Venus got Sapio-Love on her Mind
Tumblr media
Note: This post might not give you anything new if you're at an intermediate or advanced level of being on the astrology wildride :p
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Air Venus, on a good day: "This fine day, I trust in my intelligence and speak my mind. I enjoy bossing up problems; growth and innovation might as well be my last name, and I love to see that in other people too."
Why?- When Venusian energy merges with air energies, it creates an unbelievable concoction of beauty and intelligence, the best of both worlds. It's my favorite thing to see.
As we already know, air energy pertains to the mental realms of our beings. This aspect, highlighted through one's Venus, showcases what they enjoy in other people and what they value in general. Intelligence? Oh, they find it incredibly attractive! because it feeds and nurtures their OWN intelligence and expands their own mental horizons. It's a language of love for these Venusian individuals.
Ever met an Aquarius Venus? They just adore unique qualities that make people stand out. Its incredibly encouraging for those who feel like outcasts or invisible in a crowd. It's like a beacon of acceptance and appreciation. Which honestly, we need more of in the world today. Ya'll do us a great service you beautiful Venus in Aquarius people :)
Then there are the Libra Venuses, where Venus is right at home in Libra's vibe. Libra Venuses love charming the pants off people (or as Gen Z would say, "rizzing people up"). Their "no conflict" approach to love is admirable, always aiming for that win-win situation. And trust me, their intelligence shines.
And let's not forget the playful Gemini Venuses! On their good days, they effortlessly flirt and keep conversations engaging. Their minds are like specific Wikipedia pages stacked up together. They sure as hell love making sure you never have a dull moment in their presence – as long as they think you're worth it, of course! Whoops.
That was my take on Air Venus energy.
Thanks for stopping by!
When investing money, the timing is just as important as the investment itself. On the special occasion of Dhanteras, the best time to make investments is during the “Shubh Muhurat,” which is a special time when the positions of the planets are favourable for financial success and always bring good luck.
🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?
HMMM. well, depending on your definition of weird, there's probably several. i went down quite the rabbit hole looking up facts about albireo (a star in the constellation cygnus) while plotting out the core four space adventures fic i have yet to post, but i mean who doesn't love astronomy wikipedia pages???
the most fun big research deep dive i've gone on anytime recently though was the blue-banded goby one. i was thinking about ways to write kryptonian biology as different from human, and then started thinking abt how a lot of mammals have largely bimodal models of sexual dimorphism, but other parts of the animal kingdom do it differently. blue-banded gobies are really cool because they're bidirectional hermaphrodites, so they just change their sex to whatever's more convenient, and can undergo that change multiple times in their life cycles!!!
i skimmed a few papers, but this one ("Structural changes in the ovotestis of the bidirectional hermaphrodite, the blue-banded goby (Lythrypnus dalli), during transition from ova production to sperm production") was my favorite. there's a set of fish in there who both transitioned from producing ova to sperm and i think about them often. it's just so funny to me. this is so funny to me. oh we're both girls so neither of us can fertilize eggs? not to worry i'll grow some spermatogenic tissue-- wait. what are you doing.
overall i just love doing scientific research, especially in biological fields (im a bio student with preclinical laboratory experience so like. its my jam!!!). i also did a whole bunch of reading on various melliferous plants before writing a sex pollen fic. the research in question influenced all of one (1) line in said fic. BUT!! it was still fun fhjkds
I can admit that if I lived in the 1880-1920s I’d probably be snookered into believing spiritualism but thanks to the fact that I don’t live then and am reading about it in the 21st century there’s a lot of it that just seems deeply cruel and money grubbing
The Origins of Astrology: A Journey Through the Stars
Imagine lying on a grassy plain, gazing up at a velvet sky speckled with twinkling stars, and wondering—what does it all mean? This question, rooted deep in human curiosity, marks the birth of astrology. Here, science, mythology, and spirituality converge. From the Babylonians to the Egyptians, the Mayans to the Indians, ancient civilizations looked to the heavens not just for beauty, but for answers—seeking to understand fate, fortune, love, and loss.
Around 2,000 BCE, the Babylonians created the first organized system of astrology. They divided the night sky into twelve sections, each corresponding to what we now call the zodiac signs—Aries, Taurus, Gemini, and so on. Their belief was simple yet profound: the positions of the stars and planets revealed truths about the world and ourselves. The celestial bodies were not distant, inert objects but living symbols influencing the very fabric of life.
But the Babylonians were not alone in their celestial observations. The ancient Egyptians, with their deep spiritual connection to the cosmos, developed their own rich astrological tradition. They linked the movements of the stars and planets with their gods, weaving the heavens into the fabric of daily rituals and life.
In India, astrology took on an even deeper, more integrated form. Known as Jyotish Vidya (the science of light), Indian astrology evolved as a spiritual discipline connected to not just predicting the future, but to understanding life’s deeper truths. Rooted in Hindu philosophy, Indian astrology links the movements of the planets to karmic cycles, health, and spiritual growth. This ancient system, dating back over 5,000 years, remains a guiding force in Indian culture, intertwined with practices like Ayurveda and meditation, where the stars reflect the inner world.
By the time the Greeks and Romans rose to prominence, astrology had become a central part of intellectual life. Great thinkers like Pythagoras and Plato embraced the idea of a harmonious, interconnected cosmos—one in which the movements of planets and stars were intimately tied to events on Earth. For them, the heavens were not random bodies but a divine design, with each planet and star playing a role in the grand play of life...expand more
Welcome to Astronomy Daily, your friendly and engaging source for all things space and Astronomy. I'm your host, Anna, here to guide you through the latest cosmic headlines. Whether you're a casual stargazer or an astrophysics enthusiast, we've got news that will spark your curiosity and keep you informed about the universe. - **Planetary Influences on the Sun's Magnetic Cycles**: Researchers at the Helmholtz Zentrum Dresden, Rossendorf, and the University of Latvia have unveiled a groundbreaking physical model supporting the planetary hypothesis. This model proposes that vortex-shaped currents on the sun, named Rossby waves, act as intermediaries between the gravitational influences of planets like Venus, Earth, and Jupiter, and the sun's magnetic activities. By revealing how Rossby waves mediate the planet's tidal forces, researchers can now predict and understand even longer-term solar cycles, offering new insights into the sun's behavior and its interactions with the rest of our solar system. - **Exploring Neptune's Moon Triton**: Steve Olson and Jeffrey Landis have proposed the Triton Hopper mission to explore Neptune's largest moon, Triton. The innovative mission aims to use a cryogenic pump to extract propellant directly from Triton's icy surface, enabling the hopper to cover significant distances by hopping across the moon. Loaded with scientific instruments, this mission could unlock a wealth of data about Triton's geology and potential for biological activity. - **Redefining What Makes a Planet**: The definition of what constitutes a planet is back up for debate. Researchers like Jean-Luc Margot of UCLA have proposed new criteria focusing on dynamical dominance and mass. This refined classification aims to provide clarity and consistency, aiding both the astronomical community and the public's understanding of what exactly constitutes a planet. The IAU is expected to discuss these proposals further at their next general assembly in Rome in 2027. - **Space Sustainability Collaboration**: Airbus Defense and Space and Astroscale Limited have partnered to advance in-orbit servicing and space debris removal. Their collaboration focuses on space debris removal, in-orbit servicing, precise navigation and docking technologies, in-orbit space assembly and manufacturing, and satellite refueling and life extension. This partnership aims to enhance the longevity and efficiency of space assets, contributing significantly to building a circular economy in space.
