender (1956)
Jailhouse Rock (1957)
King Creole (1958)
Blue Hawaii (1961)
Wild in the Country (1961)
Viva Las Vegas (1964)
These are only the ones I know about. If anyone knows of any others, feel free to reblog and add them.
I hope everyone enjoys!

Yo, good news for broke nerds!!!! Here's a list of nerdy shows that you can find on FREE streaming platforms:
The X-Files (Seasons 1-11) - FreeVee
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Pluto
Avatar: The Last Airbender - Pluto
Transformers - Pluto
Yu-Gi-Oh - Tubi
AfroSamurai - Tubi
Hunter X Hunter - Tubi
The Twilight Zone - FreeVee
The Green Hornet - Tubi
These are just the shows I can think off of the top of my head. I have seen a lot of various Batman animated movies on Tubi and some Bruce Lee stuff. So if you're into kung fu or martial arts movies you should definitely check that out.
Also check your LOCAL LIVE listings because I know lots of great shows are available to watch that way, too, also for free. All you need to do is invest in an indoor an antenna which costs $10-40USD depending on whether or not they are long range. You need to keep in mind that you may get fewer channels depending on your location.
Like I live in a valley so right now I only get 13 channels and that's why I'm still supplementing with free streaming services. But I do get access to a lot of my favorite shows with those channels like Big Bang Theory, Mama's Family, Sanford & Son, MASH*, The X-Files, etc. Yeah, I'm a big fan of vintage sitcoms🤷🏻‍♀️
Remember by utilizing live TV you are helping to support writers and artists. Cause they get paid every time one of those episode airs.
Ya know, if they're still alive😅

I have Pluto, the free streaming app, on my phone. I don't watch Pluto on my phone, I don't really watch any movies or shows on my phone.
I play this game with myself where I try to guess which movie the notification from Pluto is about from the description. I either guess and then hit the notification to see if I'm right, or I realize I don't know and hit the notification to see what it is.
I then immediately close the app after reading the title so I don't get roped in by the opening titles.
10/10, would definitely recommend this game.
