Benefits of using woven plant pots
Woven plant pots offer numerous benefits that make them a superior choice over traditional Plastic Potting Pots. Firstly, their natural material allows for proper aeration to the plant roots, promoting healthy growth.

Make the switch to woven plant pots today and enjoy the beauty of your plants in a more environmentally friendly way.
Considerations before purchasing a woven plant pot:
1. Size and drainage: Ensure the pot has adequate drainage holes and is the right size for your plant's growth.
2. Indoor vs. outdoor use: Choose a pot suitable for the intended location to ensure longevity.
3. Material quality: Opt for high-quality woven pots to guarantee durability and avoid premature wear and tear.
4. Style and design: Select a pot that complements your decor and enhances the visual appeal of your plants.
5. Price and budget: Compare prices and consider the long-term value of investing in a quality woven plant pot.
Conclusion:
When selecting a plant pot, consider the environmental impact of your choice. Opting for eco-friendly materials like woven plant pots made from sustainable materials can significantly reduce your carbon footprint.

Why choose plastic planters for indoor plants?
There are several reasons why plastic planters are commonly chosen for indoor plants. Here are some of the advantages of using plastic planters:
1. Lightweight and Portable: Plastic planters are lightweight, making them easy to move around and rearrange. This is especially convenient when you want to change the placement of your indoor plants or if you need to move them for cleaning or maintenance.
2. Durable and Long-lasting: Plastic planters are known for their durability. They are resistant to cracking, chipping, and fading, which means they can withstand regular use and exposure to indoor conditions. Plastic planters are less prone to breakage compared to other materials like clay or ceramic.
3. Moisture Retention: Plastic planters have better moisture retention properties compared to porous materials like terracotta or clay. This can be beneficial for plants that require a more consistent level of moisture, as the plastic helps prevent water from evaporating too quickly.
4. Versatility: Plastic planters come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and designs, allowing you to find the perfect match for your indoor decor. You can choose from sleek and modern styles to more traditional or whimsical options. Plastic planters can easily mimic the appearance of other materials like stone or ceramic.
5. Cost-effective: Plastic plant pots are generally more affordable than planters made from other materials like clay, ceramic, or metal. If you have a large collection of indoor plants or are on a budget, plastic planters can be a cost-effective choice.
6. Easy to Clean: Plastic planters are easy to clean and maintain. You can simply wipe them down with a damp cloth or rinse them with water to remove any dust or dirt. Plastic is also less likely to accumulate mineral deposits from water compared to clay or ceramic pots.
While plastic planters have their advantages, it's important to note that they may not be as breathable as materials like clay or terracotta. Some plants prefer well-draining soil and may require more airflow around their roots, so it's essential to consider the specific needs of your plants when selecting planters.

omfg it’s almost midnight here and i have to get up for work at 5 AM but let me compose at least some of my thoughts …
ok idia x robot girl! reader … hear me out 🥺
someone he creates to cure his loneliness of companionship in a tender way that ortho just cannot do; ugh i’m imagining a plain head just sitting on the desk, stripped down to the metal and skinless; him asking which eye color you like the best until it lands upon yours;
the midnight conversations as he builds a body; the pining from the reader (is it actual pining or are you just scraping the edges of desperate self perseverance so he doesn’t trash you like the other models); kind of dream-like transition between adding each body parts (like imagine yourself lying in a tub of ink — cheeks, nose, lips, a slight peel of your forehead visible — and eventually it all drains down as more and more body parts are added);
the first very touch of human flesh upon you; the cracked polystyrene blinks that you give with twitchy eyelashes; you siphon your romantic tendencies between a messy mélange of gritty 18+ hentai and victorian romance novellas; idia pours his damned and tormented soul into making you perfect for him and you pour yourself willingly into the image, designed just for one man <3
past midnight edit:
BRUH TO THIS SOnG
youtube
yeah to this fuckin banger
((past midnight edit again: there are really only two ways you can go with robot main characters: the building process or the robot being oblivious and thinking they are human (Ex Machina or Twilight Zone) i enjoy both sooo much))

It's been a minute since I've done one a Houseplant Spotlight, but I got some new cast iron plants, and I wanted to show them off. The nursery where I got my first cast iron plant is going out of business, so I wanted to get a couple more while I had the chance. I am running out of sunny spots in my house anyway, and I could use a few more plants that prefer the dimmer corners.
Tumblr media
The one on the left is an 'Amanogawa', which means "river of the heavens", and is also the word for the Milky Way. It has both stripes and speckles, like stars in a river. This one should be a little smaller than my 'Akebono'--it's supposed to grow to about 18" vs 24."
Tumblr media
The second one is actually an Aspidistra vietnamensis, rather than an A. eliator, but it's still a cast iron. This one is called "Seiun', which means "nebula". The speckling on it is really cool--it almost looks glowy, like when you use the 'add' blend mode in Procreate. 😂 This one is quite petite, and should grow to be about 12."
Tumblr media
In case you wanted an update on my first cast iron, it is a little bigger, but they are slow growers, so it's not too much different. (It seems to have gotten wider, if anything.) It is still in the owl planter, and currently centerpiecing my Autumnal Dining Room Display.

getting into pmoon games, i feel like i have permission to aggressively mesh the poetic and the scifi and the metaphors and the fantasy into one big gloop. so my world building is getting less mechanical. like a marble containing a soul passing down a river. mechanically, its nothing. but the combination of visuals makes me feel some shit. and instead of existing as a metaphor inside a story, its a thing that actually happens inside the story. ya dig.

Here’s how one man is giving used COVID-19 tests a chance to grow life as plant pots 🪴
COVID-19 rapid test kits have become a new normal in our lives since the pandemic. We might all feel like experts now, but these tests get used once before they’re tossed into the trash, filling landfills and causing harm to our environment.
But did you know that one organization is collecting and molding used negative COVID-19 rapid tests into these one-of-a-kind designs? How?
How are these COVID-19 tests contributing to pollution? How are these plant pots made? And how does that process help our environment? To find the answers, we’ll talk to Precious Plastic Bangkok, the group that’s upcycling COVID-19 tests into plant pots.
