It’s weird, since I love drawing musical characters, how little attention I oftentimes pay to costumes, I don’t have many especially big favourites… But Åbo Svenska Teater’s Jesus Christ Superstar (costume design by Tuomas Lampinen) and Turun kaupunginteatteri’s Jekyll & Hyde (costume design by Pirjo Liiri-Majava) come to mind first.

Turun konserttitalon ala-aulassa avautuu torstaina pukusuunnittelija Pirjo Liiri-Majavan näyttely, jossa pääsee tarkastelemaan lähietäisyydeltä teatteri- ja oopperapukujen loistoa ja karheutta.

Mukana pukuja mm. Jekyllistä ja Hydestä! Näyttely on auki konserttitalon tapahtumien yhteydessä 20.12. asti.
