you’ve had multiple guys in your life to say they’ve had you head over heals for them. physically maybe. something held you back from dating ever since getting heartbroken by your ex. however jude gave you a different view of that.

you had met jude a while back through a friends birthday party. you’d both had seemingly been watching each other and asked your friend to put both of yall on to each other. it was funny coincidence to your friend seeing both of their friends already so desperately trying to catch each others attention. but that was the beginning of everything, something you were remembering today just like it was yesterday.

you had been studying for a test that was literally almost your entire grade, it could basically break or make your entire percentage for that class. not that it matters. but this was obviously something you were taking serious. * bzz bzz * the name on your phone brought a wide smile to your face. you caught it trying to stop yourself from getting all flustered and nervous and answered the call with a grin.

“hello?”

J: “hey beautiful, i’m near your place, up for a ride?”

Y/N: “what kind of ride” — it was normal for yall to to flirt like this lol.

you heard that thick deep chuckle radiate through the speakers of you phone. god you loved him.

J: “feelin’ confident tonight huh? seriously though, you free?”

Y/N: “um, i’ve got a few more pages to look over but i’ll just do it tomorrow, how far away are you?”

you were starting to get up and organize your notes as you put down your glasses you had been using.

J: “like 5 minutes”

Y/N: “mkay, give me a few to get ready”

he gave you a quick approval and ended the call.

you weren't underdresses but you wouldn't say you were overly dressed as you are wearing a pair of a leggings, an essentials hoodie, and a pair of uggs you slid on by the front of your door. basic white girl outfits are so cute to you when you hang around.

it was about 8:47pm when you saw some car's lights flash through your living room window. you grabbed you keys and purse and walked outside to meet jude.

you opened the car door door and sat down closing it while trying to warm up your hands as it was a cold outside. but you refuse to wear a jacket. jude always makes fun of you for it.

J: "hey, you hungry?"

Y/N: "very.”

you both sat in a comfortable silence as yall ate at a park near your house.

“this is so fucking good” you said while your quite literally devouring you meal you got from the fast food place. jude bursted out laughing trying to sneakily take a fry from your box. “hey, that’s mine!” you said slapping his hand away. he moved away eating the single fry he got to steal with a grin on his face.

you saw it drop.

“what’s wrong?”

“y/n i need to tell you something, but please don’t freak out, or anything. please.”

something inside you already knew what it was. but you rather stay delusional then believe it.

“i won’t.” — “so, i’ve been thinking and i just need to tell you.”

mhm.

“so listen me and one of my friends have been getting closer and we’ve been talking for like the past week and I didn’t really know how to tell you because i really do care about you but i just really want a girl who’s trying to be in a relationship with me. i know we’ve gotten closer but i don’t know if I can do this talking stage anymore, you just aren’t what i’m looking for .”

you could hear a pin drop.

what the actual fuck.

“so you just did it behind my back disregarding my fucking feelings?” — “y/n it’s not like that i swear-”

“don’t fucking lie to me just to protect me, what the fuck is wrong with you bro” — “i didn’t want to lose you.”

“if you didn’t wanna lose me then you would’ve thought about that before you started talking to her behind my back.” — “i’m sorry.”

you just laughed. sorry. so fucking hilarious.

you picked up your food, shoved it in your bag and walked home. you thanked god for not living to far away from where you lived.

when you were a few blocks away you realized you weren’t crying. but you felt this heavy feeling in your heart. your gut. your head. you would’ve never expected this from the sweetest man you met.

i guess what they say it’s true. the nice ones are the worst ones.

that’s when you felt your eye well up with tears.

you entered your home as a different person than the one you left with.

Well! That was a cute set of shorts. I liked that. Very little substances, but fun little peeks into the lives of Anne and the Plantars. My favorite was the video game one--I thought the spritework was very cute, the chiptune rendition of the main theme was great, and I'd definitely play a Scott Pilgrim-esque Amphibia beatemup. After that, my second-favorite was the off-roading short. It was a cool look at the environments of the island they're on, and in particular I'd like to see them do a more in-depth spelunking of that cave.

That's it for Amphibia for today. Next, we'll be starting episode 5 of Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts! I can't promise that will be today, but I'm going to try to get back in the daily-liveblog-at-noon habit. If it's not today, I will hopefully see you then tomorrow!

Summary: now that Loki found out about cold brew and liked it, you introduce him to frappuccinos.

Word count: idk man like around 800 or 900

A/N: I'm so making this a series.

"Good morning", greeted you a wry smile from the hidden corner of the kitchen's island. Everyone turned around in expectation. Did Loki just say good morning? To you?

"Good indeed", you nodded and smiled, sitting on your usual spot. "Morning, everyone".

Tony and Bruce nodded in acknowledgement and stared bewildered, not yet daring asking anything. You took a quick glance at Loki's coffee; cold brew.

After everyone finished their breakfast and left you two alone again, as mornings usually went in the compound, you got closer to Loki, sitting almost at a reasonable distance -he still was to be treated like a scared cat. You looked up at him and glanced at his book a little. He ignored you and kept on reading. You kept on pretending to read his very obviously impossible to read Old Norse book, until he got fed up.

"Do you enjoy breathing my own air or can you actually understand a word in here?".

"Mmh. A bit of both".

"You're getting cocky with me", he pointed out. "You're too comfortable around a villain".

"Ugh, please. Everyone on this compound could kill me if they wanted to. Even Pepper. Well -especially Pepper", you muttered. Loki chuckled and nodded, a shiver running through his spine by remembering how Pepper does not take lightly of some innocuous jokes. "I have a proposition".

"I'm not going to marry you", he joked, raising his eyebrows, his eyes still glued to the pages.

"Ouch. Okay, I have another proposition", you elbowed him and he got startled. "How would you like to try something new?".

"No".

"Why are you so boring? I didn't even tell you what I'm talking about".

"Unless you mean, as you lot say, getting freaky, I'm pretty sure something new is nothing I need at the moment", he spat sarcastically. You elbowed him again and he felt the urge to push you off your chair, but contained it pretty well. You decided it was okay to keep on joking.

"Well, my proposition was less interesting than that but I'm very open to suggestions, if you know what I mean".

Loki sighed and went back to the initial decision of ignoring you, reading his book and sipping his cold brew without making a face of disgust. He quite enjoyed it, and he wasn't so terrified of admitting your help was useful. He thought maybe you'd get off his face if he finally thanked you properly, so he gathered the words and turned around to face you. You stepped back, a little scared. He smirked, content -at least you were a little bit aware of his place, his power.

"Your cold brew was exquisite. I like it much better than a cooled down espresso. I thank you for that".

You were speechless for a moment, staring into his deep ocean eyes, before finally opening your mouth.

"I'm... flattered", you stumbled out. God, since when were you so blushy over something like that? "We are much more alike than you think".

"Don't get too close, I was merely thanking you".

"Of course, sir. Or... your majesty? Prince Loki? Mr. Laufeyson? How am I supposed to address you?".

"How about you don't at all?", he smiled, without a movement on his dead eyes.

"Not a chance", you smiled back, with the same intention. "Okay. I'm gonna go make myself a better cold coffee. If curiosity catches your eye, you're welcome to join me".

"Over my various dead bodies".

"Fine".

"Fine".

And so, you left. He followed your trail with his eyes, pretending to be concentrated on his -now uninteresting- cold brew, and trying to catch with the corner of his eye what you were doing. When he heard the mixer, he got up and walked up to you, lingering on your back and looking down at what you were doing. Even though he was significantly taller, you didn't notice him until you turned around with two cups of frappuccino on your hands. They slipped off your hands and Loki was fast to catch them. Once he had them, you grabbed one from his hand, leaving the other to him, and smiled triumphantly. Just then, he realized the trickster had been tricked.

"I thought you were clumsier", he smirked. He definitely started taking a liking for you.

"And I though you were smarter", you bumped his shoulder lightly, and he contained a breathy laugh. "Let's go to the table".

"I'm not going to lie", he said, almost laughing at how fitting the midgardian phrase was on him, "but that does look horrendous".

"What do you mean? It's like cold coffee".

"Looks like ice cream with more cream on top".

"And sprinkles! Who doesn't like sprinkles?".

"I miss my home", he sighed and sat on the table. "I haven't been raised with a lot of sweets around. I'm not overly fond of them, unlike my brother".

"Okay, if you don't like this one, we can give it to him".

He moved the straw around and took a short sip. His face at first showed enjoyment, he quite liked the cold sensation on the tongue, the texture of the mixed ice. But soon the ice melt off and he was left with a strong sugary taste that overwhelmed him. He furrowed his face and shook a little in disgust, like a chill running down his spine.

"Too much?".

"Quite a lot, yes", he said, sipping his dark cold brew and getting rid of the aftertaste. He noticed a few strands of his hair had turned white, his eyes showed a few traces of red and his pale skin turned even the slightest blueish. He shrudded his shoulders and turned his appearance back to fully Æsir, and with a breathy laugh said, "it's definitely much colder".

"Oh boy, how much fun we're gonna have once you let me show you the wonders of ice cream".

"Boy?", he chuckled. He closed off the book and allowed himself to spend the rest of the morning chatting nonchalantly with who he considered now to be his new friend.

First say hello, I will say hi back❤️

Let me know which version of the TMNT you would like! If you enjoyed Guide to Being Their S/O & Friend, request it as a “Free-for-All!” If not, just specify which version :) if you do not specify, I will assume it’s a Free-for-All, meaning that if you requested a long-shot it’ll become a short-shot.

If you would like pronouns specific for you, let me know :) Almost all of my writing includes a gender neutral reader! I try not to use pronouns like she he or they, so those that go by either of those can read as they normally would :) If you’re unsure, leave it to me and I’ll write the request where there are no pronouns of the reader mentioned.

Specify if you would like a “Short-Shot” or a “Long-Shot”

- Short-Shot: a basic list of how each turtle would pertain to the requested headcanon or imagine, an example would be the Guide to Being their S/O &/or Friend headcanons!

- Long-Shot: a short, basic list of how each turtle would pertain to the requested headcanon or imagine, INCLUDING a small one shot (typically around 4 pages on Google Docs or 800-1,200 words long) for each turtle! An example would be the Stressed Out S/O headcanons!

I separated these because I know some people like a short, quick read while others like a longer one that they can take some time to indulge in.

5. Tell me the headcanon/imagine you would like! I’m open for anything, however I would rather not try anything that I may have to put a Trigger Warning for. I’m not comfortable writing for a su*cidal reader or anything of that nature.

6. Send! It’s that easy! I will take some time to do it depending on the time you message me, I usually have free time during the week but this will change once my spring semester in college begins in January. I write little by little throughout the week when I can, but expect it to take around 4 week minimum - 8 week maximum.

NOTICE: if you simply request without mentioning any of the above criteria, your request will be fulfilled by whatever way I feel like writing it. If I find it to be really interesting, you may get a long shot! But it’ll usually just be a short shot.

One of the many reasons why:

1) I did not find any inspiration to write it. As in: I genuinely took the time to try and write something, but did not succeed [note: there is a much higher chance of your request being unfulfilled if you want it to be a long-shot, be specific and follow the steps for the long-shot especially!]

2) You mentioned a different fandom I know nothing about to try and crossover (ex; reader being a wizard from HP or something) sadly I don’t do crossovers. Strictly TMNT only!

2) Your request was extremely vague- I tried to write something, but it didn’t click with me.

3) It includes sensitive topics like self-h*rm, s*icide, d*ath, ED, etc.

4) (for my After Dark blog) you requested TCest or a smut with two or more turtles & the reader. We do NOT do that around here bro LMAO

5) (for my After Dark blog) you requested for the turtle(s) of your choice to be younger, as you may be a minor. I will only write for the OLDER turtles (2007, bay, you get the idea.)

The following are excerpts from Korean comfort woman Mun Ok-chu’s memoir. It shows what it was like to be a comfort woman in Burma. (Translated)

(In Mandalay, Burma) page 63 The soldiers and we had the same thoughts, that is, we must work hard for our emperor. The soldiers gave up their wives, children and their own lives. Knowing how they felt, I did my best to solace them by having conversation with them.

page 68 I prayed for safety of Ichiro Yamada. After two or three of months, the troop unit to which Yamada belonged returned from the front. Yamada returned in good health. He immediately came to the comfort station. He said “I, private first class soldier Yamada, have just come back from the front.” Yamada gave a salute to me. We hugged in full of joy. Such a day was so special that the comfort station owner Matsumoto (a Korean from Daegu) closed business for the day. The comfort station was full of excitement, and we, comfort women, contributed 1 yen per woman to hold a big party for them.

page 75 I saved a considerable amount of money from tips. So I asked a clerical staff whether or not I could have a saving account and put the money in the account. His reply was positive. I knew that all the soldiers put their earnings in the saving accounts in the field post office, so I decided to put my money in the saving account. I asked a soldier to make a personal seal and put 500 yen in the account. I got my savings passbook and found 500 yen written on the passbook. I became the owner of the savings passbook for the first time in my life. I worked in Daegu as a nanny and a street seller from the childhood but I remained poor no matter how hard I worked. I could not believe that I could have so much money in my saving account. A house in Daegu cost 1,000 yen at the time. I could let my mother have an easy life. I felt very happy and proud. The savings passbook became my treasure.

page 98 Ichiro Yamada came to see me once a week and I was in a great mood on that day from the morning. But if he did not show up on his once a week holiday, I became so worried wondering if he was killed by the enemy that I could not work properly. He made me worry so much.

(In Rangoon, Burma) pages 106~107 I was able to have more freedom in Rangoon than before. Of course, not completely free but I could go out once a week or twice a month with permission from the Korean owner. It was fun to go shopping by rickshaw. I can’t forget the experience of shopping in a market in Rangoon. There were lots of jewelry shops because many jewels were produced in Burma, and ruby and jade were not expensive. One of my friends collected many jewels. I thought I should have a jewel myself, so I went and bought a diamond.

page 107 I often went to see Japanese movies and Kabuki plays in which players came from the mainland Japan. I enjoyed watching players change costumes many times and male players portray women’s roles. I became a popular woman in Rangoon. There were a lot more officers in Rangoon than near the frontlines, so I was invited to many parties. I sang songs at parties and received lots of tips.

(In Saigon, Vietnam) pages 115~118 It was finally time to return home. I went to Saigon via Thailand. The ship was to depart from Saigon. Then Tsubame said “I had a nightmare in the morning about my mother vomiting blood. I am afraid that something unlucky will happen, so I will not return to Korea.” Hiroko, Kifa and Hifumi agreed with Tsubame saying “We will not go back to Korea, either.”

page 120 When I went to a cabaret where Japanese military men hung out, navy pilots were there. Some of them asked me “Why are you still here?” I replied “I am still here because I don’t want to go home. I want to go back to Rangoon.”

page 121 I put on a pair of high heels, a green coat and carried an alligator leather handbag. I swaggered about in a fashionable dress. No one could guess that I was a comfort woman. I felt so happy and proud.

(Back In Rangoon) page 123 A military man came on a bicycle and asked me “Hi Yoshiko, can you ride a bicycle?” I replied “No, I can’t.” He asked “Would you like to learn how to ride?” I learned with pleasure. I rode it smoothly through the town of Rangoon. I didn’t see any other women on bicycles. People on the street looked back at me. It was fun for me to go to the town of Rangoon. I talked with people in Burmese, Japanese and Korean. I had no difficulty communicating when I shopped.

page 126 I killed a non-commissioned officer who was drunk and held the sword against me. I won acquittal as legitimate self-defense, and many military men were pleased with that court decision.

page 137 I withdrew 5,000 yen from my saving account and sent it to my mother.

Mun Ok-ju worked in Burma during the period of two years and three months between June 1943 and September 1945. She accumulated total savings of 26,145 yen in deposits at the military post office (Japan’s post office has banking functions). With interest, she earned 50,000 yen from her business. In the 1940s, 5000 yen would have been enough to purchase a house in Tokyo.

I watched as Cassidy ran about the field, concentration etched in every inch of her little face. Her tongue poked out of the corner of her mouth, and strands of dirty blonde curls were already falling out of her ponytail. I made a mental note to fix it after her game was over as she gave the soccer ball in front of her a wild kick, sending it flying.

“Mom! Daddy!” she gasped, after the referee blew the whistle. “Did you see me?! I kicked it super hard, just like Uncle Cal showed me!”

“You did, love!” I praised, beaming proudly at her. “C’mon, Uncle Cal’s calling you guys.”

I sat in the grass behind Cassidy, trying to tame her sweaty curls back into the confines of her ponytail while Calum congratulated the team of third graders as they sipped on their juice pouches and munched on orange slices.

“Alright, love. You ready to go get some pizza?”

“Pizza!” Cassidy screeched with excitement, hoping up to her feet. “Mom, c’mon! Pizza!” Cassidy told her before skipping off towards my car.

I pushed myself up, one hand reaching for the hand that fit perfectly in mine. I couldn’t help the grin as I took notice of the ring that adorned her finger. I still couldn’t quite get it out of my head that she had been crazy enough to marry me. Just like the way her free hand resting gently across her abdomen that was slowly starting to swell still left me breathless. God, for a stupid man, I sure was a lucky one.

She shook her head sadly, turning to head into her own apartment. “Goodbye, Ashton.”

“You said you would talk through any concerns you had! Please, talk to me! Work through this with me! Don’t throw in the towel!” I hurled the words we had promised each other at Nic, hoping it’d be enough for her to turn back around.

Her body tensed and I felt even more regret and remorse wash over me for having sunk that low. But damn it, if I was going down, I was going down fighting. “Fine. Talk.”

I hooked my fingers under her chin and kissed her instead. I poured as much emotion into as I could: apologetic and passionate; a plea of utter desperation. “I choose you. My choice is you,” I whispered as I broke the kiss.

“You can’t just say that and act like it magically fixes everything!” she cried.

“I was scared! Okay! Is that what you want to hear?! You want me to be vulnerable with you?! I was scared! I was scared to let you in! I was scared to bring Taylor back into my life! And I know I said all those fears were because I was worried about Cass! But that’s only half of the truth! I was scared about this! I know I said I would be fine if we didn’t work out, but I lied, okay! And I know I look crazy screaming in a hallway, but I don’t care because damn it, I’m scared!”

Nic screamed back, neither of us caring if the neighbors or the whole damned world heard us. “I was scared too, Ash! I was scared of this happening! But, God, I didn’t think you’d blindside me!”

I sighed, giving in to the idea that I was fighting a losing battle. I didn’t even know why I thought I could convince her to stay in the first place. I hadn’t been good enough for Nic from the start, and we had only been kidding ourselves by pretending otherwise. “So that’s it? You’re not going to believe me when I say that she kissed me and I was pushing her off? That while yes, I’ve dreamt of that kiss for a long time, I never thought I would feel nothing when it actually happened?”

“You… you didn’t feel anything?”

“God no… I… I’m not going to make excuses for what happened. I’m not going to ask for you to forgive or understand it. I should’ve been smart enough to stop it before it happened. That’s on me. All I’m asking is for you to trust that my choice is you. And that you’ll choose me back.”

“Ash? Hello? Earth to Ash.” A shoulder knocked into me, pulling me back into the present. “Hey, glad you could join us. You look like you're a million miles away. Penny for your thoughts?”

I looked over the table at Cassidy, pizza sauce smeared across her mouth as she told Taylor all about her soccer game even though Taylor had been there herself. Taylor caught my gaze, arching an eyebrow eyebrow in expectation of my answer to the posed question.

Finally, I shifted my gaze to my right, at Nic, who stared back much like Taylor was, expecting some sort of answer to her question. I stretched my arm over the top off the booth to rest it across Nic’s shoulders. “Just thinking about how happy I am to be with my girls,” I answered truthfully. After all, they were my best choices.

Something is brewing at Etsy: as of April 26, people in almost all non-Etsy Payments countries “temporarily” cannot open new shops. They hid this development in a Help file, but someone reported it to Ecommerce Bytes, which garnered more attention. Why does this matter? Currently, Etsy Payments (EP) is only available in 44 countries; i.e., most of the world cannot currently open a new shop on Etsy. [Updated May 3 2021] Apparently the only exception is India; see the screenshot below, which someone kindly sent me:

There was no warning, and no published end date, even though they say it is temporary. Of course, they say it is to protect buyers, but they said that when they removed standalone PayPal too, and we know that was just about making more money. It’s possible they are adding new payment companies to the backend which will be able to operate in most of these countries, greatly expanding their take from EP. The first quarter report is scheduled for May 5, and that is often the time they announce new or expanded income streams. Expect to learn more sometime around then. In the meantime, watch for payment glitches.

It is also possible that the above situation is related to the glut of bad press Etsy has garnered recently. They released a blog post on April 29th, explaining how they plan on spending $40 million extra this year on marketplace enforcement. Turns out, they were just trying to get out in front of an April 30th report from Business Insider [paywall], which describes 800 policy violations in listings on the site. You can get the details in articles from Engadget and Gizmodo. This might get more traction, as both Insider and Gizmodo noted it is very easy to find more prohibited and even illegal items on Etsy.

“After Etsy deleted the listings the outlet identified, Insider reports that it was still able to find several others for ivory products, brass knuckles, mandrake roots, tools for using cannabis concentrates, mass-produced products, and other banned items. We poked around Etsy’s marketplace as well, and within a few minutes found a bunch of prohibited products, including a vintage ivory bracelet put up for sale as recently as March, several weapons that are plainly marketed as such, and a shop with more than 1,000 reviews selling all manner of spells for attracting love, wealth, and what have you.” [from Gizmodo]

Note that Etsy has also changed the wording of its Prohibited Items policy to include new definitions for counterfeit items. See discussion on this Reddit thread. Etsy is also still getting negative attention for allowing fake COVID-19 vaccine cards to be posted for sale. Vice has the most recent article, and Forbes has an overview of this hot new scam area.

So, is all of this linked, and if yes, what does it mean? Etsy hasn't cared about enforcing its listing policies for many years, as long as the media doesn't notice. Heck, you can still buy gift boxes of manufactured candy in thousands of shops, which is expressly prohibited, yet reporting never removes them. Is the media finally noticing enough to make a difference, or is Etsy really embarking on a huge cleanup that includes (at least temporarily) banning people from most countries from opening new shops? We will likely learn more this month, and perhaps even this week.

ETSY NEWS

Etsy says that shoppers are searching for “eco-friendly” items more often this year, and released a trend report on the topic. Insights include “42% YoY increase in searches on Etsy for reusable cotton menstrual pads...100% YoY increase in searches on Etsy for reusable straws...76% YoY increase in searches on Etsy for food covers...54% YoY increase in searches on Etsy for reclaimed wood shelves...176% YoY increase in searches on Etsy for environmentally friendly candles...712% YoY increase in searches on Etsy for eco-friendly tissue paper...285% YoY increase in searches on Etsy for vintage hoodies.” Definitely read the report if you want to know everything that people are looking for.

They also did a UK-based article on trends in outdoor items. Search tips of note: “2,644% YoY increase in UK searches on Etsy for patio furniture...Over 1,000% YoY increase in UK searches on Etsy for spring wreaths...1,266% YoY increase in UK searches on Etsy for garden lights or lanterns” It is hard to say how much these trends can be extrapolated to other countries, as the UK appears to have embraced online shopping much more during the pandemic than some other countries (see story below).

The latest Etsy Success podcast [transcript with podcast links] covers their buyer research, as well as a few questions from sellers. Not much here, except for the fact that they do expect wedding sales to pick up.

Reverb had a really large data breach, exposing the personal information of over 5 million customers.

As mentioned above, Etsy’s first quarter financial results for 2021 will be out on May 5th.

Apparently, Etsy is testing videos in search; here is a forum thread on the topic.

Facebook still has the most traffic in the US, compared to all other social networks, but YouTube is even more popular. YouTube and Reddit are the only established major platforms with significant growth since 2019. You can read more details from the actual study here.

Instagram is working on new ways for creators to make money on the platform, not just those with business accounts.

HubSpot put together a summary of how the algorithms work on Facebook, Twitter, And Instagram.

Reddit appears to be testing a group voice chat feature, which would compete with Clubhouse.

TikTok isn’t just for young people; parents and grandparents are now on the platform too.

Twitter’s timeline algorithm (active if you are seeing “Top Tweets” on your feed) tends to ignore a lot of external links, and more than half of the posts can be “suggestions” from people you don’t follow. I’ve noticed lately that Twitter rarely makes suggestions in my chronological timeline anymore, except when I don’t have any activity for over 24 hours.

Twitter obeyed an order from the government of India and removed several dozen tweets which criticized the government’s COVID-19 response. The tweets in question can still be seen outside of India, however.

ONLINE ADVERTISING (SEARCH ENGINES, SOCIAL MEDIA, & OTHERS)

Understanding the definition of “return on ad spend” (ROAS) is the first step to making sure your ROAS is good for your business. “in general, a ROAS of 4:1 ($4 in revenue for every $1 spent) or higher usually suggests a successful campaign. But keep in mind that this is just a benchmark, not something to swear by. Some businesses need a ROAS of 10:1 to stay profitable, while others can do well with just 3:1...A large profit margin means you can continue the campaign with a low ROAS, whereas smaller margins demand a relatively higher ROAS and low advertising costs to maintain profitability. ROAS can also vary by platform. For instance, the average ROAS for Google Ads is 2:1.”

10% of money spent on US online ads last year went to Amazon, but they are still well behind Google. Meanwhile, Facebook’s ad revenue was up 46% in the first quarter of 2021, Google’s was up 32% & Bing's increased by 17%.

eBay launched the ability to automate their Promoted Listings.

ECOMMERCE NEWS, IDEAS, TRENDS

Payment processor Stripe purchased TaxJar, with a plan to integrate it into Stripe. This would provide new options for calculating & filing US taxes to Stripe customers. TaxJar will also have a standalone version for the moment. While TaxJar does do US taxes for business from many countries, it has almost nothing available regarding non-US taxes at this time. (Someone needs to do this for other taxes including UK VAT registration, since they don’t have a minimum threshold for micro businesses, and are no longer in the EU, so won’t be included in the new VAT collection rules come July 1. How many sole proprietors want to be registering for & remitting all of these countries by ourselves?)

In related news, Florida has joined most other US states in requiring online businesses to collect state sales tax even if they have no base in Florida. Missouri is now the only state with sales tax but without such a law, and they are working on it.

eBay has rolled out its new coupon code tool. Also, they released lower than expected projections for the current quarter, which has disappointed the analysts.

Meanwhile, Amazon hugely beat its first quarter expectations, and projects the growth will continue. Prime Day will be in June instead of July this year; date to come.

Also, Amazon is letting its larger brands email customers directly, which was previously not allowed. Customers do have to follow the brand to receive these messages.

Mailchimp will soon be offering ecommerce stores, including a free option that has a 2% transaction fee, or more advanced versions with lower transaction fees for $10 and $29 a month respectively. US and UK customers will be able to start a store as of May 18th.

Shopify probably doesn’t feel that threatened by the new competition, as their first quarter revenue was up more than 100% over the previous year. Note it is estimated they got 8.6% of US ecommerce revenue in the quarter, while some believe that eBay, Apple and Amazon lost market share.

Mastercard says that people worldwide spent $900 billion more online last year compared to 2019. They expect the ecommerce trend of grocery shopping and bargain hunting to continue more than other retail areas.

Regions that had stricter lockdowns during the pandemic may have had a greater increase in ecommerce activity; this report compares the US and the UK.

Generation Z is likely to stop shopping with you if your site has issues. “Seventy-one percent of respondents want the experience to be personalized, and 76% said their favorite brands should reward them for their business, the survey found.”

MISCELLANEOUS

WHO WE ARE + WHAT WE WANT TO DO

Eight nerds. One television show. One city.

It was Dean and Cas who brought us together and now we’re bringing you an anthology as an ode to the Supernatural family we’ve built. This anthology, inspired by zines from fandom history, will feature fan creations made specifically for this project. Our group is passionate about transparency and diversity, and we are thrilled to announce an anthology project where every step of the anthology process will be made available to the public and where every creator, regardless of experience, followers or kudos counts, will be welcome and treated equally in the selection process!

Much like the way we first came together through fandom bangs and fests, destiel artists and authors will come together to collaborate on 33 stand-alone stories, each with an accompanying piece of artwork. Pieces will be previously unpublished and produced in correspondence with our anthology’s theme, To Hell + Back, recalling Castiel’s unforgettable words to Dean as he first entered the show:

I’m the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition.

But wait! We’re not stopping there! Since we want to celebrate fandom and fan labour of all types, we decided that a physical book would just not be enough. We’re also offering a digital exclusive as an extra tier, and no, it’s not just the PDF copy of the print anthology! The digital exclusive will include new podfics, poetry, drabbles, and art that will not be available in the print book! Not to mention Supernatural-inspired fan-made merchandise, too! 

All of these will be available in a bundle package and we aim to make every part of the anthology as affordable and accessible as possible.

THE PARTICIPANT SELECTION PROCESS + SCHEDULE 

September 1, 2019: Sign-ups open. Everyone, regardless of experience, is encouraged to apply! All who do so receive a welcome e-mail within 72 hours and a link to submit a sample of their craft. All samples are anonymous so that selection of participants for the anthology is unbiased.  

September 28, 2019: Sign-ups close. Those who have not submitted a sample work to us receive a 48-hour window to do so in order to complete the sign-up process.

September 30, 2019: Sample work submissions close. Anyone who hasn’t submitted a sample is assumed to have no further interest in the project.

Oct. 10 to Nov. 10, 2019: Round 1 of blind reads/viewing. One mod who does not participate in the reading/viewing process makes certain that all writing samples are anonymous and passes them on to round 1 reviewers. Round 1 reviewers come from outside of fandom. They read samples and note them for basic spelling and punctuation, coherence of plot, structure, and impact on audiences. They view art, noting creativity, aesthetics, style and quality.

Nov. 11 to Nov. 25, 2019: Round 2 of blind reads/viewing. The remaining seven moderators read/view the works that passed the first round of blind reads/views. They check for characterization and world-building as well as round 1 criteria, using their fandom experience to make the final selection of participants that will appear in the anthology.

December 1, 2019: Selection of anthology participants is announced.

GENERAL FAQ

1. Can I write/draw/create anything?

All content must adhere to our theme of “To Hell and Back.” You may interpret this as you wish, but keep in mind that if you apply for the print anthology, you will be working as a team with your writer/artist to decide how you will portray this in your work. The concept of the story and art will be a collaborative effort! For people interested in the digital exclusive anthology, you will likely be working individually, but you can have a co-creator if you wish. However, the mod team will not be pairing you up. You are responsible for finding a partner yourself and you must sign up separately.

2. How many people are you accepting for the anthology?

The short answer is A LOT! The print anthology will contain 33 previously unpublished stories and 33 full pages of art, including the moderator team who will be adding 7 stories + 1 art piece of their own.The digital exclusive will similarly contain many diverse types of creators: 10 drabble writers, 10 poets, 20 artists, and as many podficcers as we can get! Overall, this project will likely involve 106+ creators. We’re flexible and our policy is the more, the merrier!

3. Can I apply for both the print anthology and the digital exclusive?

No. Both parts of this project make up the whole that is called the To Hell + Back Anthology. As such, we want to include as many unique creators as we can and applicants should carefully consider which format their creations fit in best. Of course, in the future, if we do find a shortage for either part of the anthology, we may relax this rule. Creators wishing to make merch for the bundle packages will be able to volunteer at a later date.

4. What’s the difference between the print anthology and the digital exclusive?

Both parts of this project make up the whole that is called the To Hell + Back Anthology.

The print anthology will contain 33 short stories (1200-6000 words) and 33 full pages of accompanying art (1 page A4, minimum 300 DPI CMYK). 

The digital exclusive will contain podfics (10-60 min. long), drabbles (maximum 1200 words), poetry (maximum 1200 words), and art (72 dpi and RGB).

No creator will be featured in both. You are allowed to apply to either the print or the digital. No works will be duplicated or copied to either version. Each part (print and digital) are equally important and all content creators will be held to the same standard to ensure consistent quality for both parts of the To Hell + Back Anthology.

Note: These requirements only apply to works that will be published in the anthology. Requirements for the length and quality of samples for the reviewers are different. Please refer to #8 for details.

5. Can I co-create?

Co-creators are allowed for the digital exclusive only. Print creators will be paired up through a draw (artist + writer team), and therefore, will already have a partner.

If you wish to co-write (digital) or co-art (digital), you may do so with one partner, with the understanding that if your partner must drop due to unforeseeable circumstances, you will be expected to finish the piece solo. Discuss who will be credited in the digital exclusive should this situation arise. You must sign up separately. 

If you are a podficcer who does not write, you must sign up with a writer-partner. Please sign up separately. If you are a podficcer who does write but would prefer not to for the digital exclusive, you must sign up with a writer-partner. Sign up separately. 

6. What is the content rating of the anthology?

The anthology (both print and digital) allows NSFW content. Of course, it does not allow for the depiction of sex between minors, bestiality or any other content that may break laws. All NSFW content must also be tagged. If we deem that your NSFW material is unacceptable for the anthology, you will be required to edit your work until it meets our standards or risk exclusion from the anthology.

The anthology covers (print and digital) will be SFW.  

7. What is the content rating for sample submissions during sign-ups?

All sample submissions during sign-ups must be SFW so that our round 1 reviewers feel comfortable reading your work. If you have any concerns about this, contact the mods.

8. Okay, I’ve signed up. I’ve received the email with the link to submit my sample work for the reviewers. What are the requirements for submitting samples?

While the submission form will have your name, all samples pieces themselves must be submitted free of any identification. If you’re submitting a previously published piece of writing, please copy the story into a blank Google doc. and send it to us without your name on it. Therefore, there should be no links to AO3 or other sites. Artists, please remove watermarks or any other identifying info. on your art sample and then upload it as an attachment directly to part 2 of the application form! We promise that we won’t re-post them anywhere else!

If you are co-writing, each partner should submit a sample separately.

All samples, for both writers and artists, will be sent to us via a Google doc. If you have any trouble or are unsure how to do this, contact the mods.

***ALL SAMPLES MUST BE SFW***

Writers (print): 1000 - 2000 words of fic that showcase Dean and Cas’ profound bond. Can be an excerpt (with brief story summary), previously published or new. Story summaries that accompany excerpts are for context purposes—we'd like to be able to situate your sample in context! Can be a completed fic, previously published or new. No identifying information. Safe For Work.

Artists (print and digital): submit one fully completed piece of art (preferably in the style that you will be working with for the anthology). No watermarks or any other kind of directly identifying information is to be on this piece. Safe For Work!

Poets (digital): submit one piece of poetry of 200-800 words. 

Drabble writers (digital): submit one drabble of 600-800 words. 

Podficcers (digital): We do not have sample submissions for podfics, owing to how many few podficcers are within the fandom. Therefore, people who wish to podfic without experience are able to apply. However, we reserve the right to deny publication of the podfic. in the digital exclusive if the quality is not up to par and fixing said quality would delay shipping. Furthermore, podficcers must write their own fic. If you’re a podficcer who does not write fic, please sign-up with a writer whose work you would like to read. This writer's text will not be featured within either the physical anthology or the digital exclusive, as we would like podfics to remain audio-only content. However, we will feature them (and their AO3/social media) in our contributor list and credit both creators in our final pages! Regardless of these details, do not be deterred from applying! The mods will work especially hard with podficcers to smooth things out because we are super excited to see you featured in our digital exclusive!

9. Cool! I’m going to sign up. I’m going to submit a sample for the reviewers. If I’m accepted, what will be the requirements for my anthology piece?

Rating: All ratings are welcome, provided that the material does not break laws. Content must be tagged. You will be contacted by the mods if you have unsuitable material and advised on how to proceed.

Content: All content must be brand-new. It should not have been published anywhere else. It must adhere with our “to hell and back” theme.

Writers (print): one story of 1200-6000 words.

Artists (print): 1 page A4, minimum 300 DPI CMYK.

Poets (digital): as many poems as you wish, all of which combined reach a maximum of 1200 words. There is no minimum.

Drabble writers (digital): as many drabbles as you wish, all of which combined reach minimum 100 words, maximum 1200 words.

Artists (digital): 2 pages, 72 dpi and RGB.

Podficcers (digital): they should be between 10-60 min. long.

10. Can I post my work for the anthology online?

Yes, 4 months after the anthologies officially ship (projected shipping date is October 2020; therefore, you can expect to post your creations February 1, 2021. Before then, you are not allowed to post anthology content. 

11. Can I post teasers about my work for the anthology to build up excitement?

No. We, the mod team, would like all promotions to come from us, and we have scheduled sneak-peeks and audience engagement to keep the momentum going. You are prohibited from discussing details of your work to the general public before the anthology ships. 

12. Is there a Discord for creators?

Yes! It will open on December 1, 2019 when all participants are finalized.

1. I see myself having my own RESTAURANT and being a BUSINESS WOMEN 10 years from now. And I think my learning in SPUP are vital that will lead me to what I want. Why? Because they taught me the things I must learn to continue venturing what I want in life.

2. For me ABM was the best choices cause it is connected to what I want to be in the future. I want to own a RESTAURANT someday and ABM is helping me to know how can I analyze, balance, record and many more a transaction.

3. The course I want to take in college was HRM (Hotel and Restaurant Management) cause I want to have my own RESTAURANT someday to help my parents and for them not to work anymore.

4. I want to learn more about the technologies in the subject Empowerment Technology. I want to learn the real meaning of technology, its branches, functions, and uses. I want to know how ICT evolved, developed, improved and upgraded its feature.

5. Corona virus has taught me the meaning of life and its purpose; it remind me of what I am, deep down inside me. Corona virus thought me that life is important and should be appreciated. Corona virus taught me to be comfortable with what I have know and be contended. It gives me an opportunity to slow down in this fast changing world right now and to appreciate what truly matters: FAMILY, friends and the connections I’ve made over the course of my life. I also rediscover myself because of this pandemic. And with every passing days, I’m rekindling my passion, likes and dislikes, my interest, the things I need to value, understanding what really I want, the importance of time, and most important, my desire to live, rather than merely survive. That the things that Corona virus has taught me.

So now guys we will proceed to the second content of my blog which was named as “CREAT A TECH REVIEW”.

My teacher told me or us I should say to choose our favorite technology and make a review for it. So now here is my answer, Hope you will like it. And oh! guys please read until the end of this blog, thank you.

• Before I will answer it let me first elaborate what technology is, “TECHNOLOGY” means the use of scientific knowledge for practical purpose or application, whether in industry or in our everyday lives. So the technology that I choose was Gadgets specifically “CELLPHONE”.

Here are the questions that I made for this Tech Review about the technology that I choose.

Here are the answers:

1. A cellphone is any portable telephone which uses network technology to make and receive calls and messages. It is also about the technology used to transmit calls and messages, rather than what the handset itself can or cannot do. As long as a phone can transmit signal to a cellular network, it is a CELLPHONE. This is also a wireless telephone that permits telecommunication within a defined area that may include hundreds of square miles, using radio waves in the 800-900 megahertz (MHz) band.

2. Here are the characteristics of a cellphone:

- Has a Wi-Fi or cellular access to the internet

- A battery that powers the device for several hours

- A physical or onscreen keyboard for entering information

- Size and weight that allows it to be carried in one hand and manipulated with the other hand

- Touch-screen interface in almost all cases

- A virtual assistant, like Siri, Cortana or Google Assistant

- It has the ability to download data from the internet, including apps and books

- Wireless operation

3. The importance of cellphone was the perfect way to stay connected with others specially a family member whose away from you. It also provides a user with a sense of security. Example, in an event of emergency, having a cellphone can allow you to help to seek for a help and it could even save lives of others. This is also capable of internet access, sending and receiving photos, videos and files, and some cellphone are equipped with GPS technology. This allows users in locating some places around the world and allowing the cellphone to be found and the user location in the event of loss or emergency.

4. Here are the negative effects of cellphone among teenagers:

- Cause headaches

- Decreased attention

- Shortness of temper

- Sleep disorder

- Depression

- Lack of human contact

- Psychological problems

5. Cellphones are used in a variety of purpose, such as keeping in touch with family members, for conducting business, and in order to have access to a telephone in the event of emergency. We also used this to socialize to other people in different places through the use of social media. We use cellphones to share information to others, read news, stories and others. We use cellphone as one of our source of information. To meet other people and etc.

So guys were here at the last content of my blog, a “MOVIE REVIEW”. My teacher told me or us to choose 3 of our favorite that had a profound impact on my or our life. After every movie I should answer the guide questions that was given. Hope you will enjoy reading this. So, here are the questions:

So the first movie that I choose was MIDNIGHT SUN

SUMMARY:

A girl named Katie Price (Bella Throne) has a rare genetic condition called Xeroderma Pigmentosum or commonly called as XP, in where she is allergic to sunlight. Katie’s condition prevents her from being out in the sunlight. At the age of 17-years-old, Katie was been sheltered since childhood and was confined to their house during day because of this rare disease that she have that makes even the smallest amount of sunlight are deadly or can kill her. She has her father and her friend named Jack and Morgan to keep her company. When she graduated from home schooling, she asked her dad to allow her to go out. Katie comes out of the house every night, when the ray of the sun is no longer present. One night, she was noticed and asked out by her longtime crush, Charlie, whom she had been watching from her window from time to time. She was playing a guitar at the train station that time. Charlie heard her voice that’s why he walked towards Katie. When Charlie tried to talk to her, Katie suddenly leave and forgets her notebook. Charlie saw the notebook that Katie forgot so he keep it. He returns the next day, hoping that Katie was there. When he arrived at the train station he saw Katie singing again, so he walks towards Katie and talk to her. He explains to her how he got his injury that prevented him from getting a scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley. They fell in love with each other as she secretly hide her health condition to Charlie. One night, she forgot about the danger and she was a little bit exposed to sunlight and eventually got her sick. She at first couldn’t accept the truth and didn’t want to see Charlie again. But at the end, she learn the importance of the time she could spent with the people she loved. She enjoyed her remaining days of her life with Charlie, her dad Jack and her best friend Morgan.

Questions answer:

1. For me, the life lesson that can be learned from the movie was be brave enough to faces every struggles, pains and most specially fears in life.

2. For me, the part of the movie that is the most powerful was when Katie and Charlie slept outside and Katie woke up when the sun was going to rise, so she hurriedly run and told Charlie to get her home fast but still she was exposed to sunlight. This is the most powerful part for me cause it made me realize a lot of things like how special our life is, I have a lots of complaints in life not realizing how blessed I am among others, I have a life and freedom which I never a blessing from above, it also teaches me to use my time wisely, and lastly and most specially I realized that our parents or my parents can be overprotective with us but chose to allow us to be happy and enjoy the life outside the house.

3. My favorite character on the movie was Katie price, cause she became brave enough to face the one she feared of the most.

4. When the time that Katie was dying it reminds me when I was a child (I don’t know my specific age that time), when my grandfather on my fathers side is dying because of the illness he have.

The second movie that I choose was FIVE FEET APART

Summary:

Five Feet Apart is a movie about Stella Grant (Haley Lu Richardson) who is a cystic fibrosis patient who actively uses social media to cope with her illness. She tries to live a normal life like others even if she had this kind if illness. At the hospital, she meet Willian “Will” Newman, who is there for a medical trial, in an attempt to get rid of the bacteria infection (B. cepacia) he has in his lungs. Those patients that have a CF are strictly kept six feet apart to reduce the risk of cross-infection, as a contracting bacterial infections from other CF patients can be dangerous – even life- threatening to them. Stella is determined to follow the rules not like Will who likes to break the rules and take dangerous risks sometimes. She notice that Will isn’t strictly following the treatment regimen and eventually gets him to agree to do so. As time goes by, Will and Stella began to fall for each other and secretly go on their first date, staying only five feet apart instead of six feet apart. Stella explaining she’s “taking that foot – for us”, they eventually end up to the hospital pool where they strip to reveal scars from their past surgeries they have. The next day is Will’s birthday and Stella throws him a surprise dinner party with the help of her best friend Poe and their fellow CF patients. The next day, Poe dies which leaves her devastated and because of this she pushes Will away. Later Stella realize how Poe did not get to live his life so she decided to live her life and see the lights with Will. As they walk on solid ice, Stella almost die but Will gave her a mouth-to-mouth and save her. At the hospital, the lung transplant for Stella was successful, and Will learns that Stella did not contract his infection. When Stella wakes up after her surgery, she sees Will through the glass of her room. He has set up a display of lights outside her room, saying that his only regret was that she did not get to see the lights, so he brought them to her. He tells her that his drug trial isn’t working, and he doesn’t want her to have to deal with his eventual death. He gives her a notebook of his drawings of her and he confesses his love for her. Will makes her close her eyes, because he says he won’t be able to leave if she is looking at him so Stella close her eyes and Will walks away. Years have passed, Stella can be seen in a video on her channel, saying she misses Will’s touch now that she has lost it forever.

Questions answer:

1. The moral lesson that I learned from this movie was: first, Even healthy young people can die; second, illness can devastate families emotionally and financially; third, it is scary to love someone and it can be even scarier to let someone love you, especially when you are embarrassed by your scars; fourth; always find a way to feel in control in something; and lastly, live life to the fullest, because you never know what might happen tomorrow; sixth, love can really conquer all.

2. When Stella and Will fall for each other despite of the risk they may encounter and that can give death to the both of them. It so hard to fall for someone who can’t be yours until the end because of the reason that he/she must let you go because of a reasonable reasons.

3. My favorite character on the movie was Will, cause he was willing to give up his love for Stella even if it will break her heart because he doesn’t want Stella to deal with his eventual death because the medication is not working to him.

4. I haven’t seen any of the situation on the movie that was happened on my life but maybe it happened to other but I don’t who they are. But watching this movie makes me so emotional and I even think or put myself on Stella’s situation. Just thinking of it, it breaks my heart into pieces.

Lastly, the movie that I choose was TOMB RAIDER

SUMMARY:

Adventurer Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) defeats a robot in an Egyptian tomb, revealed to be a training exercise arena in her family manor, where she lives with her technical assistant Bryce (Noah Taylor) and butler Hilary (Chris Barrie). In Venice, as the first Lphase of a planetary alignment begins, the Illuminati search for a key to rejoin halves of a mysterious artifact, “the Triangle’” which must be completed by the final phase, a solar eclipse. Manfred Powell (Iain Glen) assures the cabal that the artifact is almost ready, but has no real idea of its location. Lara’s father Lord Richard Croft (Jon Voight) long missing and presumed dead, appears to her in a dream. Lara awakens to a mysterious ticking, and finds a strange clock hidden inside the manor. On her way to consult a friend of her father’s, Wilson (Leslie Philips), Lara crosses paths with Alex West (Daniel Craig), an American associate and felloe adventurer. Lara shows Wilson the clock, and he puts her in touch with Powell. Lara shows Powell photographs of the clock, which he claims not to recognize. That night, armed commandos invade the house and steal the clock, bringing it to Powell. The next morning, a prearranged letter from Lara’s father arrives, explaining that the clock is the key to retrieving the halves of the Triangle of Light, an ancient object with the power to control time. After misuse of its power destroyed an entire city, the Triangle was separated: one half was hidden in a Cambodian tomb, the other in the ruined city, now modern-day Siberia. Her father tasks her to find and destroy both pieces before the Illuminati can exploit the Triangle’s power. In Cambodia, Lara finds Powell, who has hired West, and his commandos already at the temple. West solves part of the temple’s puzzle, and Powell prepares to insert the clock at the moment of alignment. Lara, realizing they are mistaken, she finds the correct keyhole; with only one second left, Lara persuades Powell to throw her the clock. She unlocks the first piece of the Triangle, and the statue of the temple come to life and attack the intruders. West, Powell, and his remaining men flee with the clock, leaving Lara to defeat an enormous six-armed guardian statue. She escapes with the piece; recovering at a Buddhist Monastery, she arranges a meeting with Powell. In Venice, Powell proposes a partnership to find the other half of the Triangle, and informs Lara that her father was a member of the Illuminati, and offers to use the Triangle’s power to resurrect him; though reluctant, she agrees to join forces. Lara and Bryce travel with Powell, West, and the Leader of the Illuminati (Richard Johnson) to Siberia. Entering the tomb, they discover a giant orrey, which activates as the alignment nears completion. Lara retrieves the second half of the Triangle, and Powell kills the Illuminati’s leader to restore the Triangle himself, but the halves will not fuse. Realizing Lara knows the solution, Powell kills West to persuade her to complete the Triangle to restore West’s and her father’s lives. Lara complies, but seized the Triangle herself. In a “crossing” of time, Lara faces the memory of her father, who urges her to destroy the Triangle for good rather than save his life. Returning to the tomb, Lara manipulates time to save West and stab Powell instead, and destroys the Triangle. The tomb begins to collapse, and all flee but the wounded Powell, who reveals to Lara that he murdered her father. After a hand-to-hand fight, Lara kills Powell, retrieving her father’s pocket watch and escape the tomb. Back on her manor, Lara visits her father’s memorial and finds that Bryce has reprogrammed the robot, and Hilary presents her with her pistols, which she takes with a smile.

Questions answer:

1. The life lesson that can be learned from the movie was: first, Don’t be afraid to fail. Failures makes us strong, it is a part of our life. Second, women are strong. Never ever under estimate what women can do cause sometimes they are more stronger than men. And lastly, believe in yourself. If you think you can’t make just believe in yourself that you will can do it.

2. For me, the part of the story that was the most powerful for me was when Lara choose to destroy the Triangle rather that to retrieve his father’s life. It was hard to choose when one of the family member was involved, especially your father. It can make you confuse to think what to do or what to choose.

3. My favorite character to the movie was Lara. She was so brave to face all things that she encounter even her fears. She never ever let negativity surrounds her. She let her fear make her brave enough to face them.

4. When Lara decide what to do. That’s the thing that happened in my life. Deciding whether what to choose between two things, What to do, and others.
