ok i swear i'm not going to talk about my breakup forever but the thing that just keeps bothering me:

i know that not getting what you need in a relationship is a COMPLETELY valid reason to end it but also. i feel like having a very vulnerable moment where i opened up about my struggles with intimacy and being relieved that i didn't have to keep doing things i wasn't comfortable with, then being dumped a YEAR later because of my lack of intimacy. is something i should be allowed to be very hurt by???

Here’s the thing: we all know why being able to hold Izuku’s hand matters to Katsuki. It’s been the backbone of his entire arc. Even calling it “holding hands” feels a little cheap for how much this would mean to him, because it’s about so much more than just “let me hold your hand nerd”. It’s about trust. Partnership. Equal footing. Redemption and new beginnings. It’s about being willing to save, and to be saved.

But we now have just the tiniest glimpse into what it would mean for Izuku too: he’s comforted when someone holds his hand. Imagine Katsuki offering to take his hand in a quiet moment, one where they’re not mid-battle or trying to save someone else. Their relationship has been so rocky, and we’ve seen Izuku remind himself in canon that Katsuki would never want to do that with him, why would he?

To have his most important person offer this gesture of comfort to him would mean everything to Izuku too and I’ve never wanted something in canon more

The way we watch Alicent get pimped out by her dad, sworn to secrecy by the king, forced into a marriage with the same man (who isold enough to be her dad), maritally raped by said old ass husband & forced to carry his heirs in quick succession, all while still growing up herself and losing her only friend…….yet somehow, someway, there are people out there who………blame Alicent…the child? Book!Alicent is a different story, but to sit and WATCH show!Alicent go through all of this manipulation and grooming and abuse, and hate her?! Yeah some of y’all are sick 😭 I’m not even joking because like…..what?!

We are supposed to feel bad for Rhaenyra being forced to marry………but not Alicent? Why? Someone tell me why & quickly!! I have been seized by the idea of post-canon transfem Toshiro tentatively coming out to Falin before anyone else. And Falin, who also has been having Gender Questions in the past year or so of traveling (in a butch/agender sorta way), also ends up sharing a bunch of HER feelings as well, and they just kind of sit there like “damn this is confusing want to get drunk about it.”

Eventually Hien finds them lying on the roof together and Falin kinda pokes at Toshiro and convinces her to talk with Benichidori about trying makeup. Later, though. Not that same night. They are extremely sloshed and sleepy and Toshiro cried a bunch and ALREADY has a headache.

The hangover is miserable of course and she wakes up self-conscious and worried she shared too much but also when Falin checks-in that afternoon and asks softly Toshiro wants to go by another name at all, and if she’d like Falin to go with her to talk to Benichidori, and squeezes her hand and lays her head on Toshiro’s shoulder and says quietly “I didn’t know how to talk about this, myself, but I’m really glad you did” then it is All Worth It.

And there’s a golden glow in Toshiro’s chest that’s as bright and vibrant as when she first fell for Falin and she wonders if this is what it feels like to love yourself, too, if only a little bit.
