## Summary

ANM-039 is a cosmic, sentient undead entity resembling a giant skeleton with a broken crown. ANM-039 is located at the center of the Andromeda galaxy and lacks legs. #### Description

ANM-039 is a cosmic, sentient undead entity resembling a giant skeleton with a broken crown. ANM-039 has a damaged and split skull, with a second burned skull observed inside, yellow teeth, and a crown with four colored stones each the size of Jupiter. The stones appear to be planets but have not been identified by MOTHRA. ANM-039's body is composed of bones and rib-like structures, with a more fortified exoskeleton-like structure, including a purple breastplate, and two claw-like hands.

ANM-039 is located at the center of the Andromeda galaxy, approximately 2.5 million light-years from Earth. ANM-039 lacks legs but seems capable of moving through space by unknown means, showing no signs of physical or biological activity but is capable of communicating through some form of technology allowing voice and image transmission. The entity speaks various human languages but prefers medieval English.

ANM-039 was first discovered during the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union when the MOTHRA Institution received a signal of unknown origin containing an image of ANM-039 and a text message stating: "I am Purple King, the last of mine. Who are you?" The org initiated an investigation into the source of the signal and managed to establish contact with the entity, which showed curiosity and arrogance towards humanity.

ANM-039 claimed to be the last survivor of an ancient cosmic civilization destroyed by Kruzvisk, an entity ANM-039 described as "the world devourer, the ultimate enemy, the absolute evil." ANM-039 did not reveal further details about its origin or the nature of Kruzvisk but demonstrated hostility and contempt towards any mention of it. The being also claimed that its crown was a symbol of power and that the stones were the remnants of its ancient planets.

ANM-039 also demonstrated possessing anomalous abilities that can affect human life over long distances, such as accelerated aging or disintegration. One of the MOTHRA employees who asked several questions about Kruzvisk "aged to dust in a matter of seconds," without apparent explanation. ANM-039 said it was a "deserved punishment" and that it would not tolerate further "insolence." Since then, MOTHRA has limited contact with ANM-039 to one question per person for safety.

ANM-039 is considered a potential threat to humanity and the universe due to its anomalous nature, hostility, and power. MOTHRA is attempting to gather more information about ANM-039 and Kruzvisk, as well as finding a way to neutralize or contain ANM-039 if it becomes aggressive.

## Interviewee: ANM-039, the Purple King

Dr. Maicon: Greetings, your majesty. I am Maicon Sabino, a researcher from MOTHRA, an organization that studies remarkable beings like yourself. We would like to talk to you and learn more about you and your origin. Are you willing to cooperate?

ANM-039: Not bad, Dr. Maicon. I am the Purple King, the last of mine. I am curious about you humans and your civilization. I am willing to cooperate, as long as you are respectful.

Dr. Maicon: Very well, we appreciate your cooperation. We won't mention the name that should not be mentioned if it bothers you so much. But we would like to know more about him and what he did to your civilization.

ANM-039: I have already told you that I do not tolerate the mention of that name. He is the world devourer, born from the universe. He destroyed my civilization, my planets, my brothers and sisters. He left me alone in this cold and empty universe. He is the reason I am what I am. I could obliterate you right now, but I see you are as dead as I am.

Dr. Maicon: I apologize, I did not mean to offend you. But we need to understand what happened. What was your civilization like?

ANM-039: We were the Children of the Stars, the lords of the cosmos. We were an ancient and wise race, living in harmony with the universe. We had a rich and diverse culture, expressed through art, science, philosophy, and religion. We were beautiful and powerful, each with a crown representing our essence. We were many, but we were one.

Dr. Maicon: That's fascinating. What was your crown like? What did it represent?

ANM-039: My crown was the most magnificent of all, for I was the king of the Children of the Stars. It represented my dominion over space and time, my wisdom, and my justice. Four stones representing the four powers.

Dr. Maicon: Uuh... this reminds me of something... but... what happened to your civilization?

ANM-039: He came from nowhere, without warning, without reason. He was like an obese demon, an insatiable hunger, an unstoppable force. He attacked my planets, one by one, devouring them with his abyssal mouth. He did not care about life, beauty, or culture. He only wanted to destroy, consume, annihilate. He had no mercy, no reason, no emotion. He was chaos, entropy, death.

Dr. Maicon: I imagine you managed to escape, how did you escape?

ANM-039: I did not escape. I died.

EPIC Name Trivia:

- None of the first names were chosen for any specific reason other than it was the first thing that came to mind (I mean hey, cut me some slack. I was still just a kid when I came up with the names. I wasn’t even sure if Jason was a real name.)

- Yes, I kinda based the Greenley twin’s middle names off of their personalities and overall character arc (or at least of Melody perceives them…)

- Speaking of how Melody perceived the Greenly twins, I originally wanted Jason’s middle name to be “Love”, but it felt too on the nose.

- I purposely made Melody Ren and Melanie Rae sound catchy and sound beautiful together. (Like how it was meant to be…) I also wanted Melody Ren to sound more dark yet elegant and Melanie Rae to sound more bright and outgoing.

- I choose Grey for Morgan’s middle name over that fact he’s a morally gray character.

- I had no reason to give the Lukey boi the middle name “Dawn”. I didn’t want him to feel left out :(

- Watzisthfayse is a play on “What’s his face”. I remember my dad using that phrase a lot when I was a little kid and I thought it was the surname of an actual person. I decided to choose it was Lucas and Morgan’s name because I COULDN’T think of any last names of them that could really stick with me.

- For the Epicland Orphans, I mostly just combined random ass syllables together to make the names, I mean, they’re from an alien planet. At least I can make up the language and therefore give them more fitting names.

- Lilacflower is a combination of Lilac and Flower. Why I chose this name, no idea

- I used the name “Vertā” as some sort of made up diminutive for the word “Vertices”. Quantin is a play on the word “Quantum”. (She was a science experiment, so I decided to make her name sound science-y!)

- Douzo’iinou is an elongated form of Durpy. The name sounds similar to the Epiclandesse island of Douzoinii, which is ironic considering their YIXXONIIAN heritage. (Both islands get along well and trade many things from each other. Names included.)

- Durpy originally started as an accidental misspelling of the word “Derpy”. Epic Club was originally gonna be a comedy way back in the “Good ol’ days”, and Durpy came from an island of memes. I never changed the name though for two reasons. One, the My Little Pony character. Two, I wanted to tune it into a diminutive of a more sophisticated yet complex name, as the show became more serious and the whole meme thing was scrapped altogether as I wanted to give them a pretty dark and serious backstory.

- Crystal is technically a nickname and Douzou’iinou (a.k.a Durpy) is a middle name, but actual names would be spoilers and I’D PREFER IF YOU REFER TO THE CHARACTERS AS THE ANMES STATED HERE.

Identification: Tears of Life

Containment: ANM-031 must be kept in a containment cell measuring 5m x 5m x 5m, with reinforced walls and a armored door. The cell should be equipped with a surveillance camera, a ventilation system, a table, two chairs, a chessboard, a deck of cards, and various cat toys. ANM-031 must receive a vegetarian diet twice a day, consisting of fruits, vegetables, and grains. ANM-031 must be constantly monitored by two armed security agents, who should remain outside the cell. ANM-031 should not be removed from the cell unless authorized by the Lead Researcher or the Department Director.

Description: ANM-031 is a humanoid creature standing 3 meters tall, with a minimally feminine silhouette. ANM-031 has light cyan-colored skin, without fur, scales, or feathers, and no visible mouth when closed, but it can open into a slit. ANM-031 lacks a nose or ears but can breathe and hear normally, has two large, bright eyes in a sky-blue hue, four fingers on each hand and foot, with short retractable claws.

A biological anomaly with the ability to revive dead living beings through its tears. ANM-031 only cries when under great sadness, and no other emotion triggers tear production. ANM-031's tears are light purple in color and have an immediate effect on any organic material they come into contact with. ANM-031's tears can restore the life of dead animals and plants, as well as heal injuries and illnesses. The tears can also affect humans, but the effects are variable and unpredictable. Some documented cases include:

- A security agent who was bitten by ANM-031 during an escape attempt had his wound instantly healed after ANM-031 cried over him. The agent showed no apparent side effects.

- A researcher who was struck by a glass fragment during an accidental explosion in the laboratory and had his eye pierced. ANM-031 cried over him, and his eye was regenerated. However, the researcher began to see in shades of purple and claimed to have visions of an unknown world.

- A dead cat found in a dump near the Institute, brought to its cell. ANM-031 cried over the cat, and it returned to life. The cat showed a strong affection for ANM-031 and has remained with her since. The cat showed no physical or behavioral anomalies.

ANM-031 is a shy but polite creature that communicates through simple gestures and vocal sounds. ANM-031 demonstrates an intelligence comparable to that of a 10-year-old child and enjoys playing strategic games with site staff, especially chess. The creature also likes cats and treats her reanimated cat as a friend. ANM-031 does not demonstrate hostility or aggression unless provoked or threatened. It does not wear clothes, claiming to feel uncomfortable in them, and also because there are no clothes suitable for its size and shape.

ANM-031's origin is unknown, as is its species or planet of origin. It claimed to be named Lyra but did not reveal anything about its past or nature. It appears to have a fragmented and confused memory, and sometimes makes references to places and events that do not correspond to known reality.
